Drew barely waited for the doors to open before he was bounding off the elevator and scurrying over to the nurse's station.

"Drew! You're back," Monica gushed as she rushes over to hug him.

"Hey Mom." Drew chuckles, giving her a big squeeze and rubbing her back.

"How are you? Are you feeling okay?" Monica worries. She leads Drew over to the waiting area couches to sit down.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. You don't need to fuss or worry." Drew smiles at Monica.

"You're my son, I'm always going to worry and fuss." Monica retorts, lightly slapping Drews cheek.

Drew leans over and give Monica a peck on the cheek and another quick side embrace. He looks past Monica and scans the floor, obviously looking for someone. Monica notices his distraction and smiles slightly.

"Am I keeping you from something?" she asks coyly.

Drew chuckles softly and squeezes her hand.

"I'm sorry, I just thought Jo would be here. I've been calling her phone. I thought she would meet us here." Drew worriedly replies.

"We?" Monica inquires. "I take it that means, your mission was successful."

"Very successful." Drew retorts, with a huge smile.

"I'm glad that it all worked out. I haven't seen Jo around here today. I've been pretty busy here at the hospital, since you've been gone so I haven't seen her at the house either."

"Okay, I'm sure she'll turn up. If you see her will you tell her I'm looking for her? Also, her brother is in room, 3012."

Monica's pager begins to beep. She pulls out the small device and checks the message.

"Ooh, I've got to take this." She explains as she begins to rush off. "I'll tell Jo if I see her. Glad your back. I'll see you later!" She calls out as she hurries away.

Drew pulls out his phone and sends yet another text to Jo. 'Hey! I'm back, with your best present ever! Seriously, I have your birthday and Christmas for years to come. HaHa! Get to the hospital!'

Just as he hits send on the text Curtis steps off the elevator and calls out to Drew.

"Hey brotha!" He slaps Drew on the back and steps in for a slight hug. "Glad to see you in one piece, man."

"It's good to be in one piece." Drew chuckles, grabbing Curtis on the shoulder. "So, your text said we needed to meet, right away. I'm guessing that means you have good news for me?"

"Yeah, well, I have news. Do you want to discuss this here?" Curtis motions to the waiting area and points to his ear.

"Um, yeah, good idea let's take a walk." Drew acknowledges and begins to lead Curtis toward the elevator.

Just as the two men step into the elevator, Kim comes from around the corner where she had been eavesdropping.

"I'm sorry Drew, but Jo won't be meeting you at the hospital anytime soon. Don't worry my love, I'll be there to pick up the pieces." Kim stares off longingly at the elevator lost in her thoughts. She quickly comes back to reality when she hears her pager going off. After she checks the message she scurries off in the other direction.

"Here, let's sit here." Drew suggests, pointing to a bench in the small flower garden area, outside the east entrance of the hospital. "I don't want to get too far away from here in case Deke needs something." Drew explains.

"Cool, cool." Curtis replies. "Let me get into what I found out," he continues. "As I thought, there was no way to get the video footage from the hotel for that far back, but that doesn't mean I didn't find anything. Your old buddy Curtis, hooked you up!" Curtis exclaims in excitement.

"Hey, hey, were trying to be discreet, remember." Drew cracks back, fanning his hands, motioning for Curtis to tone it down.

"Yeah, sorry dude, I'm just happy your back with no bullet holes in you. Anyway, anyway, this Kim chick has some interesting history. She goes all the way back to San Diego with you."

"Yes, unfortunately. She was Jo's friend. She always wanted to hang around us. I thought she had this weird fixation on Jo."

"Yeah, I see that, except, I don't think her fixation was with Jo." Curtis explains plainly.

"What do you mean?" Drew quizzes.

"Well, your old buddy Curtis here found out some nice juicy stuff about cuckoo Kim. Trust me, it wasn't easy either. I had to turn on the charm extra hard to get a look at her school records." Curtis says, as a sly smile crosses his face.

Drew rolls his eyes slightly and lets out a little sigh.

"Okay, yeah buddy, you've got a way with the ladies." Drew replies, flicking his wrist in a circular motion, signaling Curtis to get on with it. "What exactly did you find out?"

Curtis leans into Drew, pulls some papers out of his folder and hands them to Drew.

"Well, some of the details are kind of fuzzy since it was so many years ago, but Kim almost got kicked out of medical school."

"What?!" Drew exclaims kind of loudly. He realizes his outburst and looks around to see if he had attracted any attention. "Sorry, please go on." Drew instructs Curtis.

"Yeah, she was turned in by some anonymous person for unstable behavior and being in possession of a strong sedative" Curtis continues as he points out information to Drew in the pages.

"Anonymous source, huh? Any idea of who it was?"

Curtis darts back from Drew and shoots him a dirty look.

"Drew, man, come on! I told you I had to turn on the extra charm." Curtis teases. "While the person is not named anywhere in the report, I'm pretty certain from the information I received that the person who turned her in was…..Jo."

"Oh my God!" Drew exclaims quietly. "That explains so much. So what happened? If Jo turned her in, I'm pretty sure she must have had proof, so why didn't Kim get kicked out?"

"Yeah, that's where things get even more interesting. Again, there is nothing official, but I was able to talk to a woman who was working in the administration at the time and she says that a man came and spoke to the Dean. After that the case was buried and no one ever talked about it again."

"A man, huh. Did this woman have any idea who it was?" Drew questions.

"Well, she couldn't be sure, but on a hunch, I showed her a picture of Peter August and the woman thought that she had remembered him as the man."

"That son of a bitch! Peter paid them off to let Kim stay!"

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking too." Curtis chimed in agreement.

Drew rubbed his hand over his face and let out a loud sigh.

"Okay so, Jo turned Kim in for unstable behavior, what does that mean? Does this report say exactly what?"

Curtis looked down at the ground and folded his hands. He then looked back at Drew sheepishly.

"Curtis, what?! What is it?" Drew asked with annoyance.

"Man, this woman, Kim, she had it bad for you. Maybe still does." Curtis explains as he pulls a couple pictures from the folder in his hand. "This was still in the report. Apparently, she had some kind of a shrine to you. Pictures, memento's the whole nine yards."

"What the he…." Drew quietly whispers. He started scanning over the picture Curtis has handed him. Drew shot up from his seat quickly and began pacing. "Okay, so Kim had an obsession with me back in San Diego, that actually makes a lot of sense. The fixation wasn't on Jo, it was on me. Man, I can't believe I missed that." Drew chides himself.

"That explains her whole plan with telling me Oscar was my son. She was banking on me not fully remembering and just going with the feeling that I knew her. She was counting on the fact that I would just go with that and not ask a lot of questions, which of course is what I did. Ugh, I can't believe I was so stupid!"

"Hey man, go easy. There is no way you could have known. You didn't remember, you trusted that she was telling the truth."

Drew let's out a little chuckle.

"Yeah, well, obviously that was a mistake. So, what about now? What did you find out about her now, do you have evidence she's up to something?" Drew rapidly fires off the questions.

Curtis stands up and puts his hand on Drew's shoulder.

"Easy man, easy." Curtis lets out a sigh. "I actually did find a few interesting things."

"Oh yeah, like what?"

"Like some drugs went missing from the hospital about a week ago. A sedative, the same sedative she was caught with back in San Diego."

"Was Kim involved in them disappearing?"

"No one knows. The hospital is investigating but so far, no one knows anything. And there is something else, it could be nothing, but…."

"What, what is it, Curtis? I don't think anything 'could be nothing,' with Kim." Drew presses.

"Earlier this month she started renting a storage unit." Curtis explains. "I haven't been able to figure out which unit is hers, but I know which facility she's renting at."

"A storage unit, huh. Interesting. I'd sure like to know what she's keeping there." Drew babbles softly.

"Yeah, I thought you might. I'm working my connection but I haven't gotten anything yet. Sure wish, Sam was back in town, this could use a woman's touch, if you know what I mean." Curtis smiles slyly.

"Wait, what do you mean? Sam's out of town? How long has she been gone?"

"I'm not sure, at least a few days. Her mom told me she was out of town." Curtis explains. "Come to think of it. It's been more than a few days. She supposedly went out of town the night you collapsed."

A wash of panic flooded over Drew. He suddenly felt something was very wrong. He realized he hadn't checked his phone in a while for a text from Jo. He fumbled the device out of his pocket and pulled up Jo's contact. Still nothing. Something was definitely wrong. Jo wasn't responding and now Sam is MIA. That wasn't coincidence.

"Damn!" Drew exclaims.

"What, what's wrong?" Curtis inquires.

"Somethings wrong, something is very wrong. I've been trying to get a hold of Jo since I got back and she hasn't contacted me. That's not right. I brought her brother back, the brother she thought was dead, she would have been waiting at the airport. Hell, she would have gone with me if she could. I knew it. I knew something was up when she didn't show up at the hospital."

"What are you thinking?"

Drew crosses his arms across his body and puts his hand over his eyes, trying to focus his thinking.

"I don't know, I'm not sure, but I'm betting Kim has something to do with it. After what you've just told me I'd bet my life on it." Suddenly Drew had another realization.

"Wait a minute. Hold on." Drew rushes over to the bench where the file of Curtis' information was. He began rifling through the papers.

"What are you looking for?" Curtis asks

"That pic…,there it is." Drew grabs the picture out from the other papers in the folder. He studies it carefully.

"What, what is it, man?"

Drew points at the picture and crooks his neck backwards, sighing loudly.

"There." He thrusts the picture toward Curtis.

"What, is that, is that a watch?"

"Yes." Drew confirms. "And a couple weeks ago, when Jo first got here, my watch went missing. Well, I didn't think it was, 'missing,' at the time, just misplaced, but now, I'm thinking Kim took it. It's not a coincidence that she had one of my watch's in her shrine of me in San Diego and now one of my watch's here is missing. Yeah, she definitely could have taken it. She came to see me at the mansion after the whole Oscar thing came out. I didn't want to deal with her so I left. She could have gone into my room afterwards and taken it." Drew's face suddenly got a look of fear on it and he frantically grabbed his phone. "Oh no," he mumbled.

"Drew, what?"

"Scout's favorite doll, it went missing too. I swear to God if that bitch did anything to my daughter!" Drew cried as he put the phone up to his ear to call Scout's nanny.

"Heather, yeah Hi. I just got back into town a little while ago. How's my baby girl? Good, good. Listen, has there been anything weird happening, anyone approaching you that you don't know? Uh-huh, okay good, good. Yeah, just do me a favor and stay at the mansion for the rest of today, don't go to the park or anything, just stay inside for me okay? Yeah, everything's okay, I think, just a precaution. Okay, thanks Heather. I'm gonna get home to my baby girl just as quick as I can."

Drew ended the call and slid the phone into his back pocket.

"Everything's all good?" Curtis asks with hesitation.

"Yeah, yeah, everything's fine thank goodness." Drew replies, tapping his thumb against his mouth. "She's got them somewhere. I just know it." Drew theorizes quietly.

"Drew, you think she'd go that far?" Curtis asks in disbelief.

"Are you kidding? Yes, I think she'd go that far. She threw Jo down a flight of stairs to try and get rid of her, I think she's more than capable of kidnapping."

"Okay, I can see her taking Jo, but why Sam?"

"She's trying to get rid of the competition, Curtis. Maybe she thinks with Jo and Sam out of the picture, I'll be with her. She truly must be nuts if she thinks that." Drew concludes with a huff.

"We've got to find them. God knows what she's done to them already." Drew snaps his fingers and shakes his finger slightly. "The storage unit. Curtis, you have to find out which unit is hers. That's where she has them, I'd almost guarantee it."

Curtis looks at Drew in agreement. He pulls his phone out of his pocket, and walks a few steps away making a call as he does.

Drew starts pacing quickly, running his hands through his hair.

"Hang on, Jo. Hang on, Sam. I'll find you before it's too late. I promise." Drew whispers to himself.

"What are you two up to?" Kim queries to herself, from behind the concrete pillar where she was spying. "I hope you don't think you are going to ruin my plans. I've waited too long to have them messed up now." She steps in to get a little closer look and within listening distance, but just then her phone dings with a message. Worried that the unexpected sound would give her away she lunges backwards and moves back behind her covert position. She turns to go back into the hospital, stopping for a moment to look back at Drew. "Don't worry my love, soon we'll finally be happy and we'll finally get to be together."
