We do not own Koihime Musou or Kamen Rider Gaim. They belong to their respective creators. We just thought this idea would be fun and decided to give it a try. If you like it, then that's great. If you don't, then we tried. Anyway, come along and let's see what you think.

Chosen was a free spirit, a man with no allegiance who came and went as he pleased. While his help was not unwelcomed, his presence usually made people very uncomfortable. It was why he decided to appear fully clothed whenever he met them since their first meeting, not wanting everyone to react in disgust and panic. Nobody wanted to see him in just his pink thong.

His last meeting with Nagata came with a warning, that the final battle was drawing near. He wanted him and the Armored War Gods to be ready, to be prepared for their battle with Dai Shi. Unfortunately, things rarely went as planned.

"They've been captured?" Sousou questioned.

"Right after he defeated them, Dai Shi spirited them away," Chosen answered.

"Does that mean Masataka-kun has been captured too?" Sonken asked.

"Dai Shi needs the power of all four Sovereigns to accomplish his plan," Chosen answered grimly.

"So, it's true then." Sonken really hoped that Masataka was somewhere out there and would return but part of her had always feared that he might have been captured. And now her fears were confirmed. She was at least happy to hear that Masataka was still alive but like Nagata, Mitsuki and Hideyoshi, he was Dai Shi's prisoner. He now had all the Sovereigns just like he wanted.

"Then we have to go and rescue them!" Ryuubi insisted. The Shoku Faction agreed. Their Armored War God had been captured and they needed to save him. He would do the same for any of them.

"Before we go running off on a wild goose chase, let me remind you that we don't know where Dai Shi's headquarters are," Sousou retorted. For a very long time now, they had been trying to search for the enemy's main headquarters. They had interrogated prisoners and demanded answers from Shibai. Unfortunately, she could not give them an exact location since her former group had used transportation talismans to take them to Dai Shi's headquarters. Even Mitsuki had tried to search from the air but came back with no leads.

"Actually, Masataka-kun found a possible location: the peak of Mt. Tai," Sonken rebutted.

"But Mitsuki searched that place and never found it," Sousou countered.

"Sonken-sama's not wrong," Chosen said. "Dai Shi's RinJyuDen is located on Mt. Tai."

"Are you serious? Then why didn't Mitsuki ever find it?" Sousou demanded.

"Because Dai Shi made sure it could never be found," Chosen answered. "Dai Shi has always been a master of the dark arts and he used his magic to keep his RinJyuDen concealed. Not only do the clouds up there provide great cover, but he also had his entire castle cloaked so that nobody could find it, even if it were standing right in front of them."

"So you're telling me it's invisible?" Sousou asked, not believing this.

"Just cloaked and enchanted so that people would be urged to look elsewhere if they came too close. He's pretty thorough about hiding it."

"So, we know where to find them," Ryuubi smiled. "That's good."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's save Onii-chan now!" Chouhi pumped her fists.

"And how are you supposed to do that?" Sousou asked.

"We'll fight Dai Shi, that's how!"

"And did you not hear what Chosen said? Dai Shi outclassed our Sovereigns, our most powerful warriors. Do we even stand a chance against him?"

"It isn't like you to give up like this, Karin," Kanu remarked.

"I'm just being realistic here, Kanu."

"But we need to save them!" Ryuubi urged. "He's taken Baron, your brother! Don't you even care?"

Sousou marched up to Ryuubi and roughly grabbed her collar to pull her down to her eye level.

"Never dare question how much I care about my brother!" Sousou scolded. "You're being too emotional right now, Ryuubi. You should have some sense to see that we have no chance of defeating Dai Shi. We don't even have a plan."

"So you'll just give up and do nothing?" Ryuubi questioned.

"I plan to protect my kingdom. I refuse to let it fall like Shoku and Son Go had," Sousou answered coldly. "Chosen, what does Dai Shi's plan entail? You seem to know a lot."

"If I were to guess, he plans to syphon the energy from the Sovereigns into the Seal of Heaven and then uses it to open a gate to Purgatory," Chosen.

"Purgatory?" Kanu asked. "That's the place Nagata-sama said he was trapped in after he was killed."

"And what happens when Dai Shi opens this gate?" Sousou asked.

"Every Rinshi and Rinrinshi that you've ever defeated will come through along with the many lost soul beasts that inhabit that land," Chosen answered. "You've already seen one of those creatures already."

"The giant monster that Ryofu defeated," Haru recalled.

"Exactly, and it'll be like a tsunami of pure destruction that will wipe out everything in its path." Chosen let the words sink in.

Sousou clenched her fists. She was proud of her strength and had accomplished so much for her kingdom, to turn it into the superpower it had become today. She wanted to protect her kingdom and her people but could she protect it from something like that?

Sousou refused to give up, refused to surrender, but Chosen pretty much said there was nothing she could do to protect her people. She couldn't even save her brother since she was so afraid to face Dai Shi. He was powerful, too powerful, and would just simply kill her then destroy her kingdom and everything she had built.

"So that's it then?" Sousou whispered. "It's all over."

"Karin-sama?" Juniku asked worriedly. She had never seen her queen look so defeated before.

"No, we can't give up," Ryuubi urged.

"Ryuubi, how can you still be so hopeful?" Sousou questioned. "Our Sovereigns have been captured and Dai Shi has the Seal of Heaven so he can open a gate that will bring forth an army so huge that we can't hope to survive! How do you still have so much hope!?"

"I just believe that everything will work out," Ryuubi smiled. "Call me stupid, call me naive, but if we let Dai Shi take our hope away, we are just letting him dictate how our story ends. We might indeed die if we try to face Dai Shi, but there's also a chance that we might be able to defeat him."

"Dai Shi does have a weakness," Chosen informed them.

"You know, you could've led with that," Chou'un retorted, glaring.

"Sorry, I guess it just slipped my mind," Chosen apologized. "There is a way for you to defeat Dai Shi. It was how he was defeated by Grandmaster Brusa Li centuries ago. It is the treasure of the Order of the Claw, the Sojyuto."

"The Sojyuto?" Kada repeated and then he left the room. He needed to check his things for something.

"The Sojyuto?" Ryuubi echoed, believing her hope had paid off. "That's great news! We can use it to save Nagata-sama and the others. Where is it?"

"Brusa Li kept it in his training hall," Chosen answered. "Unfortunately, even I have no idea where it is."

Ryuubi's smile fell.

"So, not only did you give us a bit of hope, you snatched it away just as quickly," Sousou growled. "What are you even doing here if you're not going to help us?"

"Excuse me," Kada spoke up carrying something that was wrapped up in cloth.

"Not now, Kada," Sousou rudely cut him off.

"I think I have what you're looking for. Before he sent me away, Brusa Li-sensei gave me something. He told me it was important. Could this be it?" Kada slowly removed the cloth from the item, revealing what it was to everyone in the room.

Chosen let out a loud gasp.

"The Sojyuto!"

"You mean this weapon can defeat Dai Shi?" Sonken asked.

"YES!" Chosen loudly confirmed as he went to Kada and grabbed his shoulders. "I COULD JUST KISS YOU, YOU BEAUTIFUL BOY!"

"Please don't," Kada pleaded in disgust.

Sousou marched over to Kada and grabbed his collar so they were eye to eye. His eyes widened in fright as Sousou glared at him furiously.

"If you had Dai Shi's weakness all this time, why didn't you give it to them before they left?" Sousou demanded.

"I-I-I didn't know what it was! Brusa Li-sensei just told me to look after it!" Kada answered. Sousou drove her knee into his stomach and he fell as the sword clattered to the floor.

Sousou picked up and studied the Sojyuto. Could it really be that easy? Could they save their Sovereigns and save their world from Dai Shi with just this sword?

"Alright, looks like we'll be rescuing our Sovereigns," Sousou resolved.

"I thought you said it wasn't realistic," Sonken remarked.

"Apologies, I let my feelings get the better of me. If Mitsuki had seen me give up like that, he'd tell me I was pathetic," Sousou replied and turned to Ryuubi. "You were right, Ryuubi. There is hope."

"I hate to bring down the mood here, but how are we all going to rescue them if we don't even know how to get to them?" Kaku asked.

"I could bring you to Dai Shi's headquarters," Chosen claimed.

"Seriously? Is there nothing you can't do?" Kakoton asked in amazement.

"Don't question it," Shibai advised. Her grandfather was an eccentric person but she did not doubt that he knew a way to the RinJyuDen.

"So you're saying you could've brought us to Dai Shi's headquarters at any time?" Sonken asked. "Then why haven't you done it before?"

"To be honest, if I had, you'd all be slaughtered," Chosen answered honestly. "But now I think you have a chance with the Sojyuto to not only rescue your dear Sovereigns but to defeat Dai Shi once and for all."

"Then I'll go," Ryuubi volunteered.

"As shall I," Sonken added.

"I'm in," Sousou offered. "But I'm in charge."

"We shall go as well," Kanu volunteered, speaking for the other Shoku Warriors who agreed.

"If Sonken-sama's going, so am I," Natsu said.

"Me too!" Shuutai chimed in.

"I'm going too," Kayu said. Since taking over for Kenshin, she believed it was her duty to always be there to help Hideyoshi.

"Sousou-sama, allow us to join you," Gakushin requested as Riten and Ukin nodded.

"Me too!" Kakoton added.

"Onee-sama!" Sonshoko hugged Sonken. "Promise you'll bring back Zan-niichan!"

"I promise," Sonken needed.

"I wish I could go with you," Kochu said to Ryuubi and the Shoku Warriors. "But I must stay with my family."

"Of course," Ryuubi nodded.

"Ren, please save Hideyoshi-kun," Totaku pleaded.

"Promise," Ryofu swore as she put her hand on her friend's shoulder, giving her a reaffirming squeeze.

Chosen put his palms together and flexed his muscles which rippled as he concentrated, golden Ki rising from his body. His eyes rolled up in his head as he took a deep breath, with his veins pulsing all over his body.

"HORRRRRRAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Chosen put one foot forward and thrust his arm out in front of him, punching open a portal right in the middle of the room.

"There," Chosen wiped the sweat off his brow. "Now, I can't keep this portal open for long. Once you go in, I'm closing it behind you. When you're finished, and I'll know you're finished, I'll open it again and bring you home."

"Thank you, Chosen," Ryuubi smiled and he gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Oh, I would've liked a kiss from one of the handsome boys here," Chosen giggled.

"Eh, I'll take one for the team," Marcus shrugged as he marched over and grabbed Chosen by his face to plant a big wet one on his lips. Everyone recoiled at the sight. After nearly a full minute, Marcus broke the kiss. "Merci, Monsieur Chosen."

"Oh, thank you!" Chosen blushed.

"Are you gay or something, dude?" Haru asked Marcus as he walked back over to the group.

"Bi actually," Marcus corrected, unashamed. "That's not a problem, is it?"

"Hey, you can swing whichever way you want, man."

"Merci. Thank you for understanding."

"Then the plan is clear," Komei said. "You all will form a raid party and storm the RinJyuDen. Once inside, use your LockPhones to find them."

"Here," Sousou offered the sword to Ryuubi.

"You're giving this to me?" Ryuubi asked.

"I have a feeling you'll need it," Sousou reasoned.

Ryuubi took the Sojyuto from Sousou and as soon as she grasped the hilt, she felt something. It was like the blade was alive and decided she was worthy. Without waiting for a second, she ran straight into the portal. The others were about to follow when it suddenly closed.

"Aneue!" Kanu yelled. "Chosen, open it back up again!"

"Alright!" Chosen concentrated and like before and punched the air, only for nothing to happen. He paled in horrified realisation. "Oh, no. Not good."

"What are you doing, Chosen!?" Kanu demanded. "Open another portal right now."

"I can't," Chosen informed her. "Something's preventing me from opening another portal."

"Dai Shi," Shibai concluded.

"He must've sensed the last portal and forced it close," Chosen confirmed.

"But she's all by herself! What are we supposed to do!?" Kanu yelled desperately.

"Pray and hope she survives," Chosen said grimly. "Like it or not, it's all up to her."

"Aneue..." Kanu murmured and clasped her hands together in prayer. "Gods in Heaven, please protect her."

Chapter 63: Shine! Rise of the Celestial War God

Ryuubi stepped out of the portal which suddenly closed behind her. She turned around to find the portal gone and she was by herself without any backup.

"OK, this does not look good," Ryuubi said and then she found the boys. They were all chained to statues. "Nagata-sama!" Ryuubi ran over to him. He looked pale and unresponsive. "Please, please don't be dead again, Nagata-sama." She checked his pulse and was relieved to feel it even though it was faint. He was still alive but weak. It was likely the same for the others. She saw Masataka was tied up like the rest of them. So, Dai Shi had indeed taken the White Devil of Son Go prisoner.

She saw strands of energy being pulled from the boys and looked up to see the Seal of Heaven floating in the air.

"It must be draining them," Ryuubi concluded. "Don't worry, Nagata-sama, I'm going to save you and the others."

"No, you won't."

Ryuubi gasped and turned around to see Dai Shi standing across from her from the other side of the room.

"Dai Shi," Ryuubi identified.

"Ryuubi Gentoku, I foresaw your rise to power. However, this is something I had not foreseen," Dai Shi responded.

"You will release Nagata-sama and the others, now," she demanded.

"Oh, and who will make me? You?" Dai Shi mocked.

"Yes!" Ryuubi responded as she drew the Sojyuto and pointed it at Dai Shi threateningly. She would prefer to go the diplomatic route, but this was not a situation that demanded diplomacy. Dai Shi had made his choice and declared he would kill everyone. She knew that he could not be reasoned with so the only possible path now was to defeat him, save the boys, and save everyone.

Once the sword was drawn from its scabbard, Dai Shi finally recognised it. It was a katana with a blue hilt that resembled a rhinoceros and its horn was the blade. Near the tip of the curved blade was a red gem.

"My Sojyuto!? Where did you get that!?" Dai Shi demanded as he saw the sacred sword in Ryuubi's possession. When he had tried to claim it from Brusa Li, it had gone missing, which drove him to kill his former teacher in a fit of rage.

"It was given to me by a friend," Ryuubi claimed.

Dai Shi's eyes narrowed but then his lips spread into a smile.

"Then you've delivered my trophy to me." He shouldn't curse her for possessing his Sojyuto but instead, thank her for bringing it to him. Now, all he had to do was to take it from her cold, dead hand.

"Dai Shi, you may be more powerful than I but that doesn't mean you will win."

"And what makes you believe that, Ryuubi Gentoku?"

"Because as long as I breathe, I shall never give up nor give in," Ryuubi swore with pure unshakeable resolve. "And we will win because, unlike you, we have something to protect!"

As Ryuubi prepared to battle Dai Shi, her magatama flashed and a draconic aura emerged from her body, taking Dai Shi by surprise. The draconic aura merged with Ryuubi, forming her helmet and Ride Wear suit. Her SengokuDriver appeared around her waist with the Gaim Lockseed already loaded with its core exposed. Her Ride Wear suit quickly changed into a silver armored bodysuit with red lines that ran up her legs and arms, converging into a circle in the centre of her chest.

A heavenly portal opened and from it, her Dragon Fighter Armor emerged. It hovered over her before it broke apart and the pieces adorned her body. Blue, gold-trimmed dragon mail bracers and greaves attached to her forearms and shins while the torso armor attached itself to her body. Protective faulds hung from her belt as her chestplate held a circular sapphire jewel in the center. Her broad pauldrons attached to her shoulders, each decorated by a golden dragon. Behind her, a pair of metal dragon wings hung from her shoulder blades like a cape. Finally, the Dragon Fighter Kabuto merged with her helmet and her visor flashed.

Armored War Goddess Gaimu had become Armored War Goddess Liu Bei Gaimu.

Dai Shi looked at Liu Bei Gaimu then at the Seal of Heaven as it hovered in the air, shining brightly. It had yet to fully drain the Sovereigns completely, but it had drained them enough for what he was about to do.

"Very well, if you want to die so much, who am I to stop you?" Dai Shi snapped his fingers and the Seal of Heaven sent out streaks of energy which flew around Dai Shi. They slammed into him, creating new pieces of armor, forming greaves, faulds, a chestplate, gauntlets, pauldrons and finally a helmet.

Dai Shi's new suit of armor was gold with a skeletal dragon motif. His helmet's faceplate had sharp fangs with a skeletal dragon emerging from the wing-shaped crest and a dark visor. In the centre of his ribcage-like chestplate was a dark crystal gem in the shape of an inverted triangle. He also had gold dragon skulls mounted on his shoulders as pauldrons. His gauntlets were ribbed with sharp fingertips. Finally, he had a regal black cape hanging from his back.

Much to Liu Bei Gaimu's surprise, Dai Shi new armored form resembled a golden skeletal version of Imperial Gaim. This was the Golden Imperial Armor of Heaven and he was now Huanglong Dai Shi. He could feel the unimaginable power coursing through his veins. Unlike these phonies who claimed to be Armored War Gods, he was a true god, with dominion over life and death!

"If the Sojyuto has chosen you then I must kill you to reclaim it," Dai Shi decided as he summoned his Dai Shiken. In the blink of an eye, he was right in front of Liu Bei Gaimu to swing his at her. She parried his strike before retaliating with her own, sparks flying as they violently clashed

Liu Bei Gaimu was fierce as she fought against Dai Shi. This new armor, which combined the power of her Gaim Arms and Dragon Fighter Armor was miraculous, gave her the power to hold her own against Dai Shi. In addition, the Sojyuto felt natural as she skillfully wielded it.

"The Sojyuto is mine by right," Dai Shi claimed as he locked swords with her, sparks coming off as steel ground against steel. "You do not deserve it!"

"Then why does it allow me to wield it?" Liu Bei Gaimu countered. "You fear it, don't you? That's why you wish to claim it."

"I fear nothing!" Dai Shi spat.

"Nothing but death!" Liu Bei Gaimu shouted as she broke the deadlock and swung the Sojyuto but he blocked it with his forearm. She gasped, stunned, as he knocked the wind out of her with a palm strike, throwing her to the floor.

"You're just a little girl who worships a false idol," Dai Shi taunted. "And you had a terrible teacher. Following him will now lead to your death."

"Shut up!" Liu Bei Gaimu charged at him with a slash but he sidestepped her strike. She swung again and he blocked with the Dai Shiken. "Nagata-sama taught me what it means to be a warrior, to fight for a worthy cause! I will not let you slander him further!"

"Then please silence me. If you can," Dai Shi challenged.

She swung for his neck but he leaned his body backwards while kicking her in the stomach. As she doubled over, he grabbed her helmet to raise her up and kick her across the room.

Liu Bei Gaimu slammed against the wall yet did not fall. She recovered quickly and charged at Dai Shi. Liu Bei Gaimu attempted to cut him down but he parried her strikes before landing his own, ripping sparks from her armor. He did not even seem like he was taking her seriously.

He parried another strike and slashed her three times across the chest before sending her tumbling with a forward thrust.

"Maybe it's a good thing you are here, Ryuubi Gentoku. You may be the first to experience my power," Dai Shi boasted.

"No, this is where I'll witness your defeat!" Gaimu spat in defiance, hitting her Cutting Blade thrice.

[GAIM SPARKING! KACHIDOKI SPARKING!]

Orange energy erupted from Liu Bei Gaimu and assumed the form of a dragon as she leaped into the air. At the apex of her jump, a trail of orange energy slices appeared between her and Dai Shi, forming a pathway. Her wings spread out behind her as she dove at Dai Shi, travelling through the energizing orange slices. With each slice she passed through, her power and speed increased. Dai Shi fired Rinki blasts at Liu Bei Gaimu but she managed to evade them all before landing the killing blow.

"This is the end for you!" Liu Bei Gaimu declared as she slammed straight into him at high speeds and he let out a pained grunt as she buried Sojyuto's blade deep in his gut. She withdrew the blade and watched as Dai Shi put a hand over his injury. He staggered backwards before he collapsed in a lifeless heap.

Dai Shi was defeated.

"Now to free the boys," Liu Bei Gaimu was about to walk over to the Sovereigns when she felt a sudden spike of dark energy. She spun around to watch the spot where she had left Dai Shi and saw a dark glow around him as he stood back up.

"My dear..." Dai Shi gave her a menacing glare. "That was a mistake..." He took his hand away, revealing no injury at all, much to Liu Bei Gaimu's surprise. He flicked his wrist, igniting the spine-like blade of his Dai Shiken with flames of Dorinki as it extended into a whip sword. He swung at Liu Bei Gaimu who attempted to parry his attack with the Sojyuto but the whip sword wrapped around the blade and ripped the sword out of her hands, tossing it aside.

Once Dai Shi had disarmed her, he slashed her repeatedly with his whip sword. Then in a burst of blinding speed, he grabbed Liu Bei Gaimu by the neck and chokeslammed her against the wall. Pinned between Dai Shi and the wall, she tried to pry his fingers off.

"I commend you for lasting this long and wounding me but this is where your journey ends, Ryuubi Gentoku," Dai Shi spoke menacingly. "Do you have any last words before I snuff the life out of you? Maybe you can try and beg for mercy. It could earn you a few more extra minutes."

As Dai Shi choked the life out of her, Ryuubi began to remember how her life had led to this moment. She had lost her precious family heirloom after being conned by Nise, met her idol Armored War God Gaim, gone on an adventure to reclaim her sword only to sacrifice it to save a village, and stopped the Chou Sisters' Yellow Turban Rebellion. Since then, she participated in many battles. She had also become sisters with Chouhi and Kanu. She even became Nagata's lover after he became her teacher.

She had become so much more than a simple straw mat maker. She had become a warrior, a hero, and a leader. She had become someone her ancestors would be proud of.

And it was all thanks to Kanu, Chouhi and Nagata.

"Never lose hope," Nagata's voice echoed in her mind.

"Always keep fighting," Chouhi's voice joined in.

"Never surrender," Kanu's voice urged her.

Her eyes snapped open as she remembered what she was fighting for; she was fighting for her family, for their lives, and their happiness. That was why she must stop Dai Shi and his twisted ambition, right here and now.

With renewed and strengthened resolve, Liu Bei Gaimu broke Dai Shi's grip on her neck to kick him in the chest, sending him sliding back.

"Huh!?"

"I will never surrender when there are still people I must protect!" Liu Bei Gaimu boldly declared. As if responding to her resolve, the Seal of Heaven took the power it had given to Dai Shi, reverting him to his Demon Beast King Armor, and sent it to Liu Bei Gaimu. This caused her body to shine with a brilliant golden radiance as a pair of dragon wings burst from her back.

[CELESTIAL ARMS! ARISE AND SHINE! DAI RYUJIN HOLY EMPEROR]

Transformed, Ryuubi was now clad in a new suit of armor. Covering her head was a gold helmet made to resemble a tsuinari kabuto with a gold dragon rising from the brow. The bodysuit was silver with golden greaves and gauntlets that were etched with the image of dragons. Her torso was protected by a simple chestplate that was decorated by a pair of vine-like patterns on the sides. An image of a pair of dragon claws holding a basket's worth of assorted gem-like fruits filled up the space between them. Pauldrons with claws on them rested on her shoulders while faulds hung from her belt. It was truly a magnificent sight to behold as the wings merged, turning into a golden cape that hung from her back.

This was Celestial War Goddess Gaimu.

Bathed in Celestial Gaimu's golden brilliance, Nagata recovered enough of his strength to regain consciousness.

He opened his eyes and saw a figure clad in gold standing before Dai Shi.

"I must be dreaming," he murmured.

"No, you're not," Karasu said as she appeared beside him.

"Kara-chan."

"Ryuubi's here and she's fighting Dai Shi to try and save you."

That was Ryuubi!? Now Nagata was fully awake.

"Guys! Guys, wake up!" Nagata shouted. "Dammit, wake up!"

His loud voice stirred the other Sovereigns awake.

"Five more minutes, please," Hideyoshi groaned.

"We don't have five minutes!" Nagata snapped back.

"What's going on, Oda? What's happening?" Mitsuki questioned.

"And who's that?" Masataka asked when he saw Celestial Gaimu.

"That's Ryuubi!" Nagata answered.

"Ryuubi!?" Mitsuki, Hideyoshi and Masataka yelled in disbelief.

Celestial Gaimu could feel the Golden Celestial Armor's power flowing through her veins. With this new power, she was sure to win.

"My light is the blade that will cut through your darkness!" Celestial Gaimu declared, her azure visor shining brightly.

"...Impossible," Dai Shi hissed in denial, gawking in disbelief as Celestial Gaimu stood before him, wearing brilliant golden armor which radiated with the power of the Seal of Heaven.

But that was impossible! The power belonged to him, Dai Shi!

"RYUUBI GENTOKU!" Enraged, Dai Shi roared as he rushed at Celestial Gaimu who tore off her cape to throw it at Dai Shi's face, blinding him. Taking advantage of the distraction, she delivered a dropkick, sending Dai Shi crashing into the wall.

Celestial Gaimu flipped back on her feet and assumed a boxer's stance.

"Is that the best you've got?" she challenged, with a 'come here' gesture.

"Damn you, Ryuubi! That power is rightfully mine!" Dai Shi roared as he charged at Celestial Gaimu again. The two of them furiously traded punches before they started to grapple. "Why do you continue to resist, Ryuubi!? Why do you continue to fight!?"

"I fight for their smiles, their hopes and their dreams!" Celestial Gaimu shouted. She gave Dai Shi a hard headbutt, breaking them apart. While Dai Shi was stunned, Celestial Gaimu attacked with chain punches which terminated into a double palm strike, sending him reeling. Dai Shi threw a punch in retaliation but Celestial Gaimu managed to deflect it and countered with a hard punch in his gut. As he doubled over, she moved behind him and wrapped her arms tightly around his midsection to lift him for a perfect suplex, slamming him headfirst into the floor. As Dai Shi lay dazed on the ground, Celestial Gaimu kicked him straight into the wall, making a crater on impact before he dropped to the floor.

Was he going to lose? No, that was impossible!

"I am invincible! I am God, the supreme being!" Unwilling to accept defeat, Dai Shi rose and summoned his Dai Shiken, pouring Dorinki into the blade. "DIE! HUANGLONG STRIKE!"

Swinging the Dai Shiken, he generated a golden dragon and sent it roaring towards Celestial Gaimu. Instead of dodging, she punched the dragon, shattering it. The resulting energy feedback traveled along the length of the Dai Shiken's blade, destroying the sword as Dai Shi recoiled.

"Ryuubi...PUNCH!"

Celestial Gaimu delivered an explosive haymaker right into his face, shattering his helmet and sending him tumbling across the room before he rolled to a stop by a wall.

With the fight over, Ryuubi's armor lost its golden shine and vanished. At the same time, the chains holding the Sovereigns shattered as well, freeing them. Masataka looked over at the Sojyuto which lay on the floor and his eyes narrowed.

Defeated and stripped of his armor, Dai Shi looked so small and powerless now.

"I...I lost?" Dai Shi croaked out, unable to believe his own defeat. "How? How could you have beaten me, Ryuubi Gentoku?"

"You may have had power, but you were all alone, with nobody to support you. You fought only for yourself and you did not have any friends to give you strength. All you did was take strength from others and exploit them," Ryuubi explained. "What happened to you, Dai Shi? What made you this way?"

"I just wanted to bring peace," Dai Shi rasped.

"That's not something you can force. True peace comes from understanding people, from appreciating and accepting different ideas. Harmony is not about being the same, it's about different people finding common ground and reaching out to each other. I know we have our differences, Dai Shi, but I know there is a way we can coexist. There is always a better way if we can take the time to look for it. So how about we start by making peace?"

Dai Shi looked at Ryuubi incredulously. Was she serious?

"Speak for yourselves," Mitsuki scoffed as he approached with the others, glowering at Dai Shi. "He still needs to answer for his crimes."

"And he shall!" Masataka yelled as he went to stab Dai Shi with the Sojyuto. "This is for Minato!" Nagata quickly caught his wrist before he could kill Dai Shi. "Let me go, Nagata! This bastard deserves to die!"

"No, Masataka. There's been too much death already. Besides, he's already beaten. It's over," Nagata told him. "Killing him now would just prove we were no better than he was. Just because we have power, that does not give us a right to decide who lives and who dies."

"He killed my brother!" Masataka protested.

"I understand," Nagata said sympathetically. He had lost Karasu who had been like a sister to him. "But we're better than this. So please, put down the sword."

Masataka closed his eyes and cried as the Sojyuto slipped from his fingers.

Dai Shi lay there, pondering Ryuubi's words. She was offering to make peace with him, to end this war. There were no lies in her words, not a single deception.

Dai Shi believed that with his power, he could do whatever he wanted. After all, it was survival of the fittest. Only the strong could rule and decide for the weak. That was just the natural order of things. However, he had nobody to share that power. He was all alone.

He had killed his own father, the man who had taken him in when he had lost everything and raised him as his own son.

"Shishou...father..." A tear fell from his eye, a genuine tear of remorse. "...I'm so sorry."

With his last words spoken, Dai Shi's body darkened and he crumbled to black dust.

"Shit," Saito cursed quietly as he retreated from the doorway. He had gone to witness Dai Shi finally giving Mitsuki and his buddies what they deserved. When the redhead had shown up, he expected Dai Shi to just kill her. What a shame, though. The girl looked like a screamer and Saito could have had fun with her. What he had not expected was for her to actually put up a fight and put the curbstomp on Dai Shi. Now that Dai Shi was gone and the Sovereigns were free, Saito did not like his odds. What was that old saying? Oh, yes. 'He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day'. "Well, time to bail."

As Saito reached into his pocket to take out a teleportation talisman, he felt his entire body tingle uncomfortably. He looked at his hand and saw it dissolving, much to his horror. It did not take him long to realise what was happening to him.

He owed his new life to Dai Shi and now that he was gone that meant Saito would be going along with him.

"No, no, no, no!" Saito protested as he did not want to die again but there was nothing he could do as his whole body dissolved and returned to nothingness. "NOOOOoooooooo...!"

The Seal of Heaven hovered down to Ryuubi who caught it in her hands. As Nagata looked at their trophy, its eyes flashed with a blinding light that enveloped the entire chamber.

KRC: This chapter went through multiple revisions before I finally settled on this. The original draft had Nagata becoming the Celestial War God but then I had an idea to replace him with Ryuubi. Another change I did is to focus on just one final battle instead of it being two battles. Another thing is that I took out all the content that made the chapter far too bloated. In the end, I settled with this version. Now, for some info on Ryuubi and Dai Shi's new forms.

Huanglong Dai Shi: The Golden Imperial Armor of Heaven is accessed by Dai Shi to demonstrate his new power. The armor has a skeletal dragon motif and he still wields the Dai Shiken in this form. It is meant to possess the full power of the Seal of Heaven. It bears a passing resemblance to Imperial Gaim.

Gaim Arms (Liu Bei): This is an enhanced version of Ryuubi's Gaim Arms which is augmented by her Dragon Fighter Armor. She also has wings in this form that allow her to fly. She wields the Sojyuto in this form and is almost a match for Huanglong Dai Shi.

Celestial Arms: The Celestial War God is Ryuubi's Ultimate Form as she is clad in the Golden Imperial Armor of Heaven. When the Seal of Heaven recognizes her resolve, it grants her its power while stripping it from Dai Shi. This form allowed Ryuubi to effortlessly defeat Dai Shi. It resembles Gaim Kiwami Arms.

BL92: Looks like the AWG series is about to come to an end. Sure there's a lot of revisions that Chrome had to do and obviously that he had a good reason for that too, but he had made his choice and he's sticking to it like super glue. Hope you like it.

When Nagata opened his eyes, he found himself standing in the middle of the misty Helheim Forest.

"How...how did I get here?" he wondered. "Wait, where are the others?"

"They're not here, Nagata-kun, or should I call you Nagata-sama?" Nagata looked to see his history teacher, Ran Tenmaru, approach with a smile. "Congratulations, Nagata-sama! You have successfully made Ryuubi Gentoku into the true hero of this story and saved the world!"

"Wait, hold on, what's going on?" Nagata was confused. "What do you mean 'story'?"

Ran Tenmaru showed him the book she was holding. The cover read:

'SANGOKUDEN ARMORED WAR GODS SAGA'.

"This story, your story, the story you started and have now finished," Ran answered.

Nagata took the book and flipped it open to the first page. He remembered this. It was the first day he met Kanu. He flipped to another random page and read about how he decided to return to the world of the Three Kingdoms after Ukitsu banished him and the others back to their world. He continued to read all about his experiences in the world of the Three Kingdoms, with no details left out.

"I don't understand. How is this possible, Tenmaru-sensei?" Nagata questioned as he goggled at the book.

"It's pretty complicated but the easiest way to explain it is that this whole story was born from your wish. Remember that mirror in the museum? That's what started this all," Ran explained.

He flipped it over to the end, as it showed Ryuubi defeating Dai Shi and claiming the Seal of Heaven.

After that, the pages were all blank.

"What happens next?" Nagata asked.

"As Dai Shi has been defeated, the story is over," Ran Tenmaru informed Nagata.

"What do you mean?"

"When a story is over, that's The End."

"Wait, what do you mean it's over? It can't be the end! What about my friends?"

"It's time to go home."

"Wait, Tenmaru-sensei!"

"Go home and wake up."

"Wait-!"

"THE END!"
