Vetiver had been running from room to room for a while now. She already had one gift underway, now she just needed the other. She already had a gift in mind. Now she just needed to get it…or make it.
Another thing, what she had in mind, there was no way she could make it herself. She'd need help. Professional help. Thankfully, she lived with a few professionals.
Hazel blinked as she looked at the child. "Wait...so...you're telling me, you need a huge chunk of glass?" She asked with another blink.
Vetiver nodded with innocence. "Yup. I need a large one. I also need it to be pretty long too. I would also like for it to have tiny blue spatterings all over and inside." She noticed Hazel's quizzical expression. "It's for a friend. It's going to be a gift."
At that, Hazel nodded before waving into existence a rectangular prism of glass that perfectly fit her description. "Crystal clear with blue spattered shavings, right?"
Vetiver looked the glass over, afraid to touch it. "...Yes. This will do. Thanks, dad." She smiled brightly.
Hazel nodded with a smile of her own. "No problem. I will check in on you later. I have a cat to find...again." She said that last part with exasperation.
Vetiver nodded at that. "Alright!"
Vetiver tapped her chin when Hazel left. How was she going to move this large chunk of glass? She had already known she would need more help. Maybe the people she had in mind could be of assistance.
Vetiver left the sparkling block for a minute. When she returned, she had Triple G, George, Chester, and CJ along with her.
Triple G looked over the block of glass. "What did you want us to do again?" He tilted his head.
Vetiver answered. "Find a way to move this glass to the shop. We need to get to work fast! I want this done by tonight."
The three of them looked at each other in agreement before pondering over the glass.
George took this as an opportunity to demonstrate his skill. He raised his hand up, stirring the wind, and lifted the heavy glass this way.
Trip smiled widely. "Using your aerial abilities as a form of telekinesis? Nice!" He pointed in the direction of the shop. "Let's do this fast, but professional. Geo, you can make neon, right?"
George nodded at that. "Along with electricity and other gasses, yes. I also have some experience with fire and water if we need any of those assets."
Trip nodded happily. "Yes, we will. I'll need CJ to make runs and test sounds." Then, he turned to Vetiver and said, "We should be done a little before dinner. Give us till then."
Vetiver nodded at that with a bright smile. "Alrighty! In the meantime, I'll go look for some wrappers and bows!" She said before running off in a giggle fit.
The three adults smiled at that before continuing on their way.
CJ smirked before saying, "We're going to trick this thing out, aren't we?" She said with a raised eyebrow.
George smiled as Trip said, "What do you think?" Before shaking his head with a smile of his own.

"Minty! Minty!" Hazel called repeatedly as she tried to find her peppermint colored cat.
She looked under countless couches, chairs, tables, even dressers. At this moment in time, she was so close to giving up it didn't make any sense.
"Ahh! Minty where are you so I can stop screaming!" She called once more before flopping onto a nearby couch. Just like the other times, she was sure that she'd get no answer.
About a minute or so passed before the sound of footsteps approaching her filled the air. They grew louder and louder until the owner of them turned the corner to reveal it was none other than Hades...with a cat on his head? The god looked beyond irritated and exasperated as the kitten happily laid on his head like it was her bed.
Hazel looked at the god in amusement. She held back a laugh before saying, "You know what? It seems that she's quite happy where she is." She sat up on the couch.
Hades twitched at that as he stopped in front of her. "Oh, so you know this cat? If you do-get it off." He said before his voice turned icy at the last part. "Hades doesn't walk around with kittens who constantly say his hair is fluffy!" The god said while his head lit on fire and Minty only reacted by yawning a bit as she remained unaffected by his flames.
Hazel looked at him with a bored expression before looking at her cat. "I could try to get her off, but there's no guarantee she won't just...teleport back in that fluffy mo-hawk. Hmm...or should I say, cat-hawk." She chuckled a bit.
Hades only glared some more at that. "Get. It. Off." He said, enunciating every word with a twitch of his eyebrow.
Hazel smirked at the sight of the twitch before lazily rising. "Alright, alright. I'm coming." She said, after stretching and plainly taking her time. When she finally made it over there, she grabbed the cat by standing on her tippy toes. Then she held the kitten in her arms.
Minty yawned and pouted at the god. "You aren't any fun. Not my fault you have fluffy hair." She said while shaking her head.
Hades rolled his eyes at the cat. "I don't do cats, that would be Persephone that loves your kind. In case you haven't noticed, I work with hellhounds, not hellcats." He said in a grumpy manner as he turned to leave.
"Your wife sounds much more lovely than you!" Minty said before falling into a fit of laughter as Hades started to twitch again.
Hazel chuckled at that before saying, "Like I always say, dogs are from Hell and cats are from Heaven." She shrugged. "Don't mind him, he would much rather have animals that would be more than happy to digest his fingers." She said with a smirk.
Hades took a deep breath before whipping around. "Dogs are trainable, they can maul people, and they scare the shit out of people when they come charging at you. Cats are just fluffy little mongrels that are lazy and only live to be a menace. Sort of like my stupid sister Demeter, only alive to yelp and yell once I step out of Hell." He said in annoyance before looking up in thought at the last part.
Hazel scoffed before rolling her eyes. "Dog people. They just don't understand." She mumbled before saying, "That's because cats are nature's elegance and luxury pets. They already come pre-trained from birth and I don't have to worry about them chewing my shoes or drooling all over me." She stated the last part in a deadpan. "Not to mention. Dogs are loudmouths."
"And cats will scratch your eyes out. Fun fact from a man who works with dead people. If you were to die...the cat would eat you pretty fast...Dogs? They will wait weeks because they actually bond with their human or whatever instead of using them as if they are friends with benefits." Hades said in what almost seemed like a sassy manner as he folded his arms.
Hazel pondered this before saying, "Well...I'm immortal. So...I'll never die." She said before smirking. "And dogs will maul you. Scratching is not great, but I would rather take a scratching than getting mauled to death." She replied calmly.
"Don't even bother with the immortal card, missy, even gods can be killed and stay dead for a bit before they return. Besides, dogs only maul you if you are either a shitty owner or you trained them to do that. I train my dogs to do that because of all the moronic idiots who have tried to break into the Underworld. I can't always handle every single demigod who wants something-I have a business with dead people." Hades said with a huff as he frowned.
Hazel clapped her hands together. "And that reminds me. I have business to do myself. Ah...as much as I love a good debate, I don't want to burn the house down or anything else in a ten-mile radius. Me and my cat will catch you on the flip side. Oh! You have some furs in your cat-hawk." She said, gesturing to his head.
Hades' only response to that was him flipping her the bird and teleporting away in a column of blue fire.
Hazel laughed at that before thinking, "Why do I love picking with people? Especially the ones with the shortest fuse." She shook her head before looking down at her cat. "Hades' hair, really?"
"He was watching some people game...and his hair looked so fluffy...And it was!" Minty finished with a happy giggle and meow.
Hazel shook her head at the kitten. "Fine. I'll let that slide since it was fun to pick with him. On another note, it's time for you to eat and take another catnap." She explained before walking.
"But I was already asleep on his head...he only noticed when I yawned and this winged lady pointed me out and he sorta went crazy," Minty said with a thoughtful look before tilting her head.
Hazel looked at the cat in a quizzical manner. "How many hours have you gotten today?"
The cat shrugged. "I wasn't counting." She said simply with an innocent look on her face.
"Minty, you need at least fifteen hours a day in sleep. If you're not keeping count, I can't record your daily sleeping activity…" She said the last part with a complainant tone.
"Why is it even important? I didn't get this as a dog." Minty said with a pout.
"Because dogs don't sleep as much as cats." She explained with ease while the kitten over. "I have to make sure your body is performing well."
Minty's eyes halved at her. "I'm a kitten, not a newborn baby." She deadpanned with an annoyed meow.
Hazel responded as she walked into her room. She checked Minty's eyes before she set the cat on her bed. "I am aware. I'm just doing some routine cat pet maintenance, that's all." She explained while pulling out a can of tuna for the kitten.
"Vehicles get maintenance, not cats." Minty deadpanned with exasperation heavy in her voice.
Hazel glanced at the cat in a deadpan. "They get checkups, don't they? Speaking of, I might need a vet for you…" She said with thought as she opened the can and set it down for the kitten.
"Mortal pets get check-ups, not pets from literal Hell. Since Cerberus is technically my mom...you could say even my mother hasn't had a check-up. If she had, she'd stop the puppy breeding." Minty said with an annoyed look. "Besides, your girlfriend said I'm already in good health, and since I am what I am...she finds it unlikely that I will have any illnesses." She finished with a 'how do you like that?' look on her face.
"But-" Hazel began. "It is still possible for your fur to get matted. You can still get dirty. If I don't brush you, you'll shed all over my room…" She counted. "That reminds me." She went to retrieve her cat brush.
Minty shook her head at her. "None of those require a vet! A groomer, yes, plus a good brush every day. A vet is required when you can get sick and need medicine...not a bath or a brushing." She said before finishing in a deadpan.
Hazel blinked before asking, "Oh. Are we still talking about the vet? My mind was...somewhere else." She shook her head. "Anyway, we've established no vet. Although, I don't see how this ties to you getting the proper amount of cat naps." She said, holding the brush.
"You're the one who brought up the vet topic," Minty said with halved eyes.
Hazel nodded at that. "Ah, right." Then she finally noticed the kitten's expression. "What?"
"Tracking my sleep? Freaking out over my fur? You are more...worrisome than new parents." Minty said while her tail swished back and forth. "I'm not a normal pet, meaning I don't follow the stuff on the internet. So...you don't need to get all upset because I just randomly take naps without setting a timer every time." She stated while sitting up and staring at her.
Hazel looked at her for a moment before saying, "I see. I'm being a bother, aren't I? Eh, all animals tell me that at some point. I'll just leave you be if you want space." She said playing with the bristles of the brush before walking to put the brush back.
Minty sighed at that. "I don't want space...I just want to be treated like a cat, not something that you have to monitor at all hours of the day. I sleep when I do and I probably get more than 15 hours most days. Just...I don't have a watch on my leg like all those other cats." She said as she laid down. "I mean-Nobody else has treated me like I need to be watched all the time with a set of rules in mind and Terra seems pretty by the book…"
Hazel put the brush in its proper place. "It's probably just a me thing. I always have a planned schedule and little schedules inside of that schedule. I was just making sure I kept you up to my standards since I am aware of how much responsibility owning a pet requires. Especially a magical pet."
Minty tilted her head. "Well...In terms of magical pets...I'm not really much of a problem to care for in relation to the two other puppies. Why do you think Hades chose me out of them all? It wasn't just because I was pink, it was because he noticed I didn't require as much care as the normal puppies." She smiled a bit. "But, if you still want something to care for and be responsible like that for, I'm sure Heidi and Audrey will be trying to get someone to handle a baby for a bit." She said with a giggle as her eyes filled with mischief.
Hazel shrugged at that. "Honestly, I think I suck at handling kids. Babies scare me." She said the last part in a deadpan.
"Huh, the funny thing is...Hades said the same thing then ran back one day with a grin since his daughter had a baby. The purple one, not Heidi." Minty said, clarifying the bit at the end.
Hazel made a face before standing and making her way over to check on her prospering potted plants. "...I think I should stick to animals and plants." She said, knowing that her walls had come up again.
"You know...I didn't spend a lot of time with anyone besides Hades. Mainly because the Underworld is his and whatnot." Minty began as she turned before flopping on her side. "But he always kept on saying how he would never have or even deal with kids after he claimed he screwed up all three of his. Heidi, he trained to be a weapon, Mal he only wanted for his plan, and Hadie he...quite literally, only had in hopes that he would be a good 'soldier' when he invaded Olympus. You can probably guess the look he had on his face when Mal ran up to him and told him that he was gonna be a grandpa. It's one thing for him to deal with a teenager, but apparently, anything below the age of ten freaks him out." The cat told her as she rolled over a bit.
"Interesting." She replied in mild interest while she micromanaged her plants. She made sure not one speck of dirt was where it shouldn't have been.
"He later said that it was because he claimed himself to be this sort of ultimate evil that corrupted anything pure." Minty continued while wiping at her ear with her paw. "And kids, unless they are teenagers, are usually pure, in his eyes at least. I don't know what he was told...but it all just vanished one day." She said with a bit of confusion on her face. "I guess...he realized that maybe he wasn't the ultimate evil."
Hazel shrugged at that before searching for something else to occupy herself with. "Perhaps. I just don't deal with children, period." She said as she moved about the room.
"Maybe that's why Hades and you argue...because you are so much alike," Minty commented with a head tilt.
Hazel's head whipped around at that with a face of pure shock. "I am nothing like that guy! He's old, I'm young. He wears blue and black, I wear white and red. He burns stuff down while I'm creating. How are we alike!?" She questioned with her hands on her hips.
"Your personalities. Your deepest fears." Minty said with a calm look.
Hazel went silent at that before frowning. "...I don't want to deal with kids for another reason." She grumbled while folding her arms.
"It's a belief in yourself, isn't it? Much like how Hades believed that he couldn't care for a child after he failed multiple times, had one child hate him for many years and another barely know him." Minty said with tilting her head up.
Hazel shot a glare at the kitten before saying, "I am not discussing the matter. It's personal." She stated stubbornly.
"But if you continue to run you will always have that belief. If you can come to terms with it...you'll feel better. Hades may seem like an absolute grump and a menace...but he didn't run when he found out about Audrey. If he hadn't gotten past that belief, he would have locked himself up like you are doing and that only hurts you more." Minty said, equally as stubborn as the girl.
"It's for the best," Hazel said in an icy tone. "If anyone has any kids, that's not my business. I know when to keep my distance or take my leave." She made her way to a chair and made herself comfortable.
"You don't know if it is for the best. That is the fear talking, the deepest fear that you shared with another that overcame his. It will drag you down and down until the weight and pressure become unbearable and you will try to do anything to get it off. Anything except talking about it with someone who wants to talk." Minty said as she stared her down.
Hazel closed her eyes tightly. "I don't want to talk about it. It's in the past. I want to keep it there." She said stubbornly.
"But why let the past weigh down the present? Why don't you just want to start anew? To realize that if it is in the past...that you have another chance to do something else?" Minty hopped off the bed and began making her way over.
Hazel grumbled before saying, "You don't know me. You don't know what I've done." She said heavily.
"No, I don't. But I know what that fear is and while it may have been in somebody who is just as grumpy before he got over that fear, it doesn't mean that admitting it will make you into an old grumpy man like Hades. He allowed that fear to stir for decades until something snapped him out of it." Minty said before sitting at Hazel's feet. "Do you really want to sit and let that fear grow stronger for many decades when you could talk about it right now?"
Hazel glanced at the kitten before eyeing the door. "I still don't want to talk about it." She said, her breath now skipping and sped up.
Minty noticed and purposefully decided to hug her leg. "...I heard something from Amorette who was listening to Audrey. She...wanted to incorporate part of your name into one of the babies. I just thought I should tell you before Amorette starts blabbering and gossiping to all high heavens about it." She said quietly, looking away as she half expected the girl to ignore her.
Hazel blinked a few times before slowly looking down. "She...what?" She asked in nearly a whisper.
"According to Amorette, it was Heidi who came up with the idea...only it was nearly a year ago and she picked the name Haze. Audrey thought it was sweet and a good way to ah...honor the people who helped her when there was no one else. I'm pretty sure she was going to do it all along, especially since she said it was one of the names Heidi was stubborn about." Minty explained while attempting to climb up her leg.
Hazel licked her lip as she looked around. Her eyes changed many colors. She looked down at her leg in deep thought. While she was doing this, she subconsciously embraced herself as if she was cold. She just continued to get carried away in thought, temporarily forgetting that the kitten was there.
Minty let out a meow as she managed to climb up into Hazel's lap. She let out a sigh of relief at the fact that she made it to her lap before blinking at Hazel and placing her paw on one of her arms.
Hazel looked at the kitten before sighing. "I was...young when it happened. I lived in an orphanage along with some other kids. They used to pick on me...a lot because I was the least favorite due to my 'special needs'. One day, I had been pushed to my limit. A few seconds later, the building was covered in fire. There was an earthquake...very few lived to tell the tale." She sighed at that. "I...lost someone I cared about. I just can't be around kids. Fragile things. Babies. They scare me because I am scared of myself. I don't want to crush or stab, or poison, or scratch, or burn, or choke, anyone. But that's what my powers do." She said while looking at the ground.
Minty tilted her head. "...Just because your powers have caused disasters doesn't mean you should hide away in fear for them and yourself. There are many out there with destructive and deadly powers, Hades with his power over fear and death, Heidi with her fire and inner rage that cannot be quelled at times...even the most peaceful beings have caused harm before. The only reason they aren't all hiding...is because they took a chance. They found somebody to help them and they grew stronger and lost the fear. It didn't happen overnight, as I said about Hades...it took him lifetimes to truly see that he wasn't going to hurt or destroy something as small as a baby." She the girl while laying down.
"That's great for him...but I just can't." Hazel said while trying to keep her breath steady. "Heidi and Audrey's kids...that's huge...and I'm happy for them. I really am...but that's not my concern." She said, still steadying her breath.
"What if one of them were to try and hand you one? What if they want you included and not just a friend?" Minty questioned with a small frown. "Heidi and Audrey wouldn't leave you out…"
Hazel quickly shook her head with a panicked expression. "No...no...no. Not me. Ara, yes, but not me. I-I-I can't." She shook her head. "I'm the screw up for a reason. Nothing goes right with me. I'm the oddball. The blacksheep? No...I can't do it." She shook her head.
"Hazel. The people that want to include you...are black sheep as well. Heidi, daughter of one of the most infamous villains in history, Audrey, the princess who threw away her chance to be a queen and was disowned by her kingdom, and Hades, who you may think hates you, the god who was abandoned the minute he drew the short straw. You think you are the only screw up here? Those three are also in that book! Nothing has ever gone right and on plan for those three and I'm pretty sure they are all social outcasts at this point." Minty said while sitting up and placing her paw on Hazel's arm. "You think you'll screw something up? Try imagining how one of the fireheads feel...the panic in their heads is something to be seen alright." She finished with a bit of amusement in her voice.
"...I'll...think about it." Hazel said with a conflicted expression.
"Remember...You aren't alone here. Any of those three would say the same and even if they knew what happened in the past...they wouldn't judge it. Especially Hades...he has done things and wouldn't make you feel bad or anything...Just, remember that, okay?" Minty tilted her head at her awaiting her answer.
Hazel, who was back to fixing her breathing, nodded. "...Okay."
"If you need someone to talk to...I'm here, Terra has an open ear, and those three would be happy to listen to you." Minty said quietly with a small smile.
Hazel nodded instead of answering as she placed her hand on her chest. She slowly felt her heart rate slowing. Because of this, she slowly began to calm herself.
Minty chose to lay down and curl up in a ball before she began purring as she slowly fell asleep in the girl's lap.
Hazel looked down at the kitten before reaching down to pet the cat. She reached her hand out to touch her, yanked her hand back a bit, then finally petting her gently. Hazel carefully monitored her hand's pressure levels before returning back to her thoughts.
…
Audrey was sucking on a dumdum when she noticed her wife tumble in with her sack that was filled to the brim with stuff. Setting her book down, she tilted her head at the bluenette. "Since when did you decide to become Santa this year?" She asked in amusement.
Heidi hoisted the massive bag a bit before setting it down with a bit of trouble. "Since now, don't expect me to dress up for Christmas." She said, taking a deep breath and sighing. "Even for me, that is heavy."
"What did you buy?" Audrey asked with confusion on her face.
"Stuff. A lot of stuff." Heidi said simply while bending over a bit and resting her palms on her knees. "Not telling."
Audrey pouted at that and folded her arms. "Why won't you tell me?"
"Because you won't act surprised if I do." Heidi deadpanned before flopping on a sofa and closing her eyes.
Audrey shook her head at that before picking up her book. "Fine." She grumbled out in an unhappy manner, prompting Heidi to snicker a bit at her tone.
Just then, a huffing puffing Vetiver ran into the room with a red wagon in tow. Inside the wagon was an object covered by a blanket, but a pink gift box on top. "Mom...I wanted...to talk." She said, pulling the wagon in the room and gaining her breath back.
Audrey blinked at that. "Did you run all the way here?" She asked in surprise, glancing at Heidi who was still a bit tired by the looks of things.
Vetiver grabbed the small box. "I've been running since we came back from the mall." She said, struggling to climb onto the bed with a box in her hand.
"Ditto…" Heidi said while lazily waving her hand.
Audrey ignored her wife for a moment to look at the girl. "I guess everyone has been busy today, except me, apparently." She said with a small head tilt.
When Vetiver finally made it onto the bed. She took a few deep breaths to steady her breathing. "Mama, I wanted to thank you for everything you've done for me. You've been super nice to me...and you treat me like your kid despite how confusing and weird my situation is. I, uh, felt like a freeloader still...so I got you something." She said, shyly holding out the small pink box with a red bow on top.
Audrey smiled at her before accepting the box. She carefully undid the bow before lifting the lid, after she did this and spotted the pink and red pearl necklace, her eyes widened. "Veti...You didn't need to do this." She said softly, bringing the girl into a hug while Heidi flailed a bit in the background to see what was going on.
Vetiver smiled at that. "Of course I did. I wanted to show you how much you mean to me. What better way to do that than with a priceless gift?" She said with a tilt of her head.
"Ah, you're right. Then again, hugs also work like a charm." Audrey said with a giggle.
Vetiver shrugged at that. "Then I'll just give you both!" She said before hugging the woman. "Love you, mama."
"Love you too, sweetheart," Audrey said with a wider smile before giggling as she pulled away. "Oh, Heidi, you need to see what she got me!" She said as she began to try and get up.
Heidi waved her hand from her upside-down position. "I'll see it in a bit. Just stay there." She said with a bit of exasperation, most likely from her position halfway off of the couch.
Vetiver scooted off the bed. "I begged Susanoo to help me and I triple begged Ama to help him! That's how I got your present, mama." Then she turned to Heidi. "As for you, if you don't sit up, you won't be able to see your gift." She said, walking over to the wagon.
"If it wasn't painfully obvious, I'm stuck like this. Long story short, Hermes spotted me in the mall and we competed for awhile until he eventually just decided to buy me food." Heidi said with a small shrug as Audrey looked at her in a deadpan.
Vetiver tilted her head at that. "Well...I'll just leave it on the table then." She said as she tore the blanket off of Heidi's gift.
She looked proudly over the instrument before picking it up and carefully placing it on the table. It was an electric guitar with a transparent glass body. The bridge was made out of smooth dark wood and the strings were golden. She shined the golden tuning knobs. Then she gave the guitar a slight tap before it began to glow blue.
Vetiver looked it over before moving to pick up the blanket. "Alrighty. I'm gonna clean up a bit before I head out for dinner or something." She said, cleaning up a bit.
Audrey spoke up while Heidi eyed the guitar with wide eyes. "Oh, actually...I think there might be a little thing that Heidi got for you. She hasn't told me what's in the santa-sized sack over there...but it's just a bit of intuition that it's got to be for either you or Kirby. Heidi, who is it for?" She said before sitting up to the best of her ability to look at the bluenette.
"Just...look at it…" Heidi mumbled out, completely focused on the guitar.
Audrey blinked. "I'm gonna take it as a yes."
Vetiver blinked before walking over to the admittedly large sack. She peered into the sack with a raised eyebrow before her eyes widened. "What? A bubble machine?" She said with a grin before going through more things, "Bow and arrow set? Super soakers?! How many things did you get me!?" She said with a large grin as she pulled out a large pink fluffy blanket and wrapped herself with it.
"Well...She did say she bought a lot." Audrey commented while tilting her head.
Vetiver dug through all the toys she could dig through before squeaking in excitement, "You got me a giant bubble wand! I love it!" She said before running over to the bluenette. "Thank you, Heidi!" And gave the woman the best hug she could give in Heidi's position.
"Uh...huh. Plushies…" Heidi mumbled out, still clearly in daydream land.
Vetiver looked at Heidi in amusement before gently grabbing the guitar and taking it over to Heidi. "I wanted to repay you as well since you treat me beyond descent." She said with a smile. "See look. It has your name engraved in the back!" She said while grinning.
"Heh...So dad can't steal it." Heidi said while chuckling.
Vetiver looked down at it briefly before asking, "That means you like it?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
Heidi nodded in a bit of a daze. "Very much so...Did you see everything?" She asked, most likely referring to the giant bag.
Vetiver nodded before thinking. "Well...most of everything. What I did see, I really liked so far. You didn't have to do all of that…" She said with a smile.
"Call it irrational buying...but it just sorta happened. Once I reached a game store...those plushies had no chance." Heidi said with a chuckle as she closed her eyes.
Vetiver smiled wider. "I love all of the plushies. I'm going to have waaaay less space to sleep in my bed tonight." She said with laughter.
"Ah...I can make it a bit bigger if you need. I'm good at making things bigger." Heidi said with a small shrug. "Oh...there are a few bigger things in there that I shrunk down a bit to fit in the bag." She added on with a tilt of her head.
Vetiver tilted her head at that. "Huh? Like what?"
"Dune buggy...I think there's a bounce house...I know that there is at least one gaming console in there." Heidi said while scratching the side of her head.
Vetiver, who was paying attention up until she saw a sparkly pink ball of something fly out of the garden blinked. "Wait...did you say a dune buggy...and a bounce house?" She blinked in excitement before continuing. "By the way, there was a sparkly pink thing flying out of the garden."
Heidi, who appeared to snap out of her daze, quickly got up as she recovered before scowling. "...PIIIIIIINKYYYYYYY!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as a crash nearby sounded soon after. She walked out into the garden. "I'm gonna kick your ass for that!" She yelled before promptly following a trail of pink glowing dust.
Audrey's eyes halved. "Well, there she goes." She deadpanned as she went to grab another dumdum from the massive bag next to her.
Vetiver sat the instrument down before sighing. "My mission for the day is complete. Now, I can rest." She said happily as she laid on the couch.
Audrey managed to get up and walked over to the bag before pulling out a second blanket that was pastel pink with pink and red roses. "I think you missed a blanket," Audrey said with a giggle as she held it.
Vetiver sat up before looking it over with another large smile. "It's perfect!" She said before getting the blanket from her mother and hugging it.
Audrey giggled at that before looking back at the bag. "Let's see...huh, she got you a pool floatie." She said, lifting the shrunken down object up. "It's rose gold...and it's a mermaid one." She said with a smile. "Now we don't have to hunt one down at the castle."
The girl smiled at the sight of the floatie. "Cool! Now I can float with style!" She said with a giggle.
Audrey nodded in agreement as she began to pull stuff out. "Pogo stick, laser tag, water balloon launcher, giant jenga, some kites, games, oh...and some RC Mario Cart Racers." She said as she subconsciously sorted them into separate areas.
Vetiver's eyes widened at all of the toys. She bounced eagerly before grinning widely. "She is getting so many hugs when she gets back!" The girl uttered happily.
"She would greatly enjoy that after she deals with...the problem child as she puts it." Audrey said with a giggle.
Vetiver nodded at that. "In the meantime, we can sort through all of this stuff." She smiled at all of the toys.
Audrey nodded. "Oh, and I can show you my bedazzled switch!" She said before happily going about looking for it.
Vetiver nodded happily before throwing the blanket over her head like a hood. "Yes, please!" She said as she made her way over to the toy sorting area.
