"How are you holding up, Clem?" Vince asked.

"I'm fine." Clementine said.

"…How's your leg?" Vince inquired.

"It's fine. Everything's fine…" Clementine said.

Vince sent her a look. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah… I- My boot saved me…" Clementine claimed.

"…You're limping…" Vince pointed out.

"I'm fine, Vince…"

"You're not fine… Let me see your leg." Vince said.

Clementine started to protest, but Vince spoke again.

"Let me see your leg, kid." Vince said in a stern tone this time.

Clementine frowned. "I… I'm okay—"

"You're not okay. Clementine, let me see—"

"I said I'm fine, Vince!" Clementine suddenly exclaimed, but quickly quieted down, recalling the geeks they had just escaped from.

"I know what you said… Just… let me see… To be sure, kiddo." Vince said.

Clementine sighed but nodded.

The girl made her way over to a nearby log and took a seat.

As she did, Vince knelt in front of her and pulled apart the leather of her sliced boot. He grimaced at the sight of a wound. It wasn't too deep, but it was still a clear cut. "Shit… We need to clean the wound."

"Y-Yeah… Okay…" Clementine said.

"Randy has the supplies… We need to catch up with him. Come on. I'll help you walk." Vince said.

"Thanks, Vince…" Clementine muttered. "And sorry… For yelling at you."

"Don't worry about it. Let's go…" Vince helped the girl to her feet and the two started to search for the others.

The small crowd of people they had rescue, were in distress. Everyone was freaking out, wondering if the herd of walkers were still behind them. And as the group members realized Clementine and Vince were missing from the area, they couldn't help but worry themselves.

"Shit, where the hell are they?" Javier huffed, looking concerned.

"I'm sure they're fine. They'll catch us." Randy said.

"Should we go looking for them?" Gill asked.

"We can't go back there, not with the walkers." Becca said.

"But we can't just leave them either." Gill said.

"They'll show up soon. I'm sure." Randy replied.

The group flinched as they noticed figures emerging from the trees, but to their relief they noticed it was Clementine and Vince.

"Oh, thank God." Javier said. "Are you two okay?"

"Clementine's hurt." Vince said. "We need some disinfectant."

"Got it." Randy dug through the supplies, finding some disinfectant and offering it to Vince.

"Alright, kid. Take a seat. This is gonna sting a bit…" Vince said.

"Yeah… I know… I can handle it…" Clementine simply replied.

Vince nodded and began tending to her leg.

"Am I going to turn?" Clementine asked in a small voice.

"What?"

"Do... Do you think I'm going to turn?" Clementine asked again, just as quietly.

"No... No... You're not. Why would you ask that...?" Vince asked back.

"I... Because the axe..." Clementine said.

"The axe?" Vince repeated, raising a brow.

"It had blood on it... Geek blood..." Clementine said. "So…"

"We've covered ourselves in geek blood before. You're gonna be okay, Clem." Vince said.

"It's a lot different though..." Clementine said.

"Hm?"

"Covering ourselves... verses getting it in an open wound... into the bloodstream..." Clementine frowned.

"You're fine, kid. I promise you'll be fine." Vince said.

"I always hated promises..." Clementine muttered.

"Shit... I know..." Vince said.

"And... You can't promise that." Clementine said.

"But you ARE gonna be okay, Clem. You are." Vince replied. "We've cleaned your leg and bandaged it. You're gonna be fine..."

"...Okay..." Clementine said.

Vince finished treating the girl's leg then said, "Come on. Let's get a move on."

Clementine gave a nod, she wondered if she was really going to be okay.

As they trudged back to town, with the rescued people who had been former prisoners of the Delta, they were all heavy hearted. Clementine especially was hurting.

Upon arriving back at town Vince had Clementine escorted to the hospital to be checked out.

The girl was checked into a room and her wound was checked and cleaned. She was then placed under observation to be sure infection didn't take occur.

Word of Molly's demise spread fast and grief came with the news. It was heartbreaking to all of them, hearing of Molly's fate.

It felt as if a dark cloud was looming over everyone as depression hit with great force.

And sitting in that hospital didn't help Clementine with her depression.

Though the doctors felt that it was best to keep the teen, who had a slight fever- a clear sign of possible infection.

However, the fever was nowhere as high as anyone would have expected it to be in someone who had the chance of turning.

Despite this, the girl found herself locked in a room, left to her own devices. Left to her own dark and miserable thoughts.

The girl wondered if she was going to turn or would she be okay.

"How is she? Is she okay?" Christa had been concerned ever since she heard about the girl. And immediately went to see her in the hospital.

"She's physically doing okay. Though we are concerned about the fever. It's not too high, but we're monitoring her to be sure she doesn't take a turn for the worst." A medic explained.

"My God…. This is a mess… Can… Can I see her?" Christa asked.

"I don't think it's a great idea…" The medic said. "We're not allowing visitors right now."

"I just want to see her. It won't be long. I just… I need to be sure she's okay." Christa said.

"She… Okay… I'll let her know she has a visitor." The medic said.

Christa nodded. The woman was led towards a room and told to wait a moment.

The medic knocked at the door and soon entered the room.

The girl didn't react when the medic opened the door and entered. She didn't speak or move as the medic gently called to her. She simply kept her gaze on the peeling white paint of the ceiling.

"Clementine, you have a visitor." The medic called.

When the girl still didn't respond the medic sighed and walked from the room. "She's… not really responding, but… you can go inside."

"Thank you…" Christa said before slowly making her way into the room.

Clementine laid on a bed, not even flinching as Christa spoke.

"Hey…" Christa greeted the girl.

The teen didn't respond, she just stared blankly up at the ceiling.

"Clem, it's Christa. Are you okay?"

When the girl still didn't respond, Christa gently reached out a hand to touch the teen's shoulder.

This time, Clementine did flinch. The girl looked to Christa with some surprise. "Christa? What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you." Christa said.

"Why?"

"Because I care about you. I was worried." Christa answered.

"You shouldn't." Clementine muttered, lowering her gaze.

"I shouldn't what?" Christa asked.

"You shouldn't be here. You shouldn't care about me." Clementine said.

"But I do. A lot of people do. I'll never stop caring about you, Clem." Christa said.

Clementine kept silent, not sure how to respond to the woman.

Christa sighed and spoke in a gentle tone, "I know you're hurting. I know you're grieving, and I want you to know you're not alone. You don't have to deal with this alone. We're all here for you, Clem. And if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here—"

Clementine paused, then sighed. "I don't want to talk…"

"Clem…"

"Please…. Thanks for checking in on me, but I can't do this right now… I can't be around people right now. I need to be alone." Clementine said.

"I think that's the last thing you need." Christa replied.

"I want to be alone..." Clementine said. "Please…" She didn't deserve to be around people. She was just a death magnet.

Christa paused for a moment then sighed once more, "Alright, Clementine. I'll leave you alone."

"Thank you…" Clementine said.

Christa simply nodded as she made her way to the door.

The girl was quiet for a bit. "Christa…"

The woman stopped in the doorway. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry…"

"Sorry for what?" Christa asked.

"Everything."

"Clementine, you have nothing to be sorry for."

With that the woman left Clementine to her thoughts. Thoughts that ran a mile a minute. Everything was tough right now, and she wasn't too hopeful that things would get better. The teen was hurting and she wanted nothing more than to stop the pain.

Maybe it would have been better off if she had died…

"How are you doing, Clem?" Christa asked the girl during her next visit.

Clementine didn't understand why people asked her that. She was never doing any different and she would only answer the same. "I'm fine… You came back…"

"Yeah. I did. Of course I did." Christa said.

"Why?" Clementine asked.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay." Christa replied.

"I'm still alive, so that means I'm fine." Clementine said.

"That doesn't mean you're fine. Your feelings matter just as much as your physical state." Christa said.

"Not to me…"

"Well your feelings should matter." Christa responded.

"What did you come here for?" Clementine questioned again.

"I told you, I came here to check on you." Christa said.

"Well, you've done that. Does that mean you're going to leave now?" Clementine asked.

"Is that what you want?" Christa asked back.

"Possibly. I think I do better alone… I can't get anyone killed that way." Clementine shrugged.

"Clem…" Christa sighed, but then said. "Alright, kid. I'll leave you alone… But I want you to know… Nobody who died is your fault, so don't blame yourself, okay."

The girl didn't respond, and Christa walked away.

She was worried about that girl.

"She's not doing well…" Christa frowned. "Not at all."

"They say her leg's fine, and there's no sign of infection. Fever is down… She should make a good recovery." Vince replied.

"I don't mean physically, I mean emotionally. She's not doing okay…" Christa stated, looking worried.

"No… She's not…" Vince sighed. "But can you really blame her?"

"No… She's been through so much hell… She deserves better." Christa sighed.

"Yeah… She does…" Vince said.

"Look, I think I should talk to her, and… maybe she'll come stay with me. She shouldn't be alone." Christa said.

"If that's what she wants." Vince said. "We should consider what she wants to do. She's not a little kid anymore."

"But she is still a kid. And… we know that she's been known to… harm herself. I don't think we should… take a risk of leaving her alone." Christa argued.

"She needs time to grieve. She's going through a lot." Vince said.

"Which is exactly why she doesn't need to be alone. She needs support and care…" Christa said.

"Not if she doesn't want it." Vince said.

"I don't want to give her the opportunity to self-destruct…or destroy herself." Christa replied.

"She won't. We won't let that happen." Vince said.

"Yeah… I won't…" Christa said. "I'm going to go talk to her."

Vince sighed, but didn't protest. He followed the woman as she went to Clementine's room.

The woman gave a light knock on the door, waiting a few moments for a response. She huffed and opened the door, after waiting for a response that never came.

As she opened the door, she noticed the teen was once again staring blankly towards the ceiling.

"Clem…" Christa called in a gentle tone.

"You're back…" Clementine noted.

"Yeah, And I plan to keep coming back until you're out of here and safe and sound." Christa told the teen.

"Safe and sound…" Clementine couldn't help but scoff.

"Yeah…" Christa said.

"There's no such thing…" Clementine said.

"Of course there is…" Christa said. "Look, Clem… I was thinking that once you get out of here… You can come stay with me and Genevieve."

Clementine rose her brows at the offer. "What?"

"I think it'd be good for you. The last thing you need is to be alone." Christa said.

"No… That's not the last thing I need. That's exactly what I need. I need to be alone." Clementine said.

"No kid, you don't…" Vince cut in.

"Vince…?"

"You're hurting right now, Clem." Vince said to the girl.

"I'm always hurting…" Clementine said.

"Well, you're not gonna hurt alone." Vince replied.

"Why?" Clementine muttered.

"Why what?" Christa asked.

"Why do you guys care? Why does anyone care?" Clementine asked.

"It'd be impossible not to care about you, Clem." Vince said.

The teen sighed at this.

"I think you should stay with me; it'd probably be best for—"

Clementine cut the woman off, "What are the arrangements for Molly?"

"We're going to have a service for her." Vince said.

"When?" Clementine asked.

"We're still figuring that out, Clem." Vince answered.

"You're in bad shape, Clementine. You need to take it easy." Christa said.

"I'll take it easy when I'm dead." Clementine replied.

"Don't say things like that." Christa lectured.

"I need to know when the service is… I have to be there." Clementine said.

"Clem…" Christa sighed.

"We're figuring it out, Clem. You'll know when." Vince said.

"I should be helping plan." Clementine said, trying to get out of bed.

Vince stopped her. "You should be resting, kid."

"Vince is right. You need to stop being stubborn and stop pushing yourself. You're still injured." Christa added.

"I've been through worse. I don't care what happens to me… I need to help make plans for Molly's service." Clementine said.

"You need to rest, Clementine." Christa said firmly.

"I can't rest." Clementine huffed.

"Christa," Vince called. "Can you give us a minute alone."

"What?" Christa turned to him.

"Let me talk to her." Vince said.

Christa sent him a look and Vince walked to doorway, motioning for her to follow.

The woman obliged. "What are you doing?"

"Just give me a moment with her. Let me talk to her." Vince urge.

"What makes you think you'll get through to her?" Christa asked.

"I don't know if I will. But... it's worth a shot." Vince said.

Christa sighed then nodded. "Alright..."

Vince waited for the woman to walk away then turned to Clementine. "You okay, kiddo?"

"...I didn't turn." Clementine suddenly muttered.

"No... you didn't." Vince nodded.

"I don't know why…" Clementine said.

"Hmm?"

"Why didn't I turn…?"

"I... I'm not sure why, kid. It's hard to answer. It's a good thing though. I'm glad you didn't turn." Vince said.

"I'm not." Clementine said.

"I know you're not... What's going on, kid?" Vince asked. "Talk to me…"

"I should've died on that ship." Clementine said, making Vince's heart drop.

"No... Don't think like that, Clem."

"How can I not?" Clementine sighed.

"Molly made a sacrifice and it would hurt her to hear you talking like that." Vince said.

"So many people I care about are just... gone... dead. And for what?" Clementine said.

"A lot of people died so we could live, Clem... and if you were to die their sacrifices would be in vain." Vince said.

"I know… That's why I would never kill myself…" Clementine said.

"You should never think about killing yourself…" Vince said.

"I've thought about it… So many times…" Clementine said. "But I would never do that… I know it would make everyone's sacrifices in vain… But if I turned… Then that would be out of my control…"

"Don't think like that, Clem… If you died everyone would be hurt…" Vince said.

"Just like everyone's hurt about Molly…"

"Whenever someone dies, people are hurt… And if you had died… I don't think anyone would be able to handle it… Especially not Molly." Vince said.

Clementine frowned at that.

"You're gonna be okay, Clem. It's okay to be upset… I know you're hurting… And that's okay, but you gotta stay strong." Vince said the girl

"It's hard to be strong, when weakness feels stronger…" Clementine muttered.

"I don't ever see weakness in you. Being hurt, doesn't mean you're weak…" Vince said. "You're gonna get through this, Clem… I promise."

"…Swear… Don't promise…"

"I swear… I know you will… You're gonna get through this." Vince said.

"…Okay…"

Everyone was worried for Clementine's wellbeing. The girl was going through a lot… They knew she was hurting, and it was awful. The girl had been through absolute hell over the last few years. And they just hoped she would be okay.

They continued to plan Molly's arrangement, knowing everyone needed this closure, this moment to say goodbye. Especially Clementine. The girl needed this the most.

When the plans were set Vince wasted no time going to tell the girl. "Clem..."

"Yes?"

"It's time." Vince said.

Despite her leg still being injured the girl limped her way out of her room, with a pair of crutches to assist her.

And before long the girl headed to Molly's memorial service.

She didn't cry. No matter how much the others sobbed around her. Not a tear fell from her eyes.

She felt numb and jittery at the same time. Nausea hit her in waves as she stood, still as a statue. Time flew by and though for her, in felt like hours. She blocked out sounds, though every so often she would hear the soft sobs and gentle words people said about the woman they had lost.

When she was asked if she wanted to speak, the teen could only shake her head and look away.

After the memorial, a crying Sarita attempted to wrap the teen in a hug. Clementine shifted away.

She ignored the people telling her how sorry they were "for her loss".

Christa placed a gentle hand on the teen's shoulder.

Clementine flinched at the touch.

"Come on, Clem. Let's go home." Christa said.

"No…" Clementine refused.

"You should come with me, Clem." Christa spoke.

Clementine shook her head. "No. I don't… I don't want to…"

"Why not?" Christa asked.

"Because I don't…" Clementine shrugged her hand off her shoulder.

"Clementine—"

"Let her go, Christa." Vince spoke.

Christa sighed and allowed the teen to walk away.

Clementine made her way toward her and Molly's home, feeling complete numb. She couldn't believe Molly was truly gone…

As she stepped into the house the numbness she felt began to wear away and her emotions started bubbling in her stomach.

The girl felt tears flow, and she found herself unable to stop the stream coming from her eyes. Collapsing to her knees, all she could do was sob.

It had been two days and concern filled everyone. No one had heard from Clementine for two days. Each time someone attempted to check on her they were faced with a shut door and no response to their persistent knocking.

However, concern was advancing before just worry. They needed to know if the girl was okay.

Gill especially wanted to know. So when he had overheard Vince mention forcing the door open, he was for it. He needed to be sure his girl was okay.

Two days of silence from someone in that state was enough to get anyone head spinning with fear.

Upon reaching the house Vince knocked at the door a few times. They got no response. Not that they expected one.

Vince sighed and proceeded to work on picking the lock.

Gill could feel his heart pounding as he hoped that the girl was okay.

Once Vince had successfully opened the door, Gill wasted no time rushing inside.

"Clementine?! Clem, where are you?" Gill called out.

Gill felt his heart drop as he got no response.

Both Vince and Gill began to search for the teen.

Gill reached the girl's bedroom and tried the door, which opened easy. However, the room appeared to be empty.

Vince meanwhile checked Molly's room. He spotted a teens frail figure on the bed, buried under a pile of blankets.

"Clem..." He frowned as he slowly approached her. "Clementine,"

There was no response and Vince felt his breath hitch as he neared the bed, hoping the teen hadn't do anything to hurt herself.

As he pulled the blanket from her head, he was horrified to see a bodied knife.

He quickly went to check the teen for a pulse and was relieved when he found one.

"Vince, she's not in her room-" Gill stopped as he noticed her. His eyes widened in horror. "Oh my gosh. What happened?"

"She cut herself..." Vince frowned. He began to nudge the girl who stirred.

"Who...?" The teens voice was hoarse, and she looked like she'd been crying for days straight.

"It's us, Clem... When did you do this?" Vince spoke.

"Why did you do this?" Gill asked.

"L-Last night... I... I just needed to hurt." Clementine said. "I only did one cut… Only one…"

"One is more than enough… You shouldn't ever cut yourself, Clementine." Vince said.

"I'm sorry…" Clementine muttered.

"My God..." Gill said, gently pulling the girl into a hug. "I... I should've been here..."

"No... I... I wanted to be alone..." Clementine said.

"Well, you don't have to be alone anymore... I'm here... and I'm not leaving you alone, like it or not." Gill said.

"W-Why…?"

"Because I love you, Clem." Gill replied.

Clementine's lip quivered a bit and tears began to fall.

Gill hugged her closer, keeping her frail body into an embrace and whispered in a comforting tone, "It's okay… It's okay…"

Vince had clean and bandaged the girl's arm. And after some convincing she agreed to stay at Gill's place for a few days.

He spent the days comforting her, trying to prompt her out of bed, making sure she ate, and spent the nights comforting her when she had nightmares. Holding her close when she cried. He had never seen her so broken before.

Patricia and Randy were sympathetic towards the girl and when Gill asked for her to stay with them for a while the two immediately agreed.

Everyone knew Clementine was hurting. They knew how much Molly meant to the girl.

Things took another turn when the poor girl suddenly became ill. She was constantly throwing up, getting hit by random headaches and waves of fatigue.

The girl felt anxiety hit her wondering what was wrong. Her conversation with Molly stuck in her head.

"Oh God..."

The girl wiped away tears that stung her eyes, heading back to lay down as she finished vomiting that morning. And praying she wasn't dealing with what she thought she was.

"Clem... we need to talk." Gill hesitantly spoke to his girlfriend.

"About?" Clementine asked.

"I think you should see a doctor…" Gill said, getting straight to the point.

"I'm fine, Gill…"

"But you're not… What if… What if you have an infection…? Your leg, it got hurt pretty bad…" Gill said.

"It's not an infection. I don't have a fever; my leg is healing. I'm fine…" Clementine said.

"But you're not fine…" Gill said. "If you were fine you, wouldn't be throwing up like that…"

"It's probably just a bug… It's no big deal, Gill."

"I think you should… see a doctor to be sure." Gill said.

"I had to stay at isolated at a hospital for days. I don't want to go back." Clementine protested.

"I know you don't, but I don't want anything bad to happen to you… I just want to be sure you're okay." Gill said. "We all want to make sure you're okay. Mom and dad were concerned too…"

Clementine sighed she really didn't want to have this talk right now…

"I really, really think you should see a doctor." Gill said.

"I'm fine!" Clementine snapped.

"Clem..."

"I'm not going." Clementine said.

"You're sick… You've been throwing up for days..." Gill pointed out.

"I've got a cold. That's it…" Clementine claimed. Though she knew that wasn't the case.

"Clem... it's not a cold..." Gill said.

"I'm not going to the doctor." Clementine said.

"Clem..."

"I said no, Gill. I'm done talking."

The girl walked out of the room and into the bathroom. She locked the door, needing a moment alone. A moment to process everything that was happening.

The girl was getting no better. She was still constantly sick, and Gill was concerned. He wanted to know what was wrong.

"Clem, I really think you need to go to a doctor." Gill said.

"I'm telling you, I'm fine." Clementine claimed as she always did.

"Clementine... I'm really worried about you." Gill said.

Clementine looked to her boyfriend and touched his face. He looked sad and concerned.

"I'm sorry…I love you." Clementine said.

"I love you too. And I want you to tell me what's going on." Gill said.

Clementine bit her lip, debating on speaking. On telling him what she thought was going on… She wasn't sure… She could be wrong…

Lost in her thoughts she was a bit surprised when Gill called her name with a look of concern.

"H-Huh?"

"You're sweating." Gill said.

"Wh-What?"

"You're sweating. Are you… are you feel alright?" Gill asked.

She didn't answer. She was feeling a little faint.

"Clem?"

She looked up to him, trying to shake her dizziness away. "What did you say?"

"What's going on?" Gill asked. "Clem, talk to me…"

"I'm sorry… I—"

Gill's eyes widened as the girl's started to fall. He quickly caught her, easing her gently to lay on the ground. "C-Clem! Clementine, what hurts?"

Gill kneeled down beside Clementine and held her hand.

He was filled with fear. "Mom! Mom, Dad! Get in here!"

The girl was quickly rushed to the hospital to be checked out.

"Is she okay? Is she gonna be okay?" Gill asked one of the medics.

"We're going to take care of her." The medic said reassuringly to the teen boy.

The girl was taken to a hospital room and Gill's parents did the best to comfort him as she was taken away for treatment.

His heart pounded in his chest as he hoped with all his heart that the girl would be okay.

Clementine was confused when she woke up in the hospital bed. She was even more confused when she noticed a medic checking her vitals.

"You're awake, that's good." The medic said.

The girl groggily looked around and spoke in a small voice. "…What happened? Where am I?"

"You're at the hospital. You passed out, and your boyfriend brought you in. Your blood pressure was pretty low…" The medic explained to her.

"I fainted?"

"Yes, you did. Fortunately, your baby is okay." The medic told her.

Clementine felt her heart skip a beat. "My… baby... I... I'm pregnant?"

"You are! Congratulations!" The medic replied.

"Oh God… I- I'm pregnant… I have a baby in me?" Clementine stammered.

"You do…"

"Oh my God… I… And my baby's okay?" Clementine asked.

"Your baby is just fine. Feeling dizzy or faint is actually very common during pregnancy. It doesn't generally mean something is wrong. It's especially common during the first trimester. And your blood pressure was pretty low, which probably caused the fainting. Have you been eating properly…?"

"I don't know…" She hadn't.

"Well, you need to start taking better care of yourself. For both you and the baby's sake." The medic told her.

This was it… Her suspicions on pregnancy were finally confirmed. She was going to have a baby.

The girl flinched when the door opened, and Sarah, who had been training to become a doctor herself, entered the room.

"You're okay!" Sarah immediately went to hug the girl.

"Yeah… I guess I am…" Clementine said.

"I heard about the baby." Sarah said. "Congratulations."

The girl didn't know how to respond to that word. She looked to, who offered a bright smile. But Clementine couldn't smile back. She was too focused on trying not to panic from the news.

"Hey…" Gill greeted as he stepped into the room.

"Hi…" Clementine greeted back.

"Are… you okay?" Gill asked.

"Yeah… I'm better…" Clementine replied.

"You scared me… A lot…" Gill told the girl.

"I'm sorry…"

"Don't be… Just… Tell me what happened." Gill said, he gently took her hand. "Please…"

Clementine hesitated, but she knew he had a right to know. She had to tell him. "…Gill... I…I'm pregnant..."

Gill froze at that, beyond shocked. "Y-You're what?"

"I'm pregnant… I… I have a baby growing in me…" Clementine said.

"R-Really?" Gill's eyes widened. "Oh my God…"

"…Are you mad?" Clementine asked.

"Of course not… I'm just… I'm surprised. I never expected to… to be a father anytime soon…" Gill replied.

"There's… no guarantee for anything…" Clementine said.

"What do you mean?" Gill asked.

"I was ready before…. I don't know if I am now…" Clementine said.

"You don't want the baby?" Gill asked.

"I don't know what I want…" Clementine admitted.

"You… don't know if you want to keep the baby…? Our baby?" Gill asked, not expecting to hear that.

"I don't know… I don't know what I want, Gill." Clementine said. "

Neither teen knew what they were going to do.

The girl was placed under close watch and her condition was monitored by hospital medics.

Her boyfriend stayed by her side the whole time.

Thankfully, she was not in any serious condition and her child was okay.

Once she was released, they returned to Gill's house and Gill helped the girl get settled into bed. "You just take it easy, Clem."

"I'm fine, Gill..."

"That's what you said before you fainted." Gill reminded.

"I was… probably just stressed out." Clementine said.

"Yeah… I know you were." Gill sat beside her, holding her hand. "We're gonna be okay… Don't worry. We'll get through this."

Clementine stayed silent for a moment.

"We should talk to my parents... about the pregnancy." Gill suggested.

"No..."

Gill furrowed his brows. "What?"

"We can't… I don't… I don't want to tell anyone…" Clementine said.

"Well, what do you suggest? Keeping it a secret?" Gill asked.

"I don't know if I even want to keep the baby…" Clementine said. "I don't know what I want to do. And... I definitely don't want to tell anyone right now… I… just want to keep it to ourselves."

"You can't keep a pregnancy a secret, Clem." Gill sighed.

"I can try." Clementine replied.

"People will find out eventually." Gill said.

"Eventually is not now…" Clementine said.

"Clem…"

"I think I should get some rest… I'm tired…"

Gill didn't protest, though he was confused by their conversation, and a bit hurt… This was their baby, but she didn't want to speak about their situation. And while Gill had mixed feelings as well, he knew they needed to talk about this. They couldn't just pretend it wasn't happening.

Gill couldn't do it… He couldn't just pretend that his girlfriend wasn't pregnant. He couldn't just keep it a secret. But Clementine made it clear that she didn't want to talk. She refused to speak about the pregnancy. She refused to acknowledge it and she was always tense whenever you tried to speak about it.

Gill knew he needed to find a way to talk to her. She couldn't just pretend that nothing was happening. But he didn't want to push the girl either. The last few weeks had been beyond hard on the girl.

The boy sighed; he didn't know what to do…

And as the day continued to go by, he found himself unable to hold his togue any longer. He knew if Clementine didn't spill the news to his parents, he would soon. So, he decided to speak with his girlfriend again. Hoping they could find some common ground. "Clem… Can we talk?"

"What are we talking about…?" Clementine asked.

"I… The baby… Our baby…" Gill said.

"I don't want to talk about the baby…" Clementine groaned.

"I know you don't. But we should." Gill said. "We can't keep this a secret… People are going to find out. I can't keep this from my parents. My mom and dad… They should know…"

"I don't want to tell anyone…" Clementine stated in a firm tone. "I don't want anyone else to know."

"But we have to… You can't hide a pregnancy…" Gill said.

"I don't want to hide it… I don't know if I can have this baby, Gill…" Clementine said. "I'm scared…"

"I know you are… But I'm here… You're not doing this alone…"

Clementine frowned and hesitantly spoke. "I… I lost a baby before… And… I just keep thinking about… what could go wrong… What if… What if we decide to keep it…? And I carry this baby for months… just for something to go wrong… Just for it to… to die… I- I can't do that, Gill."

"So you want to end the pregnancy?"

"I don't want to do that either." Clementine said, tears stinging her eyes. "I'm scared, Gill… I… I'm scared…"

"I'm here, Clem… We're in this together…" Gill pulled her into a hug. "I'm not going anywhere…"

Clementine's response was to lean into his embrace, gently resting her head on her boyfriend's chest.

Sarah, knew about Clementine's pregnancy, and much to the younger girl's dismay it seemed to be the only thing she wanted to talk about.

The older girl would often visit to check in, but every time she did she would ask Clementine about the pregnancy.

She would ask her question after question, and Clementine found herself growing annoyed at times. How could the older girl be so giddy about this?

"Do you think it's a girl or a boy?" Sarah asked.

"I don't know…" Clementine huffed.

"Well, what do you think?" Sarah questioned again. "Maybe it's a girl and—"

"I don't think anything, Sarah… I don't want to talk about the pregnancy." Clementine said.

Sarah couldn't help but frown at that. She furrowed her brows and said, "But… I'm confused… Why not…?"

"Because… I just don't… I can't… I can't do this again… I can't go through this…" Clementine said.

"This is your baby, Clem… It's someone to love forever… Don't you want that?" Sarah asked.

"Of course I do… But… You don't understand, Sarah…" Clementine muttered, looking away.

"Understand what? Maybe I'll understand better if you talk to me…" Sarah said.

"I can't have this baby… I'm scared…" Clementine said.

"You know everyone will help you with the baby…" Sarah told her.

"I'm sure… But… that's not why I'm scared…" Clementine said.

"Then why?"

"Wh-What if…. What if I lose my baby…?" Clementine spoke after some hesitation. "I can't handle that. I can't… I've loss so much… so many people…"

"You won't. You're not gonna lose your baby." Sarah tried to assure her.

"But you don't know that…" Clementine replied.

"I don't… But… I want to be hopeful. And I think you should be too." Sarah said. "You could bring that baby into this world and give them the best live you possibly could. A better life than you had…"

"In a world like this…? It seems crazy." Clementine said.

"We're safe behind these walls. They'd have a happy life here." Sarah said.

"Maybe…"

"I think… You should think about it… And I think you should tell people about the pregnancy…" Sarah said.

"I'm not ready for that…" Clementine said.

"When will you be?" Sarah asked.

"I don't know…" Clementine replied.

"Hopefully it's soon."

"I guess we'll have to wait and see…" Clementine sighed.

"Okay…" Sarah didn't push her. She knew her friend needed time.

"How've you been holding up these days?" Violet asked the teen.

"You want the truth?" Clementine sighed.

"You know I'm all for truth." Violet said. "So, don't tell me you're fine."

"Okay… The truth is, I'm on the edge of falling apart. But I'm alive, for whatever that's worth." Clementine replied.

"It's worth a lot more than you think." Violet said.

"Maybe…"

"There's no maybe, Clem. It's for sure." Violet said.

"It's hard for me to feel that way…" Clementine told her.

"Yeah… Sometimes, I know just how you feel…" Violet sighed. "…You've been… quiet lately… Keeping to yourself a lot."

"I just have a lot going on." Clementine said.

"Like what?" Violet asked.

"I… don't really want to say…" Clementine said.

"Why not? Is… it something bad?" Violet questioned.

"I don't know…" Clementine gave a small shrug.

Those word had Violet feeling confused. "You don't know…? Clementine, what's wrong? You can talk to me, you know that."

"And in any other situation, I probably would… But right now—"

"Don't do that… Tell me what's going on." Violet said. "You can't worry the crap out of me and then keep things to yourself. We're friends. Friends tell each other things…"

Clementine hesitated. "…Swear that you won't say a word."

"To who?"

"To anyone…" Clementine said.

"Clem…"

"Swear."

Violet held back a groan. "I won't say a word. I swear…"

"Okay…" Clementine sighed and then reluctantly said. "I'm… pregnant."

Violet's head whipped to her, a shocked expression on her face. "You're…pregnant?"

"Yes…" Clementine confirmed.

"Are you keeping it…?"

"I'm not sure…"

"Does… Does Gill know?" Violet asked.

"He knows…" Clementine said.

"But nobody else does?"

"Sarah does… And now you…" Clementine told her.

"But no one else?"

"No one else." Clementine said.

"Holy shit…" Violet breathed. "What are you going to do?"

"I don't know yet… But Gill wants to tell his parents." Clementine said.

"Yeah… Are you going to?" Violet asked her.

"I don't want to… I don't want to tell anyone else." Clementine said.

"Well… A pregnancy isn't really something you can keep under wraps. You know, the evidence is gonna show. People are gonna figure it out when skinny Clementine's stomach starts to swell." Violet said. "You know that, right?"

"Stop… Don't remind me…" Clementine said, lowing her head.

Violet looked at her for a while and then spoke, "Clementine…"

"What?"

"…You need to tell them…" Violet said.

"W-What? You're kidding, right? Why?" Clementine asked.

"Because they need to know what's going on… And they might not have their suspicions now, but eventually they will… And if you keep something like this from them, I don't think things will turn out pretty." Violet said. "You should tell them."

"What if they start to hate me…?" Clementine asked.

"Hate you?"

"Yeah… What if they hate me once I tell them…" Clementine wondered with a frown.

"They won't…" Violet said. "I don't think anyone could ever hate you, Clem."

Clementine scoffed. "Really? Cause Minerva sure as hell did."

"Minerva… was unstable." Violet sighed. "She was…messed up… They messed her up."

"I know…" Clementine sighed. "But she hated me."

"That's different though…" Violet said. "Look, they're not gonna hate you… And if they do… Who gives a damn? This is your kid. Your baby. You can't let anyone dictate your choices with your child, Clem…"

Clementine contemplated on her word and said, "You're right…"

"I know I am. When am I not?" Violet smirked.

Clementine chuckled a bit at her confident words, rolling her eyes a bit.

"So you'll talk to them?" Violet asked.

"I… I guess I will…" Clementine said. "I'll try…"

"That's all you can do…" Violet said.

Clementine gave a tiny nod in agreement.

She could do this… It was time…

Slowly Clementine began to come to terms with her pregnancy. And finally she made up her mind. This baby was hers. And she wasn't going to lose another child. She was ready to be a mother.

"Gill… I'm ready…" Clementine suddenly spoke, drawing her boyfriend's attention.

"Ready for what?" Gill asked.

"You wanted to tell your parents… And… I'm ready." Clementine said.

"Are… Are you sure…?"

Clementine nodded.

"Okay…"

Both teens were nervous. Beyond nervous when they approached Randy and Patricia to deliver the news.

They were afraid of what the reaction would be.

"Mom…" Gill called.

"Hey, you two." Patricia greeted with a kind smile. "Clementine, how are you doing sweetie?"

"I… I'm fine…" Clementine quickly said.

"That's good… I've been worried about you… Everyone has been…" Patricia said.

"We've been worried about both of you." Randy piped in.

"We're okay, dad…" Gill said.

"Umm… We… We have to tell you something… Both of you…" Clementine said.

Randy and Patricia exchanged looks.

"Okay…" Randy said. "What is it you have to tell us…"

There was some hesitation from both of the teens.

"…Please don't be mad." Clementine whispered.

"Why would we be mad?" Patricia asked.

Neither teen responded.

"Gill?" Patricia began to feel a bit concerned. "What's going on…?"

"…Clem's—"

"I'm pregnant…" Clementine said before Gill could get another word out.

"Y-You're- You're what?" Patricia stammered.

"Pregnant… I'm pregnant." Clementine said.

"You mean… You and Gill… And… he's gonna be a father…?" Patricia asked, eyes wide in surprise.

Randy sat quietly at the table for a moment before simply standing. "I think I need some air." The man headed for the door and Clementine felt her heart drop.

"I'm sorry… Please don't hate me…" Clementine said.

"No… No, I don't… I could never…" Patricia said. "When… When did you two…?"

"A while ago… I… told Molly after we…" Clementine trailed off. "I wanted her to be here."

Patricia felt her heart clench for the teen. "Come here, sweetie…" She pulled the girl into a hug.

"You're not mad at us?" Clementine asked.

"I'm shocked… But… I'm not mad…" Patricia said.

"Dad is…" Gill noted.

"He's shocked too… He'll come around…" Patricia said. "But you know… a baby… Is a lot of responsibility… It's not going to be easy…"

"We know…" Gill sighed.

"We'll figure this out…" Patricia reassured both teens.

"Thank you…" Clementine said.

There was tension for the rest of the day, specifically around Randy. Clementine couldn't shake the guilt she felt. She felt horrible.

As night fell a knock came at Gill's bedroom door.

"Can I come in?" Randy called.

Gill went over to open the door. "Dad?"

Clementine averted her gaze, feeling uncomfortable.

"Hey…" Randy spoke after a moment.

"Hey…" Gill said back.

"So… you're gonna be a dad, Gill…" Randy said.

"Yeah… I guess I am…" Gill replied.

"Well… Congrats, son..." Randy said.

Gill was surprised by that. "You mean that…?"

"I do… I'm not happy about you becoming a father at this age, but… I'm here to support you… Whatever you need…" Randy said.

"Thank you, dad." Gill said.

He proceeded to hug the man, Randy returned the hug and patted his back when he let go.

"I'm here to support you both." Randy said.

Clementine looked to him.

"I mean it." Randy told her.

"…Thank you…" Clementine said.

Randy gave a simple nod.

And that was enough to take a huge weight off Clementine's shoulders.

Breaking the news to the others was tough. More than tough. The others were all shocked to say the least. Though they did offer congratulations. Well, beside Christa who scolded them both for being so "stupid". Clementine didn't blame her for thinking that way, but she didn't have regrets. She wanted this baby… Even if it hadn't been planned.

Sarah was more than exclaimed and had blabbed the news to Becca before Clementine even had the chance to spill it. The two girls were both set on becoming aunts to Clementine's baby when the child was born.

For the most part, the girl had received mix reactions from people around her.

Despite the reactions she received Clementine felt relieved. She was glad that she told them about her pregnancy. She was glad she had decided to keep the baby… Her baby… She was ready for this, ready to be a mother.

She only wished that Molly could have been here. She missed the woman so much. She wished she could have been around to give her advice, much like she always did when Clementine was upset.

And the fact that she wasn't hurt more than any injury Clementine ever had. And she didn't know if time would be able to heal that wound. She had far too many that time couldn't heal.

"You're pregnant…? Like really pregnant?" Louis asked, surprised to hear the news.

The others were shocked as well.

"Yeah." Clementine simply confirmed. "I am…"

"Holy crap… That's—"

"You should be saying congrats, Louis." Violet said.

"Uh.. Yeah.. What she said." Louis said.

"Thanks, Vi…" Clementine said.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" Tenn asked.

"I'm not sure yet, Tenn." Clementine said.

"I bet it's a boy." Willy said.

"What do you want it to be, Clem?" Ruby asked.

"I don't have a preference." Clementine replied.

"How do you feel?" Violet asked.

"I feel okay… a little scared, but okay…" Clementine said.

"Well, we're here for you." Violet said.

"Always." Louis added.

"Thanks guys." Clementine smiled.

The group continued chatting, and eventually began to play a card game.

As it got later Clementine readied to head back home to Gill but was stopped by Marlon. "Clem…"

"Yes?"

"I uh… just wanted to congratulate you…" Marlon said.

"Thanks, Marlon… Thanks…" Clementine said a bit awkwardly.

"Yeah… I uh…. Yeah…" Marlon rubbed the back of his head, looking away.

"…Yeah…" Clementine repeated. "I'll umm… see you around…"

"Okay… Yeah. See you around…" Marlon said.

Clementine made her way towards Gill's home, feeling they had all taken the news generally well…

And then there was Gabe who was shocked and a bit hurt. "I guess I should say congratulations…"

"You don't have to…" Clementine told him.

"Good… Cause… I don't think I can… It wouldn't be real… You know…" Gabe said.

"Yeah…"

"You know how I feel about you…" Gabe said.

"I do…" Clementine nodded.

"How I'll always feel about you…" Gabe muttered.

"Not always." Clementine said.

"Always…" Gabe replied. "And even though I know… you don't feel the same… I'll always be here for you. And your baby…"

"Thank you, Gabe…"

She was coming to terms with her pregnancy, perhaps even becoming excited at the thought of being a mother. She was coming to terms with the emotional changes, to the idea of gaining weight, to the thought a holding a little one in her arms.

She had realized that pregnancy came with a lot of new experiences, some being positive and others being negative.

The waves of nausea that hit her out of nowhere, the morning sickness that made her vomit, sometimes multiple times a day, and the random moments of fatigue were all the bad part of pregnancy. The parts that she wished would go away.

But then there were the good moments. When she would sit and absently rub her growing belly, thinking of what she would name her child, when she would hum to her baby in the middle of the night. When she felt the first fluttering movement in her stomach, a feeling much like butterflies.

She was in a much better state of mind, and she knew it was because of the baby. This child was the reason she woke up in the morning. They were the reason she wanted to be alive.

She was ready to have this baby. She was ready to be a mother.

A few months had passed, and the pregnancy was progressing further and further along.

They would been having a baby in a few months. A new life would be brought into the world. A life that they were to care for and protect.

Their little one would be there before they knew it.

Gill was looking forward to being a father. He was looking forward to raising this child- raising their child- with Clementine. He was looking forward to seeing the little baby grow up, to being called dad, to having a family of his own.

And having Clementine share the excitement made it so much better. The girl had been pulled from her depressed state, though she did have her days sometimes, she was doing better.

Any doubts he once had were gone; any worries had disappeared, dissolved and shifted into excitement and anticipation.

With a little one on the way, a thought played in the back of his head. A question he was nervous to ask. An important question that could change everything for him. He sighed, feeling it wasn't the time. So he kept his question to himself. With hopes that he would have the courage to ask it one day.

And hopes for a simple answer of "yes".

The first time her baby had kicked, Clementine was shocked. That moment the baby kicked, and Clementine gasped. It was a powerful little kick.

She hadn't expected that to happen. But it made things all the more real. Feeling her baby move. Feeling her baby kick.

She skimmed a palm over her stomach. She wished Molly was here. She wondered what the woman would say. How would she react seeing her swollen belly?

The girl didn't know if the woman would have been happy for her or upset, but regardless, she knew Molly would have been supportive. The woman always was. Clementine missed having her around. She felt like she'd never stop grieving.

The baby kicked again, drawing her out of her thoughts.

"You're active today." She gave a light chuckle.

The door opened and Gill stepped into the room. "Hey, Clem… How's it going?"

"Good. Your child is being active. Keeps kicking me." Clementine informed her boyfriend as he kissed her cheek.

"Really? Can I…?" Gill hesitated, waiting for permission to touch her stomach.

"You don't have to ask, Gill…" Clementine said. "Go ahead."

Gill smiled and placed his hand on her stomach.

A second passed and his eyes widened when he felt the baby kick.

"Wow… That's… amazing…" Gill smiled.

"We're going to be parents soon." Clementine said with a smile of her own.

"Yeah… We are." Gill said.

"I can't wait…" Clementine said.

"Me either." Gill agreed.

The appointments were anything but fun, but Clementine knew it would be worth it when she finally got to meet her little one and hold them in her arms.

Gill stuck by her side through each appointment. And Clementine appreciated him for doing so. He was the perfect boyfriend. She loved him.

Both of them had prepared for the baby's arrival, setting up a room in the house with the help of Gill's parents. They found clothes for the baby, bottles, toys, and other supplies.

They read through parenting books and Clementine began babysitting more and more often, trying to get used to childcare. She had watched the kids many times before, but she knew having a child fulltime would be a different story.

She was nervous but becoming increasing excited as the days went by. She just hoped she would be a good mother. She wanted to be the best mother she could be.

She wanted to give this child the best life she could in a world gone to help. Richmond was the perfect place to do that, to raise her kid to feel somewhat normal. They were safe within the walls; they could rest easy at night. And that was what she wanted for her baby.

She needed to be the best mother possible. She had to…

Throughout her pregnancy, Clementine often went to Christa or Kate for advice.

The two women, having both gone through their own pregnancies, were more than happy to help the girl.

And though Christa still complained about the girl being far too young to have a child, the woman did all she could to offer support.

They explained to her what was normal during the pregnancy. Helped her with remedies for morning sickness and abdominal pain. They talked her through what would happen during birthing, helped her practice breathing.

They helped her design the nursery at Gill's house, explaining what she needed for her little one's arrival.

They also provided her with hand-me-downs from their children.

Clementine appreciated their help. She appreciated the advice, she appreciated everything they did to help her.

Her nerves were eased thanks to her friends and family. She felt that she has a solid foundation, a solid support base. And because of this she knew that her baby was going to grow up just fine.

If it took a village to raise a child, Clementine knew she had absolutely nothing to worry about. Her family and friends were her village. And that was all she needed.

Her baby could be here any day now. The thought made her heart race a bit. She had such mixed feelings. She was ready to meet her little one.

"What should we name it?" Clementine asked her boyfriend.

"Hmm?" Gill looked to her.

"We should think of baby names." Clementine said. "The baby will be born soon."

"We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet…" Gill said.

"Not yet… But we should think of names anyway…" Clementine said.

"We've been thinking of names for months."

"Well, now we should official pick names." Clementine said.

"Okay... what do you want to name him or her?" Gill asked the girl.

"I was thinking Lee for a boy... Maybe Molly for a girl... I don't know..." Clementine said then gave a tiny shrug. "I thought it would be nice because…"

Gill noticed the girl trail off and frown. He spoke, "Hey... those are nice names. I like them."

"Thanks." Clementine gave a tiny smile. "What about you? Did you have any names?"

"For a girl... I was thinking Joy. Or... something that means joy... What do you think about Jubilee?" Gill said.

"That'd actually be kind of cute for a girl. I'm not opposed to it." Clementine said.

"We'll figure it out." Gill said.

"Soon?"

"Yeah. Soon." Gill said.

"I love you." Clementine said, kissing him.

"I love you too, Clem." Gill returned the kiss. He then broke it and said, "Come on, let's try to get some rest…"

"Okay…" Clementine nodded. "Night Gill."

"Sweet dreams, Clem."

Clementine flinched as she shot upright in bed, she winced bringing a hand to her stomach.

Gill stirred from her movement. His hand moved to gently cover one of hers. "What's wrong?" He asked in a sleepy voice. "Are you okay?"

"I… I'm fine…" She said, telling herself they were just Braxton Hicks. She had been having them for weeks now.

"Are you sure you're fine…?" Gill asked.

"Yeah…" Clementine said. "You can go back to sleep…"

"You should too." Gill said.

"I am…" Clementine said. She laid back down and tried to make herself comfortable. The girl closed her eyes, trying to drift back to sleep, but winced as she felt another twinge of pain.

She clenched her eyes shut and waited for it to pass.

This couldn't be happening now… It couldn't.

"Oh no…"

"Clem?" Gill muttered. "What's the matter?"

"I—I think I'm having contractions." Clementine said.

Gill flinched at that, now wide away. "You're what?"

"Contractions… I think I'm having—" The girl clutched her eyes close, whimpering a bit as another sudden pain ripped through her.

"Shit… Oh fuck… I- It's too early… You still have a few weeks left." Gill said.

"I think that's up to the baby, Gill…" Clementine gritted out.

"Fuck… I'll- I'll get mom and dad. Wait here!" Gill said.

As he got up from the bed, Clementine suddenly grabbed his hand. He noticed the look of fear in her eyes.

"Hey… It's gonna be okay… You're gonna be okay…" Gill reassured her. "I'll be right back."

He gave her a soft kiss and she slowly eased her grip. Gill rushed out to alert his parents of what was going on.

He couldn't believe this was happening. His girlfriend was actually in labor. Their baby was on the way.

The teen's water had broken on the way to the hospital and upon arriving she was quickly moved to a room at the speed of light and a hasty birth plan was put together.

Clementine clutches to Gill's hand, as her boyfriend does his best to comfort her.

"I'm scared…"

"You're gonna be okay… Just breathe…" Gill said.

Her contractions were becoming closer together, and hell were they strong.

Gill provided assurance and offered encouragement and positive affirmations every chance he could.

Clementine hated the pain she was feeling. She just wanted to push the baby out and to have it over with.

However, when one of the medics checked her progress and found she was only dilated at seven centimeters, she told the girl, "Sweetie, you can't push."

"Wh-Why? Why can't I push?" Clementine asked.

"Your… Your baby's head isn't where it needs to be yet. You have to wait…" The medic explained.

She never liked waiting. And waiting for something like this was excruciating. She just wanted this baby out of her.

To say she was terrified was an understatement. She wasn't sure how long this was going to go on. She felt exhausted; her contractions were on top of each other. Minutes flew by and became hours, but to Clementine it felt like years.

Dilating took a long period of time and Clementine was completely exhausted by the end of it. But eventually she had finally gone from seven centimeters to ten.

But when the sweat-drenched teen was finally told it's time to push she panicked a bit.

"I- I can't…" Clementine looked to Gill. "Gill, I can't do this…"

"Clem, you have to…" Gill held her hand tighter. "It's going to be okay…"

"It hurts…" Clementine sniffled.

"I know, Clem… I know…" Gill said. "You're going to be okay… I promise…"

Clementine took a deep breath and mumbled. "Okay…"

"Push…" Gill said.

The girl complied.

After each contraction, she would look to Gill for reassurance. She used the breathing techniques she learned from Christa and Kate to push as effectively as possible.

She continued pushing for probably another hour, Gill right by her side, watching their baby entering the world.

When she finally felt the baby come out, she was both surprised and relieved.

The medic announced the gender, tending to the crying child.

A boy. A little boy… She had a son…

One of the medics gently placed the tiny baby against her chest.

At that moment, everything she had been through finally made sense.

Gill was nearby, crying tears of joy as he looked down at his baby boy.

"Welcome to the world, baby boy…" Clementine whispered to her child.

"What do you want to name him?" The medic asked the young parents.

"Lee…" Gill said.

Clementine nodded in agreement. "Lee… His name is Lee…"

And just like that, things had changed. And Clementine once again knew, she had a reason to live… Someone to live for. Someone to protect. Someone to love forever…
