A dragon roars from a video game screen. "Only the true bros shall pass." Two fists appear, punching the dragon in the face. Randy and Howard are both playing the game intensely, and the taller boy glances to his friend. Howard is slurping from a soda as Amy is eating some nachos behind them. Randy leans in and presses Howard's button, groaning. Howard is only playing one-handed, while he's using both hands.
"Howard! Ditch the fizz! Dragon-fist at four o'clock!"
"I'm on it!" Howard throws the soda over his shoulder and Amy ducks her head quickly. However, it spills over Bucky.
"Aw, I'm soaked to the phone!" He holds up his wet phone. "Incoming sparkling water zing!"
"Sorry about that, Bucky," Amy helps him up, reaching into her pocket and handing him a napkin.
"Thanks Amy!"
Amy turns around to give Howard a slight glare as the two boys switch places. They also switch controls.
"Do you guys wanna watch where you throw your drinks?" She asks but is obviously ignored. Not that she minds, she's used to it by now.
"Look out, there's a mine."
"I know! I'm gonna...just did!" They keep their faces focused as they continue playing.
"You have made dragon cry fiery tears! Now entering Level Zero!" The voice from the game says, and they look at the screen wide-eyed.
"Cunningham, we're about to beat Grave Puncher: Dragon Punch: Quad Fist Bro-dition, together!"
"We are so in sync right now!" Randy agrees with him. "Punching as one. Kicking as one. We're even finishing each other's..."
"Burritos!" Howard exclaims eagerly and Randy's confused look causes Amy to chuckle.
"Burritos? We don't even have-"
"Have burritos! Man, we are on fire!" Howard interrupts, hands on his hips. "I can't believe that you and Amy used to be so opposite to us when you first met each other."
"Yeaaah, we really didn't get on the right foot," Amy rubs her neck. They definitely were the opposite of Randy and Howard. In fact, she was pretty much on the same mindset Randy was at the time, and she was sure that his Nomicon had insisted him to work with her as well.
"True, but look at us now," Randy nudges her playfully. "We protect each other and comfort each other. Even though we've had our worst moments before and after the whole reveal thing," He coughs awkwardly and she smiles sheepishly.
"Also true. I will admit that I wasn't up for it," She rubs her arm uncomfortably.
"It's worth it, though, as long as I get to spend time with you. You're my good luck charm whenever I play a game here," Randy smiles softly at her and she blushes, returning the smile.
"I wouldn't really call myself that since you got high scores here before I came along, but thank you..."
"Not that I hate you two going out, but can you not in front of me?" Howard deadpans at them. They turn to him with annoyed looks for him interrupting the moment.
Screaming and a triangle playing gets their attention. "Aah! There's a monster on the loose!" Bucky runs away from the window, where Monster Flute Girl walks past. "Everyone stay in the hole!" He runs past Greg, who changes the Buffalo Knuckles price from $2.99 to $25.99.
"Skee-cash-cow, man. Skee-cash-cow."
"Gotta ninj. BRB, buddy," Randy informs the obese boy, about to run off with Amy when Howard grabs his arm.
"What about Level Zero?" He whines at the taller boy, who taps his chin.
"Play with Bucky till we get back," He brings Bucky over to them, turning him around. Bucky chuckles with a smile, but this earns a sharp gasp from Howard.
"You would have me bro-dish with another?" He gestures to Bucky in shock.
"It's only for a little while," Amy shrugs sheepishly.
More screaming is heard, meaning they should've been out there yesterday fast. "Howard! We have to go!"
They're about to leave when Howard pulls them back by the sleeve and hoodie. "You're sure? Like sure sure?" He glances between his friends and Bucky.
"I have never been so sure-sure of anything in my life-life!" Randy elaborates and the two run off.
"You 'bro' you want to!" Bucky clasps his hands. "Replacement friend zing!"
"Fine," Howard rolls his eyes. "But if we lose, you're buying me lunch. Also if we win, you're buying me lunch."
The two skid to a stop outside the entrance to see the stanked girl standing in front of a female band member from school. She roars in the girl's face, getting spit all over her. She screams in fear.
"Rachel!" Amy gasps slightly, knowing her from school.
"Let's do this!" Randy declares and they use two cars to transform. Ninja runs out of hiding first and Kunoichi flips from behind the other car, running next to him. "Ninja Flute Girl kick!" He kicks Flute Girl in the face, distracting her long enough for Rachel to run away. Flute Girl roars, spins around, and hits Ninja in the guts with her tail. "Oh. That was my guts."
Kunoichi bends down to him and helps him up. "I gotcha, Ninja."
Rachel screams as she runs into an alley, Flute Girl skidding around the corner to chase after her. Ninja and Kunoichi skid to a stop at the entrance to the alley.
"Why is Flute Girl attacking...what's that girl's name?" He scratches his head. "Plays the clarinet. I think her Claire. Or maybe it's Annette."
"Really? I just said it," Kunoichi facepalms, dragging her hand down her face. Did he really just base off her name by the instrument she plays?
"My name is Rachel!" Rachel calls out in annoyance.
"Rachel! ...Nah, that can't be right."
His partner sighs slowly, shaking her head. "I will never understand what you think of in that head of yours sometimes..."
Thankfully he's not like this all the time...
"Stevens gave me a trombone lesson and Flute Girl lost her cheese!" Rachel explains, a shadow looming over her. She looks up to see a roaring Flute Girl and she stiffens. Flute Girl snatches her and jumps off walls to get to the roof.
"Huh?" Ninja looks to the dumpster. "Stevens! I should'a known!" He goes over to the dumpster and slices it in half to reveal Stevens. "Stevens, you gotta cool it with all the tom-cattin'. You know how jealous Flute Girl gets!" He gestures to the monster.
"Trust me, you'd save us a lot of trouble, buddy," Kunoichi points to the boy. "This is like the second time already." Sometimes it's like he gets Flute Girl jealous on purpose just so they can fix it. And she's been a target for his tomcatting enough before she even started going out with Randy.
Flute Girl roars into Rachel's face again and Stevens plays the sad trombone. Kunoichi snatches it with her hair and throws it into the sky. "Now, Ninj!"
"Ninja trombone slash!" Ninja leaps into the air and slices it with his sword. The three students gasp and the pieces fall, along with Flute Girl. Kunoichi releases her hair and uses it like a trampoline to catch her. She bounces off onto the ground. "You good? You good? Is everybody good? Good," He fist-bumps Kunoichi. "Smoke bomb!"
Rachel is hanging from the roof by the back of her uniform. "I'm not good."
"Not again..." Kunoichi's hair acts for itself as it reaches up and grabs Rachel. Then it gently places her down nearby, causing her to smile.
"Now I'm good!"
"Good," Kunoichi smiles back, throwing down her smoke bomb and disappearing.
Bucky and Howard punch the bags together, playing just as intense as he does with Randy. The two teenagers return to the game.
"Hey buddy, we're back! Craziest thing: did you know that clarinet girl's name is Rachel?" Randy asks casually and Amy pinches her nose.
"Uh, I did. And you left me to deal with the saving again like with Der Monster Klub," She rolls her eyes.
"That's because it's practice for you," He winks and she gives an amused smile.
"You have extincted all the dragons!" The game announces, causing Randy to flinch. Amy opens her mouth in surprise. "Maximum high five four times!"
"We did it?" Howard questions happily.
"You did it?" Randy's eyes widen.
"That's really great, you guys," Amy claps for them, not noticing Randy's frown. They watch the two hug it out in victory.
"With him?" Randy gestures to Bucky in surprise.
"That's me! I'm the him!" Bucky chuckles along with Howard, both of them smiling.
"Wow. Uh, you won," Randy rubs his neck awkwardly. "Without me. That's, uh, really the cheese." Amy glances up at him with a raised brow, wondering why he's reacting like this.
"Actually, it's hold the cheese," Howard corrects him, laughing. "Am I right?"
Bucky wipes away a tear. "Oh, man. Sorry, guys. Inside joke."
"Guess you had to brie there!" Bucky points at the two, Howard grinning next to him. "Hold-the-cheese zing!"
"I think I'll be fine not knowing," Amy waves it off.
"Ha ha! Speaking of, I believe somebody owes me nachos."
"Owes?" Randy stares at him as Bucky walks away. "I wouldn't say I owes you nachos. I can spots you nachos," He pulls out his wallet, digging into it for some cash. Bucky suddenly comes back with a box of nachos.
"Chos for my bro!"
Randy gasps sharply, mouth wide open. "You're mooching off Bucky now?"
"Oh my cheese, it's a miracle. He's found someone else," Amy chuckles, crossing her arms and not sensing Randy's slightly hurt tone. And neither does Howard for that matter.
"Shall we adjourn to the Food Hole, my good Hensletter?"
"We shall, my good Weinerman," He grins and the two new friends walk off together.
"Hey, that's cool," Randy calls out, waving an awkward hand. "...Save me a seat, okay? I'll meet you there...Aww," He sags his shoulders, slowly walking ahead.
"Ran?" Amy asks in concern, stepping forward to keep in sync with him. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," He wraps an arm around her. "I just need a shake."
"Well, okay..." She murmurs, but is still unsure. However, she doesn't want to push it further and possibly upset him more.
A robotic spider runs down the street, with Ninja and Kunoichi following after it. His phone rings and he answers it while running.
"Hey guys, you coming over or what?" Howard asks while sitting in a bean bag chair and playing a video game.
"Be right there. We just gotta take care of this spider problem. Kuno, give me a hand!"
She throws her hair forward and captures the spider so that it stays in place. "Ninja slice!" He leaps into the air and slices the spider in half. "Yes!" Then a bunch of tiny spiders crawl out and Kunoichi lets go of her hair in alarm, swiping them off her hair quickly. "Ew!" He stabs them with his sword, but they just keep coming. "Buf! So gross..."
"What's the matter, you got 'attack-nophobia'?" Howard jokes, laughing. "Spider zing. Hensletter's gonna love that one."
The two blink, glancing at each other. "Did Howard just zing?"
"He never zings..." Kunoichi murmurs before he goes back to stabbing spiders. She pulls out her fans and throws it, and it drags against the ground, splitting some spiders in half. Both of them groan in disgust and the spiders don't seem to show any sign of stopping...
The next day, the bell rings at school and Howard closes his locker to see Randy and Amy standing there, holding hands.
"Sorry we didn't call you back," Randy waves a nervous hand. "I was up all night wringing spider goo outta my underpants."
"And spider goo out of my hair," Amy shudders in disgust.
"No worries. I held my own cheese," Howard smiles up at them, chuckling at the joke again. "Held my own cheese."
"Yeah, still don't get that," Randy looks away with a small frown. "So did you like go to bed early? Or...w-w-what happened?"
"There he is!" Howard exclaims at someone approaching them. "Big Dave! Here, you left this at my place last night," He hands Accordion Dave his accordion back, to Randy's confusion as they keep up with him.
"Thanks, Howard. That was an epic jam session. We still on for tonight?"
"I'll SMS you with the deetelios!" Howard calls out as Dave walks away.
"Um! You jammed with Accordion Dave last night?!" Randy exclaims accusingly at him.
"No! Accordion Dave jammed with me. And Bucky."
"What?! What?!" Randy shouts in protest, his voice getting slightly high. "But we were supposed to hang out!"
"You were off ninja and kuno-ing!" Howard retorts back and Amy glances at Stevens flirting with another girl, rolling her eyes. Hopefully Flute Girl doesn't see that and gets jealous again. "Was I supposed to just sit around and wait for you guys?"
"Yes!" Amy elbows Randy in the arm, giving him a look that says 'wrong answer.' "I mean, no, not-not wait. Just, sit by yourself not doing anything."
"I do that already while you guys are out on dates," Howard narrows his eyes and they both rub their necks sheepishly.
"Well...you see...um...those don't usually require a third person," Amy clears her throat. "I mean, it's nothing personal..."
"And because you ruin the mood," The taller boy mutters to himself. For example, the time that Howard intentionally interrupted their date for soupsicles being gone.
"And you were the one who said I should bro-dish with Bucky, Cunningham," Howard points out.
"I did say that..." Randy admits slowly and Howard grins at someone else.
"What up, Pradeep? You still holding that cheese?"
Pradeep walks past the three. "You know that I am! Pew-pew! Ha-ha!"
"Pradeep was there too?!" Randy asks in disbelief.
"You know that he was...now," Howard states in confirmation.
"I can't believe this!" Randy looks like he's about to lose it.
"What the juice, Cunningham, are you jealous?"
Randy laughs nervously, looking away as Amy raises a brow. "Jealous? I don't even know what that word means. The meaning of that—what does that mean? Jealous? What is-"
"You knew the meaning when Jacques was making the moves on Amy and she totally fell for that."
"I did not, and that's besides the point," Amy deadpans with an annoyed look. "You guys swore you wouldn't bring that up anymore..."
"I was just making a point!" Howard holds up his hands innocently.
"Whoa, the Nomicon's buzzing. I gotta take this," Randy points to his jacket, wanting to get out of this conversation immediately.
"Mm. I didn't hear any buzzing," Howard smirks at the taller boy.
"Yeah, I have it on vibrate...it has that. And I felt it. It vibrated, you hear yours vibrate, Ames?"
She shakes her head. "No-"
"Oh, look at that, we both felt it. Come on, let's go!" He grabs her arm and pulls her away from Howard.
"Jealous," Randy scoffs once they're in a secluded place in the library. "Please, Nomicon. Why would I be jealous? I'm the Ninja." He flips the pages and gets shloomped in, spinning in a spiral with Amy. "Bucky? Accordion Dave? Pradeep?!" They stand up in a bamboo forest. "And what's with 'hold the cheese'? What does that even mean? Ames, aren't you worried about this?"
"Doesn't bother me," Amy shrugs at him. "I mean, I hang out with Heidi, Rachel, and Morgan when you're out doing 'guy stuff' without me. If Howard wants to spend time that we're doing Ninja stuff hanging out with other boys, we should support him. It doesn't make us any less his best friends."
"But he never hangs out with anyone besides us," Randy frowns at her.
"You've known him a long time, longer than we've known each other. You'll figure it out," Amy places her hands on her hips. "You guys have the closest friendship I've ever seen."
"Thanks..." He sighs a bit, realizing something. "Wait, you hang out with other people too?!"
"Yes, I hang out with other girls," She rolls her eyes. "You do realize that sometimes me being class president, I sometimes have to talk to other girls for events and stuff. And other times, it's because I don't talk to other girls as much as I should."
"Have you hung out with other guys?" He narrows his eyes in jealously.
"I'm kind of friends with some, but no, I've never hung out with any other guy besides you two alone."
A doodle villager walks past them, getting their attention. A sleeping dragon is nearby, holding a bag of coins. They watch as the villager takes the coin bag, but the dragon wakes up and roars, releasing his flames. The two look away with cringes and the bag burns into ashes, to the shock of the dragon. The ashes fly away to reveal the advice.
"The jealous dragon slays what it should protect. Wait, wait, wait. You think I'm jealous?"
"Yes," Amy inputs smugly, earning a tiny glare from him.
"I am not jealous! Maybe you're jealous!" He points up at the dragon, who rolls his eyes. He lets out another roar and protect is circled and pointed at this time. "Ohhhh, this isn't about jealousy. It's about me protecting Howard from his false bros!" He chuckles and Amy pinches her nose. "Man, Howard is lucky to have a friend like me!"
The dragon and Amy both facepalm at him. "Ran, I want you to listen to me. And listen to me good. Howard can't spend the next 4 years us being the Ninjas being cooped up at home or doing nothing. He has his own life, and you should just leave it alone."
"It'll be fine, I won't do it...So if there's nothing else, I don't got a complicated plan to set in motion...not doing some protecting..." He chuckles with a wide smile. "Anytime. I'm ready to vloomp. Whenever you're ready to vloomp, I'm good to-" The wind blows them away. "Goooo!"
Bucky is practicing his triangle in the band room alone, sounding off-beat. He shakes his head and gets the next note right, to his pleasure. He turns the next page to see a note with his name on it. He opens it up as Ninja is hanging from the ceiling, jumping away.
Dave takes off his towel in the boys' locker room, opening up the door and turning on the water. All he gets is a paper ball thrown at his face. He picks it up and reads it, and then the water turns on. Ninja steps out in the stall next to him in his own towel, sneaking away.
An oven dings and Pradeep opens it to reveal a baked and frosted cake. He places it down on the counter to see a note on top. He opens it and smiles at the note. Ninja peeks at him from behind a counter, wearing a chef's hat. He snickers to himself before disappearing. He'll deal with Amy's gal pals another day.
At lunch, Randy stands next to Howard in line. "Hey buddy, whatcha doin', havin' some lunch?" Randy asks casually and Amy glances at him in confusion. The lunch lady swats a fly and she sticks out her tongue in disgust.
"Oh. Cunningham. Smith. I thought you guys were in the Nomicons." Some...food is put on his tray. "The guys sent me a note asking me to eat them. So why don't you guys come with?"
"Thanks Howard," Amy smiles at him, taking her tray. "I'd be glad to."
"Oh, we wouldn't wanna intrude..." Randy replies innocently, following after Howard with a burger and what looks to be a pickle, but that thing looks more or less like a caterpillar to Amy.
"Any bro of mine is a bro of theirs," Howard states, his eyes widening at Amy. "I mean...you aren't a 'bro' bro per say, but you're definitely one of the guys. No! You're not a guy! I meant-"
"I get it," She chuckles, failing to notice Randy's giggling.
"Oh," Howard notices the empty table. "Looks like my fellas are running a little late."
"Or...they stood you up! Oh, so un-bruce! Wow, a harsh but necessary of teaching you who your true friends are."
"...Alright, what'd you do?" Amy narrows her eyes suspiciously.
"I know who my true friends are: you guys," Howard points at them. "What's going on with that pickle?" He takes it from Randy's tray and takes a bite.
"Uh...wait, wait, wait, b-but what about Bucky and the jam session and 'hold the cheese'?" Randy sits across from Howard in slight concern and Amy sits down next to Randy.
"Those guys are just casual bros, for when you're not around." Howard looks at Randy's burger. "What's the status of that burger?" He takes it and has a bite. "And that pizza looks lonely, Smith, can I-"
"No," She answers before he can even touch it. "And you know exactly why I had to get lunch."
Randy taps a finger nervously, looking guilty. "Wonder where those guys are anyway."
"Hmm," The taller boy glances up towards the roof, where Pradeep and Bucky are currently. Randy had left a note for each of them, posing as Howard for them to come and meet 'him' there for lunch. Pradeep sighs slowly.
"Why would Howard send us notes telling us to meet him on the roof if he wasn't going to be here?"
"Hey," Dave opens the door and steps outside, holding the paper he got. "Howard, I got your note."
Bucky stammers as he runs to the closing door, right near a vent noticeably. "Don't let that door lock!" However, it closes, and locks them out. "It's note what you think! Betrayed by our new friend zing!"
Unfortunately for them, they're near the Sorcerer. The rat crawls up to a tiny table, setting it with plates. The Sorcerer sniffs the air and stands up, smiling widely. "Mmmm! Jealousy. Anguish. Despair. It's a veritable buffet...of betrayal!" He sends a bunch of stank with evil laughter, the rat blowing out the candles.
The door clicks, getting the boys' attention. "I think someone's coming!"
"I knew Howard wouldn't let us down!" Dave says optimistically, but instead the door bursts open with stank crawling out. They all gasp and are hit with the giant cloud of stank, all of them turning into monsters...
Amy and Randy watch Howard eat the taller boy's food, all of it. "I can't believe those guys bailed on me."
"It doesn't really seem like something any of them would do," Amy raises a brow.
"Yeah. About that," Randy rubs his neck and before he can explain, the wall crashes through, letting in a bunch of smoke. All three of them duck their heads, and the three monsters step into the room. The students all run out of the cafeteria and the lunch lady literally clocks out for the day.
"Bucky? Dave? Pradeep?" Howard asks in confusion, each monster growling when he says their name. "What the juice is going on?!"
"Howard, hide! We'll handle this!" Randy tells him and the boy runs off. "Not that any of it is my fault. Not in any way at all."
Howard hides behind the counter as Amy crosses her arms skeptically. The trio of monsters roar, stepping forward. They both duck underneath a table and transform into the Ninja and Kunoichi. They jump onto the table, watching as Monster Dave, with an accordion arm, snatches Howard from behind the counter.
All of them pull at his limbs. "Mine!" They exclaim, Kunoichi opening her mouth in shock.
"Ninja casual bro kick!" Ninja jumps onto Howard's stomach, spins around, and kicks all of them in the face. Kunoichi jumps on their heads, snatching Howard by the scarf and jumping next to Ninja. He lands in her arms. "Hands off, boys. He's with us!"
"Never let me go, Kunoichi," He hugs her neck.
"She never will, buddy," Ninja assures but Kunoichi holds out Howard to Ninja.
"Nope, getting too weird for my tastes. You take him."
He does so, only to throw Howard away as they jump over a strike from Pradeep. They've gotten a hold of Howard again, this time throwing him around like a ball.
"I don't get it! Why are they only after Howard?" Kunoichi holds her head in confusion.
"How do we de-stank them? What do Casual Bros hold most dear?" Ninja is just as confused as she is.
"What are we supposed to destroy to turn them back to normal?" She frowns slightly.
"Howaaarrd!" The three monsters roar in unison. The doodle arrows point to the obese boy, causing them to gasp in unison.
"Huh? Oh no. No, no, no, no, no! We have to destroy..."
Howard shouts in alarm as he backs away. One of the monsters grabs his leg and pulls him back. "Howard?!" They both exclaim at the same time.
He screams as he's pulled back to the monsters, contemplating what they just said. "What was that?"
"This can't be right! I mean, it makes Ninja-sense. But it doesn't make much bro-sense. And absolutely no biffer-sense!"
"There's just no way! Why would we have to destroy Howard? The Nomicon would never ask us to destroy a human being! Unless...it's not Howard that has to be destroyed. You remember sometimes that it's not a physical thing that has to be destroyed? Maybe it's just a misunderstanding and Howard has to apologize!" Kunoichi shrugs at Ninja.
"Howard Weinerman? Apologize?" He asks incredibly at her.
"Yeah, I know, doesn't sound likely, but I got nothing else! I don't know why else they'd go after him," She gestures to the boy, and they get chairs thrown into them.
"Ow!" They cry out, hitting the floor.
"You know, we should've hidden underneath the table to have this conversation," Kunoichi groans next to him.
"Come on, guys! This is so not hold the cheese!" Howard exclaims at the monsters.
"Still don't get that," Ninja groans as he sits up, looking up and gasping. "The jealous dragon slays what it should protect. I was jealous! Me. Randy," Ninja stands up, cringing at Kunoichi who's giving him a look. "Promise you won't get mad?"
"Why would I get mad?" She asks dangerously, narrowing her eyes.
"I may have written some notes to lead the guys on the roof because I was jealous of Howard hanging out with them?"
"What?!" She stands up abruptly, about to punch him.
"Ah dah, dah, dah, you said you wouldn't get mad!"
She recoils back the fist with a defeated grunt. "That's why they've gone all monster! You have to talk to them!"
"Only a Randy can protect a Howard!" He declares, Howard barely missing a fist from Monster Bucky. He looks up to see Monster Dave with a fist ready.
"Punching," He extends his accordion fist to knock Howard onto the ground. He yells in alarm as he sees Monster Pradeep looming over him.
"Hold the cheese, monsters!" Ninja calls out, and Kunoichi releases her hair. A ball of hair forms around Ninja so that he can transform back into Randy. She releases him and Howard looks up with a chuckle.
"Hold the cheese."
"It's not Howard you should be angry with," He steps forward. "It's me, Randy Cunningham! I was jealous. I sent the notes. I lured you to the roof."
"This is your fault?!" Howard shouts at him. Randy chuckles nervously, seeing the angry looks from both Howard and Kunoichi.
"Well, I wouldn't say 'fault'," He replies, earning roars from the three monsters and Howard lets out a scream. "My fault! It was my fault!"
And with that, they transform back into their normal selves, falling on top of Randy. Kunoichi ducks underneath a table while they're distracted and transforms back into Amy. The stank reaches the vent in the ceiling. The stank circles around the disappointed Sorcerer.
"I can't believe it's only Wednesday."
The rat sets the table again.
"You guys can still hang out with Howard," Randy catches up to the three as they go through the hole instead of through the door. "I'm totally cool with it!"
"Uh-uh," Pradeep denies to him. "No way. Forget it."
"I need a nice safe friend. Like a kitten," Dave explains and Amy taps her chin.
"Maybe that garbage cat?"
"That sounds purr-fect! Let's do it right meow! Scared of getting between Randy and Howard Zing!" Bucky states and the three walk away.
"I told you to bro-dish with Bucky, but when you did it, I lost my cheese," Randy admits to his best friend. "And I should've considered the fact that you being a girl, you need girl time," He rubs his neck to Amy. "I acted like a real shoob," He puts his hands in his pockets.
"Yeah, you did. But you're my best shoob," Howard admits with a small smile.
"And, as long as you promise not to do anything like that with my girlfriends, then I forgive you," Amy smiles softly at him. "Not to mention if you do-" She grabs him by the collar, bringing the scared Randy forward. "I will murder you."
"Ah ha ha," He points at her nervously. "Got it, loud and clear, won't do it."
She leans up and kisses his cheek. She lets go so that he and Howard can share a long signature handshake, both of them panting. Then they high-five each other.
"I'll never leave you hanging again," Randy says earnestly and Amy hums uncertainly.
Stevens plays the trombone as he runs down the hallway nearby, with a Monster Flute Girl running after him.
"Not again!" Amy grunts in annoyance, clenching her fists. "I thought we told him to take it easy on the tomcattin'!"
"Uh..." Randy looks at Howard nervously.
"You're gonna leave me hanging right now, aren't you?" Howard asks knowingly, crossing his arms.
"We sure are," Randy salutes to him as they run off, transforming into lockers. Howard chuckles with a knowing smile on his face.
"Stevens. What a tomcat."
"So, Ames," Randy starts off as he's walking her home. They were at the Game Hole with Howard and thankfully, they didn't have to leave him behind this time around. "About us hanging out with opposite genders...do you secretly get jealous when I hang out with other girls?"
"No, not really," She states, pulling his jacket further around herself. "I mean, the only person I would have strong feelings about you hanging around with is Theresa Fowler," She has a scowl on her face as she mentions her name. She has nothing against Theresa as a person, she just does not like her alone with Randy. "Other than that, I trust you enough to hang around other girls or with anyone else, really. You however..."
"I-I trust you with other guys!" He rubs his neck. "Well, except for Julian...or Jacques...or-just any guy except Howard!" He crosses his arms with a pout and she chuckles at his expression. "But I'll try to let it go once in a while."
"It's okay, Ran. No matter what, I'll always choose you."
He smiles softly, blushing at her. He takes a hold of her hand and they continue to talk as the moonlight looms over them.
