Hours Later

Lucas's Hospital Room

The private room was filled with family and friends. Dressed as nice and formally as they could be in such short notice. Never the less. The wedding colors were violet purple and Raven blue. With the help of their grandma Karen, aunt, Haley, and uncle Nathan. Ryan, Kennedy, and Rosemary were able to put together a reception in the hospital court yard.

The wedding cermony was going to done by Karen.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union between Lucas Eugene Scott. And Brooke Penelope Davis. If there is anyone here who objects to this union speak now or forever hold you're peace."

"The couple have vows that they wish to share with us today." Karen stated. Stepping back.

Brooke hadn't written anything. She didn't have the chance to plan her words s she decided to just speak from the heart.

"When we met i was lost. And you were too. In different ways. Yet in time we found a safe place within each other. That began as friendship but eventually grew into love. Our journey to becoming a couple the second time around was full of bumps in the road. But i knew we would find our way back to each other."

"Because what i knew at 17 is still true to this day. You are the one for . Then. Forever." Brooke proclaimed. Slipping the wedding ring on his finger.

Lucas took a deep breath and stared into her eyes. His vows had just finished being typed out and printed on the day he was shot. Those words he memorized and planned to say.

But when he tried to recall the words his mind went blank.

"Honesty is a trait i value right there along with loyalty. Yet it took me years to be honest with myself and the people closest to me. I have loved you every day since the start of when you and I became us. Distance and time apart never caused my feelings to change."

"You are my home. The best friend i've ever had. My color. My light. My anchor. My heart yours." Lucas said. As he slid the ring on her finger.

"By the power vested in me and internet for making me a minister. I now prounounce you husband and wife." Karen announced. The emotion in her voice thick.

As the room erupted in applause and cheers. The couple shared multiple kisses.

"We have a surprise for you mom and dad." Rosemary said.

"There is a reception in the court yard awaiting the two of you." Kennedy said.

"Follow us." Ryan added.
