Joker/Akira

"Ya know, there's something mysterious about Joker here, but I can't put my finger on it." Pit said.

"Well, he is wearing a mask." Palutena said.

"He calls himself Joker and yet, I'm not seeing him wearing face paint." Viridi said. "Sure, he has a gun and a knife, but I'm not seeing any scars on his cheeks. Does he even have a Persona that resembles a bat?"

"I dunno, but one thing's for sure…" Pit chuckled. "We all know that for his neutral special, he wields a gun!"

"Pardon the interruption."

"Wah! Who said that?!" Pit yelped.

"I did. I am Arsene."

"Oh! You're that Persona that tends to hang around Akira, correct?" Palutena asked.

"That is correct. I am his other self. I came to his aid in his time of need, and thus he was reborn as a Phantom Thief, along with his… shall we say, loud mouth of a friend. Joker is not to be taken lightly. He may seem like an ordinary teenager, but do not be deceived. He is quite agile."

"Yeah, I read the Gaiden. Sephiroth had a hard time with him." Viridi said.

"Indeed. While the Phantom Thieves can use our skills without our help, as with Joker can use Eiha without my assistance… their powers are much more powerful when we are summoned. Plus, I help him recovery exceptionally well. I believe I fly further than that squid girl."

"Okay, help me out with something." Pit said. "What's the difference between Tetrakarn and Makarakarn?"

"Tetrakarn works against Melee attacks. Makarakarn works against projectiles."

"Ah! Now I get it!"

"Joker is quite dangerous, and when I come out to play, he is a force to be reckoned with. As you know, he can change direction in his Final Smash should he miss his target and when he connects, he calls his friends to aid him in an all out attack. It is quite stylish if I say so myself."

"Especially with that finishing pose. Oh man, is that cool!" Viridi said.

"Indeed. I wish you good luck against Joker. He will not show mercy to those who he battles."

"Does that include his mother?" Pit wondered. "I've seen Bayonetta pampering him a lot."

"Indeed. I've never seen her so affectionate, yet when he arrived… she was like a whole different person." Palutena mused. "I wonder why?"

"…That's classified."

"Oh, typical…" Pit grumbled.

Morgana

"I see the Phantom Thieves have a mascot." Viridi said. "It's a cute kitty!"

"He's not a cat." Palutena said.

"Oh really? His disguise is a regular black cat, but when he goes into his Phantom Thief attire, he has the spitting image of a cat. Tell me, if that's not a "cat", then what is he?"

"He claims he's a human." Pit said. "So maybe he's related to Blake?"

"Doubt it!" Viridi rolled her eyes.

"Despite being cat like, Morgana has exceptional wind magic at his disposal and it gets stronger when he calls out his Persona, Zorro." Palutena said.

"Isn't his Arcana the "Magician?" Viridi asked. "So like, he's a magical cat…"

"He's not a cat." Palutena reminded.

"Let me have this!"

"From what I can tell, the Magician arcana lets you craft recipes and the ability to steal items via melee attacks." Palutena explained. "Which would explain why I saw him take that Beam Sword away from Jaune the other day…"

"So he can steal items with melee attacks?! Well, glad to know what he'll be doing if we have items on. He'll just steal our items we're gonna use… and then I'd be the one getting fried by Tapu Koko…" Pit shuddered.

"There's also the fact that he can heal up his allies, which is pretty useful in a Team Battle." Viridi said.

"Despite him being resistant to wind attacks, he is weak to electric attacks." Palutena said. "So, make sure you have electricity with you at all times… or just sic Pichu or Pikachu on him."

"Or Nora." Pit added.

"For his Final Smash, he turns into a van and runs you over. If he connects, then he will unleash Magarudyne, which is his most powerful Wind spell attack. You will then be blown away where he will turn into a van and then run you down where you will be sent flying away. Simple, yet effective." Palutena said.

"So he's a cat, yet he can turn into a van… aaagh, I'm confused!" Viridi groaned.

"Don't think about it too much." Palutena giggled.

Ryuji/Skull

"Oh great, it's the loud mouth! Probably louder than Yang and Nora combined!" Viridi exclaimed.

"I don't think he's that bad… then again, he is rather happy go lucky… like more so than Owain." Palutena said.

"Argh, matey! He's gonna plunder those ships and sink them down to Davy Jones' locker!" Pit said in a pirate voice.

"…Pit, I will pay you 100 hearts to never sound like a pirate again!" Viridi said.

"What? His Persona is Captain Kidd! …Or is it Seiten Taisei now?" Pit wondered.

"Regardless of his Persona, Ryuji tends to fight using his bat and if things get interesting, he will let his electric magic do the talking. He can also use Charge for his down special to briefly power himself up for a more devastating physical blow."

"How devastating are we talking?" Viridi asked.

"Oh, he'll inflict 2.5x damage on his next attack."

"Whoa! That's a bit overkill!" Pit paled at thought of getting hit by that.

"Indeed, his electric attacks will send you reeling in pain. I've heard that he and Nora get along rather well." Palutena said.

"So we got a juvenile delinquent charging up his electrical attacks, wields a nailed bat… goodness, I'm surprised the police in Shibuya haven't arrested him yet."

"For his Final Smash, he will swing his club and hit you over the head with it. If it connects, you will be launched onto a small tropical island where Ryuji will be on top of a pirate ship, and with Captain Kidd by his side, they will fire electric cannonballs that will land near you, and with a snap of the fingers, they will explode and send you flying."

"Just thinking of that makes me a big tingly…" Viridi said.

"That'd make anyone have a bad hair day." Pit sweatdropped.

"That's what you're concerned about?" Viridi rolled her eyes. "Typical."

"Despite Ryuji being pretty powerful with electric attacks, he doesn't do so well with wind magic. Which might explain why he and Morgana doesn't get along."

"Nah, I think it's more of a clashing of personalities type of deal." Viridi said. "Oooor maybe it's just Morgana can't handle his idiocy… one of the two."

Ann/Panther

"And here we have Ann Takamaki, also known as Panther as her Phantom Thief attire." Palutena said.

"Red panther? Eh, I prefer my panthers pink." Pit said.

"There's no such thing as a pink panther, Pit. There's only black ones." Viridi told him. "Besides, pink ones won't blend in to their surroundings."

"Wanna bet?"

"Ann here is known for her fire power, literally. Her magic consists of fire, and she can also debuff her enemy's attack power, which she can do for her neutral special. With a flick of her whip, she will send you flying and then use her acrobatic skills to knock you senseless."

"Oh great, another whip user?!" Pit whimpered. "It's bad enough with the Belmonts!"

"True, but Ann doesn't spam throw axes and crosses." Palutena pointed out. "She can also heal her allies in a Team Battle, so Ann is pretty much a strong opponent. That being said, she's ironically weak to ice. So she may have a hard time with the Ice Climbers, Weiss and Winter. Maybe even Lucas and Luminary if they want to use PK Freeze and Kacrackle Slash."

"Fire weak to Ice? That's a new one…" Pit said.

"When Ann calls out Carmen, her fire power doubles… and when she uses Concentrate as her down special, she can inflict double damage for her next magical attack. 2.5, to be exact."

"So, without Carmen, Concentrate doubles her magic power. With Carmen, it doubles again." Viridi mused. "So really, we're looking at a quadruple damage from her magic!"

"I think I'm gonna need a burn heal… or two… or fifty." Pit sweatdropped.

"For her Final Smash, Ann will wrap her whip around you as she will bring you close and then flip kick you up in the air, then she will jump up and kick you down to the ground where she will unleash her ultimate fire spell: Blazing Hell. When it hits the ground, not only will there be a powerful explosion, but the ground will burn for several seconds. So if you did not get hit by the Final Smash, the aftermath will."

"Scratch that, I need a hundred Burn Heals!" Pit exclaimed.

"I just hope she doesn't use that in a forest, otherwise she's going to hear from me!" Viridi said with a huff.

Yusuke/Fox

"Oh there's Yusuke!" Pit said. "I wonder if he paints little trees…"

"Wrong artist." Viridi said while rolling her eyes.

"Yusuke Kitagawa, also known as Fox as his Phantom Thief code name, is a thriving artist in the world of paint." Palutena explained.

"How many Fox's do we have now?" Pit asked. "Fox McCloud, Fox Alistair… now this guy."

"Despite him being an artist, he will freeze you up if you're not careful, for he has ice magic for his abilities. He can also buff up party members for a short time, so be careful if you see him in a team battle. Won't be long until you're KO'd in a Team Stamina battle." Palutena said.

"Yusuke also fights gracefully and will sometimes use his paintbrush to attack. It's like ink damage from the Inklings, though not as completely noticeable. At least he doesn't have an ink roller." Viridi said.

"Indeed, and he also has a High Counter move which only works for physical attacks."

"Greeeeat, another counter! Like we haven't seen THAT before!" Viridi said sarcastically.

"Let me guess, since Yusuke has ice… I'm willing to bet that he's weak to fire." Pit said.

"That is correct, but unlike Ryuji and Morgana, these two get along rather well… though his decisions for modeling her is a bit… risque." Palutena said. "Anyway, as usual, his ice powers double when he calls upon Goemon."

"What's his Final Smash? Freezing someone to death?"

"Nope. He pulls out an easel and then swings it down on top of you where you will be trapped in his painting. He will then paint a picture of you covered in ice and with a stroke of his brush, he will take a good look at the ice sculpture before he pulls out a sledgehammer and swing it hard enough to shatter not only his painting, but you as well. If you're unlucky enough to be over 100%, it's an instant KO."

"Yikes… that's a way to go." Pit paled.

"Hope you brought a heater, because you're definitely gonna be chilled to the bone~!" Viridi giggled.

Makoto/Queen

"Now THIS is a girl I can get behind!" Dark Pit said.

"Hmm? You like something about Makoto?" Palutena asked.

"Of course. Makoto was your every day girl that allowed people to walk all over her. She was basically a door mat. However, the moment she unlocked her Persona, she became a different person. Not to mention she gets a sweet bike that she can mow people down with! Then there's her abilities where can practically use nuclear magic to send her opponents flying. What's not to like about her?"

"So you like her because she got out of her shell?" Viridi asked. "Or is it that "sweet bike" that you mentioned?" She gave him a knowing smirk.

"As if I'd ever tell you. She's been stepped on all the time, now she will be the one who'll-"

"Whoa now, let's not go crazy here!" Pit exclaimed.

"What Dark Pit said was true however. She does have nuclear magic that will devastate you if you are not careful. She also heals up her allies."

"Geez, these Phantom Thieves sure know a lot of healing magic." Viridi said.

"For her down special, she will use Nuke Amp… which um, how do I put this…"

"She will strengthen her Nuclear attacks by 50%, which will totally annihilate any lightweights that she's going against." Dark Pit said.

"Welp, I guess you can kiss Jigglypuff goodbye…" Pit shuddered.

"Her physical capabilities are definitely strong and can easily overwhelm you if you're not careful. She can also buff up her ally's defense. However, she is weak to psychic attacks, so chances are, Mewtwo, Ness, Lucas and even Xena can wipe the floor with her. Maybe even Rosalina."

"Despite her weakness, her Final Smash is awesome." Dark Pit said. "She will use Johanna to run you over, and when that connects, she will hop off her bike and deliver powerful nuclear punches where she will then grab you and then pummel you into the ground where she will then unleash an Atomic Flare that will ruin your day. And if you're over 100%, you can kiss your stock goodbye!"

"I never took Pittoo to be such a fanboy over Makoto…" Pit said.

"Well, he does like bad girls…" Palutena said. "Not to mention she's making a name for herself after she unlocked her Persona. She's even willing to break a few rules if she wants to."

"Isn't she dating Akira? Don't think Dark Pit will have a chance." Viridi said.

"I don't care. I will always root for her when she is in a match." Dark Pit said.

"Ooookay, glad to know Makoto has someone rooting for her." Pit scratched the back of his head. "Then again, I always cheer for Ruby so hey, I'm one to talk." He chuckled.

Futaba/Oracle

"Futaba? I thought she wasn't much of a fighter." Pit said.

"I'm not, but I will sit comfortably in Necronomicon and power up my allies."

"Oh, you're joining us for this segment?" Palutena asked.

"Of course! I'm not much of a fighter, but I will either buff or heal my allies if I want to. That said, if Necronomicon takes too much damage, it retreats and then I will be forced to fight. However, I do have technomancy on my side so I will definitely call upon a weapon and dish out damage if I want to. Guns, melee weapons, depends on my mood. I can still heal my allies if I'm close to them."

"Though, considering you're not great at fighting, I'm imaging it doesn't take much to take you down." Viridi said.

"Sadly, no… but my brother is teaching me a few things so I'm slowly getting better. I just need to, ya know, learn how to take a hit or two. Ugh, why must I be so fragile… I'm not that strong either!"

"That's a bummer…" Pit said.

"Yeah, but I'll find a way to get past that. I always do… after all, I finally broke out of my shell and became more sociable so… progress! Unfortunately, I'm still weak…" Futaba sighed.

"Oh, cheer up! The most you can do is buff up your allies. You're useful!" Palutena smiled.

"Yeah, yeah, you're right on that!"

"Do you even have a Final Smash?" Viridi asked.

"I do… but it's not very flashy. I just throw down a few bombs and they explode. Nothing too fancy, really. Maybe I can find a way to be a bit more creative with it…"

"You know, I'm curious about something, Futaba." Pit spoke up.

"Oh?"

"You're always in your room in the Smash Mansion and you're busy typing away at the computer. All I keep hearing is that you're in the middle of hacking something… what are you hacking anyway?"

"That's a secret~!" Futaba giggled. "I just need to get past a few more firewalls and I can see what I'm dealing with. Perhaps I can up the security of Remnant or perhaps mess with the bad guys. You'll never it coming~!"

"I guess we'll be in for a Last Surprise?" Pit grinned.

"Heeeey!"

"Oh great, here we go…" Viridi groaned.

Haru/Noir

"And here we have the last of the Phantom Thieves, Haru. Codename: Noir." Palutena said.

"She does look rather fancy with that outfit!" Pit said. "Though the axe kinda… unnerves me a bit."

"You should see her other weapon. It's a freakin' grenade launcher!" Viridi said.

"Oh dear…" Pit paled.

"Not only that, but I've heard that despite Haru being shy, level-headed and mature, she's pretty much a sadistic human being. She sees combat as a "stress relief" and I swear, I've heard sadistic giggling from her at one point. It's enough to even unnerve Makoto, who we all know has quite the temper on her!" Viridi added.

"Does she unnerve Pittoo?" Pit wondered.

"Stop calling me that! …And no, she does not." Dark Pit said.

"Then why are you in a cold sweat?" Pit asked.

"I'm not."

"Despite all that, Haru is graceful in combat and has psychic abilities." Palutena said. "She can strengthen the power of guns and she can also strengthen psychic attacks… which would honestly explain why she likes to hang out with Mewtwo, Ness, Lucas and Xena…"

"That also explains why she has them as their teammates in a Team Battle." Viridi said.

"She can also buff attack, defense and agility." Palutena added. "That can be a problem with her psychic buddies."

"Let me guess, she uses psychic abilities for her Final Smash." Pit said.

"Nope, she just calls out Milady and turns her opponents in swiss cheese with that machine gun underneath that dress. Then she snaps her fingers and hits you with a Psiodyne to finish off her Final Smash."

"So yes, she does hit you with psychic abilities, just not in the beginning." Viridi said.

"If you'll need me, I'll be staying far away from that woman." Dark Pit said.

"Despite all of this though, Haru is very sweet and kind." Palutena said. "…As long as you don't get on her bad side."

Pit let out a gulp. "Uh… noted!"

Ta-dah! Phantom Thieves! I also set up a poll, so go check it out!
