GOMU GOMU NO!~ Okay, big author's note for this one. This chapter also marks the four-year time skip. So Jaune should be 10 years old now.

With that, cheers everyone and happy reading!

*Sora Movie Sub-arc Begin.*

"Alright men, we all knew this day was coming. Have you locked the ticket booths and removed the barricades on all the entrances?" A bead of sweat dripped down the theater manager's cheek.

His employees were armed to the teeth with shields and extra security in the form of veteran hunters and huntresses. Of course, those who served on the front lines were also eager to watch the movie and were promised a final seat among the last viewing of the film once their temporary shifts were over.

At first, being one of the theaters to gain the rights to display Sora the warrior's first movie seemed like a good idea, but when the rolls of tickets were purchased in the first week of its announcement, the manager couldn't help but feel cornered and overwhelmed.

"Sir, I've finished the structural adjustments to the seats. No matter how many kids stomp and jump on them, they will last until the next viewing of the movie!" Declared a young worker.

"Only the second viewing?! That's only half an hour away from the next showing! And did you take into account that fully grown adults would be screaming and jumping too?!" Cried the manager.

In an instant, the worker picked up his toolbox and shouted for his fellow cohorts to bring over more lumber and metal rods.

"Sir! thirty minutes until the front doors are opened, have we finished with the extra food deliveries?!" Shouted another employee.

Countless bags of popcorn, butter, and several jugs of soda lay stacked behind the food counters, their gathered mass almost touching the ceiling as workers threw more and more into the pile. As the cinema employees busied themselves with final preparations, the eager fans who beckoned at the entrance could barely contain themselves.

"Come on dad we're going to be late!" Cheered a young girl with short black hair tipped with red ends.

"Yeah, we need to get the best seats!" Her older sister with blonde hair and lilac eyes shouted.

"Yang, Ruby, calm down, your mother and I already bought your tickets. You don't need to scream at the front desk like last time." Tai sighed as he plucked his exited daughters off the ground and wrapped them under his arms.

"Just be patient girls. Qrow said he'd be here before the movie started showing, and by the looks of it he's already arrived." Summer scooted beside her husband with a giddy smile as she pointed to a frantic man with short spiky hair among the crowd.

"Oum damn it, I wouldn't have been late if Raven didn't bug me about getting her and the others a damn ticket. Who would have thought my twin sister would have been a fan of these kinds of things. Then again it was my fault for forgetting one of my Sora books in our last meeting together..." Qrow grumbled as he bumped into his fifth person today. His semblance was really having a go at the unfortunate hunter this past week.

"Uncle Qrow!" Shouted Ruby and Yang. Wrestling free of their father's hold, the duo ran toward their favorite uncle and clambered onto him for hugs.

"Easy there you guys! I still need my legs to walk!" Qrow laughed as he balanced himself with the new weights that clung to his calves.

"You're late Qrow." Tai huffed with a smile.

"I ran into a few complications, but I managed to sort them out. So, when does the movie start?" The half-drunk hunter was pointed to a large clock display that hung over the theater.

"Fifteen minutes huh? How about we sneak in some snacks before the film?" Qrow received mischievous smiles from both Yang and Ruby.

"We've got you covered uncle Qrow! We made sure to wear our cargo pants with the most pockets!" The girls beamed and revealed countless chocolate bars and sugary sweets.

"Qrow, Yang, Ruby, you know we're not supposed to do that." Summer quipped.

"So you're telling me you didn't pack a bunch of baked goods for the movie?" Qrow smirked back.

Tai quickly caught on and added to Qrow's comment. "I could have sworn you made some chocolate chip cookies last night Summer. Is my memory failing me at this age already?" He coughed with a cheeky smirk.

Summer's fingers tightened around the strap of her purse as an embarrassed blush spread across her cheeks. "T-These don't count! They're made with love so they're completely legal!"

"Sure they are." Qrow and Tai laughed while Yang and Ruby sported toothy grins.

The movie Sora the warrior, wasn't exclusive to only humans either. From the gathered crowds, bunches of Faunus were eager to see the brave warrior in action, and you could argue that Sora's self-proclaimed number one fan was ecstatic. A young Faunus with black hair and dressed in a short black dress with white lining had her Faunus trait hidden by a cute black bow gifted by her good friend Adam Taurus.

"Blake dear, please stay with us, there are so many people here it's hard to keep track!" Kali was lucky to have her husband here for today. Being the enormous Faunus that he was, he naturally demanded space wherever he walked.

"But mom, all of the good seats are going to be taken if we wait around too long!" Blake protested.

"Easy there Blake, I made sure to buy our tickets ahead of time, and the seats I got us are pretty decent too." Ghira chuckled.

"It's really nice that this Sora the warrior series emphasizes such good character traits. The portrayal of the Faunus in the story is fair and compelling, not to mention Sora himself is an outstanding individual who stands up for whoever he wants no matter their appearance or origin." Kali added.

Among the Faunus present, a boy sporting a white shirt, blue jeans, and red sneakers swung his arm around his good pal Neptune. The blue-haired boy adorned a red polo shirt with black jeans and black boots. Jupiter, Neptune's older brother had also come along to see the anticipated film. Wearing tan shorts and a bright orange jacket, beige slippers covered his feet as he ushered the two excited boys into the long line of fans.

"I bet you five lien that Sparking red is gonna get the first punch on Sora!" Neptune grinned as he waved around an action figure of his favorite Germa 66 villain.

"Pfft, you're dreaming Neptune, it's gonna be Dengeki blue hands down!" Sun retorted as he presented a figurine of his own.

"Alright you two, that's enough. We all know that Judge is going to be the ultimate villain here. He is top five after all." Jupiter smirked.

While the trio conversed about possible outcomes and scenarios, the tales of Sora reached even the adult fanbase.

"Oobleck! Port! Ozpin! If you don't get a hold of yourselves I'm going to cancel this excursion immediately!" Glynda snarled as the three men ran around admiring every souvenir shop on display. Well for Oobleck he was more along the lines of flying past, as the only thing Glynda could keep track of was a whizzing mop of green hair.

Glynda felt a vein bulge in the top of her forehead when the giddy trio settled down to join a debate regarding the upcoming movie's best villain. With Ozpin leading his fellow fan members while waving a small Sora the warrior flag.

"Why couldn't professor Peach sub out for me this one time?" Glynda grumbled as she kinked her neck and stretched her back. She really needed to find a cheap masseuse after this movie was over as her paychecks evaporated with every treatment.

"Judge top five!" The headmaster shouted with Port and Oobleck cheering behind him. Another crowd grouped together armed with counter-arguments, which would surely fill the remaining minutes before the theater opened.

"I swear this book series can't be worth this much insanity." Glynda sighed. Truth be told, she never actually read any of the Sora novels in fear of becoming an obsessed fanatic like her cohorts, but judging from the hustle and bustle of the crowds around her... Perhaps Glynda would give the series a chance.

"That's headcanon and you know it!" Port shouted.

"It's proven in book three!" Protested a fan.

"It's only theorized! In paragraph four of the seventh chapter of book three, Sora clearly states its only an assumption!" Oobleck replied.

"Indeed!" Supported Ozpin.

"This is going to be a long and stressful day isn't it?" Glynda rubbed her temples and redied her disciplinarian just in case things got out of hand.

Ten minutes left until the theater would open its doors, a ravenette, benevolent doctor, and spiky-haired brunette waited in the shadows for the film to commence.

"I can't believe you dragged us from the deserts of Vacuo for today to see a movie Leader." Brick scratched his head and pulled the gray hood of his hoodie over his forehead.

"Shut up Brick, you should feel honored that I decided to bring you along. If we get caught and have to leave the theater before the movie ends, I'm going to cut out your other eye when we get back to the camp." The determination in Raven's glare could rival the sun as she eyed the timer above the theater.

Instead of her huntress attire, Raven opted for a baggy red hoodie with a set of black shades that hid her blood-colored pupils perfectly along with a pair of ebony sweatpants.

"L-Leader!" For Vernal's disguise, she wore attire similar to Brick's. A gray hoodie with gray jeans. It wasn't anything special, which was perfect for the occasion as the trio blended in with their surroundings effortlessly.

"Qrow made sure to buy me tickets that would be on the opposite end of where Tai and the others would be sitting, so as long as Qrow keeps me up to date with their whereabouts, there should be zero chances of me encountering them during and after the movie." Raven hummed.

"L-Leader!" Vernal repeated.

"Yes, Vernal?" Raven rolled her eyes.

"Please tell me that I'm wrong, but isn't that Hawkins over there?" Vernal pointed to a familiar head with Crimson eyes and Golden locks with his children close behind him.

Raven's neck almost snapped with how fast she turned her head. True to Vernal's word, a tall man with pale skin and a dark green coat with a ruffled collar seemed annoyed by the boisterous crowds.

"Leader, I know how much you like Hawkins, but we can't afford to cause a scene here... Hold on, who's that Faunus that's clinging to Hawkins' arm?" The second Brick said it, he knew he had made a mistake.

"... What?" Raven said through a malevolent scowl.

"Come on Hawkins, you promised me you'd join me to watch this movie! I spent a pretty penny to get our seats too!" The sheep Faunus said in an annoyed tone.

Fiona decided to keep her huntress attire, as it was comfortable both on and off the battlefield. As for Hawkins, he wore the same dark-green coat with a ruffled collar, black pants, and brown boots. Though he added a new pair of black gloves to his outfit.

"I agreed to see the movie because Jaune and Emerald wanted to see it," Hawkins grumbled. His negative tone earning a cute pout from the sheep Faunus as she tightened her grip around his forearm.

However, being 5'8", it was hard for Fiona to keep eye contact and drag him around with the blonde magician now standing at 7'.

"Where did Jaune and the others get to?" Hawkins could have sworn they were behind him a moment ago.

"They must have gone to buy some popcorn, we should get in line though Hawkins. We don't want to wait out here forever!" Fiona chimed in a suspiciously chirpy tune.

How convenient it was for the happy huntresses to arrive a week before Sora the warrior movie would be released. Yes, a complete coincidence that Hawkins' and Fiona's seats were right next to each near the front. While Robyn, Joanna, May, Sam, Carla, Jaune, Emerald, Vito, and Trifa were grouped together in the center of the theater. Totally a coincidence...

"Very well, but can you release my arm?" Hawkins groaned.

"Stop being so sour Hawkins and get moving already!" Fiona scolded as she dragged the magician towards the groups of crazed fans. Though she did so with a heavy blush and giddy smile.

"Let go of me, Brick!" Raven seethed as she eyed her magician in the embrace of another. Brick clung to her waist and pulled her back to their previous hiding spot.

"You promised to keep things on the low while we visited Vale, I don't want to be shot on sight because of your antics! Vernal, give me a hand will you?!" Brick pleaded for the child of their group to provide assistance, but Vernal was too busy looking for another head of blonde. One that belonged to a boy named Jaune F. Hawkins.

For the boy in question, Jaune was bursting with excitement as he held the straw figure of Sora his father had made him for his second birthday. Carla added the clothing to his puppet, and he made sure to keep it at home as to not risk losing it on any occasion. Today was a special day though, as his father's world-renowned novel would be making its first debut in theaters, so Jaune needed every luck charm he could get.

"Pao!" Funkfreed huffed in anticipation.

"Easy there bud, you'll get your peanuts soon enough, but remember that you have to stay in sword form until we're back in the agricultural district." Jaune grinned. He was sad that he had to leave Uncle Kuma and Richie behind, but Kuma's sheer size proved difficult to squeeze past the theater doors and into a seat, and well, Richie was a lion who'd probably be apprehended if he joined the group.

"Hey Jaune, I've got some buttered popcorn and cola that we can share during the film!" Trifa hopped beside her best friend with a large drink with two straws and a bag filled with popcorn.

"Thanks, Silkmoon!" Trifa felt her cheeks redden slightly at the use of her nickname, and quickly reminded Jaune that he was only supposed to use it when they were alone.

"M-My bad Trifa." Jaune chuckled awkwardly.

"Emerald, would you like some chocolate-rero?" Vito held an open chocolate bar for his new niece to take as she sat behind his head and on his shoulders.

Since his first encounter with Hawkins, Vito explained that he didn't have an official home, so Hawkins decided to allow him refuge until he found a place in Vale. Oddly enough, Jaune and the others in the agricultural district had grown fond of the supposed chameleon Faunus and offered him a place among their family after a few months. Vito was hesitant at first, but with Hawkins' reluctant approval on the matter, he was now officially a member of the magician's growing family.

"Thanks, uncle Vito." Emerald took the chocolate bar and nibbled on it with a smile.

Carla and Sam were busy chatting with the happy huntresses, who had somehow lost track of the blonde magician and their sheep Faunus teammate.

"Looks like Fiona's on the move girls," Robyn said and pointed to a mop of white hair and long golden locks who were growing smaller by the second as they merged into the bustling crowds.

May and Joanna giggled, but May happened to catch a glimpse of a familiar figure.

"Hey you guys, isn't that..." May trailed off as she lost sight of the shark Faunus.

As things were looking up for the populace in Vale, the tensions in Atlas were steadily rising and not in a good way. In the main office of the Schnee mansion, the two heads of the family were caught in an emotional war.

"You promised to see this movie with our children Jacques!" Willow screamed at the top of her lungs as her visage twisted to absolute disgust. Her makeup drenched and slurred by tears, she slammed her hands against the office desk and waited for her husband's answer.

"There are important matters regarding the company Willow that must be met! I don't have the leisure to simply drop all of my responsibilities to attend tedious events!" Jacques shouted.

"You call Weiss' birthday a tedious event?! How can you even say such a thing?!" Willow screeched.

"Winter has already been accepted for a position in Atlas academy when she comes of age, and you want to push away the emotional needs of our second daughter?!"

This time it was Jacques, turn to slam his hands against the desk. Rising from his chair, he shot Willow a snarl and revealed his true colors.

"I decided that Weiss would be the one to uphold the future of this company once she grows up, and she will realize her responsibilities sooner or later. As for now, it's my responsibility to keep the SDC on profitable standards and maintain any issues that should arise!"

"Do you honestly love this family Jacques?! If you did you wouldn't push aside the needs of your kids!" Willow's face was practically smeared with makeup and tears at this point.

But Before she could holler another opinion, Jacques cut her off.

"Do you really understand the importance of business Willow?! The only reason I ever married you was so I could steer the SDC into a brighter future and uphold the Schnee name! Nothing else matters in this world and our children will learn that soon enough after I've taught them their needed responsibilities!"

His words drove through Willow's fragile heart like a merciless bullet. Her legs trembling, she stepped back from the man she called her husband and raised a hand over her mouth. Willow wanted to say something, anything that would swing the discussion back in her favor... but nothing came. The realization of her scam marriage over the span of fourteen years crashing around her like nuclear dust bombs, her throat was left empty of words as bitter tears flooded through her icy pupils once more.

"And another thing." Jacques strutted to the front door with an evil smirk.

"Four years ago, in the ruins near the new SDC factories in Vacuo, a blonde man was found dead among the slaughter that occurred there. His name was Hawkins I believe, the same mercenary who you're still wasting money on to find hunters and huntresses to find."

That was all it took. Unable to speak or move, Jacques rested a hand on the shoulder of his wife. His grip could almost be considered comforting, but Willow knew it signified that her husband had all the control. With buckling knees, Willow was escorted out of the office. The door slamming harshly behind her, Willow headed straight for her private chambers, forgetting the promise she made to her kids due to the emotional slaughter that racked her mind.

On the outskirts of the mansion, three Schnees and one Klein waited for the heads of the household to show themselves.

"We're going to be late for the movie in the Atlas theater if we don't hurry. What do you think is taking mother and father so long?" Whitley turned to his sisters for an answer and felt his expectations fall when he saw the frown on Weiss' face.

Winter comforted her the best she could, but none of the siblings were aware of what had transpired within the mansion, so all they could do was wait while Klein tried to contact his superiors. The ringing of his scroll providing no insight, the loyal butler sighed and veered his attention to the downtrodden children before him.

"I think your parents told me they would catch up once the movie started, so why don't we hurry into the bullhead and see that Sora the warrior movie that everyone is talking about? From the local reviews and the books master Whitley has purchased, I'm sure it will be a thrilling experience for us all!" Klein slapped on the best smile he could, but even he could not mask his disappointment on the matter.

He knew better than anyone how rocky Willow's and Jacques's relationship was, but surely they would put aside their petty turmoil for their kids right? One by one, the Schnee siblings entered their private bullhead and Klein followed suit. He prayed to Oum Weiss tenth birthday would be a success, and at least she had him, Winter, and Whitley by her side right?

"Hawkins?" Called a familiar voice. The mere utter of his name caused the magician to freeze and break into a cold sweat. That voice... no it couldn't be here, he left Vacuo four years ago and hadn't spoken to her since. Well, there was that message about moving her restaurant to a more peaceful kingdom two years ago, but the odds of her immigrating here was only 36%!

Turning around, Hawkins' felt his eyes widen while Fiona's bulged out of their sockets. Sitting comfortably in a modified wheelchair, was a shark Faunus with slanted navy eyes and a matching hoodie. Opaque Black tights snuggly wrapped her long legs, with a pair of furry gray boots that reached just below her knees. Brushing a few strands of her short black hair to the side, Shyarly beamed a smile at her long lost friend.

"Madame Shyarly," Hawkins said with a deadpanned visage. The day was becoming more and more troublesome. If he had done a few tarot readings this morning, he might've been able to avoid all this bother.

"Is that really the face you're going to give me after not seeing me for two years Hawkins? The last time we chatted was through our scrolls, and that hardly counts as an interaction." Shyarly huffed.

"What about the text messages? You kept pestering me to the point that I considered blocking you." Hawkins snapped back.

Shyarly feigned a look of despair, to her surprise she saw Hawkins curl a brow instead of shooting another apathetic glare at her. Had the stoic magician softened a tad while they were separated? Speaking of separation, there was a particular sheep Faunus who was too close to Shyalry's magician for her liking.

"M-Madame Shyarly, how nice it is to see you." It took all of Fiona's willpower not to snarl out her words.

"A pleasure Ms. Thyme. I think Hawkins would like his personal space back by the way." Shyarly smiled, but both Hawkins and Fiona knew it was forced.

"Alright everyone, I want single filed lines and order, if not I have permission from the authorities to find and suspend anyone from my theater should they get out of hand! Am I clear?!" The manager of the theater shouted from a temporary stand positioned by the front doors of the establishment.

"YEAAAAAAAH!" Screamed the Sora the warrior fans as they flooded past the front doors in the most orderly fashion a mob could muster.

"This experience has a 95% chance of being irritating for me..." Hawkins grumbled as Shyarly took his free hand and wrapped her fingers around it.

"Come now Hawkins, shouldn't you be thrilled that a lovely woman is escorting you?" Shyarly giggled.

"Actually Shyarly, Hawkins, and I have reserved seats along the front rows of the theater, and we need to be early to avoid the swarming crowds." Fiona pulled Hawkins closer to her side with a teasing smile.

"Is that so? What number is your ticket?" Shyarly asked.

"My number is 306," Fiona answered.

"Really now? Mine happens to be 304." Shyarly said with a predatory grin.

The life in Fiona's eyes faded a tad, and her ears fell limp against the sides of her head. However, Hawkins was the one who was the most distraught.

"My number is 305..." Hawkins muttered, just loud enough for the other two to hear.

"That's nice, isn't it? We can enjoy the movie together." Shyarly giggled.

"Yes... but my seat is between the two of you." Hawkins growled in his mind.

"Can't I just wait until tomorrow to see the movie?" Hawkins groaned in despair.

"Nope!~" The two women linked their arms around the bewildered magician. As sparks flew between the Shark Faunus and the Sheep Faunus, Hawkins was led inside the theater by force, but he could feel another presence glaring at him from behind. A Branwen tribe leader to be more precise.

With the viewings in Vale and Atlas underway, a duo of thievery and cunning waited for their turns in the long lines of Sora fans. One sporting a white shirt, black pants, matching shoes, and a battered bowler hat with a red stripe. Beside him a girl with a split of pink and brown hair and heterochromatic eyes and adorned in a

"Hey, don't give me that look Neo, I know for a fact that you wanted to see this movie too. You don't have to worry about our tickets either, I pickpocketed a careless blondie and managed to swipe two tickets out of his pocket! So we're in luck today!" Roman grinned.

"Ah, we'll sneak in a few snacks like always, but we need to be smart about it, there's a lot of security here today, so we can't afford to mess up!" Roman grinned as he and Neo presented their tickets to the man in charge of the entrance.

With a nod, the two marched inside the theater, making a beeline for the food counters.
