A month had passed and Lily was back to being the healthy little girl she was before everything happened. Of course Erin and Jay still worried, Erin more so then Jay but they were told that they didn't have to worry. Lily was going to be fine.

It took Erin a little longer to believe it, believe that Lily was fine. The first few weeks she continually kept checking Lily's temperature multiple times a day, how she was eating, how many times she was going to the toilet, all the things Jay kept saying she didn't have to do anymore but no matter what Erin couldn't stop it and what could Jay do? Tell her not to worry? Care a little less? That definitely was going to happen.

Thankfully it took a couple more weeks for Erin to became a little less obsessive. Thanks to Will who assured her she was okay now. Everything was back to normal.

All things with Bunny were going well, she had recovered and to everyone's surprise she wasn't completely overwhelming them with her presence which Jay feared. He was thankful, so thankful that she had saved his little girl but he still kept thinking something bad would happen and he couldn't shake it. They now had an organised fortnightly dinner with Bunny so she could get to know her granddaughter better, they just hoped she would kept it up. Even though she had caused Erin so much hurt in the past she at-least wanted to give her the chance to change that and so far she was doing alright.

Erin and Jay had picked a few house listings to go and have a look at, with what they had saved up and Hanks generous wedding gift they could get something that would set them up for the rest of their lives, although they both agreed living in the suburbs would definitely be different.

Onto the fourth house of the day the pair were exhausted and Jay was getting sick of the little things Erin kept picking at. She was like this when they first started getting serious when he was planning to buy a condo, he thought maybe she had changed, but nope still picky.

"So the first house you didn't like because the backyard was small and mostly concreted, that's fair. The second house you didn't like because the bedrooms were too small, again fair but they weren't that small. The third house you didn't like because...why didn't you like it again?" Jay asked his wife confused.

She turned to face him and rolled her eyes, "Was too run down and outdated."

"Right." Jay nodded, trying to understand.

"Don't give me that tone Jay, you and I both know if we buy something that needs work it will never get done. And also we have the money to buy something nice and new so why wouldn't we? I want to raise our children in a nice place, I never got that." Erin explained.

"Okay I'm sorry, I will be a bit more understanding."

"We're here." Erin said pulling up outside of a really big brick house.

"Well from my point of view it already looks really nice, also in a good neighbourhood, a little more then I expected to spend..."

Erin cut him off, "Well that's not exactly true. And we will have money leftover still Jay, stop stressing."

"Says the one that thought we didn't have enough money to start with." Jay chuckled.

"We going to go have a look or do you want to continue with whatever it is your doing?"

"Let's go then." Jay said opening his door.

The realtor approached them as they got out of the car, "This is the last one we have time for today. I know its just scraping past your budget but you will understand why when you go inside, a lot of work has been done to it."

"Let's go to then." Jay smiled as he grabbed his wife's hand.

The realtor unlocked the double front door to reveal the most beautiful house. Erin knew straight away that this was their new home.

"Wow." They both said in sync.

"Yeah it is lovely. So it's five bed, three bath. Main open plan living area, formal dining area, study. Big laundry with walk in linen, games room downstairs, extra lounge room upstairs for the kids, balcony off the main bedroom for a little privacy. His and her walk-ins, deck that goes off the main open plan area and a decent size backyard with a little garden shed out the back. Feel free to have a look around and of course feel free to ask any questions." She said as she smiled and walked off leaving the two alone.

"So what do you think?" Jay asked Erin who was in absolute awe.

"This is it Jay. I don't even need to look around. Look at this beautiful kitchen and the view out to the backyard."

Jay pulled her in to his side, "It is pretty great isn't it."

"Beyond great."

"Come on let's finish our tour." Jay said motioning to go upstairs and look around.

After about fifteen minutes or exploring and admiring the house they went back to find the realtor.

"So what do you guys think?"

"Where do we sign?" Jay smiled.

"I will get all the paperwork ready for you. I knew you guys would like this place."

"It's not me you have to worry about it's this one." Jay chuckled nodding towards Erin.

"Hey!" She playfully punched him, "I just want it to be perfect for out family."

The realtor smiled, "You's will make this the perfect home. Congratulations."

Jay and Erin walked happily into their apartment, Will was babysitting Lily.

"Hey Will, we are home." Jay yelled as they shut the door behind them.

The heard footsteps quickly approaching them, "Lilian Halstead!" Will shouted quickly chasing after her with a nappy.

"Well hello there you little rudie nudie," Jay said kneeling down to embrace his daughter, "What do you think your doing."

"She runs quite quickly for someone that has little legs." Will said standing in front of them.

"What happened, it's pretty early for bath time." Erin said taking Lily from Jay and grabbing the nappy off Will as she made her way to the nursery.

"Well we done some painting and let's just say things got a little messy. So I thought I'd bath her but then she didn't want to get dressed again." Will shrugged.

"Yeah she has a thing about that lately." Jay laughed.

"So how did the house searching go? I know how picky Erin can be."

"Hey! I can hear you." Erin shouted from the nursery as Jay and Will laughed.

"We bought one." Jay smiled.

"Really! That's great Jay, you have photos?"

Jay nodded and passed Will the brochure, his brother flicked through it and smiled, "Wow it's great."

"It's amazing. We loved it."

"Big. How many kids you plan on having?" Will questioned.

"As many as my wife allows."

Erin appeared into the living room, "Let's just say he won't be getting the full soccer team that he keeps wishing for."

Will shook his head, "Soccer? Your going to be the dad that coaches the soccer team and is more competitive then the children aren't you?"

Erin laughed and looked at Jay who rolled his eyes, "I'm not going to be like that."

"Mmhm, sure bro." Will nodded.

"Anyway, Will you staying for dinner?" Erin asked.

"Nah I have to get home but Thankyou."

"No thanks Will, we appreciate you looking after Lil." Erin thanked him.

"Of course, love spending time with my favourite niece." He said squeezing Lily's cheeks.

"She's your only niece Will." Jay said, once again reminding his brother their was no other nieces or nephews in his life.

"For now."

Will nodded, "Okay I gotta get going. Call you later, have to catch up for a barbecue or something with everyone."

"Sounds like a plan, we move into the house in a month so we will have a big housewarming then." Jay said.

"Sounds like a plan. See you Erin, bye Lil!" Will said waving at his niece.

"Bye unc Will." Lily said waving as he exited the apartment.

Two weeks had gone by, Erin had already packed up half the apartment, she was beyond excited but Jay could tell something else was on her mind.

Erin decided to take the week of the move off. Jay told her they'd work around all of it but she said she wanted to be able to get it done as quick as possible and she thought that would be easier if she took a week off.

Erin was in the break room getting coffee when Jay walked in, he stretched his arm out with his cup, she happily filled it, "I'm exhausted."

"You weren't the one up and down all last night." Erin said annoyed.

"You should have woken me Erin. I could have helped with Lily."

Erin shook her head, "It wasn't Lily who kept me up."

Jay frowned, "What was it then? I didn't want to push but I can tell somethings on your mind."

"It's nothing, seriously."

Jay watched as his wife walked out the door, she placed her cup on her desk then continued to the locker room. He knew he shouldn't of followed but he had to get down to the bottom of it.

He opened the door and could hear sniffling, he walked to the back of the room to find Erin sitting on the bench seat bent over, he quickened his pace and knelt down in front of her, "Babe talk to me. What is going on."

"Why can't I give you a baby?"

"What?"

"Jay we decided five months ago that we wanted another baby. I know we stopped full on trying but still it's not like we've tried to stop it from happening." She shrugged.

"Hey. I know. I know," Jay pulled her close to his chest, "It will happen eventually babe, a lot has happened in the last couple months so the stress probably doesn't help with the whole situation."

"I'm sorry, I'm usually fine about all of this. It's just Kim reached six months today, I guess it's just overwhelming and upsetting when I want that. I'm not saying I'm not happy for her because I am. I really am."

"I know babe. I know."

"I'm sorry."

"As soon as we are in the new house we won't stop trying until there is a baby in there, okay?" Jay said resting his hand on Erin's stomach.

She nodded as he wiped the tears from her face, "Your great you know that?"

"Oh yeah, I know."

"Come on, we better get back to work."

"Oh yeah work." Jay chuckled as they got up, and continued with their day.

The next two weeks flew by and the day for their move had arrived. Everyone from work was chipping in while they moved things from the apartment to the new house. Luckily because the apartment was quite small they didn't have a lot of things so it wasn't taking very long but back at the new house all the new furniture was getting delivered as-well so Erin was trying to assemble then why the boys done all the heavy lifting.

"God dammit!" Erin shouted as she jammed her finger in one of the cupboard doors she was building.

Kim laughed and asked if she was alright, then Lily shouted, "God dammit!"

Erin looked towards her daughter and tried not to laugh, Kim was doing the same, "Lilian, we don't use that word okay? Naughty."

"Naughty?"

"Yes correct, naughty."

"Sowwy mummy." Lilian apologised.

"It's okay Lil bear, just don't tell daddy okay?"

Lily ignored her and got back to watching her iPad while she sat on Kim's lap, "Toddlers huh? Repeat absolutely everything they hear."

"Oh yeah, something you can look forward too." Erin chuckled.

Later that night after everything was moved in, not exactly set up but it was all there, Jay and Erin were playing with Lily on the living room floor.

"This house is something else isn't it?" Jay said as he hugged his wife.

"It's so perfect, needs lots of new furniture though because it feels so empty."

Jay smiled, "We will fill it in no time don't worry."

"God dammit." Lily said as she dropped one of her toys on the ground.

"Lilian Halstead," Jay said sternly as he pulled his daughter towards him, "Don't say things like that please, it's naughty."

"Tats wha mummy said." Lily pointed at Erin, Jay gave her a 'Oh really look.'

Erin shrugged, "Time for bed sweetheart."

"Daddy read?"

"Yeah daddy can read you a book, come on Lil bear." Jay said as he lifted his daughter up and walked to her new bedroom, it was the one bedroom that was pretty much finished, Erin wanted to make sure it would be done straight away.

Jay placed his daughter in the cot and sat on the rocking chair next to it, Erin sat on his lap and snuggled into his side, "I love you."

"I love you too babe."

"Wuv you."

Jay chuckled, "We love you too miss."
