Seed

Sesshoumaru lounged behind his desk, one clawed hand tapping thoughtfully on the arms of the chair. Before him was a thick file of information regarding the Sunset Shrine. He knew now that it had been passed down from generation to generation and been in the hands of the Higurashi clan since its inception. For a moment, he was tempted to revise his plans to steal the shrine out from under her as he remembered his only familial grounds and how hard he and his family had fought to retain them.

Vengeance won out though and he pushed his sentimental thoughts to the back of his mind. Glancing at the young man on the other side of his desk, he said "Your information is accurate?"

Dark brown eyes disappeared as the young man bowed. "Yes, Sesshoumaru-sama. I planted it, just as father suggested. There is a strong barrier as well, so none may remove it until its job is done."

"Hnn." He looked at the pictures, at the single page of information about the seed planted at the shrine. "Leave," he said absently, not even looking at the young man again.

When he was alone he slapped the file closed and ignored the beast in the back of his mind saying he was going about this in all the wrong ways.
