I can do my best to write up an overview of the story so far. I'll post it soon. I cannot find my old notes for where the story was going because I lost my microsoft word. I'm going to do what I can remember! If you guys are interested in seeing some conflict between the two packs, I can do that!
Jeremy's POV
Before I could open my mouth to say anything, Emma had me by my arm and dragged me to the dining room. I don't know what the point was because everyone could probably still hear her yelling. She got in my face when she started yelling, every time I tried to take a step back she took a step forward. I tried to wipe Chloe's blood off my chin and Emma smacked my hand away.
I hissed as my hand throbbed, "That was a little hard."
"Oh boo hoo," Emma growled. "You BIT a girl and got smacked as punishment."
I finally got enough nerve to speak.
"If you bothered to let me have a turn talking," I growled. "You'd know that she asked me to."
Emma shook her head, not believing me.
"Why does everything have to be about Chloe?" She snarled half angry half hurt. "This was my day. This was my home. My family. And she's once again made it about her."
"She did that for you!" It was my turn to yell now. "She got poisoned back and kinda killed when we were at that supernatural town but she never said anything because we were coming here for you! She wasn't a werewolf anymore but she asked me to bite her so she could stay here supporting you! How dare you say she made today about her when she put herself back in the life of a werewolf to give you a day, maybe a life, with your real family!"
Before Emma had a chance to respond, there was crash in the living room and the dining room door busted open. The neighbor had warned authorities like Derek thought she would. Two large men came in and grabbed us, pinning our arms behind our backs, and brought us to the living room.
I don't know what happened here in the living room but we definitely got the nicer werewolves. The living room window was shattered, Derek laid on the floor unconscious with a large dark brown wolf standing over him. Derek must've hit his head on the table because there was a large crack in it now. Chloe was pinned face down on the floor by a gray and white wolf a few feet away from Derek. She struggled to try to get out from under it.
Scott growled at the two men holding us.
"Let my daughter and her mate go. They are part of this pack."
"You have no daughter," the man holding Emma said and twisted her arm further.
I struggled against my captor as I saw the look of pain on her face. No one dare lay a hand on her.
"Do it again," said the man holding me. He smiled. "We got a feisty one here."
"NO," Scott shouted. "I told you let my daughter GO."
During all the talking, Chloe managed to get an arm free I think because the wolf slammed its claws into her arm making her cry out in pain. Ava stood from her seat.
"You let my daughter go now and get the rest of these monsters out of here," she said.
Emma looked to me and mouthed something. I'm no good at reading lips but I swear she said 'run I got this.' What did that mean? I struggled to free my arms harder. What was she going to do?
I didn't have to wait for my answer. There was a loud crack and Emma spun around full vampire mode. Her left arm hanging awkwardly by her side. Her fangs out and her eyes black. She lunged at her werewolf and bit his neck. The werewolf holding me was stunned long enough for me to get out of his grasp. I stood there for a moment not knowing what to do. Lucky for me, Emma was more focused than me. She lunged at the stunned werewolf behind me as I realized the brown wolf standing beside Derek had decided to take part in the action.
I tackled the wolf before it could reach the scuffle between Emma and the werewolf. I wrestled it, trying to get on top without being bitten. I knew those jaws could tear through me if they wanted. The wolf tried bite me but I twisted my way on top somehow. The wolf clawed down my right arm as I landed a punch to its lower jaw.
Suddenly something huge and heavy was thrown into my back, sending me down onto the brown wolf with a loud crack. The brown wolf went limp and the gray wolf's claws shredded my back. The gray wolf was what had been thrown at me. Derek was awake and angry. The gray wolf lunged for him and was thrown into the table.
I looked at the wolf beneath me as Derek took control of the situation. The brown wolf's head was at a stomach twisting angle. I put my hand over my mouth to stop me from throwing up.
"Monsters Scott? Really?" Emma stood in front of her father. I was barely paying attention, I just stared at the wolf. "How can they be monsters and I'm not?"
"You didn't become this way by choice," he said. "They did."
"You don't know their stories. It's all of us or none of us," Emma growled and grabbed my arm to stand me up.
I finally looked up from the wolf. Ava was gone, the two human werewolves lay on the ground by the kitchen doorway, and the two wolves laid at my feet.
"Nice seeing you again," Emma growled sarcastically. "I'm so glad you turned out to be as great as I remembered."
She tugged on my arm and made me follow her and the others out the front door.
No one said anything as we crossed through the territory and made it back out to the cemetery field. We probably would've kept walking in silence but Chloe suddenly hit the ground.
"Chloe?" Derek helped her sit up.
"I-I'm ok," she said.
"No you're not," Emma knelt down next to her. "You're losing a lot of blood. That wolf got you pretty good with their claws."
"And you've got a broken arm," Chloe pointed out. "And the boys probably have concussions."
"Here," I said, taking off my t-shirt and handing it to Derek. "Use it as bandages."
I didn't realize my mistake until I was already handing over the shirt.
"Jeremy," Derek said. "Your back."
"I'm fine," I shrugged it off. To be honest, I was far from fine. My vision was a bit hazy, my back hurt so bad I wanted to cry, I could feel the blood slowly trickling down my back. But I wasn't about to admit that, the girls needed help more.
Emma said something about me being stupid under her breath as Derek ripped the shirt and tied half of it around Chloe's wound. He tied the remaining half into a makeshift sling for Emma. It wouldn't do much for her but it was better than the arm just hanging there. Chloe started chuckling.
"What?" Derek asked.
"That took a bit of turn for the worst. Why does every trip end with someone getting hurt," she chuckled. "Why can't we be normal guests?"
Emma smiled too, "Because we're a crazy and unpredictable bunch visiting crazy and unpredictable places."
Even though she was smiling, I saw the flash of fear in Emma's eyes as her leg spasmed. The emotional hurricane was coming in full force now and even though she tried to hide it, she wasn't going to handle it much longer.
