Hello Descendants Lovers! I am so so sorry about the extremely long delay. I have finally got everything straightened out with my car accident. Everything is taken care and the vehicle problem is solved. Unfortunately, I am still working crazy hours. We have also been working a lot of overtime not only because of COVID-19 but because of all the holidays coming so quickly. We have to make sure production doesn't fall behind and we get everything shipped out on time.

And there has been a lot of things happening with my family; my sister got married and my brother and his wife just had a baby, all happening within the past few months. The baby was having medical problems but everything is good now.

So thank you for your patience as I continue this story. I know it seemed like I have abandoned it, but I didn't. I promised I would finish it, and I will. I just feel bad that it's been taking so long.

So with all that being said, let's get back to the story!

The party was almost as spectacular as the Coronation. A mixture of dark and a few light colors filled the castle room. Purple and blue party streamers hung from the north and south wall while red and silver streamers hung from the east and west wall. A blue and yellow tablecloth covered the table for food and drinks. A big punch bowl sat like a centerpiece for the long table. A cake with chocolate flavor on one side and vanilla on the other, along with green and purple frosting coating it, sat in front of the punch bowl. Music from the DJ started to play loudly as people began to enter.

People began to show up by the dozen. Ben was surprised that some even wanted to show up, let alone the whole kingdom. As soon as people entered the room, they began to laugh and talk merrily. Two servants began to cut pieces of cake and place them on plates, while another servant began to fill cups with the punch. They placed the pieces of cake and cups of punch on a smaller table for people to take at their convenience. Ben watched and with pride as he saw the people of his kingdom smiling and laughing.

Ben wore the same suit he wore for his Coronation. He thought it would be symbolic for the occasion; the VKs coming to live in Auradon was his first official proclamation and it was the day he officially became king was when the VKs realized that they didn't want to be like their parents, and chose good instead of evil. He looked around at the party from up on the stage and formed a small smile.

After a while, Belle came up beside Ben. Belle wore a new yellow dress that Evie had made her for a gift. The long strapless dress was a comfortable fit and it was also the first time she had been able to wear it. Beast went to talk to a servant standing by the door. He wore an old blue suit which he had owned for years. It was a bit worn out, but it was his favorite.

"Well done, Ben," Belle said proudly, placing a hand on her son's shoulder.

"I couldn't have done it without you, mom," Ben replied.

Belle had been a big help with planning the party along with Fairy Godmother and Jane.

"Oh, it was no trouble," Belle replied.

"I don't mean the party." Ben faced his mother. "I mean, for believing in me. Everyone was sure that this idea would never work, including Dad. And even when things started to look ugly, you still stood by me. You believed in me, and them. If you didn't believe in me, I don't know if any of this would have been possible."

"Ben, that's not true. All of this was possible because you believed in you," Belle placed a hand on Ben's cheek." And it's my job as a mother to stand by you, even when it gets hard. Just as it is my duty to stand by your father when things get bad. And no matter what, I'll always be on your side."

"And we will always believe in you," Beast said as he walked up behind his wife. He placed his hand on Belle's shoulder. "We love you, son. And we are so proud of you," he looked down at Belle who looked back up at him with a smile.

"Thanks, Dad. I love you guys too," Ben brought both of his parents in for a tight hug. The parents embraced their son tightly then released him.

Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos had arrived at the same time. As soon as they came through the door, a loud cheer came from throughout the room. Ben looked to see his girlfriend in the beautiful dress Evie had done for her. He whispered a wow under his breath and started to walk towards them.

Jay and Carlos headed to the punch and cake while Mal and Evie linked arms and walked toward Ben. As they walked over, Evie looked around the room at the people talking in groups or couples. She noticed a few dirty and shocked looks from some parents, but mostly from the kids. She was so relieved not to see Aubrey, her grandmother, or Chad. Mal saw Evie looking around and sadness on her face.

"Don't worry about them, E. If they give you any trouble, they'll have to deal with me," Mal told her best friend. Evie couldn't help but form a small smile.

"Mal, you look so beautiful," Ben said as he took her hand.

"You don't look so bad yourself," Mal replied.

Ben chuckled awkwardly and then looked at Evie.

"Evie, I feel like I need to say something," Ben started to say.

"You don't need to, Ben. I promise you, I'm fine. Everything is good."

"I'm really glad you decided to come."

"Well, it's not like I had much of a choice," Evie jokingly said as she looked at Mal.

Mal let out a sarcastic scoff. "Hey now. You had a choice. Sort of."

Evie smiled again and Ben let out a small chuckle. Jay and Carlos came over to join Ben and the girls. Jay licked the frosting off his fingers and Carlos finished his last sip of punch. Mal couldn't help but roll her eyes at her friends.

"Well since you are all here, I need to tell you guys something," Ben said.

"Okay?" Mal said confused but concerned.

"I know I had talked to you guys about maybe saying a few words when we first started to plan this party, but I'm starting to think that we shouldn't do it. The people know what this party is about and who, and I think it would be best to leave it like this."

"Oh good! I didn't really want to talk in front of everyone anyway!" Jay cheered.

"Neither did I!" Carlos added and high-fived Jay.

"But Ben, is that really necessary? I mean this whole party is supposed to be about us, right?" Mal asked.

"Yes, but Mal..."

"Don't say anymore. We finally got out of it. Don't put us back in it," Jay whispered to Mal.

Mal ignored Jay. "So we shouldn't get the chance to say how much we love this place and how it's changed us? And what the people mean to us?"

"M-," Evie tried to say.

"That's not fair, Ben. People have the right to know how we feel."

"I know, Mal, but-" Ben said but was soon interrupted.

Suddenly, the room was enveloped in darkness. Everyone looked around and let out small screams and gasps of confusion. Ben looked around and saw the lights had gone out. Then a strong gust started to blow in the room and the ground began to shake. People started to run around and scream in a panic.

"What's going on?" Carlos asked in a shaky voice.

"I don't know!" Jay answered in the same kind of voice.

Belle and Beast ran to the top of the stage. "Everyone! Stay away from the walls!" Beast shouted. Belle used her arm to cover the wind blast to her face. "Watch for any flying or falling objects!" Belle added.

Everyone still ran in a panic but obeyed Belle and Beast's commands. Ben, Mal, and Evie covered their heads and avoided flying objects.

"Mal, is there something you can do?" Ben asked.

"I don't know! I don't even know what is causing this!" Mal replied as she used some of her magic to protect them from objects flying at them.

"It's her!" a voice called out. "She's the one who is causing this!" the voice continued.

Evie then saw a finger being pointed at her. She then realized that the finger belonged to Chad. "She's trying to kill us all!"

Soon, multiple people were starting to blame and point fingers at Evie.

"I'm not doing this! I don't even have my magic anymore! It's gone!" Evie explained as loud as she could to anyone who was willing to listen.

"Well, if you're not causing this, then who is?" Audrey asked.

As soon as the question was asked, the shaking stopped and the wind ceased. Everyone let out a sigh of relief.

"Is everyone all right?" Ben shouted.

Some people responded aloud and some nodded their heads.

"Man, what was that?" Carlos asked as he walked over to Mal, Evie, and Ben.

"I have no idea. Earthquake I guess," Ben responded.

"That was pretty powerful for an earthquake," Jay said as he came over.

Suddenly, the door of the room opened with a loud slam. People moved away from the door to reveal the intruder. Gasps were let out and no one could believe their eyes.

"No, it can't be," Evie said.

"How?" Mal added.

"But I thought..." Jay and Carlos said.

"It's not possible," Evie commented as Mal took her hand and gripped it tightly.

"Sorry I'm late," the intruder said.

Evie was still in shock and disbelief. It was not possible. "Hannah?!"
