"That's cheating!" Ginny yelled as a snowball hit her neatly in the face. The red and gold scarf around her neck caught most of the snow. She turned and looked at where the snowball had come from. Sirius was standing there pretending to look innocent. Ginny felt a smile spread across her face. This was the first winter she and Sirius were celebrating as a couple. It was also the first winter Ginny was experiencing as an adult. She was glad she'd waited, glad Sirius had waited for her, and mostly glad they were spending time together. Even if Sirius had decided to cheat in their snowball fight.

"Is not," Sirius laughed. "There's no rule against enchanting the snowballs," he added, giving her a wide grin. She rolled her eyes trying not to laugh. She recognized the spell almost instantly. She also knew exactly where Sirius had most likely learned it. Of course, he might have known it on his own, it was the kind of thing the Marauders would do, enchant snowballs to hit people.

"Which one of my brothers taught you that spell anyway?" she asked, summoning a large mound of snow. If Sirius was going to cheat, well, two could play at that game.

"Does it matter?"

"It does, because I need to know who to thank for it," she replied, waving her wand and causing the mound to hover into the air. Sirius' eyes widened as it headed straight for him.

"Gred," he yelled. Ginny only laughed louder.

"You can't even tell them apart, can you?" she asked. Sirius shook his head quickly.

"They're both..."

"I know, I'm kidding Padfoot," she laughed, dropping the snow. It fell around him, except in a small circle where he was standing. He stared at Ginny, as if unable to believe she'd missed the perfect dump.

"You missed!"

"Maybe," Ginny teased. "or maybe I wanted you trapped in my snow tornado!" she exclaimed as the snow started swirling around Sirius, rising up from the ground in a cylindarical shape. He yelped, falling backwards through it. Ginny darted over, almost grabbing his hand before he fell backwards into the snow. She didn't quite reach him though. Sirius looked up at her, a smile on his face as he reached up a hand towards her. She grabbed it. He yanked her down into the snow next to him.

"Want to make snow angels, Red?" he asked. Ginny giggled, waving her arms above her head.

"Not sure I'd call yours an angel," she laughed, rolling against him and wrapping her arms around him. He kissed her forehead.

"True, true, there was this one time, James and I, well, it was winter and Snivilus-"

"If Hermione hears you calling him that again, she's going do worse than some enchanted snowballs," Ginny warned. Sirius only laughed.

"True, anyway, we decided it would be funny to make him into a snowman. We almost had finished when Remus came around and yelled at us for nearly freezing him to death, granted, he was right and we were being stupid..."

"Not a bad idea though, c'mon. I think I saw Ron in the backyard," Ginny yelled, jumping to her feet and pulling Sirius with her.

"This is exactly why I love you, Red, you're just like me," Sirius laughed, giving Ginny a quick kiss. She returned it, her brown eyes sparkling with mischief.

"True, I just wish I could have met your friends, I think we'd all have gotten along wonderfully," she added, summoning another mound of snow, ready to turn her most annoying brother into a living snowman.
