Chirpy had worked hard on her project before sighing. She had spent the past hour making a sculpture out of shards of glass. The sculpture is less than six inches tall and not completed. That doesn't mean she's been relaxing!
With a tilt of her head, she decided that a break was needed. She took off her protective copper gloves, removed her giggled, and took off her apron. She placed her protectant wear on the table beside her unfinished project. After that, she put her hands on her hips and looked at her progress.
It nearly made her twitch to remain a project unfinished. However, she knew if she were to invest herself into her project it would take all day. She would much rather come back to her project every now and then. That would allow her to not waste her entire day.
Chirpy turned her head to where she knew her girlfriend was. She shook her head at that. "Don't you have friends to be hanging out with?" She said with a smile, already knowing the answer.
Seraphina chuckled and shook her head. "Oh...I do, but I'd much rather be here." She said with a smirk as she kept herself comfy on a chair.
Chirpy tilted her head with a smile before making her way over. "I'm not going to fall over and die, or something. You know it is okay to leave every now and then?" She said as her smile grew at the blonde's clinginess.
"Yeah...but everything else is kind of boring." Seraphina said with a shake of her head.
"You've been saying that a lot since we've gotten together." Chirpy fired back with a smirk.
"What's wrong with telling the truth?" Seraphina asked with a smirk.
Chirpy giggled at that. "Nothing. I just don't want you to feel like you constantly have to be there for me. I can take care of myself, you know?" She said, throwing a few mock air punches.
"I know...That isn't the reason I'm hanging around. I'm doing it because I want to." The blonde said with a small shrug.
Chirpy shook her head with a chuckle. "Good thing I don't mind constant company." She leaned her back on the wall. "Since you're not doing it to protect me, well, I don't have to look into ways of sharing a room. I like the thought of having less on my to-do list." She said with a shrug before cleaning up a bit.
"Well…" Seraphina held out the word. "We could still do that room thing, you know." She said, wagging her eyebrows with a smirk.
Chirpy turned to look at her in a deadpan before smiling and getting back to cleaning. "Now I'm not so sure." She teased.
"Aw...Why not?" Seraphina asked with a pout.
Chirpy chuckled at the woman. "Because I like seeing you pout. It's cute." She said with a wink.
Seraphina pouted only more. "But...Wouldn't it be easier to do the room thing?" She asked while putting on her best puppy eyes.
Chirpy's electric green eyes met Seraphina's pink ones. "Alright. If you can give me three legit reasons, I'll change my mind again." She said as she sat in a chair beside Pinky.
Seraphina blinked. "...I'm a good cuddler, I have a built in warmer, and I'll make sure you have no nightmares." She said without hesitation.
Chirpy tilted her head at that before sighing. "Okay. We can do the room thing." She shook her head in amusement.
"I knew that would be a winning trio." Seraphina cheered with a wide smile.
Chirpy chuckled before placing a small kiss on Seraphina's cheek before saying, "I also wanted to ask if you could teach me how to use my wings." She looked at her warmly.
"Your wings?" Seraphina asked quizzically with a head tilt.
Chirpy nodded at her question. "Yeah. I have wings so...I need to learn how to fly." She looked at the woman.
"Huh...I thought you just...knew already like I did. Oops." Seraphina said with a smile and a shrug.
Chirpy shyly chuckled. "Apparently, I took after Ara when it came to flight. She had to learn. So do I." She explained.
Seraphina shrugged once more. "Yeah...I wouldn't know how to teach per say...but I could try." She said while scratching the back of her head.
"How about we give it both of our best shots?" She said with a determined smirk.
Seraphina nodded back with a smile. "Sure." She said, getting up to her feet.
Chirpy nodded and got up as well. "Something tells me she should do this outside?" She said before giggling.
"Probably...Not like we'd damage much inside since it's just flying." Seraphina replied with a chuckle.
Chirpy blinked as she imagined herself getting tangled in a chandelier. "...I don't do well with obstacles yet…" She blinked once more.
"Well...At least there is a ceiling in here...out there you just keep going up and up and uup." Seraphina said, holding out the last word while looking up.
Chirpy tilted her head before nodding. "Okay. We can do that." She said with a smile. "I would rather bump into things than fly off to who knows where."
"Yeah...It's sort of like dealing with a balloon. You can get a balloon down from the ceiling but once it hits the open sky...you either don't see it or it deflates and floats back down." Seraphina said before becoming distracted at the thought.
Chirpy replied happily. "Okay. Well...are we going to get started?"
Seraphina snapped out of her thoughts at that. "Oh...Yeah." She paused, appearing confused before shrugging. "Well...You have to summon your wings first." She said gesturing to her as she summoned her own sparkly pink wings.
The greenette nodded. "Of course." She chuckled before summoning her own glowing green wings. "What next?" She tilts her head.
Seraphina bit her lip. "Uh...Fly? I'm not sure what else to say since I usually just think about floating up and it happens." She said, obviously confused as to what to say as she flew up a bit.
Chirpy shrugged at her wording before closing her eyes. "You said to think about floating, right?" She asked her.
"Yeah…" Seraphina said with a small nod.
Chirpy took a moment to clear her thoughts before doing what the woman told her. After about thirty seconds, she began to levitate just the slightest.
"Huh...That advice actually worked." Seraphina muttered out in surprise, blinking a few times.
"Huh?" Chirpy said as her concentration broke. As soon as her eyes opened, her feet were back on the ground. She looked around before saying, "Oh, man. It didn't work." She said with a slight pout.
"It worked...a bit." Seraphina said from her place on a nearby wall.
"It did?" Chirpy asked before she grew a smile. "Huh..maybe I need more umph to go higher." She thought aloud.
"'Umph?'" Seraphina repeated the word with a head tilt.
Era looked at her before chuckling. "Yeah, umph. It's a catchy way of saying power or pizzazz." She said before closing her eyes.
"I know that...I was just wondering how you were gonna add more of it." Seraphina clarified with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh!" The greenette opened one eye. "I'm going to increase my focus and see if I can use the small amount of magic I have to aid me." She explained before closing her eye again.
"Oh...My sister should have probably given you a bit extra. Maybe I can ask Heidi…" Seraphina trailed off as she floated off the wall and onto the ceiling.
Chirpy tilted her head at that. "She can do that?" She questioned the blonde on the ceiling.
"Heidi steals magic power from the airheads, aka idiots like Zeusy, and either keeps it for herself or gives it to those who would benefit from it. Not like those guys don't gain it back." Seraphina said in a casual manner.
Chirpy taps her chin as she nods at that. "We can look into it. First things first, I want to at least see if I can levitate. I need to focus." She said pointedly at the chattery blonde.
"Oh...you want me to-" The blonde cut herself off before, quite literally, zipping her lips and blinking innocently.
Chirpy laughed at that and shook her head in amusement. Once she regained her composure, she began to focus again. As she invested her attention on floating thoughts, her feet rose off of the ground just the slightest. The more she focused, the higher she levitated.
She opened one eye and smiled, "This is so hard to do while talking...but it's a really good start for me." Chirpy struggled to keep her focus.
Seraphina said something, though clearly muffled by the fact that she had zipped her lips, and folded her arms as a sign that she gave up trying to speak at the moment.
Not seeing the comedic display on the ceiling, she continued to focus and apply her magic. "This is amazingly relaxing." She stated as she began to drift upwards.
Seraphina's eyes halved at that as she let out another sentence that was again muffled before groaning and letting her arms dangle in exasperation.
Chirpy kept continuing to rise up. Honestly, she was too deep in her zone to notice. She didn't notice until she bumped her head on the ceiling. "Ow…" She said as she rubbed her head.
She looked around to find herself touching the high ceilings of the temple. "I'm...touching the ceiling. I'm touching the ceiling!" She exclaimed happily before freezing when she looked down. "That is a long way down…" Her wings fluttered while she was about to panic.
Seraphina shrugged at that as she glided down, not minding the fact that she was still hanging upside down, before landing on the nearest soft area.
Chirpy looked down at her in surprise before saying, "Show off." then trying to follow her example.
She thought for a moment. If I have to think floating thought to go up, I should think descending thoughts to go down. She thought as she began her descent. She did this so lol the way until she was on the ground. "So...how was that...after you get the zipper off." She said with humour.
Seraphina shrugged once more before unzipping her mouth and making the zipper fade. "It was...great." She said with a smile, bouncing a bit in her seat.
Chirpy smiled brightly at her. "Really? I thought I did...kinda terrible." She chuckled.
"For your first time it was great. Long term? Might need a bit of work." Seraphina said, gesturing to the 'bit' part with her fingers.
"And you happen to be a great teacher." Chirpy turned to her with a smile.
"Really? I'm not...the teacher in the trio. I'm the...not to be taught one." Seraphina said with a small head tilt.
Chirpy tilted her head in surprise at the last part before shrugging. "Just to let you know you're going great." She went over and gave the blonde a peck on the lips.
Seraphina chuckled at that. "For a first time teacher." She said while pointing at herself.
Chirpy smirked and said, "I should be worried. A beginner teaching another beginner? It sounds like I'll be hitting my head a lot." She laughed a bit.
"Welllll...At least I'm the fun one. Terra is all about the books when she teaches. You hit your head with me...or get hit in the headwith Terra." Seraphina said with a small shrug.
Chirpy smiled nervously. "Yeah...I'll stay where I am." She folded her arms.
"Good idea, my sister only gives you the thickest of books. She must like the weight of them or something because she sometimes liked to use them to throw at us." Seraphina said in a casual manner.
Chirpy tilted her head with a blank expression. "...She does?" The greenette asked with concern.
"To be fair...Nix and I are thickheaded and like to ignore her." Seraphina replied with another shrug.
Chirpy blinked a couple of times...before nodding in agreement. "That is true…" She shook her head, successfully clearing it. "Shall we get back to practice?" She asked with a smile.
Seraphina hopped up and summoned her wings as she floated back up to the ceiling. "Yep. I'll just be chilling up here." She told the green-haired girl as she gave her a smile.
Chirpy returned her smile before she looked back at her own wings. "Alright. Trial number three!" She said with a giggle before trying to match the other woman's altitude.

Vetiver kept her mind focused as she went from place to place. She still had that major goal. She didn't intend on quitting either. The girl promised herself that she would repay Audrey and Heidi. That's what she's going to do. Nothing is getting in her way.
...Well, maybe the stampede of young adults did cause her to slow down. She didn't fully stop though!
The child looked down the hall where they ran off to. She could have sworn that she saw her father leading the pack. Usually when Hazel goes crazy, it's when pizza is involved. That made the girl curious...and hungry. Very...very hungry.
With that, she left after the group of young adults. She headed to the kitchen, already knowing where they were going to be. Pretty much everyone was gathered there. She could only point out a couple that were absent for whatever was going on.
JR was one of the first ones to speak. "Can we get a meat lovers over here? The king of all pizzas?" He said with a smirk.
Triple G blinked before saying, "What about a pepperoni one?" He shrugged as everyone nodded.
Susanoo, who was currently floating above them on a cloud along with Hermes, scribbled the two suggestions down along with a few others he thought up. Looking down at them, he tapped the pen against the notepad. "Any other suggestions?" He asked rather loudly so they could all hear him.
Audrey ran in at that while she held a Nintendo Switch that she was currently decorating with pink and red gems. "Ooh! Dessert Pizza!" She announced with a grin.
While Susanoo blinked in confusion, Hermes nodded with a grin and gave her a thumbs up. "I know just the place! I'll get it to your room!" He said as Audrey grinned back and ran out of the room.
"O...kay. Anything else we want?" Susanoo asked again, looking at the group below him as his confusion faded.
Hazel spoke up while holding up her fingers. "I want a stuffed crust double sausage pizza, a tomato pie, two calzones, one quatro formaggi, and one Hawaiian...with extra pineapples." She finished with a shy smile.
Freddie's eyes slowly turned to Hazel as she inhaled sharply. "Pine...apples…" She raised her eyebrow in disgust.
Hazel turned to her with mild annoyance. "Freddie, don't you start. You musn't forget who won the pineapple vs pepper war last year." She replied with pride.
Freddie rolled her eyes. "Oh, big whoop. The only reason you won is because Elsa walked in and ruined everything." She said in annoyance. Elsa was right behind her.
"You know I'm right behind you?" She smirked as Freddie smiled in guilt. "I had a right to ruin everything. There were pineapples on the ceiling and peppers in the ventilation system by the time you all were finished." She turned her gaze to Susanoo and said, "Right after my daughters gigantic order, add a blanca to that order." Her smirk grew as Hazel looked a bit insulted.
Susanoo nodded as he jotted down the order as he noticed Hermes subtly leave and return within seconds. "Anything else? Desserts? Hermes is the one getting everything here." Susanoo said, jabbing his thumb at the grinning god.
Deuce raised an eyebrow as he rubbed his furry chin. "Desserts? Bring back...a blackberry cobbler. Oh! And don't forget garlic knots for the pizzas. Marinara sauce would suffice. Thanks, man." He said with a wave.
Susanoo wrote that down and looked at everybody else. "We got one dessert, anybody else want anything specific? Doesn't matter what you want he can get it." He said while gesturing to Hermes.
Uma stretched before saying, "Orange sherbet." Then reclined in her chair.
"Banana split!" Freddie called.
Triple G hurriedly waved. "Mint chocolate milkshake!"
"Sugar cookies!" CJ said after him.
Ara giggled before saying, "Chocolate truffles!"
Hazel and Elsa both sighed at that. Elsa chuckled. "Good choice." She smiled at her daughter.
Vetiver smiled at the opportunity. "Cotton candy!" She jumped up. "And can I get two for a friend?"
Hermes, who had been given the notepad once Susanoo noticed the speed at which they were calling out desserts, rapidly wrote it down and looked up. "Anything else? Going once…" He looked around, holding up one finger. "Going twice…" He allowed for a dramatic pause in case anybody wanted to throw anything else at him.
The rest of them looked around at each other. Their eyes all stopped on JR and George. They both have been silent throughout the entire dessert exchange.
George blinked before saying, "I'm okay."
JR nodded at that. "Yeah. I'm good too. I had something sweet earlier. Now, I just want food!" He said with a chuckle.
Hermes scanned the crowd before smirking. "Twiiiice and a half! Looking at a specific feline on the phone!" He announced loudly, holding out the words 'twice' and 'half' as Susanoo looked at him as if to say. "Just skip him, dude."
Elsa smirked before taking the opportunity to throw a snowball at the distracted cat.
Chester shook his head upon impact and swiftly wiped the chilled snow off of his head. He looked around as if he had been absent the whole time. "What?" He asked everyone. Then, his mind caught up with him. "Oh! Uhh...cheese pizza and a rootbeer float." He shyly smiled before shaking snow remnants off of his hat.
"Aaaaand sold!" Hermes said as he got that down before pointing the pen at the cat. "Word to the wise, don't bring the phone into the room when somebody is offering you free food." He laughed and pocketed the list. "Even Athena knows that." He told the cat before zipping away in a golden flash.
Chester gained a half eyed expression while everyone else began to socialize. "I'll...keep that in mind…" He said, still trying to remove snowflakes from his hat.
Terra, who hadn't been in the room earlier, walked in and looked at Hazel with halved eyes. "Hermes came by...asked me if I wanted some pizza. I asked what you were getting and…" She trailed off with a small smirk on her face.
Hazel looked at her before folding her arms. "I...uh...have a...pie addiction…" She spoke slowly to avoid stuttering.
Terra slowly nodded. "Uh...huh." She said, her eyes halving even more somehow. "I'm just glad Hermes swung by to ask me, otherwise I would have missed the party." She told the girl with a chuckle as she shook her head.
Hazel chuckled also. "Yeah. That would have been an...absolute shame…" She inwardly throws a fit at the situation Hermes put her in.
"No kidding. Thankfully, Hermes told me where to go to come to the party. Not to mention he even offered to get me some good ice cream." Terra said, her smirk turning bright at the thought.
Hazel's fake smile wavered at that. "And you can't argue with ice cream…" She chuckled in agreement as she felt her ears start to heat up.
"Nope. He said he knows a place with the best chocolate ice cream." Terra said with a smile as she noticed food start to appear within seconds on the nearest surface. "Plus...He said he also asked Mercury to help out with getting all the food here. So it's all super fast."
Hazel made a face of pure agony before she regained her fake smile. "Mercury? Heh-that's great! Really...great…" She waved over to her sibling. "Mercury's here!" She said, hiding her dryness.
Ara, who was more open about her feelings, said, "Oh no." In a deadpan.
Susanoo, who happened to overhear this, grinned. "Now it's a party." He said as a shake of some sort appeared in his hand along with a pizza next to him on his cloud.
As soon as he said that, a silver streak flew by before settling beside Ara. "My Mercury senses are tingling. Someone talking about me?" He said with a chuckle as Ara tried to escape.
Once Hermes had gotten all the food in, the god sat down next to a grinning Susanoo. "I believe they were just discussing how this party is made better when you attend." The blonde haired god said as he took a slice of pizza that the trickster god next to him offered.
Susanoo nodded in agreement. "We make parties better." He said, gesturing to Hermes, himself, and Mercury as he ate a slice of pizza.
Mercury was about to say something before he spotted Ara sneaking off. He brought her back with unimaginable speed before saying, "I fully approve of that message." He said before turning to Susanoo. "And Susanoo! It has been too long. How are you even here? I am pretty sure you are on Dad's zap on sight list." He smirked while Ara looked around in a deadpan.
"Yeah...and JuJu is on my sister's smite on sight list." Susanoo replied with a smirk. "My sis doesn't kid around when I'm involved, so I guess he just learned his place."
Mercury chuckled at that. "You two scared him away, huh? Hmm…" He thought, already putting together the pieces. "That means I can stop by more often! Dad said that he doesn't like me 'hovering around'. She's okay with it though." He jabbed his thumb at Elsa.
Elsa nodded as she grabbed a soda. "Yep. I'm fine with it." She said casually.
Susanoo shrugged at that. "JuJu is just stuffy, so stuffy that my sister even got a bit ticked off with him. Not enough to turn him to a pile of ash or anything...but enough to all but promise his demise if he upset her again." He said as he sipped at his shake.
Mercury raised an eyebrow before shaking his head. "Yowza! Remind me to never get on your bad side!" Then he turned his gaze to Ara before asking, "And she didn't cause too much trouble, did she?" He asked as Ara cut her eyes at him.
"Ara? Nah, she's all good." Susanoo replied while waving his hand as he pulled out his phone.
"Good. I would hate for my little Guppy to get in trouble…" He said in his best baby voice.
Ara's expression hardened with annoyance. "Everytime...every time! I told you not to call me that." She said messaging her temples.
Mercury chuckled at that. "But it's sooo cute! Not to mention it gets the best reactions out of you!"
Ara looked at him dryly before grabbing a pizza box and whacking him with it. Constantly…
Mercury, who was laughing at this point, said, "Alright! I'll stop...for now!"
Ara looked him over one more time before hitting him with the box once more. "Good." She said as a smile subconsciously made its way to her face.
Susanoo, who had made a call during the entire interaction, pocketed his phone as he looked at Hermes. "Turns out...My sister is a bit of a pizza fan. Told her I was eating some and said it was free and…"
Hermes immediately knew where this was going and put on some shades along with Susanoo. "Huh, that's a new one. I would have thought that someone like her would have a...I dunno, more refined taste?" He asked casually as he went back to eating his pizza.
"Pizza screams Earth and and she loves Earth." Susanoo said simply as he went for another slice.
Deuce shook his head at that. "Aww naw. Yall cover your eyes or you will be blind!" He said to the group. More specifically, the ones who couldn't handle bright light.
"Noooo! Not her! Anyone but her!" Triple G ran in circles twice before saying, "Geo! Hand me my emergency blindfold!" He exclaimed.
George blankly looked at the other man before snapping, making a red blind fold appear.
Trip sighed before tying it over his eyes. "Now I'm good…" He sighed with a thumbs up.
Susanoo casually looked as his sister appeared in a bright flash. "You came fast." He commented while taking a bite of his pizza.
Amaterasu looked at him with a smirk as she pushed most of her hair to her back. "Even I can't resist free food." She said calmly as she made a drink appear in her hand.
"If she can just make it appear then why…" Hermes trailed off once he saw Susanoo's head shake. "...This is one of those things I don't question, isn't it?"
Susanoo nodded. "Don't even think about it." He said while taking a sip of his shake.
"Bruh…" Freddie started. "I closed my eyes and I got blinded through my eyelids!" She said, rubbing her eyes.
Ara, who was constantly blinking, said, "I wasn't ready…"
JR wobbled a bit before saying, "I don't think any of us were ready. So this is what being blind feels like…" He said with thought.
Deuce shook his head. "I tried to warn ya…" He shook his head once more.
Amaterasu shook her head in amusement as she waved away their blindness. "My apologies." She said simply, going for a slice a pizza that her brother was offering her.
Ara shook her head. "No problem. I guess it's something we're going to have to...get used to?" She said, sounding more like a question.
Freddie frowned at that. "You can do that. I'm going to get some magnifying glass thick sunglasses. This ain't happening again. My pupils felt like toast! Burnt toast!" She said with a wince.
JR tilted his head. "Huh...that's what toast feels like?" He asked himself with thought.
Amaterasu chuckled, waving her hand and creating rather simple looking sunglasses and floating them to everyone. "Hopefully this won't happen in the future, I would hate for you to keep seeing me as the cause of your blindness." She said in a joking manner as she sipped at her alcohol.
Triple G, who was blindfolded, looked down at the glasses in his hand. "...What are these?"
George looked at him dryly before answering, "Sunglasses." He answered plainly.
"Oh." Triple G smiled before putting them on...upside down due to his lack of eye sight.
"Amaterasu gave them to us." George finished.
Triple G froze before he visibly shivered. "Waaah! Off! Off! Getemoffgetemoffgetemoffgetemoffgetemoff!" He said before blindly running around in circles.
Hazel placed a calzone in her mouth before pausing to look at him. Then she shrugged, bit the calzone, and grabbed her eleventh slice of pizza.
Susanoo boredly ate a slice of pizza. "Sis, I think you broke him. Can you reset them or...turn em off and back on?" He asked, lazily pointing at the circling boy as Hermes snickered.
Amaterasu looked at him with halved eyes. "He's a human, not a computer." She deadpanned, prompting her brother to lazily shrug.
Triple G was practically speaking gibberish at this point. Mercury smiled, clearly entertained. "You have to admit, the kid really knows how to run!" He said, prompting Elsa to facepalm.
"He does have a point." Hermes commented as Susanoo nodded in agreement.
Amaterasu shook her head in exasperation at the three tricksters. "Is there anyone who can calm him down?" She asked, setting her drink down with a soft sigh.
CJ sighed heavily before saying, "I'll keep him from running into...hard stuff. Someone get Nike." She said, walking into Trip's line of panic.
As if he could sense someone in his way, he stopped. "Who are you!? Boy or girl!? Short? Tall? Favorite color!?"
"Don't make me knock you out." CJ deadpanned.
"CJ!" He exclaimed before nearly squeezing the life out of her with a massive bear hug...before talking her ears off in a panicked gibberish.
CJ, who was effectively getting squished, wheezed. "Whatever works...hurry up!" She took some strained breaths.
Susanoo looked around. "So...Who knows where this Nike chick is?" He asked with a head tilt as Amaterasu facepalmed at his question.
Uma, who had a raised eyebrow for the longest, said, "Uhh...she usually chills in the game room." She blinked, still with her eyebrow high.
Susanoo blinked back. "...Is somebody gonna get her?" He asked, making sure to show that he was not gonna be the one to retrieve her.
George's eyes halved before he promptly disappeared.
Hazel, still not wanting to be any part of this, licked some sauce off of her lip before working on the garlic knots.
After a couple minutes of gibberish, George returned with Nike. He still wore his exasperated expression.
Nike looked at the scene around her before blinking at the sight of Trip. "...What happened to him?" She asked in surprise.
Susanoo flopped on the cloud at her question. "My sister broke him." He said while Amaterasu shook her head in irritation at his answer.
"Oh…" Nike said, looking over to the older goddess before promptly grabbing the panicking Trip and holding him. "Hey...you're alright." She whispered with a smile, using her wings to hug him a bit.
Triple G stopped trembling just the slightest before saying, "N-Nike? Is that you...or my mind is toying with me again…" He said the last part blankly.
Nike chuckled at that as she picked him up with ease. "It's me. I was gonna head back to the gaming room, wanna join me and I can have Hermes bring whatever you didn't eat before you...nevermind." She said before gesturing for Hermes to get up.
Trip gave a small smile. "Yeah...I think I've had enough (cough) partying for now." He said, feeling another cold coming on.
Nike nodded at that before she began walking out of the room. "Hermes?" She called out to the god who was still sitting. She looked back at him and her eyes halved once she saw him trying to finish a massive slice of pizza. "Would you get up?"
Hermes stopped mid bite before finishing it as fast as possible. "I'm up!" He said before going about collecting all of Trip's stuff before he followed the winged goddess.
Ara looked on in exasperation. "Hopefully there is not a way for this to get even more embarrassing…" She said to herself before catching sight of her silent sibling.
Hazel slurped her slice of pizza like a noodle before chomping away at the crust, finishing it in record time. Then, she took her final calzone and used her finger to stuff the whole thing in her mouth. She happily chewed before moving onto the bread knots. She happily ate them one after the other before freezing at all the eyes that were watching her.
Ara facepalmed, "Aaaand…I spoke too soon."
Terra shook her head at the sight. "...You know, I think I know why you are such a huge kitty." She said before smirking at her.
Hazel tore her eyes from everyone else before looking at Terra in annoyance. "Are you saying I'm fat!?" She asked as Vetiver chickled a bit.
"...Fluffy." Terra said simply as her smirk widened.
Hazel squinted her eyes at her. "I think you mean more than fluff!" She accused, not able to resist a lone pepperoni that had fallen on her plate and quickly ate it.
Terra chuckled and reached to ruffle Hazel's hair. "I rest my case, fluffy." She said, placing a kiss on the girl's cheek.
Hazel furiously blushed at that before stuttering, "I-I-I-I-I am not fluff...I-I-" She rested her head on the table. "...Stupid pie addiction…" She mumbled.
Ara put on a fake smile before asking. "Anyone else want to ruin our reputation?" She said in a strangely nice tone.
CJ coughed from the floor. "My bones are too broken…" She called before coughing again.
Uma looked at her with the 'she'll be fine' face and said, "Nah. I'm good." She said as JR shrugged and George blinked.
Freddie nodded before biting her dessert. "Now I see why that producer wanted us to star in his reality TV show. With all these clowns in our circus, we'd make a fortune." She said with humour.
Susanoo shrugged. "You'd probably get prime time if you had something like that all the time." He said, referring to the freak attack that Trip had. "Reality TV, they either love drama or embarrassing situations." He told them while smirking.
JR chuckled before smiling. "Those two things? Us as a group have enough for the whole globe!"
"You'd just have to find somebody dumb enough to pay for it...Like either somebody with way too much money...or the person who made the reality show about Olympus real for a week." Susanoo said with a chuckle.
Before he could respond, Uma threw a pizza crust at him. "Too bad we don't want to do a reality TV show, right, JR?" She raised an eyebrow before texting Kam.
JR rubbed the spot of his head where the pizza crust hit. "What? A TV show wouldn't be a bad idea. I wouldn't mind constantly looking at myself over and over again." he said proudly.
"Not to mention you'd all get paid very well. The guy that did the Olympus gig...it was Hermes who was being funded by Hades. All Hermes had to do...show the world how big of an idiot Zeus is." Susanoo said in a casual manner. "Get yourself a God of Wealth and you are pretty much set."
JR nodded as he rubbed his chin. "I'll keep that in mind…" He said with thought.
Uma murmured, "No we won't…" She grumbled silently.
"Don't dismiss it~A week of embarrassment is worth the billions a wealth god would throw at you. Those wealth gods don't know what to do with all that money...because they don't need it!" Susanoo chuckled and shook his head.
Deuce tilted his head. "If I had that kinda money, I would never work again...he would though." He said, pointing to his reading sibling.
Chester looked up with a deadpan. "Unlike someone, I find my work enjoyable!" He said with a huff before getting back to work.
Amaterasu, who had been silent for awhile, tilted her head at them. "...You do know that Heidi is a wealth goddess, correct?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Deuce blinked before saying, "Nope! I had no clue." He shook his head.
Uma leaned back in her seat. "I barely met her, to be honest."
Ara nodded before saying, "I know...sorta…" She shrugged before grabbing a drink.
Amaterasu nodded a bit. "Well...I do know she texted me the latest shopping craze she was dragged on. Over fifty thousand at the…" She pulled out her phone to look at it. "Apple Store. Now she claims that she's somehow already over forty thousand at an Ikea." She told them before looking up.
"Eh. If you've got the money, then why not?" Chester said with a shrug as he turned a page.
Hazel tilted her head. "That's quite a bit of money. What would you guys buy with it?" She asked with interest.
CJ blinked before smiling. "Probably buy my own theme park." She sighed.
JR smirked as he thought about himself being buried in gold.
Deuce chuckled for a second. "I'd get a car customized so that I can reach the gas pedal!" Then Deuce turned back to Hazel. "What would you get?"
"Lots and lots of pizzas…" She said with a sigh while the rest of the group gave her a deadpan stare.
"That would only make you fluffier." Terra said casually with a chuckle.
George blinked before tapping his chin in thought. "Panda." He stated plainly.
Chester raised an eyebrow at that. "You'd want to get a panda? Why?" He looked at him, completely baffled.
George blinked at him. "Because I like Pandas." He answered while Chester looked beyond exasperated at this point.
Susanoo looked at him. "I could totally get you a panda." He said while his sister facepalmed at his bored expression and comment.
George looked towards him with a small smile. "That would be the greatest early birthday present." He said happily despite his neutral tone.
Floating over to his exasperated sister, Susanoo poked her on the shoulder. "Hey...We need to go get this man a panda." He said while Amaterasu's eyes halved.
"...Why?" Amaterasu asked simply, making her glass refill with alcohol as she rubbed her forehead.
"...Because, I want to go find a panda? I'm bored, JuJu ran away, and you won't let me go bother Zeus since you wiped his memory!" Susanoo said while flopping on his cloud. "Let's go hunt down a panda!"
Amaterasu looked at him with halved eyes before looking at everyone else. "Does anyone have anything they need from my bored brother before he drags me to go find a panda?" She asked in a deadpan, downing her drink in one go as she let out a deep sigh.
Vetiver took a moment before waving her hand. For a moment there, she forgot about her priorities. She walked forward. "I do! It's about my mom." She said before she stopped before them.
While Amaterasu took care of her glass, Susanoo sat up and stared down at her. "...Which one is the mother again? Sorry, Heidi didn't fill me in on that part. Just the part where her wife has a serious sugar addiction." He said as he maneuvered and laid on his stomach.
The rest of the group looked dry at that. Even Mercury, who had been filled in earlier via text messages, shared their expression.
Vetiver blinked before answering, "Audrey."
Susanoo raised an eyebrow at that. "What about her? I don't exactly know her aside from what Heidi has told me. Even then after all, and she told me a lot, I still don't really know her, so…" He trailed off while tilting his head.
Vetiver fought the urge to facepalm before saying, "Audrey is my mom. I need your help getting an appreciation gift for her. I would like a necklace made from red and pink pearls if you are willing to help me." She explained, being sure to be more specific this time.
Susanoo was silent for a bit before he slowly smiled and turned his head to look at his sister. Amaterasu, who must have picked up on something before anybody else, quickly held up her hand. "No. No. You know how I am with water. Susanoo, you are not dragging me down there with you!" She said while folding her arms.
"...So you want to handle panda duty while I am on the pearls?" Susanoo asked with an innocent look.
Amaterasu facepalmed at him. "I am not grabbing a panda. Susanoo, this is ridiculous-"
"Oh, so you do want to do the pearls?" He asked her with a head tilt.
"Wha-No! You are not getting me to go down there. You can't make me." The goddess said with a huff as she looked away.
Susanoo shrugged before looking down at Vetiver. "How good are you at making people do things that they don't wanna do?" He asked, prompting his sister to twitch.
Vetiver smiled at her track record. "Very. Earlier, I persuaded Heidi to buy a nintendo for a dog." She said calmly.
Susanoo chuckled as he eyed his sister who had the slightest bit of panic forming on her face. "Well, Ama over there doesn't like water like I do. Getting the pearls is often a two-person job...or at least it's more fun that way. Do you think that little trick might work on her?" He asked with a wide grin as Amaterasu gestured for him to stop.
"Hmm…" Vetiver hummed before turning to look at the goddess. "Well...let's see, shall we?" She looked back at Susanoo with a smile.
"Oh, and FYI…" Susanoo leaned over to whisper to her. "She's a sucker and loves kids." He said with a snicker before sitting back up.
Vetiver smirked and nodded at that. Then, she walked over to Amaterasu with no hesitation before saying, "I know you don't like water, but is there any chance that you can jump in? Just this once? I really need that necklace." She asked pleadingly.
Amaterasu appeared to soften for a moment before shaking her head. "Susanoo can do it on his own, he's just being a pain. I am the opposite of water and therefore do not do well in it." She stated while looking up with a neutral expression.
Susanoo blinked. "I can waterproof you."
The goddess's eyes halved. "Susanoo, shut it before I steal your mouth again." She said, prompting the god to quickly cover his mouth with both hands.
Vetiver looked to the side, pondering on how to adjust her approach, before saying, "Well...I must tell you, this gift is to show my appreciation for Audrey accepting me as her own. She didn't have to do it...but she did and I want to show her my gratitude. It would mean so much to me if the goddess of the universe were to help me. It would make the gift extra special...but you don't have to if you don't want to…" She said softly before looking away.
The sound Amaterasu made once the girl had looked away was almost reminiscent of a groan from pain. Ignoring the fact that her brother was punching the air like he had won, the goddess regained her composure before looking down at Vetiver. "I...suppose...I can do it…" She said, sounding like she was struggling to say the words.
Not minding her struggling, Vetiver turned her gaze back to the older goddess with a bubbly expression. "You will!?" She said, her voice coming out higher due to excitement. "Thank you so much!"
"Not...a problem." The older goddess managed out before turning away as she made a bottle of alcohol appear.
Mercury tried to resist the urge to laugh while Vetiver ran around happily. "Yaaay! Now, I can work on Heidi's gift! I'll be back for the necklace when you guys return." She said before running off in glee and excitement.
Susanoo casually floated over to his sister who was drinking straight from the bottle. "Aw...I'm not that big of a problem." He said in a sweet tone.
Amaterasu stopped for a moment and took a breath before bopping him over the head, sending his head into the cloud. "If I could die...You'd be the death of me." She said with a sigh before going back to her alcohol.
Uma observed the scene with a half eyed expression. "You know, seeing them like this makes me feel better about myself." She said growing a small smile.
"Yup, one hundred percent." CJ said, now standing.
JR smiled at this before turning to Ara. "So...about our rep being ruined?" He questioned.
Ara turned to him, now wearing her own smile. "Oh. That's still ruined, but this does help...the smallest bit." She said with a chuckle.
George silently fist pumped. "I'm getting a panda." He smiled.
"I'm getting entertained." Freddie said, holding a soda in her hand.
Hazel chuckled before leaning on the table. "I'm getting sleepy."
Uma snickered and said, "And you are about to leave the room." She pointed to JR.
JR blinked at that. "Wait, what?"
As soon as he had said that, there was the sound of heels meeting the floor that were quickly growing louder and louder before finally...Kam ran in with a smirk as her eyes locked onto JR.
JR looked at her owlishly before his expression became one of exasperation. "...Figures." He said in a deadpan.
The goddess quickly made her way over before promptly picking him up and heading for the door without saying a single word or explaining why she was doing such a thing.
Freddie chuckled as JR kept his deadpan until he was carried out of sight. "I hope the pizza crust injury doesn't cause you too much trouble! Get well soon!" She called before bursting into hysterics.
Chester looked up from his phone to observe the scene. He shook his head at JR and Kam in amusement.
Deuce, who was chuckling himself, said, "At least we don't have to worry about his health!"
Heidi was currently giving Kirby a ride on her shoulders through the large mall as she purposefully ignored the people staring at her. She knew why, the people in Rome always had a thing when it came to staring at her since she was a goddess. Yes, she was a goddess, yes, she looked hella exotic and that always made them run to her, but no, she wasn't gonna let them and their selfies interrupt her day.
Walking through the clearing path that was in front of her, she looked at all the different stores before noticing a high-end tech store. She stopped and tilted her head. "Say...Since we already got the basics from Ikea, you wanna check that place out?" She asked, smiling a bit at what could be in there.
Kirby looked exasperated once he heard the word 'basics'. "You got me a high-end bed so large it's weird. Spent $6,000 on that alone, remember?" He said as he rested his head on hers.
"Hey, as a person who loves california king sized beds, you will learn to adore them. Not to mention the bed set is made up of the nicest materials on the market. You'll be sleeping well." Heidi told him as she headed for the store.
"But were the furniture necessary? I think you spent 5k on tables and dressers…How are those helpful?" Kirby asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Once we hit the clothing stores you will need those, Kirby." Heidi told him before spotting something. "Oh, I've heard about these!"
Kirby opened his eyes and stared at the rather plain looking black boots. "...What are those?"
"Hover shoes. You can go up to 25 mph and drift like it's nobody's business." Heidi said with a grin, using her magic to grab two boxes.
"But you wouldn't even need those." Kirby said pointedly as he kept his head rested on her's.
Heidi rolled her eyes in amusement. "They aren't for me, they are for you and Vetiver to play around with. We have plenty of space in the castle for you two to go nuts." She told him as she levitated the boxes over to where the nearest worker was.
Kirby lazily nodded and closed his eyes. He knew they were gonna be there for awhile, especially since Heidi had a thing for gadgets and gizmos. So, instead of paying attention to his 'mother' as she went about talking about how she was gonna buy him the biggest and best TV, he decided to take a nap.
Heidi, who was casually levitating more and more items over to the worker, was made aware after about...twenty minutes that the boy had fallen asleep. Smiling a bit, she looked around before levitating some more boxes of stuff that Kirby and Vetiver might find fun before making her way to the check out area.
The goddess made her phone levitate out of her pocket before using her message to send a text to Audrey that she'd be dropping off Kirby. Heidi had a few more places to shop for Kirby, namely clothing stores, shoe stores, and a few toy stores, and figured that Kirby would prefer to sleep in a nice bed instead of just using her head.
Levitating her credit card to the worker, she tapped her foot a bit before stopping as he attempted to hand it back to her. "Thanks." She said with a small smile, using her powers to grab it along with the bags, floating all the items, including the massive TV, behind her while the card went in her pocket.
Turning away, Heidi closed her eyes before teleporting right back to the room. She opened them and blinked for a moment once she spotted Audrey eating a...giant cinnamon roll? Or, something like cinnamon roll. Keeping her eyes on her, clearly, happy wife, Heidi deposited Kirby on a couch and covered him up with a soft blanket.
Audrey looked up once she heard the couch creak a bit and smiled. "Oh, hi Heidi!" She said, taking another bite of the huge dessert.
Heidi smiled back as she noticed the cleverly marked places in the room depicting where everyone's stuff was. "You work fast." She commented, levitating all of the stuff behind her while also shrinking the large stuff down to a smaller size as she began putting them where they were supposed to go.
Audrey giggled at that as she put her fork down on the table she was sitting at. "OCD makes you do crazy things." The pinkette said in amusement before looking at Kirby. "I see you wore him out." She added on with a small head tilt.
Heidi shook her head at that. "I think...I may have...bored him out?" She said in a questioning manner while also shrugging innocently. "He fell asleep after we got everything at Ikea." She explained while smiling a bit at the slumbering child.
Audrey nodded at that. "Are you going to contact Hecate to open a portal to get it all home?" She asked with a curious look.
Heidi thought about it for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I'll send her a text once I get the rest of the stuff." She told the pinkette while placing her hands on her hips.
The pregnant woman tilted her head once she heard the last part. "Rest of the stuff? What do you mean by that?" She asked with a blink.
Heidi blinked back. "I'm getting some clothes and shoes for the boy...and I'm also going to a few...toystores." She said before muttering the last two words out as quickly as possible so that Audrey might not understand her.
Unfortunately for her, Audrey understand perfectly and with smiling from ear to ear. "Toy stores? Something tells me its not just for Kirby...is it?" The pinkette rose while keeping a hand on her large belly.
Heidi made an effort to turn her attention elsewhere at that. "That...Isn't important knowledge. I'm just going to go pick up some stuff and I'll be back. Nothing more nothing less." She said as she summoned a large empty blue sack while her long hair was braided into two long braids.
Audrey looked at her in amusement. "Uh huh." She rolled her eyes before walking over to the women. "I think...you'd look really cute in overalls and a white shirt."
Heidi turned around at that with a confused expression before blinking as her wife pecked her on the lips. "Overalls? Why would I-"
Audrey cut her off by using her magic to change the bluenette's outfit. Now she was wear a pair of black overalls with a white shirt underneath them. Her boots changed to a pair of plain black sneakers while the former princess also added a white headband to the woman's head.
Heidi looked herself over while Audrey smiled happily. "I knew it, you look adorable." She said with a squeal as she went to play with one of Heidi's braids.
The bluenette promptly stepped away as her magic began to swirl around her. "You know, I should really get going-mall doesn't stay open forever!" She said while faking a laugh before she disappeared in a blue flash.
Audrey pouted at that and folded her arms. "She never lets me play with her hair." She said before shaking her head and returning to the table where her giant cinnamon roll sat.
