A/N: Just to let you know, this fanfic will be marked as complete and will be taking a break, but I am going to use that to write my Halloween special, which will give me enougt time to complete before October 31st.
Disclaimer: I do not own Akame ga Kiru and Halo. They belong to their rightful and respectful owners.
Five hours had passed and everyone was back in the death Battle room. They were all pretty disgusted at what they had witness, but they didn't blame the monitor as they knew the Gravemind was the one who sent it. Honest really did have the most brutal death, but he did deserve it and some feared that the Flood will do the same if they were here.
During the five hour break, Kurome managed to woke up and she was really spooked out of what she had just witness. Luckily, Wave told her that everything is going to be okay and soon the two hugged.
Unfortunately for Tatsumi, he was getting sexual assaulted by Esdeath, Mine, Chelsea, and Leone with Akame simply not taking part. The monitor did come but could not intervene. So, Delta and Akame left him to be sexually assulted.
With that and done and Tatsumi still traumatize by that experience, Seyru, Kurome, Esdeath and Wave picked up the controllers to play the next mission.
(Cutscene)
Scene fades in on Arbiter Thel 'Vadam and Special Operations Commander Rtas 'Vadum, who is in a Wraith with its hatch open, conversing. The two are looking towards the Control Room of Delta Halo. The door has just slammed shut with a loud bang.
Thel 'Vadam: "What is that place?"
Rtas 'Vadum: "Where the Councilors were meant to watch the consecration of the Icon. The start of the Great Journey."
"Well, we all know how it ended." Tatsumi remembered watching the Terminal of the Great Schism
Focus on 'Vadam:
Gravemind (flashback): "There is still time to stop the key from turning."
"Well it looks like the Gravemind did break Thel's delusion." Seyru said.
"Yeah, and he would have been broken earlier if only he had listen to Sesa." Najenda added as she was beginning to like him.
"But unfortunately, he had to pull the trigger." Mine countered.
Thel 'Vadam: "I must get inside."
Rtas 'Vadum: "Then mount up, Arbiter. I know a way to break those doors."
'Vadam turns to face the Control Room as Rtas 'Vadum enters his Wraith and closes the hatch behind him.
{Gameplay}
Your Ass, My Size-24 Hoof
Rtas goes into his Wraith while a Spec-Ops Elite arrives with a Spectre. The four borrows the Spectre and fights off any Brute forces, with Esdeath and Seyru taking control of a Ghost.
"Looks like the Prophet's plan failed." Wave said.
"The Elites are warriors. I wonder how they will play a role in my Army." Esdeath wondered the carnage that they will inflict.
By avoiding a Brute-controlled Wraith tank and even a Phantom, A CCS-class battlecruiser can be seen in the distance.
They travel to where a Scarab is visible, docked up on a ledge.
Rtas 'Vadum: "There, Arbiter. That Scarab's main gun will break the Control Room's door. At the far end of the beach there's a passage into the cliff. It'll take you up to the Scarab."
They clear the area, and reach the far end of the canyon.
Rtas 'Vadum: "The Brutes control that cruiser, Arbiter. I'll remain here, make sure no reinforcements get in behind you. Then, I'm going to take the cruiser back!"
"Okay, there's no way he could take that alone." Mine said.
"He might bring back up." Sheele added.
"Well, the Sangheili are warriors while the Brutes are just like those savage Danger Beast." Mez finished.
The four walks into a room where a Sangheili and two Mgalekgolo are waiting.
"Jesus, that scared me!" Wave jumped as the Elite poke out its head.
Special Operations Sangheili: "The Arbiter? I thought he was dead! Hold your fire. The Hunters have come to our aid, Arbiter. They will fight by our side."
The four fight their way through several areas guarded by Jiralhanae, Kig-Yar and Yanme'e, while also keeping their allies alive. Eventually they reach a room where two Sangheili Councilors and a Mgalekgolo pair are being held prisoner behind force field doors.
"Seyru." Esdeath looks at her subordinate.
"Yes, ma'am?" Seyru knew what she meant. Seyru grabbed a Beam Rifle and shoots down the barriers to free all the prisoners.
Soon, a massive fight breaks out in the detention center. With the freed prisoners, they crush the Covenant forces. The Arbiter and his allies continue through a corridor, eventually stepping out onto the platform where the discover a group of Jiralhanae preparing to execute some Marine prisoners, including Sergeant Johnson.
"Don't let Johnson die!" Leone shouted.
TartarusCOM: "Mine will do. Kill the others."
Jiralhanae #1: "Yes, Chieftain. (to other Jiralhanae) A day's ration says I can do this in one cut."
Jiralhanae #2: "Two cuts at least."
"Jesus, those Brutes are starting to remind me like our targets in the Capital." Tatsumi muttered.
"Yeah, well at least they are not here." Leone sighed as she knows that by charging in into one, she would get ripped apart, which sent a shiver down her spine.
Jiralhanae #1: "Done. Wait, movement!"
Jiralhanae #2: "Elites!"
Sergeant Johnson: "Go, go, go!"
Gunnery Sergeant Marcus Stacker and Staff Sergeant Banks start firing at the Jiralhanae with concealed Plasma Pistols, while Johnson jumps into the Scarab and heads inside it. The Scarab starts moving.
"Now Johnson has the big guns!" Leone threw her arms up in excitement.
"Yeah and the Covenant Forces will be forced to retreat." Mine added.
Seyru, Kurome, Esdeath and Wave quickly dealt with the Brutes and soon Wave and Kurrome picked up any Brute Shots since it is a reliable weapon. The remaining forces in the platform were soon killed by the Sangheili and Mgalekgolo.
(Cutscene)
The Arbiter, surrounded by the dead Jiralhanae he just killed, turns around to see the Scarab's main cannon aimed at him.
Sergeant JohnsonCOM: "Listen, you don't like me..."
Cut to Scarab's helm, Johnson at the controls.
Sergeant Johnson: "...and I sure as hell don't like you."
"Well, it looks like they would throw that away, considering what will happen." Mine said.
"Indeed." Akame agreed.
Sergeant Johnson: "But if we don't do something, Mr. Mohawk's gonna activate this ring."
Cut to 'Vadam as he listens.
Sergeant Johnson: . "And we're all gonna die."
Thel 'Vadam: (cautiously) "Tartarus has locked himself inside the Control Room."
Sergeant JohnsonCOM: "Well, I just happen to have a key." (The Scarab's cannon opens)
"Well, they're going to expect a surprise." Lubbock said.
Sergeant Johnson: "Come on. Grab a Banshee..."
Cut back to Johnson.
Sergeant Johnson: "...and give me some cover. He's gonna know we're comin'."
{Gameplay}
Backseat Driver
Two Banshees arrive and their Sangheili pilots jump out.
"Great, now how are we going to travel?" Wave asked.
"Hijack a wraith and cover us." Esdeath answered and soon her and Seyru boarded the Banshees.
Johnson fires the Scarab's main cannon and destroys an enemy Wraith.
Sergeant JohnsonCOM: "Ha! How do you like it?!"
They approach the Control Room, fighting off more Wraiths, Spectres, Shade turrets and hostile Banshees.
"Never mind, I take that back." Wave uttered and soon he and Kurome hijacks another pair of Banshee.
With all of them in a Banshee, they destroy several more Wraiths and Banshees in the area in front of the Control Room. The Scarab comes in firing range of the Control Room.
Sergeant JohnsonCOM: "Stay clear of the doors. Hey, bastards, knock knock!"
The Scarab's cannon fires, destroying the Control Room's door.
"Woooooahhh! I forgot how powerful the Scarab gun can be!" Dorothea said.
"Of course, and it is powered by Lekgolo worms." Delta added.
"Yeah." Dorothea soon looked at Delta, and soon by everyone else. "Wait, what?!"
"You're telling us that the ones that makes up the Hunters could also power that kind of machine!" Lubbock said in a state of shock.
"Yes and they need people in case they could go berserk." Delta responded.
Most of them sweat dropped of having worms that are powerful enough to cause havoc. Esdeath soon sigh and wished that she had one to build an army.
A hostile Phantom lands and deploys a Wraith beside the Scarab, but Wave destroys the Wraith and flies toward the Control Room.
Delusions and Grandeur
Looking at that title card made Seyru think back of her days working for the Empire. But now, she is fighting justice not for them, but for the New Kingdom. She let out a smirk before she was brought back into reality.
The four lands their Banshee and enters the Control Room. They soon run into a pack of Jiralhanae, including several Jiralhanae Honor Guardsmen.
Jiralhanae #3: "Do not let the Arbiter into the chamber! The Chieftain must complete his holy work!"
The four kills all the guards and then heads into the main chamber of the Control Room.
(Cutscene)
Tartarus and four Jiralhanae Captains approach and stand in front of the control panel, holding Keyes and 343 Guilty Spark.
Tartarus: "Come, human, it is easy." (He tries to get Keyes to insert the Activation Index) "Take the Icon in your hands... (growls impatiently) And do as you are told!"
"Wow, he really has no idea what he's doing to Miranda." Leone said.
"He's really forcing her into it." Lubbock added.
The monitor looks at him. "Not that kind of way, Reclaimer."
Lubbock laughed. "Oh, right. Sorry."
He slams the Index on the console, which flashes red lights.
343 Guilty Spark: "Please, use caution! This Reclaimer is delicate."
Tartarus: "One more word, Oracle, and I'll rip your eye from its socket!" (he turns to Keyes, pushes her forward)
Dorothea looked at Delta. "Would that be possible?"
Delta soon responded. "Well, if someone has raw strength, then they will."
Commander Keyes: (exhales sharply)
Tartarus: (soft menacing growl) "Which is nothing compared to what I'll do to you." (Miranda grimaces defiantly)
Thel 'Vadam walks in.
Thel 'Vadam: "Tartarus, stop."
Tartarus: (gasps, jerks his neck up in surprise) "Impossible!"
Thel 'Vadam: "Put down the Icon."
Tartarus turns to face 'Vadam.
Tartarus: "Put it down? And disobey the Hierarchs?"
"Disobey the Heirarchs?! You really want to wipe out the whole galaxy!" Seyru yelled that was not a reason for justice.
Thel 'Vadam: "There are things about Halo even the Hierarchs do not understand."
Jiralhanae step forward menacingly, Tartarus stops them.
Tartarus: "Take care, Arbiter. What you say is heresy!"
"It's not heresy! It's the truth!" Seyru yelled again.
Thel 'Vadam: "Is it? (gently) Oracle, what is Halo's purpose?"
343 Guilty Spark: "Collectively, the seven—"
Tartarus grabs 343 Guilty Spark and jerks him around.
Tartarus: "Not another word!"
Sergeant Johnson (off screen): "Please..."
Tartarus lowers 343 Guilty Spark to see Johnson approaching standing next to 'Vadam. He holds a Beam Rifle and aims it directly at Tartarus.
Sergeant Johnson: "Don't shake the light-bulb."
The Jiralhanae Captains growl and approach. Johnson raises the Beam Rifle to Tartarus' head.
Sergeant Johnson: "If you wanna keep your brain inside your head, I'd tell those boys to chill."
Tartarus barks a command, and the Jiralhanae back off.
Sergeant Johnson: (to 'Vadam) "Go ahead. Do your thing."
Thel 'Vadam: (to Guilty Spark) "The Sacred Rings, what are they?"
343 Guilty Spark: "Weapons of last resort, built by the Forerunners to eliminate potential Flood hosts, thereby rendering the parasite harmless."
"Yeah, we already know that." Najenda remembered form the last game.
Thel 'Vadam: "And those who made the rings? What happened to the Forerunners?"
343 Guilty Spark: "After exhausting every other strategic option, my creators activated the rings. They and all additional sentient life in three radii of the galactic center, died, as planned."
Hearing that made Night Raid shock. The Forerunners were wiped out due to the Flood's large numbers. Dorothea looks at Delta in sadness. "Delta…" She spoke.
The monitor was quiet for a few minutes until she went back to reality. "It's fine. I long accepted of what had happened and it was nice that the Forerunners had manage to preserve some species to repopulate again." She went back to thinking. "Of course of what I said earlier about the Forerunners killing the Precursors being petty was a complete lie. They would be disgusted of the Precursors' true intention. They had to die so that secret would not be leaked."
"Delta…" She was brought out of her thoughts and she looked at Akame, who was giving her a sad facial expression. "You spent 100,00 years on your own without anyone to talk to. I'm sorry."
Many of them felt sorry for Delta's race going extinct. It was short-sighted, but they managed to fight off the Flood.
Close up on 'Vadam, he lowers his head in sadness. Johnson lowers his Beam Rifle and looks on to the disillusioned Arbiter in acknowledgement.
Seryu also looks down as she is finally out of her disillusionment as an enforcer for the Empire. Wave saw this and soon comforts her, giving him a glare from Kurome.
343 Guilty Spark: (slightly awkward) "Would you... like to see the relevant data?"
Thel 'Vadam: (turns his attention back to Tartarus) "Tartarus. The Prophets have betrayed us."
"C'mon Tartarus, you have a chance to redeem yourself." Seyru exclaimed.
Tartarus pauses, considering the Monitor's words, but quickly makes up his mind and throws 343 Guilty Spark at Johnson's head, knocking him down. He then grabs Keyes' hand and forces the Index into the console.
Soon, Seyru then growls in anger. "You had one chance, ONE CHnace! But you have chosen death!"
Tartarus: "No, Arbiter! The Great Journey has begun. And the Brutes, not the Elites, shall be the Prophets' escort!"
Tartarus grabs his hammer as his energy shield turns on and throws Miranda aside. The main platform at the center of the Control Room splits into three as Halo charges up, emitting a massive beam of energy.
{Gameplay}
Sangheili reinforcements show up and wipe out the Jiralhanae Captains. Tartarus jumps to the central platform. The Sangheili pursue him and end up getting killed. Johnson hangs back, firing on Tartarus with his Beam Rifle. Commander Keyes stands on one of the rotating platforms, 343 Guilty Spark follows her.
"I'll show you what justice is!" Seyru said and tries to shoot his shields down, to no avail.
"Damn, he might've gotten an invincibility ability." Wave pointed out as he and Esdeath were shooting at him with their Carbines.
"And how are we go to get rid of that?" Kurome asked.
343 Guilty Spark: "Charging sequence initiated. Primary generators coming online."
Commander Keyes: "Well, shut them down!"
343 Guilty Spark: "Apology. Protocol does not allow me to interfere with any aspect of this sequence."
Commander Keyes: "Then how do I stop it?"
343 Guilty Spark: "Well, it will take some time to go over the proper procedures, I—"
Commander Keyes: "Quit stalling!"
343 Guilty Spark: "Under more controlled circumstances, I would suggest the Reclaimer simply remove the Index."
Commander Keyes: "That's it? Johnson, I'm on it!"
Sergeant Johnson: "Hang tight, ma'am! Not until that Brute is dead! (when knocking off Tartarus' shield for the first time) Hey, Mohawk! How'd that feel?"
Seyru shoots Tartarus, and damaged him to a minimum. "Okay, I think I found his weakness."
"Okay, let Johnson keep shooting until the Brutes shield's are down." Wave said.
Tartarus: "A lucky hit. You shall not land another."
Sergeant Johnson: (when knocking off Tartarus' shield for the second time) "His shield is down, let 'em have it!"
"Got that!" Seyru nodded and shoots him.
While the fight continues, Mirand and Spark still continues to argues.
343 Guilty Spark: "Secondary generators charging. All systems are performing well within operational parameters."
Commander Keyes: "You're telling me that you can't stop the sequence?"
343 Guilty Spark: "Reclaimer, please understand that interrupting the wave generation process will severely damage this installation."
Commander Keyes: "Give me a direct answer!"
343 Guilty Spark: "I am but a Monitor. The Reclaimer can do as it likes."
Sergeant Johnson: (knocking down Tartarus' shield for the third time) "There goes his shield!"
Seyru does more damage before Tartarus' shields went back, forcing her to retreat and grab another weapon.
Johnson knocks down Tartarus' shield for the fourth time:
Sergeant Johnson: "Got his shield! Hit him now!"
Seyru hits him, with the help of the others. But his shield regenerates.
Johnson knocks down Tartarus' shield for the fifth time:
Sergeant Johnson: "Quick while his shield is down!"
The fight continues:
343 Guilty Spark: "Power generation phase complete. The installation is ready to fire. Starting final countdown."
Sergeant Johnson: "Come on, Arbiter! Kick that guy's ass!"
343 Guilty Spark: "Firing sequence initiated. And may I say, Reclaimers, it has been a pleasure to serve you both. Goodbye."
Sergeant Johnson: "I can keep his shield down, but you've gotta finish the job!"
After a long and intense battle, Seyru, with the help of the others finally kills him with an energy sword.
"This is for the Elites you killed." Seyru said maliciously.
(Cutscene)
Keyes jumps onto a rotating platform, ducks to avoid one of the other platforms passing right above her, jumps onto the main platform, and grabs the Index. The entire room shakes, making Miranda hold the Index up to her chest in fear.
Cut to exterior of the Control Room. All the built up energy fires into space.
Cut to Halo's exterior, a large pulsing ball of energy is being formed in the center, the shot from the Control Room reaches it, the ball glows, explodes, then dissipates.
"That was a close one." Wave sighed in relief.
Cut to interior of Control Room, which seems to be running on emergency power, as many of the lights are dimmed or not functioning. Keyes stands in front of a holographic depiction, Johnson rides 343 Guilty Spark to her.
"Wow, that would be fun!" Leone commented.
"Of course, every monitor could do that." Delta said.
Commander Keyes: "What's that?"
343 Guilty Spark: "A beacon."
Commander Keyes: "What's it doing?"
343 Guilty Spark: "Communicating. At superluminal speeds with a frequency of—"
Commander Keyes: "Communicating with what?"
343 Guilty Spark: (a bit surprised) "The... other installations."
Commander Keyes: "Show me."
343 Guilty Spark interfaces with the hologram, it depicts the seven Halos, a red message points to one ring (Installation 04, which has been destroyed).
Dorothea and Stylish looked at the Halo Rings in awe. They and everyone else was shocked that there are five more Halo rings.
343 Guilty Spark: "Fail-safe protocol: In the event of unexpected shutdown, the entire system will move to standby status. All remaining platforms are now ready for remote activation."
Commander Keyes: "Remote activation? From here?"
"Yeah, where?" Dorothea asked as she was eager.
"You'll know soon." Delta answered.
343 Guilty Spark: (patronizing) "Don't be ridiculous."
Sergeant Johnson: "Listen, tinkerbell, don't make me..."
Keyes puts a hand on his shoulder.
Commander Keyes: "Then where? Where would someone go to activate the other rings?"
343 Guilty Spark is truly baffled by the humans' supposed ignorance.
343 Guilty Spark: "...Why, the Ark, of course."
Dorothea was eager to ask. "Wait, the Ark. Isn't that….?"
"Indeed." Delta answered. "It where the Seven Halo Rings were created." She paused quickly. "Good thing I have said seven, since Installation 07 has some…. Dark history."
'Vadam comes up behind Johnson and Miranda Keyes.
Thel 'Vadam: "And where, Oracle, is that?"
"Many of them speculated of where the location would be. But they might get their answer soon.
Fade to black
Fade in on the Forerunner Dreadnought exiting slipspace, and heads straight to Earth. Covenant and UNSC ships are engaging each other.
"Looks like Chief made it in time." Leone said.
"Yeah, and he's going to get Cortana back." Kurome added.
OfficerCOM: "We've got a new contact, unknown classification!"
Fade in on the interior of the Forerunner ship, John-117 listens in.
Lord HoodCOM: "It isn't one of ours, take it out."
John-117: "This is SPARTAN-117."
Cut to Cairo Station's bridge, where it's still is intact and Lord Hood stands at the main display screen as station personnel scramble to their stations.
John-117COM: "Can anyone hear me? Over."
Lord Hood: (to officer) "Isolate that signal! Master Chief? You mind telling me what you're doing on that ship?"
Cut to Master Chief.
Master Chief: Sir.
"Finishing this fight." Chief and everyone else finished with Koro doing the same in his barking.
"Now that was awesome!" Leone threw her arms up in the air.
"Indeed that was Sis." Tatsumi agreed.
Fades to black.
Level ends and soon the credits play
"Oh, and here's the credits." Mine pointed out.
("Epilogue" plays in the background.)
Suddenly, everyone starts humming to the them as the credits roll.
After the credits roll, an after credit scene was played.
(Epilogue Cutscene)
Fades in on the Flood-infested High Charity.
A Flood spore floats through the air, the camera pans off to the walkway outside the Council Chamber.
Cut to a damaged door that keeps trying to close, Gravemind's tentacles creep through.
"Ugh, great. Now we have to deal with them." Mine grumbled as she hated the Gravemind for tricking them.
Gravemind: "Silence fills the empty grave, now that I have gone."
Cuts to the Council Chamber, Gravemind's tentacles reach across.
Gravemind: "But my mind is not at rest, for questions linger on. I will ask, and you will answer."
Cortana's hologram appears, she holds up her hand, the tentacles stop and move off.
"I don't like where this is going." Wave uttered.
"Don't get the sexual reference, Reclaimer." Delta reminded him.
Close-up on Cortana's face
Cortana: "All right... shoot."
Fades to black.
"I can't wait to play the sequel!" Tatsumi exclaimed in excitement.
"But we have to play the side story before we could play the Sequel." Najenda reminded him, making the Incuriso pout.
While this was happening, Delta just got one thing to say. "Right, now it's time to know what happened in Choukri."
HOLY-JESUS! Now, that was one hell of a chapter. Well, not really. Now then, I could fully focus on my Halloween Special and I confidently say that this fanfiction will be back on November 30th, which is kinda like a month away, but it would give me time to catch up on my studies. Now then, here are the announcements:
Choukri Island Incident: 31st October
ODST: 30th November
I'll see you all soon in the Halloween Special
Oh, and the Flood aren't present in the Empire, but the Prime Minister was replaced with another one that is the same person but from another universe and that he is very loyal to the Gravemind and plans to invade the Empire when the Revolution begins. Plus, the Flood Forces are in a Shield World, so that would explain why the Flood are no going to invade yet but are in the interstellar stage and that it plans to punish the Empire. That is why after writing Halo 4, I am going to write another fanfic in somewhere between 2021-22.
One more plot hole that I need to fill in is that Honest's death didn't take place in their world, but rather in a Shield World that I mentioned in Chapter 30. So, that would explain why.
Another plothole that I need to fill in is Delta's age. Since she is a monitor, I would say she's over 106,000 years old.
And one final edit, what do you think of an AKG/ Elder Scrolls xover with only Tatsumi as the main character?
