Author's Note: This story started as a Family/Hurt & Comfort fiction and has had a number of genres added to it. I have been slowly building up the relationship between Hawks and Dabi and at reader request, am dedicating this chapter to them. I think it's a good point of the story to show how they are making it work. Especially after the insinuated "memorable gift" Dabi gave Keigo for his 17th birthday. I would say this chapter definitely has themes and scenes to fit the mature rating. I'll mark the beginning of the scene for those who don't want to read the details, but I'm not going to leave them out for those who want them.

Disclaimer: I don't own MHA or its characters. Original characters are mine but that's it. Story is rated for sensitive subject matter and content both mentioned and written. Includes but is not limited to child abuse, drugs, assault, rape, sexual themes, violence and more.

Chapter 55 - Jealousy

Stain was moving from city to city talking to those who would listen about the corruption and problems with hero society. Dabi followed him from city to city for a bit, working for different gangs and underworld villains as he did in Fukuoka. He was learning to be more calculating about what he did though. Not every situation was cause for him to use his quirk, which allowed him time to heal up for a bit between uses. Around the time Jin graduated and got his provisional license, Dabi managed to secure a steady work flow of deliveries and errands for Giran between Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Hosu City, and Kyoto. It allowed him to do private work, attend meetings to talk with Stain, and still be able to make a living working.

He'd secured a number of small one room apartments as safe houses and stocked them with first aid kits, medical supplies and bits of cash thanks to Soji. They had the minimum in them, a mattress or bed, non perishable foods, lanterns. They didn't really need a lot of electricity because it might be weeks or months between uses. So when Dabi wanted to catch up on the news, he used his phone. He would lay on a mattress or sit in a booth at a fast food place checking it. Occasionally he would lounge at the bar with Giran for the free meal and watch the TV above the bar. Of course Keigo sent him updates and pictures, and Dabi always read them or looked at them. He knew Keigo needed to focus on being Hawks just as Jin needed to focus on getting a sidekick job.

So he chatted with Jin, checked his phone for the news and worked himself to stay busy. Once a month, he and Keigo met up face to face. It wasn't perfect, but they made it their own time together. Uninterrupted because Aunt Zumi and Uncle Soji rocked, in Dabi's opinion. His emotions were always growing fond for the blonde, and it wasn't until he sat at Giran's bar, watching the news that a new emotion reared its ugly head. One that Dabi had no experience with. One that Dabi felt was not good. It didn't show up once, but twice, and Dabi didn't like it.

Hawks looked overwhelmed on TV. Dabi could see it because he knew every detail of that face, and how his wings responded to the hero's emotions. The base of both wings near his jacket were puffed up and the tips were shaking. Keigo was grinning as he shook hands with Endeavor, thanking the more experienced hero for the chance to help in the recent news report. His golden eyes were pinched at the corners, his handshake firm, but Dabi could see his disgust amidst whatever was setting him off as overwhelmed. Endeavor.

Dabi tightened his grip on the glass as his turquoise eyes glared at the TV. That bastard was shaking hands with Hawks as if it was all good. As if he hadn't just stood there burning mud to dirt. The look on his face was annoyed, like he didn't want to shake hands with the young man in front of him, but people were watching. He wasn't sure what angered him more about what he was seeing, the way Endeavor was acting, or the fact that Dabi was unable to shake hands with Hawks in public like that. That he had to watch as the man who had ruined his childhood was getting credit for standing there and brooding.

A loud crack brought him back to the here and now, as he looked down at his soaked hand to find he had broken his drinking glass. "Shit. I'm sorry man." He tried to help clean it up while apologizing to the bartender but the guy was swatting away Dabi's hands. "Don't apologize, seeing heroes on tv makes me mad too." The black haired flame user tilted his head. "All of them? Or just most heroes?" The bartender, named Isuchi, seemed to turn a bit red. "Well not all of them. Some of them look hot, and others are super cool. I mean that guy for instance, with the wings." Dabi nodded and filled in the name. "Hawks."

Nodding enthusiastically, Isuchi wiped up the spilt drink and replaced the glass. "Yeah, him. He seems legit." Dabi smirked and looked up to the tv noticing Hawks was gone and Endeavor was all over the screen. "Can we turn that off?" The young man nodded and shut off the tv as Dabi's phone dinged. It was from Keigo simply saying, 'Miss you'. A small smile broke on Dabi's face as the bartender refilled the glass. "Must be a nice text. Girlfriend?" Isuchi seemed curious, but Davi pocketed the phone. "No. Thanks for the refill and sorry about the glass." Grabbing the full glass, the flame user headed for Giran's booth to get a job to keep him busy.

The second time was a news story a couple weeks later. Jin had just sent a message telling Dabi about his new job and which hero he would be sidekicking with. There had been an invite for dinner with everyone that Dabi turned down, but he made sure to order a small gift and had it set to be delivered to Sion's apartment. Dabi was walking from the store where he had ordered a nice wallet for his friend when he saw the news report from earlier. It was late evening and the news told more gossip and rumor than actual true stories. A glance to the big screen on a store window had him pause as he saw Hawks being thanked by two girls for saving them from getting hit by a runaway car. His hands were in his pockets with his shoulders up a bit.

One girl was hanging on his arm while the second one had kissed his cheek and left a smudge of light lipstick. It was apparent the hero was trying to be polite, and it was not uncommon for fans or civilians to thank heroes that saved them. It made Davi so angry and hot under the collar he could smell his own smoke slipping from between his seams. He glared at the television as the reporter claimed Hawks was gaining fans and followers faster than most new heroes that debut at a young age. By the time Dabi was forced to try and calm himself down, he didn't want to suddenly erupt on the sidewalk, the news had changed.

Shoving his hands into his pockets, he walked with a slump in his shoulders down the street towards the small apartment he was using. He had a job lined up for tomorrow that would take him out of Fukuoka for a delivery. The plan was to spend a few nights with Keigo when he got back in a week. Glancing up at the sky, he wished he would see the red winged blonde flying around, but the sky remained dark and open. His phone dinged, and he pulled it out as he walked. It was from Hawks, asking how he was doing. Dabi narrowed his eyes, but his heartbeat was speeding up from the check in text message as he replied.

'Heading to my place for the night. Have that job in the morning. You?' He steered around a corner and kept walking, passed the door to his tiny one room apartment over the paper and magazine shop. He wanted to keep talking to Keigo. A ding and vibration showed the response. 'Watching a hot guy walk down the street. You think I should approach him? I am still learning about this attraction to guys instead of girls.' Dabi paused and frowned at that message. He tightened his grip on the phone as he stared at the message, until a follow up text came through. 'Aw, he stopped walking. I think he knows I'm watching him.'

Turquoise eyes darted around up near the rooftops of buildings as he looked for Keigo. A smirk on his face as his jealousy disappeared and he felt playfully happy for the first time in quite awhile. A flap of wings was all the warning he got before gloved hands covered his eyes from behind with a playful "Guess who?" A truly mysterious feat considering Dabi was taller than Hawks. The scarred teenager gently grabbed Hawk's wrists and smirked, not moving to pull away his hands. "A pretty bird who thinks he's a hero." The rustle of feathers was heard as Keigo blushed and moved his hands down. "I don't think I'm a hero. I have a license that says I am one." He grinned as Dabi turned around and Keigo let his golden eyes look over the dark haired teen.

Dabi also looked him over and paused at the sight of lipstick on Hawk's left cheek. It was smudged as if he had tried to wipe it away, but the kiss mark was still present. Narrowing his eyes, Dabi kept a hold of one of Hawk's wrists and frowned, eyes practically glowing with jealousy as wisps of smoke started to seep from the staples on his skin. The tilt of his head showed that Hawks was confused about this side of his friend. He'd never seen Dabi jealous before, and he wasn't sure what to do about it. Stepping close, Dabi traced the lipstick mark with hot fingertips. "You need to clean this up. My place is nearby if you want." Hawks grinned and leaned into Dabi's hand. "Sounds good. Didn't realize it would make you all bothered."

With a grunt, Dabi turned and kept a hold of Hawk's wrist as he walked towards the magazine stand he had passed, stepping into the alley to a narrow set of stairs that led up to various doors. Obviously it was a low income apartment situation, but Hawks was getting a bit concerned with how warm Dabi's hand was and the fact that he hadn't said too much to him. Dabi led them to one of the doors and unlocked it with a key. Flicking on a light, he let go of the blonde's wrist to straighten up a bit as Keigo looked around at the one room apartment. A corner had been turned into a kitchen, with a closet sized bathroom on the far wall. A thick bedroll was up against a wall with a radio on a stool as the only furniture in the whole room. It was private and tiny, but clean as Keigo peered at the mirror in the bathroom. He grumbled and managed to get all of the lipstick off before stepping into the main room. He looked around for Dabi and the taller teenager was in his personal space, arms on either side of the winged hero to block him in next to the bathroom doorway.

*Sexy scene coming up!

"Better. Now you don't have teeny bopper smudge on you." Keigo grinned. "Jealous?" Turquoise eyes bore into his own as he leaned down, noses barely touching and Keigo was aware of the heat coming off of the other. "Incredibly." That answer mixed with the look in his eyes had the younger teen going weak in his knees. He had hunted down Davi hoping to have some alone time before Dabi's job tomorrow. Having so many people all over him made Keigo miss the fire user's touch, his lips, his warmth. He went to lean forward and close the distance between their lips, but Dabi pulled away, keeping his hands on the wall, his foot stepped forward putting his knee between the beige covered legs and keeping Keigo from moving forward

"Ah ah. Just because you removed the lipstick doesn't mean I'm over it." Keigo's eyes widened in surprise as he stared at Dabi. He must have really been jealous of his fans. "You know I can't stop them unless they get super hands on. I'm not interested in them, you know that." Dabi leaned forward putting pressure with his knee between Keigo's legs. Just enough to make Keigo groan, his knees starting to shake from the close proximity. "Dabi-" he tried to speak again, but Dabi kissed him, hungrily, and Keigo grabbed his friend's shirt with both hands. He felt Dabi grip his waist with both hands, not letting the smaller teen get away as the blonde whimpered into the kiss.

When they came up for air, Dabi whispered quickly. "Show me how interested and I'll make you forget your fans." Keigo's golden eyes were intense as he looked into Dabi's beautiful blues. His slitted pupils were blown wide as he brought a hand up to remove his glasses and flick them to the side. His headphones pulled down before he was pushing Dabi's jacket down and off of his arms. It was a race to see who could get the other's jacket and shirt removed. Dabi simply ripping the haltertop of Keigo's compression suit and the blonde gasped into a heated kiss as Dabi allowed his hands to roam up the toned and muscular abs of the shorter teenager.

Gripping onto Dabi's tee shirt, Keigo pushed him backwards, forgetting that Dabi's knee was between his legs and they both tumbled onto the bedroll with Keigo on top, hands braced on either side of Dabi's head. The fire user smirked and moved his hand around to Keigo's back and gently gripped the base of each wing, causing the winged hero to gasp and drop his head into Dabi's neck. Bringing a leg up and around Keigo's waist, he pulled the blonde down on top of him as he rolled to pin him to the bedroll. He looked briefly at the hero beneath him and smirked. Keigo looked wrecked, his wings sprawled out from underneath his back, hair mussed up and pupils blown. His face was flushed and he was panting, gaze burning into Dabi.

The older teen trailed his fingers down Keigo's chest and paused every inch to trail kisses behind his fingertips. His cold tongue piercing on top of his warm tongue and the breath from his kisses caused Keigo to groan as he closed his eyes. Kissing his stomach and suddenly working in the double H belt Keigo had seemed to send a shock through Keigo's body and he tensed, eyes opening quickly as he stuttered. "D-Dabi I-" One finger gently pressed against Keigo's lips, silencing him as Dabi grinned widely at his friend. "Uh uh. No talking, birdy. I'm busy." With that, he deftly got the belt undone and popped the button and zipper on Keigo's aviator cargo pants.

Keigo's groans turned into chirps and gasps as Dabi opened his mouth and took him in quickly and deeply down into his throat. The gloves had been tossed off leaving Krigoa bare hands to struggle past his feathers and grip the bedroll as his head was swimming under Dabi's attention. Bobbing his head, Dabi looked up to see Keigo watching him with his eyelids half closed, panting in ecstasy as a series of chirps and trills left him. Dabi picked up his speed and the blonde arched his hips up, his back writhing and his head back, eyes closed. He was teetering on the edge the faster Dabi went, one hand gripping the bed as the other hand moved into Dabi's hair. Gently gripping the spiked black locks of hair, Keigo tried to as the pressure built up. "F-fuck Dabi I'm-I'm gonna come."

Dabi took him all the way down, his tongue swirling around Keigo's shaft as the winged hero lost himself with a final groan. Dabi gently gripped his hips and drank everything up, Keigo's wings were fluttering uncontrollably and his panting mixed with a soft cooing noise as he finally opened his eyes to look at Dabi. The black haired flame user was smirking in a very smug way. "How you feeling there?" Keigo smiled, his eyes tired as he started to come down from his euphoric high. "Damn. That was...damn." Dabi grinned wider as he crawled up carefully to lay next to the younger teen.

*Smexy scene done

Keigo sighed and curled into Dabi's arms, gently kissing his neck and chin. "Thank you." Dabi hm'd and lifted his chin as he held onto Keigo. "Next time you have fans trying to throw themselves at you, you better remember this." Keigo grinned, his wings coming around to cradle Dabi as he playfully nipped the older teen's collar bone. "Oh, I will. Damn, if I'd known this is what I would get when you get jealous I might never wash off lipstick again" Dabi growled playfully and poked at Keigo's side, getting a laugh as he squirmed and leaned into Dabi's arms. They both sighed and the room got quiet as they contented themselves with each other for company.

Dabi needed this before his job. He watched as Keigo smiled, shoulders relaxed and was slowly drifting to sleep. Being a hero was going to wear Keigo out, add stress to his life and Dabi wanted to be the one Keigo could rely on for that stress relief. He cared about the small blonde, more than he originally intended to when they were roommates at the Commission. Jin had encouraged Dabi to express his feelings and Dabi didn't regret it for one moment. Until times like this. When he knew he was going to be leaving for a week and Keigo would be on his own with fans touching him, which the winged hero was not used to, or throwing themselves at him when Dabi knew Keigo wasn't interested, but had to play nice as Winged Hero Hawks.

Keigo was chirping in his sleep, wings covering Dabi and himself like blankets as he moved a scarred hand to brush the feathery blonde locks from Keigo's face. Dabi was well and truly smitten with the handsome winged angel in his arms. He would do anything to keep him safe and all his own. Jealousy wasn't something Dabi liked, but this was a good way to handle his jealousy.

At least in his opinion.
