A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.
Agave
I don't always get along with Mr. D, but this girl had what was coming at her.
Agave was the daughter of Cadmus and Harmonia. She married Echion and had a son, Pentheus.
After her sister Semele had been killed by a thunderbolt when she rashly asked her lover Zeus to show her how powerful he could be, Agave alleged that Semele had had liaison with a mortal and that Zeus had punished her for having claimed that she was pregnant by him. Later, Dionysus, Semele's son, punished Agave for her slander.
When Dionysus returned to Thebes, where Agave's son Pentheus was ruling, he ordered all the women in the town to assemble on Mount Cithaeron to celebrate his mysteries. Pentheus, who opposed to the introduction of the ritual, tried to spy upon the Bacchantes. He was glimpsed by Agave, who took him for a wild beast and tore him limb from limb.
When she had returned to her senses she fled to Illyria, to Lycotherses, the king of the country, whom she married. But later she killed him, to ensure that her father Cadmus should possess the kingdom.
So that's the story of Mr. D's aunt. Just shows how careful you have to be to spread rumors.
Next I talk about a hermaphrodite that the gods castrate to make him/her a single gender leading to issues.
