When I see your face

There is nothing I would change

Because you're amazing

Just the way you are!

A song I've heard of.

'I'm taking a trip on my yacht today, if you want to come along, meet me at the Lady H at 4 pm!-H', said the note Granger found on his desk that morning. Grinning, he thought 'Well! I might just consider that! Not sure why she would ask me, but it's very nice of her.'

After dealing with Calen going rogue, Hetty thought it'd be best to take a few days off to relax and enjoy the summer, and she thought she'd invite Granger along.

'He probably won't come, but it WOULD be nice if he would', she said to herself.

Later that day

It was almost 4, Hetty was at the Lady H getting ready to leave, when Granger showed up.

Smiling, she said: 'Well! After not talking to me all day, I thought you weren't coming!'

'Nah. I avoided you because I was really thinking about your offer, you sure the kids can handle themselves for a few days?' He responded.

'Of course they can! We deserve a break from them for a few days.'

After getting settled in, they set off.

'So where are we going exactly?' Granger asked.

'I'm not sure exactly, I think there's this island I would like to visit.'

'Did you pack good food?'

'Of course! Good fish and shrimp.' She responded.

After a couple of hours, they ate the shrimp.

'This is good.' He said.

'Thank you.' Hetty responded.

'It looks a bit overcast, you sure you checked the weather before we left?'

'Yes, I did. Those are just clouds.'

But a few hours later, it started to storm, and Hetty had to stay up late keeping the yacht afloat.

The next morning

'Bleh. I don't feel that good. You okay Hetty?' Granger asked.

Hetty was puking off the starboard side. 'Ohhhh. I think all that rocking and rocking has made me a bit sea sick!'

'Yeah, I don't feel so hot myself. Got any sea sickness medicine?'

'Yes, check the 1st aid cabinet, there's some good stuff in there. And get me some too.'

'Will do.'

That afternoon

Granger was feeling better, he went to check on Hetty. She was still napping.

'You feel like waking up, Hetty?' He asked her. No response. He touched her forehead, and it was very warm.

'Oh my gosh.'

'Mmmm. I don't think this is just sea sickness.' She said weakly.

'Uh yeah, I can see that. How do you feel, sympton wise?'

'Nauseated, tired, warm.'

'Looks like you got a fever.' He responded after taking her tempature.

'Groan. Oh! I think I'm going to puke!'

Thinking fast, He got her a bowl to puke in.

The next 2 days passed. Granger was attempting to steer the Lady H back home, while also taking care of Hetty, who was really grumpy about having to be in bed all day, but also appreciated being taken care of.

That night, after she fell asleep after eating, and while he was wiping her forehead, Granger heard her softly humming.

'She looks so peaceful when she's sleeping. Even when she's sick.' He thought.

The next day

Hetty was insisting on driving her yacht back home, claiming she was feeling well enough.

'I barely feel like puking!'

'Sigh, well okay, but I'm helping you!' He responded.

'I'll be holding on to the steering wheel most of the time, I'll be fine!' Hetty said.

She was, but after a while, Granger could see how hard she was clutching and leaning on to the wheel.

'Still feeling weak?'

'Sigh, yes. But I'm not lying down! I got this!' Hetty insisted.

'Well, can I at least hold your hands for support?'

'I suppose.'

They arrived at the dock that night.

'I'm really sorry. I planned this trip not just because I wanted a vacation, but because I wanted to spend time with you! And it got all screwed up with me getting sick.' Hetty said, feeling guilty.

'No worries. There's no way you could've known.' He responded.

'I know. Still though.'

'Do you want to sleep here tonight instead of going home?'

'That'd be okay. Plus, I'm still kind of weak.'

They slept next to each other.

'So, did you really like this trip?' She asked.

'I think I love you.' He mumbled.

'What?' Hetty asked. It was hard to hear, but she could've sworn he said that he loved her!

But Granger was asleep.

'Wha, what? He, loves me?! I don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight.' Hetty thought.
