Chapter 38 you passed

A/n:...SON OF A BITCH! *sighs* I fucked the last chapter up...ugh! Dammit! I made a mistake on that last one, shit. Hmmmm, well, all I can really do is just try to do better than that.

Comments:

The emerald mage: yeah...yeah that chapter was awful. Far too much random stuff going on. You made a very good point with how Miles shouldn't have just been okay with Usagi admitting to stalking. He is a bit far too nice and at times a little naive.

And I deeply apologize on how the race was portrayed, it was far too random with the lewdness. I was trying to add in more comedy and well that backfire badly. So I'm very sorry to both you and everyone else that the last race was absolutely shit.

Now, you mentioned that harem with Tatsuya, Masaru, and Taichi:

Good news everyone! That's been absolutely scrapped.

Yeah my friend and I talked about it this morning, and we have scrapped the idea entirely for the Keijo lemon smut that will immediately come out after this story is done. So we did agree on the oc Suruga Keijo engineers getting their lovers, but I'm still debating on that if it's a good idea.

However my friend did bring up something very important:

How will Kakuyo and Evako explain that they were at their rivals Keijo school?

The answer was very easy for me when he asked me that question, so that will be brought up. In this chapter near the end.

Now for the guest that asked what Ujibe and Kakuyo were talking about, I will explain that as well in this chapter.

Also to emerald mage, no, I'm not making the fight with Miles in the East/West war show how cool Miles is, the boy is gonna fuck up, and some of those techniques Miles hasn't fully practiced with yet (I may have to fix that part latter for a surprise guest). But I am glad that you enjoyed the romance part.

Now, I think it's time say this to all of you in regards to Evako's abilities:

I'm giving her two more techniques that are a gift from her brother.

The reason is because I have decided to get rid of one new technique for Miles and let him learn one new one from his aunt Akutori:

And the technique is called [redacted]

Yeah I'm not spoiling that, sorry.

Now one more thing:

Do all of you still want Miles to have at least one more girl but this time from the Suruga Keijo school? Or do you want me to drop the idea?

^ I seriously need to know your answer for this because I can delete the notes that are next to me, if you don't want this to happen that is fine, but you do, I will reveal the name on the next chapter. Anyway this is all I have to say, but once again, I'm so for the last chapter, and I deeply apologize for how terribly written it was.

Also second question:

Do you want this story to end the same way it did in the anime or manga?

Please enjoy this short chapter.

The others just looked in shock as Mio gently pushed them off of the land one by one, Kazane and the others were still frozen due to the breasts hypnosis that Mio did on them.

'I can't move...this is bad' Kazane thought 'I'll drown...'.

The others saw a few of the Keijo engineers jump into the water and dive to get them, team 309 was worried about their friend and they were hoping that she was okay. However they were relieved when they brought Kazane up as she was coughing and breathing heavily.

"Aoba, Horiuchi, and Shimada have all sunk! Loser! Winner of race 4, by a landslide, Kusakai Mio".

Mio scratched the back of her head "Dang, that was a bit too much" she said sheepishly as she made her way to dry land.

-a few minutes later-

The class change race was finally over for the day, everyone had did their best. Some felt defeated and bitter, but some were glad that it was all over. They were done for the day, nothing else to do but relax.

Well, almost everyone.

Kazane was sitting by herself, she and the others had to be taken to the infirmary after they swallowed a bit of water when they fell into the pool. She had her head down in her arms, she didn't want to look at anyone. She failed to beat Mio, and she failed the class change race. She was the only person who didn't pass in beating her opponent.

Non was trying to cheer her up, as Nozomi and the others just looked at her.

"Kazane's really depressed. I bet it feels awful to lose like that" Nozomi said sadly.

"She did put up a good fight, but she really must have felt the difference between her and Kusakai" Sayaka said "the main reason why she's depressed is different though".

Hearing the last part of what Sayaka said made Nozomi curious as to what she meant by it. "The main reason...what's that?" Nozomi asked her. Sayaka looked at her a bit before shrugging "Nevermind" Sayaka told her leaving Nozomi confused. Miles looked over at Kazane, he was sad that she didn't pass her exam, he wanted to go and help her get better, but he figured now wasn't the time.

'Kazane' Miles thought.

The sun was starting to set a bit, all of the players were standing in line as Ujibe was going to speak to them.

"Good work, everyone. We've had plenty of great races today. No matter who the opponent is, never hesitate to fight back. That is the attitude required to get the spectators on your side!" Ujibe explained as she smiled to herself "Even I felt an urge to go back to my golden days".

The last part made everyone just look at her with dread of seeing Ujibe play Keijo again in her...current state.

"Regarding the results of the class change race, they'll be announced on the notice board tomorrow morning" Ujibe added "Tomorrow will be a day off for all of you. Use it to rest well so we can go back to business the day after! Dismissed!". And with that, everyone scattered, however Nozomi had glanced over at Kazane who had her head down the whole time Ujibe was talking. Nozomi looked over at Miles.

"Kazane is still not looking good, I'm concerned" she told Miles. Miles agreed with her "Yeah, think we should talk to her and try to cheer her up?" Miles said. Nozomi pondered about the idea until Taichi came over to them. "Hey! Well the race is over! You guys did great" Taichi congratulated them.

"Thanks, it was tough" Miles said to him.

"Heh, yeah. But you guys pulled through, so you should be happy to be in the elite class now".

Miles then stared to place his hand under his chin, Letting his ass blade tail form as it moved back and forth, he was concerned about Kazane just as Nozomi was. "Well, we don't know for sure if we have passed yet, Taichi" Nozomi said "But thanks though".

Taichi smiled "Hey, It's no problem" he said before he then remembered something "Oh! I almost forgot to tell you guys. We unfortunately won't be able to see each other tomorrow". This made Miles and Nozomi look at Taichi with a bit of surprise. "Why is that?" Miles asked him.

"We have to get our stuff packed, we'll be heading to Setouchi's rival Keijo school Suruga" he explained "They need extra hands in regards to some important land work. And we were asked to help them. To be honest, I'm both happy and nervous".

"Suruga...I don't think I've heard about that school" Miles said.

"That's understandable" Taichi said "Suruga is the second Keijo school in Japan. Suruga represents the East of Japan. Thus, they are rivals of Setouchi. Unfortunately that's all the information that I know on Suruga". "A rival Keijo school called Suruga, huh?" Nozomi muttered until Evako overheard them.

"Hey! You talking about Suruga, I go there. And I have some friends their too" Evako said happily as she jumped on her brothers back. Miles looked at his sister "You go to Suruga, Evako?" He asked her. Evako nodded at his answer "Yup!" She said "I have all of my Keijo teams phone numbers, although, Suruga is kinda like a military school. They train us hard, and some of our coaches are ex-military drill Sargents too" she added. Hearing this made Miles a little uneasy as she let out a nervous laugh "Heh...heh, good thing I don't go there then, that school would kill me by the way that you're describing it" he said.

Evako just kept her smile as she stayed on her brothers back, as Nozomi and Taichi finished their conversation and parted ways, they then noticed Kazane as Miles and Nozomi made their way over to her. "Kazane! There you are" Miles and Nozomi said in unison.

"Oh! Nozomi, Miles" Kazane muttered.

"Are you going to the shower room?" Nozomi asked her "Miles and I can come with you".

Hearing that Miles would be in the shower room with them made her blush bright red, but she shook her head. "N-no...I'm not heading there" she said "In fact, I was looking for the both of you".

"You were?" Miles said as he got a nod from Kazane "Yes, can you come with me to our room. Miyata and Toyoguchi as well please" she asked. And with that, Kazane made her way to their room, Miles and Nozomi looked at each other. They were curious as to what Kazane needed them all for. Non and Sayaka made their way over to them.

"Hey! You guys okay? You look worried" Non asked them.

"Kazane asked for us to come meet her back at our room" Miles said. Sayaka pondered at that, "That's odd. Why would she want for us to meet back at our room?". Miles could only give a shrug. He then placed his sister back down off his back, as he rubbed her head. "Hey, I'll catch up with you in a bit okay. I've got to take care of this" Miles said to Evako who nodded at him still smiling. "Okay!" Evako said "But come back so we can hang!".

"I will, Evako. I mean it" Miles promised her.

As soon as Evako ran off, the others were making their way to their room.

-room 309-

Kazane was sitting on her bed, she was waiting for her friends to show up. She had her notebook that had all the information of every single person in the school, data and all, it was all of the information that she had gathered. She held it close to her chest, she had tears forming. Kazane was upset that she had lost, she didn't pass, and for not passing she was going to be kicked out of the school.

She opened her notebook, as she carefully skimmed through the pages, all of the information that she had written was carefully explained and not in quick scribbles, however, the moment she stopped on Miles name was when she felt like the whole world had froze. Kazane just looked at his information, she even drew around his information a few times with a few tiny hearts.

She never thought that she would have developed feelings for anyone, let alone someone at school. But her time with Miles made her do just that, and she seriously as quiet as it was kept: it was one of the reasons why she didn't want to leave. Not only Miles, but friends as well, she knew that room 309 wouldn't be the same without her, but she also knew that nothing could change the fact that she had failed.

"I...I don't wanna go...I don't wanna leave ma friends" Kazane tearfully said in her Hiroshima accent. That's when she heard the door knob start to move as she quickly got up from her bed and stood at the entrance. The others made their way into the room as Kazane walked over to them and held out her arms:

"Here you go".

"Hm? What's this, Kazane?" Nozomi asked her.

"It's my notebook of the data I've gathered about all of the female students here" Kazane explained "The size and properties of their boobs and butts, and of course, their constitution and muscle distribution as well".

The others were silent as they skimmed over the notebook, Miles then looked over at Kazane. Kazane blushed, she felt like she wanted to confess to him right then and there. But she held back on it, she didn't want to confess to him right before she had left, it would be too cruel for the both of them. "Please use my notebook from now on" Kazane told them.

"Huh? Why Kazane?" Miles asked her.

"I don't need it anymore...I barely passed the class change race. After losing the race so badly, I evidently don't have any talent as a player. They'll probably let me go because I'm too weak" she explained to him.

"That's ridiculous! You're not-" Miles was cut off. "Yes they will! Do you know how many people in this room have dropped out?! It's that kind of environment!". Kazane then just let her tears fall down her cheek "If...if anyone is gonna drop out, then it's clearly going to be me...". The faint sounds of Kazane sniffing made everyone just look at her. They didn't want her to leave, it wouldn't be the same without her. Nozomi placed Kazane's notebook on the table as she looked at her.

"Even if you're right..." Nozomi said "If you're talking about the lack of strength, then we're the same! We may look calm on the outside! But none of us would've been able to deal with Kusakai either. So that's why we're going to talk to Miss Ujibe!". Kazane was surprised that Nozomi and the others were going to do their best to keep her, she hadn't had friends that would go all out for her like this. She then saw Miles hand out his hand to her.

"We've come this far together, Kazane. We won't let this end over one small race. We want you to stay with us. It's not room 309 without you" he told her as he smiled at her. Kazane blushed even more, her friends were will to sweet talk Ujibe into letting her stay with them. She hesitated a bit, but gently took Miles hand as the group then headed over to Ujibe's office.

'Guys...' Kazane thought.

-a few hours later-

Team 309 was panting as they were making their way to Ujibe's office. They had to take a little trip to their schools store for some Butt manju snacks for Ujibe. As they walked down the hallway, they saw Hanabi standing next to Ujibe's office. As soon as Hanabi heard their footsteps, she turned to see Nozomi and the others. Her heart started to flutter at the sight of Miles.

"Hm? Nozomi, Miles. What's up? Did you guys sprint over here? And are those the butt manju from our school store in that bag?" She asked. Nozomi and the others felt like passing out from all the running they did, Miles included as he had forgotten again to turn off his nerve sensors again. "Y-yeah..." Miles said as he let out a long sigh "Hey...is...is Miss Ujibe in her office? We need to talk to her...".

"She is, but now isn't a good time" Hanabi told him.

"Huh? Why not?" Nozomi asked.

Just then...

"I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!".

The others jumped at the sound of Mio's voice. Hanabi giggled when they jumped as she quickly explained "Mio's in a bit of trouble for using a banned technique".

"A banned technique?" Sayaka said.

"Yup!" Hanabi said "Mio is a cut above the rest of us, so Ujibe had to put a limit on her abilities, making her have a handicap. Unfortunately it looks like Mio had forgotten about that, and is being punished for forgetting".

The others just looked at the door with dread at whatever punishment that Mio was getting.

"So it's punishment time right now..." Nozomi and Miles said in unison.

However the other side of the door was silent until Ujibe yelled:

"WHO IS MURMURING OUTSIDE THE DOOR!?".

This scared team 309 as they quickly opened the door, however the punishment that they were assuming was just Mio on her knees with some books and dumbbell on the top of the stack of books. "Oh...it's you guys" Ujibe said. "Oh! Nozomi! Puppy!" Mio said "Why are you guys here? Did you both come to save your dear-".

"Nope" Miles and Nozomi said in quick unison "We were told by Hanabi that you had used a banned technique, is that true?".

"Hehehe...yeah" Mio admitted sheepishly "I kinda had to since I was cornered~. Aoba's got quite the cunning mind for someone so cute, so I did it by accident~".

"To hell with your accidents! It almost caused a disaster!".

Everyone looked over as they knew who that voice belonged to...

Kakuyo.

Team 309 looked at Kakuyo who was sitting in a chair a few feet away from everyone. She was silent until Mio spoke about using her banned technique as an accident. "Miss Kusakai, you have to be careful about how you use your techniques" Kakuyo calmly said to her "Those girls would be in serious trouble, and you wouldn't want that. Would you dear".

Mio just gave Kakuyo a narrow glare, she was the last person that she wanted to speak to her. "Yeah...sure" Mio muttered under her breath as she then turned back to Ujibe. "Kakuyo has a point on that part, it would have ended in disaster" Ujibe said.

"I'm sorry, if I hadn't done it, then I would have surely lost. I'm grateful to the staff! I really am! After all, they saved the Keijo career, of our amazingly talented young athlete. Right? Nozomi?" Mio said with a wink.

Nozomi caught on to what Mio was doing.

"Yes! I agree! Kazane Aoba trained and performed research day in and out" Nozomi said as Miles added in "Not only that, but Kazane can find out about people just by touching them" he said.

"Yeah! And she's a very promising player too!" Nozomi said.

Mio smirked at Ujibe "You heard them, what do ya think, teach?" Mio asked her. Ujibe sighed at them "Of course, I'm looking forward to seeing what she'll become" she said "It will be exciting to see her progress during the next half year".

Sayaka, Non, Miles, and Nozomi all smiled at her as they looked at Kazane.

"Ujibe approves, Kazane!" Miles said.

"Good for you, Kazane!" Non said cheerfully.

"You can stay with us" Sayaka said as she smiled at her.

Kazane just felt like crying, she was allowed to stay with her friends and crush. Kazane just looked at them before she smiled brightly. "Yeah, I get to stay" Kazane said. Unfortunately Ujibe had a few extra words to say.

"I'm also looking forward to how you 4 improve as well during the year" Ujibe said darkly "That's why you need to stop being so reckless and annoying me all the damn time! Don't come to the teachers office when it's past lights out!". The group quickly nodded as they bolted out the door, but not before Kakuyo stopped Miles.

"Miles, just a moment".

Miles stopped at the door as he turned to Kakuyo "What is it?".

Kakuyo hesitated to say something that was very important, something that he should hear as when she told Ujibe. She pondered about it for a bit, but then shrugged it off "It's nothing, forget it" she lied "Sleep well, and don't get anyone knocked up now" she teased. Miles rolled his eyes at her before leaving. Ujibe then nodded her head at Mio to leave, Mio was going to get out and fast, as her legs were killing her from her punishment. As soon as the door closed, Kakuyo and Ujibe looked at one another.

"Why didn't you tell him, Kakuyo? Sooner or later you're going to have to tell them" Ujibe said. Kakuyo just looked out the window, she blew a bit of her hair out of her face. "It's too soon to tell them yet, at least...not until Evako goes up against Miles and beats him in the East/West war".

"And if Evako wins the war, then what?".

Kakuyo then looked at Ujibe with all seriousness and coldness in her facial expression.

"Once Evako wins the East/West war, then I will keep her away from her brother and make her the most powerful Keijo player, just as I had plan to do with Miles before I found out that I gave birth to a failure" Kakuyo said without a second thought "I made Evako from the ground up into what she is now. I sent her to Suruga to be even stronger! If Evako cannot win that war, then what's the point of me being a mother to a second failure of a child".

Ujibe just looked at Kakuyo still as she then asked her another question.

"And what if Miles wins the war? Will you take him back-".

"Absolutely not! I don't want to be anywhere near him" Kakuyo countered "He could be the best player for all I care, but he'll never be my son".

"I see" Ujibe sighed "But know this, Kakuyo. The more bridges that you burn, that harder it will be to repair them. Including me, I can't be there for you forever" Ujibe warned her.

Kakuyo stood up as she made her way to the door, "I know, Ujibe...oh believe me. I know". And with that, she walk out of the room. Ujibe just watched her go as she walked over to the table and stared at the item that was left by Kakuyo. Hitomi came into the office.

"Oh, Ujibe. You're still here. I thought that you'd be going to sleep by now" she said.

"Room 309 was trying to get me to let Kazane to stay due to her failing the race against Mio. Needless to say I assured them that she would still stay". Hitomi sighed at her as she walked over to her, "So all 5 of room 309 had passed huh? Aren't you being a little too lenient?" Hitomi asked her.

Ujibe smiled at her "Having like-minded friends can really help you grow. It may look lenient to you, Hokuto, but do you not feel the urge to win this year? Against the East?" Ujibe finished with a smile.

Hitomi just looked at her for a bit 'I see, you aren't just being kind' she thought until she saw Ujibe look at something, she was curious as to what she was looking at, her wish was granted when Ujibe picked up the item and held it up.

"However...we do have one concerning matter..." Ujibe said to Hitomi.

"And that is?" Hitomi asked.

Ujibe sighed as she looked at the item in her hands.

"Kakuyo is pregnant...".

A/n: sorry this was short. I was at my job while writing the second half of this. So comments are all welcome, I have to head back to work. Next chapter will be team 309 going to the elite class and our boys going to Suruga.

Gotta go, latter.
