While Emma saved several kids and slaughtered any demon she caught on their own, Lewis had found Theo and his two siblings hiding out in one of the houses.
He raised his claws to kill the eldest, the coward, as the youngest froze up in fear.
"63194!" The girl however had blurted out something that made Lewis stop just an inch away from skewering the eldest.
"What did you say?" Lewis demanded as his eyes immediately focused on the girl.
"Premium quality experimental child 63194!" The girl said and her brothers were glad that she had managed to blurt that out. The two of them had frozen up in fear and completely forgot what Emma had told them to say.
"How do you know about that and that number?" Lewis demanded as he stared down the obviously frightened child who was still putting on a brave face as she stood protectively in front of the youngest.
"She told us! The girl, Emma, who had saved us! She had told us to say that if you or one of the other demons chased after us!" The girl said and Lewis was frozen for a few seconds. The girl who had saved them? The one who he had thought had a red eye and the feel of a demoness?
"Describe the girl." Lewis ordered quietly.
"A-about this tall, black numbers on the side of her neck, orange hair with black tips, two different colored eyes one red and one purple and some of her teeth were really sharp." The coward described the girl who had saved them, motioning with his hands for her height and Lewis gave a small smile at hearing the description of the little huntress.
"I see…so she has made her way here then. Very well." Lewis said and he sounded pleased as he turned away from them. They had relayed the message to him from his daughter, had let him know that his daughter was the one to save them and kill Luce. He would let them live for now…if he found them a second time during a hunt however then they would be fair game.
Right now, however, he needed to meet up with the other Lords and let them know that one of the children was for capturing only not killing. Not just that…but he had to make sure that there was food prepared for his daughter. He was sure she was starved for the food she truly needed while raised as cattle, and she had managed to escape the farm before her birthday came where he could reclaim her and let her know of her rightful place in the world if she chose to accept it.
It was a shame, he had a nice premium quality meal ready to be delivered for her birthday but she had managed to escape and didn't get to enjoy it. Not that he was surprised she had escaped. She was of his blood after all.
She was not just a demon as well but a royal demoness. Of course no mere cattle farm could hold her. How could it when she was far above the cattle in every way and, from the reports he had gotten, hadn't even broken a sweat to get perfect scores every day since she started testing. She was smarter and stronger than any mere cattle could be, of course she had gotten free from a place meant to hold food.
The look in her eyes earlier when she had killed Luce had told him something else as well. That his daughter was a predator. A hunter. Not a hunter in training but a full grown predator that knew where she stood on the food chain and how to keep that spot.
Yes the demon blood ran strong in his little girl. He wasn't sure if she'd be up to eating humans immediately since she was raised as one…but the least he could do for when he saw her later would be offering her a glass of the finest purest blood he could get his hands on.
She must have been starving so much these last twelve years and didn't even know why if she was kept ignorant of the truth like she was supposed to have been.
Well Lewis would have to change that now! His little girl was here right where he could see her, talk to her, teach her…she was here and he wouldn't let her slip out of his fingers.
What kind of father would he be if he did? His little princess deserved only the finest after all and he could deliver that with utmost ease.
