Two weeks later, Fitz was sitting in his office. Olivia was back at work. They had to cancel their Vermont vacation because his boss asked him to work the weekend. He was tired and falling behind in his graduate school classes.
"Fitz, can you be any more inefficient?"
"Do you have a problem with me?"
"Yeah, where's your bodyguard?"
Fitz had to stay professional. He didn't want to ruin his reputation.
"I can handle myself."
"You're still a wimp."
You need to leave my office."
"You work for me nerd."
Fitz was losing his cool. He picked up his phone and called Angela.
"Hello?"
"I need a favor."
"What?"
"Andrew Nichols is my new boss, and he wants to see you."
"The bully."
"How is your hand?"
"It's still in a cast. My other hand is fine. I'm on my way to your office."
Fitz smiled at his boss and ended his call.
"My bodyguard is on her way."
"I want a rematch. If she wins, I'll give you a raise. If she loses, you're working next weekend."
Andrew smiled and walked to the window. He stayed there a few minutes. When Fitz saw Angela in the hall, she took her shoes off before she walked in his office. Fitz was glad the office had carpet, or he would have heard her heels. Andrew didn't hear Angela walk up to him. Fitz held his breath. She was going to take him down like she did when they were in school. In one quick movement, she used her good arm to put him in a chokehold. He gasped and tried to break her grasp on his neck. Angela tightened her grip and put her knee in his back until he came down to the floor. She let go and he gasped for air.
"You crazy bitch!"
"Why are you looking for me Andrew?" She asked, putting her foot on his chest keeping him on the floor.
"Is my raise going to be on my next paycheck?"
"Yes!" He said, when Angela pressed harder on his chest.
"Okay, put your shoes on Angela. You can go."
"I was across the street having a lunch date. If I have to come back to this office, I'm breaking a bone." Angela said putting her shoes on.
Fitz shook his head. Andrew was still on the floor.
"You asked for my bodyguard."
"You can have the raise, and I won't schedule you for anymore weekends."
