"Incoming crybaby," the messenger toad stated, as another larger toad appeared on the floor with a POOF. The large toad spit out a blonde woman who was shivering, covered with toad saliva - or mucus - whatever it was…

"Naru-chan!" Kakashi exclaimed. The woman continued to lie there, staring at him in disbelief.

"You - you're… alive?!" Naru asked, shivering all over.

"Yes, of course, I'm alive. Are you alright?" Kakashi reached out to her trembling form and pulled her up by the hand. He didn't understand why she kept muttering the word "impossible" over and over again, but he needed to help her clean up.

She wasn't cold, so he still needed an explanation of why she was shaking and looking at him as if he were a ghost, but she could barely speak. Naru would begin to laugh before sobbing and shaking her head as she pressed her back against the back of the bathroom door.

"Hang on, koi. Everything will be okay," he tried to reassure her. Knowing that Naru had been ticked off at and, before that, very formal with him prior to disappearing with the toads had him on edge. "Maa, I'm just going to get the shower warmed up for you so we can get all that slime off, ne?" Kakashi smiled gently at the trembling woman and grabbed towels and more for her, making sure she had everything she could possibly need while also checking the water's temperature. When it was finally good and steamy, he tried to give her privacy. He'd been so alarmed, he felt it would be the worst time to be his rather wicked self. "I'll just be in the bedroom…"

"NO! Stay with me!" Naru shouted, her tears starting up again. What if he's gone again?! "Please?" she asked weakly.

Kakashi nodded his head, and this time Naru took his hand and brought him into the shower. He wasn't really sure what to do other than get her to say what had happened to upset her so much, as she stood there underneath the water, clothes still on. There were so many things he needed to come clean about so he didn't lose her. It wasn't only Gaara's proposal that made him realize this. He had on his pajama pants and wasn't comfortable in the way she stared up at him, "What happened?"

Naru began to sputter. "What… what happened?! Kami, Kakashi: you were DEAD!" Once again, she was between laughing and crying. "Oh no! Oh, Gods no: is this a what - what's it called? A genjutsu? Ma said that…"

"Naru-chan. I can assure you we are NOT in a genjutsu. I can't help if you don't tell me what's troubling you. Now please, what is going on?" Kakashi said gently. He watched as Naru tried to break a genjutsu twice, her hands in the correct position and whispering "Kai!" repeatedly. Did she remember how to do this, or did the toads show her? It wasn't really a good thing, either way, especially as she attempted to break a nonexistent genjutsu a third time and he was hit with a wave of chakra. Now he knew for certain that he might have trouble keeping a genjutsu on her appearance. If she wanted to break an illusion, Kakashi realized that she could now most likely do it.

Naru finally approached him and placed her head on his broad chest. Feeling goosebumps, she turned him around so that he could stand under the very warm water. She closed her arms around him and kept her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. She tried again to stop the tears flowing freely down her face. Gods, I love this man.

Kakashi had no idea what was going on but wrapped his arms around her. He deeply inhaled her scent: the toad oil was soothing and sweet, and the slime from the toad that had swallowed her didn't smell like much of anything, other than the oil, thank Kami. The substance was slowly coming off the blonde. He reached for his shampoo and gently began washing her slimy hair, grateful that the oils seemed to be washed away easily. As he looked down into her red-rimmed blue eyes, he couldn't help his reaction to her. Wearing only light cotton, now fully saturated and falling down pajama pants, he tried to move his excitement away from her. She just seemed too fragile right now.

But Naru wouldn't allow Kakashi to move away from her - not even an inch. He's here, he's alive… He's hard. Something shifted in her mood and perception: she knew what she wanted. No, what she needed - what she had to have in order to prove to herself that he really was here with her - so strong, so fine, so… virile. Surprising him, she jumped up and threw herself at the man, wrapping her legs around him.

His back and her knees hit the tiled floor. "OOF! Naru-chan!" Kakashi was cut off by the woman nearly mauling his face off. As she eventually sat up - right on top of him - she pulled off her soaked haori and top, leaving her only in bandages and low-riding pants. She ground her core into him and Kakashi couldn't help but wonder what kind of world he was in when this was like, his fantasy, yet he was anxious! His cheeks stung from what could be bite marks that she'd given him around his lips, and she sure as hell wasn't slowing down. What the?! He realized he was losing his erection as Naru tore his shirt off. Kami! This hasn't happened since I was 14 and Jiraiya-sama bought me a prostitute to cheer me up! And she was actually an assassin! "Naru, wait!"

"I need you inside me," Naru said in a deep growl that didn't sound like her voice at all.

Okay: that's pretty hot, Kakashi thought. She jumped up and started to unbutton her pants, but he grabbed her hands. "Baby, wait," he shook his head, in disbelief that he: the lascivious copy nin was actually trying to slow things down while the woman of his dreams growled at him. Did her eyes just flash again?! Kakashi let out a high-pitched sound - somewhere between a child in fear and a giggle - and grabbed Naru's hands, pulling her to the floor with him. Her mouth was immediately all over his neck and torso. "Naru-chan," he gasped and held her back: the little animal! When she bit his nipple, rather hard, he flipped her to the floor and growled at her to explain herself.

Naru stopped everything she was doing and her tears, yet again, began to fall. Kakashi felt bad about it but didn't want their first time to be something she later regretted, and she hadn't been making any sense since she came back from the toads. He sat on her and placed his hand on her cheek lovingly as she bit her bottom lip.

"You… you were…" Naru shook her head in grief. "Everything was gone: destroyed! I came with Bunta, Kichi, and those others. Damnit, they're going to punish me again for not remembering," she said quickly. "But, Kakashi," her face became filled with grief. "I tried to save Baa-chan from those, those red-cloud assholes, but you… You were dead! It just happened! How can you be alive when you were dead?! How can you be here, in this place, when it's not here anymore? How can you…" She was cut off by a punishing kiss.

Kakashi pulled her against him as she made the most pathetic sounds. She hung on to him like a lifeline, occasionally wiping her nose or eyes in the water running down them. Naruto had never said anything to him about knowing he had been killed during Pein's attack. What a thing to remember. In some ways, he was thrilled that her memories were coming back even more, and that she so openly wanted him. Her words were so obvious: even though he'd temporarily passed - and by the time he'd come back to life, Naruto's battle with Pein was already over... The "red clouds" obviously were the Akatsuki, while "Baa-chan" was who she'd always been to Naruto: Tsunade-sama.

"I searched for you, and you weren't there. I could feel EVERYONE, but you were gone, Kashi." Naru said in a whisper before going silent. With fear, she finally looked up into his eyes which were so full of love. She kissed him and then felt two more hands pulling her up. Shocked, she jumped and found another Kakashi, this one less-soaked behind her. Both men - or the man and the clone, she supposed - pulled her up. The one in front of her began kissing and smiling sweetly at her, while the one behind her began unwrapping the bandages around her chest. Naru shivered.

Kakashi's eyes were dark and smoldering, making Naru's knees feel weak. "Towel," he ordered his clone.

Naru realized there was a THIRD Kakashi there; she tried to hide in Kakashi's arms. She peeked around Kakashi's shoulder and saw the one behind him drying him off, without any of the grace the one focused on her displayed. The one behind her was apparently really wanting to ensure that her breasts were dry, even going so far as to repeatedly test if they were or not. She saw Kakashi scowl at him, and then the clone pulled down her pants. That clone groaned as he continued to dry her then poofed away. Naru looked up and saw that Kakashi seemed put out before his eyes widened. Her own clones probably would have started having a party, either spraying water everywhere or maybe even carrying Kashi away from her to have their way with them. That thought definitely upset her. "Your clone guys are so… compliant," she said to him in wonder.

"Don't say 'compliant.' You'll submit to us, hime," the clone behind Kakashi said with a growl in his voice. Naru's eyes went wide. He approached her like a predator and was dispelled as Kakashi told him to shut the hell up. The remaining Kakashi - the real one, she hoped, bent down and picked Naru up by her thighs, lifting her to his waist.

Oh, Kami, he's naked. Naru's heart sped up. He walked her to the bed, kissing her the entire time, and they crashed down upon it.

Kakashi pulled his lips away from hers and looked at her fiercely. "I tried, Naru. I tried to be there to save you. It doesn't matter that I… It doesn't matter now… I'm here, I'm really here," he told her, wiping the blonde wet hair from her face. He saw her eyes well up with tears again. "And I'm so fucking glad I'm here!"

His kisses were like drugs. They were so skilled but slow as she responded beneath him. Hands exploring each other, she finally couldn't take it anymore. She didn't even realize that she had been moaning his name repeatedly, but in an instant, she realized that didn't know exactly what to do! This would be her first time! Sure, those pervy books gave her ideas, but this was happening now to her and her eyes widened in fear. Suddenly Naru felt ripped apart and she cried out.

"Are - are you okay? Stay with me baby," Kakashi stuttered out, going still inside of her. His Sharingan inadvertently activated and he saw Naru relax in his arms. "No: no genjutsu. Damn it: I'm sorry koi!" Naru, however, didn't look sorry at all. The smile that crept up on her face was a little… disarming. She growled at him.

"Mmmm, oh God… What's that?" She took a deep, gasping breath. Kakashi wasn't sure if this was a pleasure or pain thing: he really hadn't meant to activate that damn eye!

He kissed her deeply, trying to calm the panic he'd seen just as he entered her. Working his way down to her breasts, he captured a pert nipple in his mouth just as he was nearly thrown off the woman.

"Oh GoDs!" Naru all but yelled, before saying his name like a mantra as her walls began to convulse. She grabbed Kakashi's ass and pulled him in further, writhing and bucking against him.

Kakashi momentarily thought that this must be what it's like to be a rodeo cowboy. Before he could even say "Yee-Haw," he began to climax. "Fuck, fuck - Oh no, not yet!" His shoulders were being clawed into, while the grip she had on his ass was… impressive. There was some serious grip strength there, and he was saying -er, thinking that as a ninja! Having cum like a racehorse, he finally said to himself, "Damnit! Fuck me to hell and back." He hid his face in her wet hair.

"Will do," Naru said breathily before giggling into his shoulder. She inhaled deeply, feeling giddy, and kissed his chest. It was hard to look at him, she felt so embarrassed. Kami, I'm such a child!

Kakashi looked down at his partner as she looked away. Oh, now she's all shy… He pushed her hair away from her face again and kissed Naru over and over again. At least she's smiling - so beautifully, too. He may be missing an ass cheek, but that was really something. "My little vixen," he growled at her. This time her eyes definitely went red as her pupils slit, but he didn't feel afraid - not with her arms around him, rubbing his back.

Naru closed her eyes and shook her head. Getting her wits about her, she just wanted to tell him. "I love you, Kakashi Hatake." She held his cheek with one hand while stroking his hair with the other, a blissful smile on her face. The look on his face was one of shock, and she felt her heart break a little for him at that moment as she saw his eyes glisten. She should have told him or even been aware of her now obvious feelings for him long before this.

"And I love you, so - so much, Naruto," Kakashi replied earnestly.

She went still, staring up at the man she loved so much.

Just how much was she willing to give? When Naru thought Kakashi was dead, she would've given absolutely anything to have him back. It was a dream maybe? It all happened at night when she was asleep, so yeah… She chastised herself for being so foolish - although everything about it was so real. Frowning, she felt Kakashi roll them together to their sides, rubbing his head against hers, almost as if he was trying to make them one. "Kakashi,"

"Yo!" Pakkun jumped on Kakashi's back - apparently, he had been under the bed. The pug jumped over Kakashi and wormed his way between their heads to their chests, making little snorting sounds as he did so.

Naru absently rubbed the top of his tiny nose folds with her finger while Kakashi scratched the back of his ears and told him to get lost. "Kakashi… We need to talk," Naru said gently: gently, but firmly. She wiggled her hips backward and up, separating them. Kakashi groaned at being pulled away and gave her a pouty face. She sighed and bit her lip in frustration.

Ignoring his intruding summons, Kakashi nodded up at his soon-to-be-wife. Oh, it's definitely going to happen now.

"You called her 'Naruto,' Boss." Kakashi saw Naru close her eyes, looking pained, and grabbed her around the waist, pulling her close, just in case she tried to get away. He nudged Pakkun away easily: the ninken retreated to behind Naru's knees, attempting to pin her in. At the corner of his mind, Kakashi reminded himself to give his little wingman a beefy treat, and soon.

"I need to make some things clear to you," Kakashi began.

"No, I need to make some things clear to YOU!" Naru shook her head and sat up, pulling the sheets around her chest. She scowled as Pakkun climbed on top of her, looking up at her innocently - something that the ninken was definitely NOT. Out of seemingly nowhere, Bull jumped up on her lap and legs, scrunching Pakkun against her flat stomach. He made a miserable sound and Naru rolled her eyes: Bull may be the biggest dog but he was also the biggest baby! "Look, Kakashi. I'd just realized I was in love with you when I... found out that you're gay - or maybe you're bi or whatever," she said softly. Naru's eyes were closed in concentration as she tried to figure out what to say as she continued, so she didn't see Kakashi's eyes widen in shock at her words. She held up her hands in a placating fashion but then glared at her partner. "I - I love you anyway, no matter what - but I'm not so sure I can share." She quickened her pace to talk over the sputtering man. "SO much, Kakashi, SO much, but," she groaned loudly, "...and I don't care about stuff like that, but for me?! And for you, especially?! I can only imagine how hard it is for you with two 'Narutos,' with one being on your team or whatever that you're in love with. And he sounds so fucking amazing that..." Kakashi put his finger on Naru's lips, making her snarl at him.

"Silly woman, there is only one Naru or Naruto - and that's you!"

Naruto gave the man an expression that was a mixed pout and evil glare. "Don't you bullshit me, Hatake! Sakura said that…" Kakashi cut her off again by kissing her soundly, rolling his weight onto her. Somehow the ninken had either anticipated his move or she'd forgotten about the stinkers.

"Stop being dumb," Kakashi's words were mean, but he smiled at her - that damn handsome fangy grin of his, Naru thought. "There's only you. Don't you get it? I am madly, passionately in love with you, hime!" Hearing Naru's breath hitch, he snuggled into her hair. "It's always been you: just you. I should have told you so long ago," he said softly before letting out a singular chuckle. "You, Naru-chan, are the only one for me." He looked at her in all seriousness, feeling a little aggravated that she still didn't seem to quite believe him. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he continued after a moment of thought. "I do not share, hime: understand that right now," he said darkly. Naru's eyes went wide. Good. "I will not allow you to share either, got it? You're too good for that!" He saw Naru blush to her ears, looking shocked. "So damnit woman! Marry me!"

"Is this really happening?" Naruto wondered. Right here, in his bed? Was it because of the sex? The dogs? The shower? The… toads?!

Kakashi watched Naru's breathing pick up: she was undoubtedly freaking herself out. Silly girl. This was definitely not how he planned to ask her, or when he planned to ask her at all. Now that the question was out there, though, he'd be damned if she'd say no. He bounced her on the bed, ignoring her little cry of, "Hey!"

"Say yes right now: I'm not taking no for an answer!" Kakashi demanded.

Naru's mouth fell open in disbelief before she started to laugh. "You're serious?" Naru asked with incredulity. Kakashi nodded up at her. She brought her hands to her lips, considering everything he said, trying to make the tears go away. "The, umm, sharing thing, I mean…"

"You and me, Naru: just you and me. No one else. 'Til death we part," Kakashi said firmly. "Oh, and you're not allowed to be with anyone else after I die."

Naru scoffed angrily. "Don't say things like that! I just went through a whole… horrifying situation, or NIGHTMARE with you damn it! You're not allowed to die on me!"

"So that's a yes? I'm an old-man, Naru-chan, but you… You, my love, make me want to live. Maybe for the first time in my life," Kakashi said seriously. He grabbed the back of her hair in his hands and pulled it back, forcing her face to tilt up at him. "Say yes, Naru. Say yes." Finally, she nodded her head.

At that moment, Naru felt that the smile on his face directed at her was worth all of his bullshit, perversity, and more.

Their second attempt at lovemaking lasted much longer than the first and was much more satiating for both of them. The third time in the shower was pretty fantastic, too. It was far beyond just "unfortunate" that the fourth time was interrupted by an unwanted presence.
