Looking down at the oversized covering, Yuya ran her fingers along the metalwork that radiated warmth it had absorbed from the rising sun. It was an especially magnificent piece of work. She pictured Kyo amidst battle, the brightness of flames flickering harshly off the intricate grooves that adorned it. Majestic.

And yet even divested of it, his strength and charisma were equally, if not more, formidable.

On Kyo, it seemed that the piece that was meant to inspire obedience and reverence amongst warriors, was almost entirely decorative. It could have been a sack.
