Queen Kenna waited with her sisters impatiently as their mother got ready for their 50th wedding anniversary ball. Kenna knew that her brothers were getting their father ready in another room. Riley finally left the walk-in closet and entered her daughter's bedroom. She and Liam had retired to her dutchy since Kenna now ruled the kingdom. "Damn mom, you look amazing", Kenna said.

Riley replied, "Your father and I keep up on our physical training. You can look this good too. How else would I compete with all the women who still throw themselves at your father?"

The door opens and Kenna smiles as her husband Dominic peaks into the room. He smiles at Kenna saying, "It's almost time. We should head down."

Their son Edward comes running in a few minutes after Dominic rushing straight to Riley. He excitedly says, "I get to escort you, grandma."

Riley chuckled and took Edward's arm. Edward takes his grandmother to the ballroom. Only moments after getting through the door Liam is at Riley's side. Liam quickly relieves Edward from his duty. Liam puts his arm around his wife pulling her close to him. They move to the center of the room to a round of applause. Riley can see both family and friends as Liam leads her into the Cordonian Waltz. They celebrated their love and life each of their children with their own spouse and several grandchildren. The celebration went late into the evening.

Liam wakes in the early hours of the morning. As he gets out of bed he realizes that his body is still in the bed. His heart sinks. He can't leave his queen the love of his life. He wouldn't go anywhere without her. He holds her hand as tears shed at how much his wife will hurt from his passing. Soon he can feel Riley's hand squeeze his own. At first, he thinks he's dreaming but soon Riley is sitting up looking at him oddly. He kisses her soundly before helping her out of bed. Wrapping an arm around her he leads her to what waits beyond.

The next morning Liam and Riley are both found dead in their beds. The nation mourns the loss of the greatest rules to ever grace Cordonia. While their children are saddened by the loss but glad they had passed together neither having to mourn the loss of the other.
