Daphne found herself inside a cave. She dint know how she got here. The last thing she remembered was getting hit by one of Dumbledore's spells and nearing unconsciousness. She remembered bleeding…a whole lot of it and then nothing but darkness. Faint voices still fell on her ears but she was barely conscious enough to make sense out of it and then the next thing she remembers is being in this cave.

She looked around. The cave felt damp and cold. The walls were slippery as was the floor and a faint sound of waves crashing could be heard in the distance. She wondered if there was a sea or an ocean nearby when she saw a shadow getting bigger.

On instinct she reached for her wand but found it wasn't there. It was then that she realized that she was also totally naked. There was not a single piece of clothing on her body. Her hands immediately moved over to her chest and groin area, covering her modesty as she felt vulnerable and scared.

Then she saw as the shadow approaching her was actually of a woman, a very beautiful woman. She looked at Daphne and smiled slightly.

"Who are you?" Daphne asked. "What is this place?"

The woman smiled looking at her. "I am Scylla," she said. "You are in what you people would normally call a psych plane. Right now you are at Longbottom Manor, unconscious for over a week since the incident with Dumbledore happened."

Daphne looked at her with wide eyes. "Does that mean…" she was quick to join the pieces.

Scylla nodded her head once. "You think right," she said. "You are now a host for me."

Daphne took a minute to take it in before looking at Scylla. "So then…what happened to…to Ariana?" she asked.

Scylla's smile got replaced with a sad look. "It was her decision," she said. "She wanted her brother's crimes to stop. You were on the brink of death. She told me to save you."

"Is she…" Daphne realized.

Scylla nodded. "Due to our prolonged stasis she had become magically and physically weak that when we both woke up she had to rely completely on my powers," she said. "I tried to tell her that but she wouldn't listen." She saw Daphne beginning to say something so she stopped her. "It wasn't your fault," Scylla said.

Daphne said nothing.

"I have located him," Scylla said having Daphne's attention once more.

"How did you…?" she asked.

"I am inside you now," said Scylla. "I am sorry for going through your memories but I needed to know what kind of a person you are. What I mostly found was how much worried were you for your husband which is why you wanted to wake Ariana and me up so that you could ask me to locate him for you."

"Where is he?" she asked.

"Before I can tell you that," Scylla said, "I have already had a conversation with Harry. He doesn't wish to come back…not yet."

Daphne was surprised. "What…What do you mean?" she asked.

"He's at…" Scylla told her the name of the place Harry was. "It's not a place you can go to. You have to be taken there by the people of that place. Harry is there for a reason and he told me to tell you not to worry about him. He will be back in time."

Daphne said nothing for a few minutes before taking a long breath. "Did you tell him about my stupid plan to try and seek your help?"

Scylla smiled. "I didn't," she said. "I've seen your memories and understood your ability to think and feel. I know he would be mad at you for doing something so stupid."

"It was stupid, wasn't it?" Daphne said.

"Not entirely but yes, it was," Scylla said.

"What happens now?" Daphne asked.

"Why don't you wake up first?" Scylla said. "You've been unconscious for over a week. Your friends are getting worried about you."

Daphne opened her eyes and found herself in a room. The walls and everything felt different. She then remembered that was at Longbottom manor. As she slowly sat up the door to her room opened and Susan walked in.

"You're awake!" Susan said as she ran over to her. "How…How are you feeling?"

"A little weak," Daphne said, "and thirsty."

Susan smiled before lightly hugging her. Daphne didn't return the hug but smiled. A house elf then appeared with a glass of water. "What you did was stupid!" Daphne looked up at her and saw a look of anger and worry on Susan's face. "You had us worried to death when you wouldn't wake up after we brought you in."

"I'm sorry," she said in a dry voice.

Susan sighed. "I get why you went to such lengths to do it but you could've at least told someone…me?"

Daphne smiled before looking at her with seriousness. "What about Ariana?" she asked.

"Two days after we brought you here the ministry gave her a proper burial and funeral service," Susan said. "At first they tried contacting Aberforth, her other brother but he was out of reach so they went ahead with the services."

"And Dumbledore?"

"In custody and awaiting trial," Susan said. "Even if he doesn't get a death sentence he will be going in for the rest of his life. Augusta assured us of that."

"I would…like to visit Ariana," Daphne said slowly."

Susan looked at her sadly. "Once you're well enough to walk, we'll go," she said.

"There's also one more thing," Daphne said.

"You are now a host for Scylla," Susan said. Daphne looked at her in surprise. "Neville told us. He could feel her inside you."

Another week of rest later Daphne went to meet Ariana or rather her grave. The tombstone was a very simple one, he one made by the ministry for those whose family or friends couldn't be located to do their services. Daphne placed a flower on her grave before stepping back. "Thank you…for saving my life," she said.

"Did you know this would happen?" Draco asked. The hooded man said nothing.

"What happened?" Kingsley asked.

"Daphne is now a host as well," Draco said, "for Scylla, the divine beast that was living inside Ariana Dumbledore up until now."

Kingsley looked shocked. "How did this happen?"

"She wanted to find Harry," Draco said. "Either Neville or Luna would've told her that Scylla was the best among the divine beasts when it came to tracking or looking for someone. She found her and now she's a host."

Kingsley looked at the hooded man. "I know this was not supposed to happen," the hooded man said. "But there's already too much of a shift for us to care."

"Do her parents know?" Draco asked.

Daphne sat on the couch opposite her parents. They had come to Potter Manor as soon as they heard that she was awake. Daphne's mother was crying while Matthias had a grim look on his face. Daphne sat expressionless. She'd had this conversation with them both just a moment ago and they weren't happy with her explanation. Sure they understood why she did it but it didn't mean that they were on the same page as her.

"Because you are married and that, too to an emancipated minor and a lord nonetheless we cannot tell you to do anything unlike Harry," Matthias said. "But as your parents…as your family I want you to know that we are not at all happy with the reckless decision you made in order to look for Harry. You could've died."

"Shouldn't you be relieved that I didn't?" Daphne said.

"Excuse me?" Matthias said.

"I said I didn't die," she said. "I am sitting right here, talking to you. I didn't die so you two should be relieved."

"I still can't believe you think that this is fine by any means…"

"I wasn't in on this, remember?" Daphne said cutting off her father. "You made a betrothal contract with Harry's parents as soon as we were born. The only reason I accepted to be his wife was so that at least you two and Astoria would be protected under his house. And now that I've grown to love him and wanted to find him since no one else was doing any effort I am the one to be blamed? I would do it again, a thousand times. He's my husband and I know you both know that he'd do the same for me…for any of you just like I would."

Before Matthias could say anything Daphne stood up and walked away. He kept looking at his daughter. None of what she said was wrong but as a parent how could he tell her otherwise? When he and Helena had heard what had happened Helena almost had a heart attack out of panic and worry while Matthias felt like his life was no more. They hadn't told Astoria about it. Daphne had agreed that it was a good decision to not tell any of it to her younger sister.

Knowing Daphne wouldn't listen no matter what they said Matthias, took Helena and left the manor to go back home.

Daphne closed the door behind her as she entered her room and closed her eyes to calm her mind down. "You didn't have to talk to them that way," Scylla said.

"I know," Daphne said sniffing and wiping the single tear streak which ran down her left cheek. "I was just anxious and angry."

"But not on them," Scylla said. "You need to control your emotions. I can help you."

"I think it is time to collect some of the beasts."

Grindelwald looked at his master before standing up. "Is this it?" he asked.

Merlin looked at him and smiled. "You were a faithful servant, Gellart," he said. "Now it's time for you to serve me one final time."
