Fitz sat in Angela's hospital room. The doctor was waiting for her x-rays to come back. He was kicking himself. It was a joke that went too far. Angela was hurt. She smiled for him and let him know that she only needed an aspirin. He called Olivia, and she was on her way to the hospital. She showed up a few minutes later, and Fitz told her everything about Angela fighting Andrew in the office. It was funny and sad. Olivia didn't have a comment. He was surprised to see a man come in the room a few minutes later with a kid on his shoulder.
"This is my boyfriend Jake. I called him. You can go home with Olivia." Angela said to Fitz.
"What are you doing here, and why did you bring her here?"
"I didn't know you would be at the hospital."
"Fitz we have to go now."
"You two know each other?" Angela asked.
"Yeah, we have a history together." Jake said.
"Who is he?" Fitz asked Olivia.
"Why are you in the hospital?" Jake asked, Angela.
"I started a fight and the guy finished it."
"What guy, and why are you fighting?"
"Fitz is my ex-husband. He asked me to fight his bully."
"What?! This man is your ex-husband, and he asked you to fight another man for him?"
"We've been fighting since high school."
"That's insane. You're pregnant, and you're fighting."
"Pregnant?" Olivia said, looking at Fitz confused.
"The baby isn't Fitz. I found out yesterday." Angela said.
"You should have told me that. I would have never asked you to fight Andrew."
"You shouldn't have asked her if she wasn't pregnant. You must be really desperate for a husband Olivia."
"Who is he?" Fitz asked Olivia.
"We work together." Olivia said.
The noise woke the little girl who was sleeping on Jake's shoulder. She yawned and rubbed her eyes looking around.
"Wow, her eyes." Angela said, looking into the little girls big brown eyes. This was her first time seeing Jake's daughter in person. He always showed her pictures.
"Ms. Pope what are you doing here!"
Olivia blushed hard. She was humiliated and she didn't know how to fix this without further embarrassing herself.
"I'll see you at home Fitz. I need to get Karen from daycare."
"Livvie wait. I don't understand. You need to explain."
Olivia kept walking almost running to the parking lot. Her keys were shaking in her hand. Jake was going to tell Fitz everything. Jake put the girl down and ran in the hall.
"You can't run forever Olivia!" He said loudly.
Olivia kept walking not turning around to acknowledge his comment.
