3rd Person POV:
"What do you mean he can't? Wasn't that the whole point of sacrificing Elena so he could change between wolf and vampire whenever he got that little tingle?" Damon asks
"We all thought it was strange he never showed up for her blood, what if this was why?" Vee asks
Stefan thinks about it, "So you think he's been stuck like this the whole time?"
Vee looks down to Klaus, "Yeah I do."
"Is this something you saw happen before?" Elena asks.
"No, I never saw something like this happen to Klaus." Vee purses her lips unsure if she should continue,
"There's more isn't there? Did you see it happen to someone else?" Damon says seeing through her a bit,
"It was a curse placed on the Cresent Wolf pack on the outskirts of New Orleans, they were trapped in wolf form only capable of changing back on the full moon."
"So it's like a reverse Lycan curse," Caroline comments
"Pretty much."
"How do you lift it?" Rebekah demands
"I don't know, I don't know who did this to him or how... why."
"She has a point your brother is not exactly short on enemies," Damon adds.
"Well, who was responsible for it in the version you saw?" Matt asks wanting to support Rebekah
Vee looks down to Klaus,
"Oh you've got to be kidding me," Rebekah says in frustration but not at all surprised.
"He eventually did get the curse lifted but he needed the Ancestor's approval first," Vee explains
"Bonnie, any chance you have them on speed dial?" Damon asks to which Bonnie just rolls her eyes.
Vee kneels down, somewhat clumsily because of her size, in front of Klaus.
"Careful," Stefan warns.
Vee nods, "Klaus can you understand us?"
Damon narrows his eyes, "I'm sorry did this suddenly turn into Dr. Dolittle?"
"Can you put your head down on your left paw for no, right paw for yes?" Vee asks trying to come up with a way to communicate with Klaus.
He dips his nose down and touches his right paw, indicating yes.
"That's a neat trick."
"Shut up!" Rebekah says in response to another annoying comment from Damon.
"Do you know who did this to you?" Vee asks and Klaus indicates yes.
Thinking out loud to herself, "unfortunately Damon is right your list of enemies is endless. Only being able to ask yes or no questions will take forever... we're gonna need to narrow it down."
"Is it someone I have met?" Vee asks and Klaus indicates yes.
"Okay, that's good. Umm let me see, was it the Martins?" Vee asks thinking they might have wanted vengeance for Greta but Klaus indicates no.
"Was is someone from your family?" She asks next not having come face to face with too many "villains."
Klaus indicates yes, and everyone stands up a bit straighter, some even looking towards Rebekah,
"Well, it bloody well wasn't me!" She says in her defense.
"Was it Finn?" Vee asks and Klaus indicates no,
"Rebekah?" Vee asks much to Matt and Rebekah's chagrin, "hey!" but Klaus is quick to indicate no.
"Your mother?" Yes.
"Damn and I thought Stefan and I had shitty parents," Damon can't help but comment.
"Elijah turned her how would she have been able to?" Elena asks,
"Even if she was no longer the original witch, she used to be. I'm sure that was enough to grant her a sizable following regardless of her current vampire status" Stefan says explaining.
"When's the next full moon?" Vee asks
Caroline is quick to pull up her phone, "it's in 6 days."
Vee turns back to Klaus, "In 6 days meet us back here, if you can transform back at least we know what was done to you, and we'll come up with a plan to try and reverse it."
"And what's he supposed to do until then?" Rebekah asks
"He's made it this far, 6 more days of roughing it isn't going to kill him," Vee says.
"And what if he isn't able to turn back on the next full moon?" Matt asks causing Rebekah to look worried.
"I don't know, but until then no more killing off the town's population," Vee warns but Klaus only tilts his head in a 'why not' gesture.
6 days later...
Damon is at Lavender and Honey's waiting for Vee to close up early for the day to take her over to the Boarding House.
"I'm just saying would it be the worst thing in the world if we just left him like this, I mean why is this our problem, he's the one that wanted to be a wolf so badly," Damon complains to Vee
"Oh so you want to be vulnerable to a werewolf attack, fatal to vampires... just in case you forgot, 28 days out of the month... every month, forever?"
Damon narrows his eyes, "fine we'll help."
"How gracious of you," Vee replies dryly.
about 20 minutes later Vee and Damon pulled up to the Boarding House and saw everyone standing outside,
"What's going on?"
Matt comes forward, "It worked he was able to transform back but,"
"But what?"
"Tyler came over wanted to talk to him alone," he explains.
"And you all thought that was a good idea!" Vee exclaims worried for Tyler,
"We weren't exactly given a choice," Stefan says in their defense, but Vee walks by them and opens the door bravely going inside to deal with it herself.
as she walks towards the raised voices she overhears part of their conversation,
"Your father was about to shoot your damn head off, is a thank you really asking too much?"
"I didn't need your help!"
"No, but I gave it to you anyway"
"Why!"
"Because no one ever did it for me!"
"Our fathers were not so different, every other word out of mine's would constantly be used to belittle and humiliate me, I heard him call you an abomination, let's just say I've been there. Hello, love." Klaus turns as Vee walks into the room.
"Tyler are you okay?" Vee asks
"No, nothing about this is okay," he says and walks away.
"Children today, absolutely no manners," Klaus comments "So have you found a way to undo my Mother's latest attempt to control my eternal life?"
"In a way, the ring Tyler wears that allows him to not turn on the full moon, if Bonnie is able to make something similar it could hold the curse off temporarily."
"That's it? So what she wins again, I have to choose between being a werewolf or a vampire denying half of my existence!" Klaus asks furious about the situation.
"Well good news, the spell calls for hair from your wolf so you have another month of being all you can be before we're even able to try this stopgap measure."
Klaus' anger and bravado drop, just for a moment, before he puts back up the walls around himself but in that moment Vee was able to tell just how vulnerable and scared he really is feeling.
"Fantastic, another month running around in the wild, being top of the food chain," Klaus says in an upbeat manner but they both know he's lying.
