Ch.55

"Rise and shine, sleeping beauty. It's your turn now." I hear someone talking to me as I wake up groggy. When I look up, Merle is grinning at me as he drags me out of the car with ease.

I still feel a bit woozy as I blink the sleep away and my head hurts. I think Merle said something else to me, but I couldn't understand it very well. The next thing I know, I'm being carried back to our torture chamber.

"Damn, you're a lot more cooperative when you're knocked out. Here you go gov." Merle says sitting me down in the chair. I faintly hear Maggie calling to me, but it doesn't register.

My head still hurts like someone ran me over. 'I don't know who that could be.' I think to myself. "Ah. I see you went straight for the binds." the other man says eying me up and down. "Hells yeah, I did. I ain't dealing with that shit again." Merle scoffs shaking his head at me.

"What happened to her face?" the governor asks gesturing to the cut on my temple and dried blood running down my face. "The bitch bit me! So I smacked her real good across the face. Knocked her out cold. Maybe next time she'll think before she acts." Merle states showing the bite marks on his fingers.

"Hm. Maybe you shouldn't be placing your fingers near her face. Now that I know what will happen, I'll keep that in mind." the governor says sarcastically to his buddy and sighing at his normal behavior to women.

"Now go. Take this one here with you. And don't touch her unless you want the same thing to happen to you again. Or worse." the governor commands pointing at Maggie. "Sorry, governor. I'll be seing you later." Merle says acting like a dog that's been caught doing something bad.

Merle leaves cursing something under his breath as he drags Maggie away. I continue staring at the door when the governor walks over to me and rips the tape off my mouth. I yelp in pain at the sting that still lingers.

Now, let's continue our little talk, shall we? " the governor asks sitting down on the edge of the table with a smirk on his face. "And I'm sorry for whatever might have happened to you. It was uncalled for." he says apologizing on behalf of Merle.

"So, Mr. Bossman, what is it you want with us? Why are you still being nice to me?" I question out of curiosity while glaring at him so close to me. He lets out a chuckle at my attitude. I hate that smile that he always shows me.

I don't trust this man one bit. "Well, because that's who I am. And I want you to feel welcome here...that is if you decide to stay." he says staring directly into my face."Where is 'here'? And like I'd ever volunteer to stay here in this hellhole." I huff blowing the hair out of my face.

"Oh, come on. It's not that bad here. It's actually pretty great. Everybody loves it here, and I'm sure you will too." the governor laughs at my annoyance. "I highly doubt that." I correct him trying to flip my hair out of my face.

"Here, let me help." the governor says plucking my hair out of my face. "Don't touch me. You didn't answer my question anyways." I say pulling my face away from his hand. "This is Woodbury. I'm the governor of this place. Trust me, it's safe," he replies holding up his hands in response.

"How can I trust you when you kidnap us, hold us hostage, and torture us?" I spit trying to loosen the binds once again. To no luck, I only rub my hands more raw. Merle really made sure to get it as tight as he can.

"You see...I don't like having to do this, but sometimes it's necessary. Now I'm gonna ask you some questions and I want you to answer honestly. And remember, anything you try will hurt others." the governor says more seriously and lowering himself to look at me directly in the eyes. I swallow the lump in the back of my throat.

"For starters, what's your name, if I may ask?" the governor asks with that wicked smile. "I don't have to tell you, you..." I begin but get interrupted. "Ah-ha. You should think before you finish that sentence." the governor interrupts me before I could say anything else.

I pout at the governor in front of me as I remember what he said. He'll hurt Maggie if I act out. "How about this: a question for an answer. I'm sure you have plenty." he states coming to a compromise. I have to agree that seems fair.

"Now your first question." the governor states offering up his end of the deal. "Who are you really? All I know is that you're the governor of this place." I state raising my eyebrows at him.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to introduce myself properly. My name's Philip. I run this place. And you are...?" the governor introduces himself hoping to get my name out of it. I must come up with a name quick to satisfy his bargain. I don't want him to know my real name.

"Liza. My name is Liza." I answer keeping a straight face. "Hmm. Liza. That's pretty. What's it short for? Elizabeth?" the governor asks answering his own question and I look away as he guesses right."I thought so." he nods his head.

"So, Liza, would you like me to remove those restraints?" the governor asks pointing to my bindings. "Yes, thank you." I say politely. "So you can be polite. I appreciate your cooperation, but before I can untie you I have some questions that need to be answered." he states circling around me and touching both my shoulders.

"Okay. What's your questions." I say following the governor's movements. "You know Merle, right?" he asks and I nod my head. "And you also know his brother. right?" he asks and I nod again. "Interesting." he smiles at me.

"I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with anything?" I ask politely trying to not throw attitude. "Just curious. Just as you are." the governor states smiling at me again. He's so creepy when he stares at me like that.

"So you were with the group from the beginning?" the governor asks testing my knowledge. "Well, not exactly, but close enough." I say eyeing him wearily. I try to keep my answers short to not give away too much info.

"So they found you and let you join their group, huh? That was awful nice of them." the governor stares at me for an answer. I swallow the hard lump in my throat before I answer. "Um. Yes, sir." I answer trying to understand where he's coming from. He responds with a soft hum reverberating from his throat.

"So if I were to ask you to join us, would you?" the governor asks waiting for my response. "No." I scoff at him. He must be delirious asking for me to join him. "And why's that?" he asks for an answer still circling me. I don't know what he's getting at. He's acting strange like he knows something is up.

"Because...I don't trust you or this place! Plus you haven't shown us the greatest respect coming from a man who claims that he's just recruiting." I state standing up and turning to face the governor. This bastard's getting on my nerves. Out with it already.

"Wow. He was right. You are a feisty one. You got some spunk." the governor says laughing at my outburst. "He? Who's 'he'?" I ask curiously but get no answer. He just continues laughing as he stares me up and down. He's creeping me out now.

"I'm sorry for laughing, but...if we can continue, please. Where is your group located?" the governor asks getting straight to the point. "Somewhere far away." I tell him hoping he doesn't catch onto my bluff.

"Really now. And why would you people come all the way out here if you're that far away?" the governor asks me crossing his arms. "We were on a supply run. Other shops were already looted, so we venture farther out. Wouldn't you do the same?" I explain struggling to keep a poker face.

"Hm. You see, I think you're lying. Just like you're lying about your name." the governor says circling me again, but moving the chair out of the way this time. I stare at him in wonder as he moves the chair out from behind me. "Just like I know that your real name is Mae." he says softly in my ear.

I turn around in shock at the governor's declaration. "That's right. Merle told me everything about you. I just had to make sure you were the same girl." he places both hands on either side of me on the table.

"What do you want from me?" I softly ask while glaring at the governor at his closeness. "Honestly, the location of your group. But now, I feel like maybe having a little fun." he grins as the expression on my face changes to fear.

"What are you going to do with me?" I ask the governor, who brings his face closer to my cheek. "Just imagine. What can't I do." he smiles kissing my cheek and I turn away. I don't like where this is going.

"Merle said you and his brother were always so close. Still are, in fact, am I right?" the governor raises his eyebrows at me as he grins. "He will come for me. Just you wait." I state angrily raising my temper.

"Are you sure about that, love. Nobody is coming for you. You're stuck with me." the governor grins rubbing down my arm. "Don't touch me, you bastard!" I snap at him before turning around to not look at him.

"Just imagine his hands all around you like this." the governor says placing his hands on my hips. "I said back off!" I try to elbow him but he pushes me down on the table with my hands above my head. I can feel him start to get hard.

"Can you feel it? His warm hands caressing down your back to cup your butt." the governor continues grabbing my butt and I flinch. He flips me around and then gropes my chest. "Hey! Get off, you sick bastard! Daryl's gonna kill you!" I scream kneeing him close to the groin.

"On second thought, let's move this somewhere more private, shall we?" the governor grins as he kisses the edge of my lips. "Get up!" he growls dragging me out the door to some building that looks like a hotel.

"Let go of me! Where are you taking me?!" I cry out as the governor drags me up the stairs to the top floor. "To your new living quarters. I hope you're quite comfortable there." he grins dragging me along.

"Wait! What?! You can't keep me here!" I yell trying as hard as I can to break his grip. It's no use, though. His grip is too strong. This sick bastard has already thrown me in a room and locked the door behind him.

I am terrified now. It's like the CDC center all over again. Except Daryl's not just across the hall this time. He's nowhere in sight. I can't control my fear as I back away quickly. I can't seem to get these bindings loosened at all. I don't know what to do.

"Stay away from me!" I cry as the governor gets closer. I try to run around him, but he grabs me by the arm and throws me down roughly on the bed. I scream, kick, and thrash as he pins me to the bed.

"Easy there, sweetheart. You're safe here. Let's take those binds off, shall we?" the governor says while cutting the tape off my wrists. He made the wrong choice. As soon as my hands get free, I smack him in the face as hard as I can stunning him a little.

"Whoa. Definitely a fighter. But that's okay. I like that, too." the governor laughs again while holding my arms in place above my head. "Let's try something else." he says ripping my shirt open and using its scraps to tie my hands to the bed frame.

I scream as loud as I can as I struggle to break free. The more I struggle, the more hopeless I feel. "Please stop!" I scream as he finishes tying my hands to the board. "Daryl, please!" I scream in my head as I hear the sound of the belt dropping to the floor.

"It'll all be over with soon." the governor says removing his pants and shirt. Then he removes my shorts with ease before crawling on top of me. I close my eyes to keep from looking at him as he lifts up my bra.

My tears start to flow heavily. Then suddenly the governor kisses down my neck and gropes both my breasts. I let out a cry at his unwanted caresses as he fondles me. Soon I feel him prodding at my entrance and I beg him to stop.

"Now that's more like it. Beg from me. You look so innocent right now." the governor says as he pushes my panties to the side. At first he toys with me using his fingers, then he plunges himself deep in me.

My screams echo throughout the room as the governor pumps into me. There's nothing I can do now. All hope is lost. He forces his lips on mine as he gets closer to his climax. I feel him throbbing inside of me as I try to push him out.

"Yes, tighten yourself around me." the governor grins pumping faster. Soon he lets loose inside of me as he lets out a groan. "Thank you, my dear, for this lovely time." he stands up after catching his breath to return his clothes.

"You son of a bitch! You'll pay for this!" I scream at the top of my lungs as the warm liquid runs down my leg. "Oh, I highly doubt that. See you later. I promise." the governor says closing the door as he leaves and locking it from the outside.

I just lay there on the bed crying at my misfortune that nobody came to rescue me. After a while I cry myself to sleep. When I wake up, I struggle to untie my binds ripping them the rest of the way from the incident.

I cup my wrists as the feeling comes back to my hands. I quickly redress after I wash myself out as best as I could. Staring out the peephole, I see a man standing to the side of the door. That bastard must have stuck a guard at my door to keep me in.

I try turning the knob then remember that it's no use opening a locked door that's secured. I have no weapons. I go back to sit in a chair closest to the door and curl up waiting for my prince charming to come rescue me.
