A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.

Alalcomeneus

Oh boy. I'm not to anxious talking about Hera or Zeus. I know I'll eventually have to up to now, but it's still not easy. Zeus doesn't like me, and to be honest, despite seeing two of his kids as my surrogate siblings, the feeling is mutual toward him.

Hera, she took eight months of my life away from my friends, girlfriend, and family here at Camp Half-Blood, then took my memories minus Annabeth and planted me at the Wolf House. Yeah there was a time I enjoyed my time at Camp Jupiter, but that doesn't make up for what Hera and her Roman form Juno put not just me but everyone I cared about through for her grand scheme. And I can tell you Annabeth would agree with me because she has her own turmoil with Hera even before she kidnapped me.

But this isn't about Hera or Zeus directly, this is about a guy that tried to do the right thing in their honor.

Alalcomeneus was the founder of Alalcomenae in Boeotia. He also founded the Hieros Gamos, the religious ceremony symbolizing the marriage between Zeus and Hera.

However, when Zeus' infidelities and how Athena came to be, Hera complained to Alalcomeneus making him responsible of bringing them up, he advised her to have a statue of herself made of oak and to have it wheeled through the streets attended by a retinue, as was done for a marriage. The ritual was supposed to revive the renew the divine marriage.

I'm sure it was harsher than it sounds, because that's what Hera is like, but I'm guessing Hera pulled her strings to make her sound more agreeable.

Next, I cover two men who shared the same name. One who avenge a king's death by lion to win the king's daughter's hand. Then a man who was murdered for being suitor of the wrong person.
