"Elana, go sit with your group."

"Why?"

"Because you are supposed to be doing a group assignment."

"I want to be the teacher."

"You're the student."

"I want to teach the class. You go sit with the group."

"No."

"Can birds fly to Saturn?"

"No."

"Can sharks swim in a volcano?"

"No."

"Can hippopotamuses jump?"

"No."

"Good afternoon class."

"Good afternoon Mr. Ballard."

"Why are you in my class?"

"Is Mr. Ballard your boyfriend?" Elana asked.

"No, I broke up with Ms. Pope."

"Why?"

"Because I had another date for the prom. It's okay. Ms. Pope has a new boyfriend. Do you see her diamond ring?"

"Who is your new boyfriend Ms. Pope?"

"Get out of my classroom Mr. Ballard."

"I am surprised you're not marrying Mr. Davis."

"You're bored. Go find another teacher to annoy."

"I'm getting married."

"That's great."

The bell rang and the students grabbed their backpacks. Jake left her class and Olivia instructed them to walk in a single line in the hall and to stand together outside. She had to make sure all of her students followed their after school plan. It was a long list of who walked home, took the school bus, or had a car waiting for them. When she left the school, she had to get Karen from daycare.

Angela turned when someone called her name in the parking lot. If Fitz hadn't asked her to get him lunch, she would be at home waiting for Jake. He didn't like her ending their lunch date to fight her ex-husband's bully. Jake had to get back to work, so Angela didn't mind fighting the bully. The school day was over, so Jake would be calling her soon.

"Hey bitch."

Angela gasped when an arm tightened around her neck bringing her to the concrete. He let go and put his foot on her chest. A car drove into the parking garage and the driver stopped when he saw Angela on the ground.

"Andrew!"

"You're fired."

The shouting in the parking lot quickly drew a crowd, and it didn't take long for Fitz to hear about a fight in the parking lot with Andrew. When he stepped off the elevator, he could see his co-workers standing around. They were afraid of losing their jobs. Fitz pushed his way through the crowd.

"Andrew!" Fitz shouted, before pushing him.

Angela sat up and gasped for air. Andrew tried to stand and Fitz punched him knocking him back on the concrete.

"Let him go. You're going to really hurt him. He's not worth it." Angela said, trying to get the strength to stand up.

Fitz moved away from him when he heard the ambulance turning into the parking garage.
