Chapter 39th

Meanwhile Loreile was explaining the plan to her sister Elizabeth in the car on the way over to their house. David was driving not truly believing what he was hearing. "I just can't believe you, Loreile that you would go along with the plan to have everyone think your divorcing as with this monster Hernandez? Do you realize that separating will only destroy your marriage between you and Gibbs?"

"I will need to do this with going along in order to protect me and the unborn child. Jethro doesn't wish to see us hurt when it's time to come back home." She replied with heartfelt pain in her chest.

"And what makes you think there will be home to go back to as with a husband since he's been suffering with his obsession to catch Hernandez?" Elizabeth had to say with wiping her eyes with a tissue from her purse. "What does Director Leon Vance have to say on the matter?"

"It's Vance idea as with other DOD members thinks it's a good idea to do this in order to catch a rat and it's cheese." Loreile will say with the term. She had tears falling down her face. "And my crazy husband went along with the idea and of course I was stupid enough to go through with it."

"It serves him right that you should actually go through with the divorce to put in a real scare into the man. You need to Loreile after all of the pain he has put you through." David said with weaving in and out of traffic on the main road leading to their house in Alexandria.

"I can't do that David. I told Gibbs that I will do this no matter how long it may take." She responded...

As for the NCIS agents they had arrived at the scene near the harbor for where the two dead marines were found. Doctor Palmer and his assistant had arrived as well bringing on down the stretcher and equipment.

Timothy McGee had to stay away from Gibbs with doing his job. He had already snapped at Torres and McGee for something stupid and they walked away to check the scene for any type of evidence.

Meanwhile Gibbs was talking to the local Fairfax police having found the bodies on the beach faced down and shot execution style. Special Agent Gibbs was standing next to the two bodies with Captain J. Lorenzo age 45 talking about another body found last week with the same execution shooting.

"Why wasn't NCIS called in onto the case?" Gibbs barked with the question. He was angry at himself and life at the moment.

"Because the F.B.I. was called in to take over the investigation." Captain J. Lorenzo had to say.

"Do you happened to know who was the agent on the case Captain?" Gibbs asked with looking around the area seeing Doctor Palmer and his assistant coming down the pied.

"Yeah I do. It was Special Agent Tobias Fornell. I actually still have his card in my wallet. Do you happened to know the agent?" He will have to asked the agent wandering with his mind a little.

"I have for almost twenty years Captain. Excuse me I have a case to investigate with my M.E. is now here."

"What do we have Gibbs with these two?" Palmer looked down to see the shots in both heads of the male marines. "Oh, my! It looks like these two have been executed Gibbs?" He responded with Gerald turning them both over to see other evidence having been stabbed as well...

"No kidding Palmer. Now get these two back to the autopsy bay as soon as possible before I slap you." He was angry as he walked away to head back up to the rest of his agents needing for answers.

McGee noticed Gibbs was coming back to them. "McGee were there any witnesses with the execution of these two marines? They were stabbed as well McGee."

"There was no one in the area of the shooting. However Torres is checking further when he walked back from the barrier to find something really interesting.

"What did you find Nick?" Gibbs directly had to asked with seeing the weapon used placed into an evidence bag.

"It's a 45 colt special Gibbs. I had made sure to use my pen to lift up the Colt from the sand and placed it into the evidence bag. This was the only item I had found." Torres quipped with shaking his head slightly upset at seeing this thing.

"Take it to Kasie when we get back to NCIS. Understand Agent Torres?" Gibbs harshly asked the question.

"Yeah I do sir." Nick looked over at McGee staying quiet needing to get back to their vehicle...

"McGee drive I have to call Fornell about this matter." He stated to his agents even though it just might get loud.

Inside the vehicle with them driving back to NCIS...

F.B.I. Headquarters...

Special Agent Tobias Fornell had just arrived back to his office exhausted working on the Fairfax, Virginia case and two others. What he needed was some quiet with rubbing his head with a headache beginning to start when his cell-phone had started to ring with the tone he picked out to be something simple like Gibbs.

"Tobias Fornell of the F.B.I. how can I help you, Gibbs?" He said to try and stay calm with his long time friend and a real pain in the ass.

"Fornell I have a bone to pick with you. Why didn't you contact NCIS and me about the Fairfax murder?" He was angry over the phone.

"Why? Because I was told by my boss to leave NCIS out of this with the case already nothing but trouble Gibbs. Even though I know your people are at the scene and no doubt yourself?"

"Yeah we were with the bodies being taken to NCIS with orders that your people to be coming down once Palmer does the autopsies on the two marines. Why the big deal Tobias?" He snapped at him over the phone.

"Why? Because the mafia is involved and we need to be extremely careful Gibbs. If your people are going to get involved please warn them." He stated with his tone not needing anymore bodies.

"I will Tobias. What are you doing this evening?" He needed to speak with him.

"Why?" He needed to know...

"Come to my house later and come down to my basement to discuss the case and other matters. Is all I will say for now with too many eyes on me. Understand?"

"Yeah." He hung up the phone to gather up his files on the case and the two marines financial records.
