"Heath, we're running out of fresh towels, has the delivery been yet?" Casey asks as he walks into the office.

"No, he's running late. He phoned about an hour ago saying he'd be an 20 minutes." Heath mutters, too focused on the laptop in front of him.

"Great, so he could be anywhere!" Casey moans. "What're you doing anyway?"

"Looking up the couples on the non-priority list." Heath says. "I don't get much time at home cause of the kids and I can't do it at yours cause I never know when Kyle's going to creep up on me with that dog of his."

"Well as long as you're going to do some work today." Casey says.

"I don't have a session till 11.30. I've got plenty of time."

"Yeah, 5 minutes is plenty of time." Casey rolls his eyes.

"Crap!" Heath says as he shoots out of his seat. "I didn't realise it was that late. If you go on the laptop, don't log me out." He says before rushing out of the office to set up for his session down on the beach, bumping into Brax and Kyle on the way out.

"Why's he in a rush?" Brax asks.

"He lost track of time, again!" Casey says. "And now I'm going to be behind on everything I've got to do because our towel delivery hasn't turned up."

"Right. Well we're heading into Yabbie Creek cause Kyle's got an appointment, so call if you need anything." Brax asks.

"An appointment for what?" Casey frowns.

"Just a check up with my counsellor on how I found my first week back home. The clinic like to do it to make sure we don't relapse in our long term recovery." Kyle replies.

"A week already? Feels like you only got home the other day!" Casey smiles.

"It feels like a lot longer to me." Kyle smiles. "Anyway, see you later."

"See ya." Casey says as they leave.

Looking at the counter in front of him, he decides to sort the upcoming rotas whilst he waited for the delivery to turn up. Heath had cut his hours down a bit to help with the new search for Lillie, meaning it was more for him to pick up for his and Denny's future travels. He couldn't help but smile at he thought about her, and knew he was lucky to have her.

"And who's put a smile like that on your face?" Someone from the opposite side of the counter says.

"Just my extremely gorgeous wife." He smiles at her.

"Lucky girl, who is she?"

"You haven't met her, but I'll be sure to introduce you soon." He smirks. "Anyway, I thought you were working this morning?"

"Turns out I got my days mixed up and I'm working tomorrow instead. I thought we could head into Yabbie Creek and check out that new Spanish restaurant that's just opened up." Denny says.

"Sure, that sounds great." Casey nods. "I go on break soon, why don't we go for lunch then do Yabbie Creek later?"

"Okay, but won't you be needed here?"

"We'd have to wait for Heath to finish his session on the beach first but then I'd be free." Casey says before thinking to himself. "Or I could just finish my shift early. It's pretty quiet this afternoon and I picked up more than enough hours this week to cover the loss."

"Mind if I hang out here in the meantime?" Denny asks.

"Why would I?" Casey smiles.

"Oh I don't know, you might see some hot girls to flirt with if I wasn't here." She lightly smirks as they walk into the office, knowing she could trust him with her life.

"Before you left the team at the canine centre, you said you were going to open up to your family about some things, have you been able to do that yet?" Beckie asks.

"I told Brax about that night he saved my life the day I got out." Kyle says, briefly glancing at the shut door as he knew Brax was waiting outside with Bruno to give them some space.

"And how did that go for you?"

"It went really well, I felt a lot better telling him about it." Kyle smiles.

"Well that's a great start. What about the other things you mentioned, your childhood for instance?" She asks.

"I haven't told them yet, I don't know if I can."

"And why do you think that?"

"Because it's in the past. And I know they would pity me because they never had to deal with anything like that." Kyle lightly shrugs.

"Do you really think they'd pity you?" Beckie asks, getting another shrug in reply.

"Dad abused them a bit but it was never as bad as I got from the homes staff, or by him when he decided to show his face. I don't want them to think of that every time something gets mentioned."

"You don't know that's going to happen. If you make it known that you don't want it to change their view on you, then that's a great way to prevent it from happening. They have some understanding of the abuse you went through, to know that none of it would have been your fault." Beckie says. "You always said you wanted them to know more about your life and it seems to me that you're the one who's stopping that from happening. If something did happen, you know that you can take control and let them know how you feel."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. They deserve to know, I know they do." Kyle lightly nods. "I'll tell them, at some point anyway. I think I'll just have to wait for the right moment, so I don't force it on them. I suppose they do need to know the truth."

"Just tell them when you're ready. You're in control of all of this." Beckie reminds him.

"Yeah, I am." Kyle nods, feeling ready to tell his family as soon as he thought was right but he wanted to do it quick, so hope it came to him sooner.

"Well on that note, I think that is the end of our session today." Beckie smiles.

"Do you think I need more counselling sessions often?" Kyle asks.

"Not unless you do?" She asks, getting a shake of the head in reply. "Compared to our first session together in the canine centre with Bruno, you've progressed so much. I could barely get two words out of you and now we've gone through a whole session with you taking the lead. I'd say this is great news and I don't think you need to come in for more sessions unless you feel the need to, which is when you must book a session in. You've got plenty of support if you're ever having a bad day and you've got our therapies to help you cope."

"I know, and thank you." Kyle says as he briefly glances down. "You've all helped me so much and I don't think I could have come this far without you all giving me a push."

"We wouldn't have had it any other way. And I know you'll be doing your family proud with the progress you've made over the months because you've done us proud. You've become a lot stronger and we know you can keep it up." Beckie smiles as they stand up.

"Thanks." Kyle smiles as he leaves the room, walking around the corner to see Brax playing with Bruno in the waiting room, a sight he never thought he'd see, it stopping as Bruno runs over to him.

"Hey, you ready to go now?" Brax says as he quickly stands up.

"Yeah, that was my last session." Kyle smiles as they walk towards the entrance. "Beckie agrees that I don't need anymore unless I feel like it."

"You've come a long way." Brax smiles, never having thought he'd have his brother back again.

"I know." Kyle nods.

"You know we're all proud of you for coming this far, being able to get through some stuff and come home." Brax says, eyeing up his ute in the car park.

"Yeah." Kyle nods, smiling more that Brax had admitted it to him. "Now let's go cause I'm hungry!" He laughs.
