PREVIOUSLY-

"None of us care to see any of the Cullens again, but if that's what it takes to keep our tribe, and our pack safe, then we'll allow their help, only just this once." Sam told all of them, then motioned for them to scatter as Jake and Embry shook their heads and walked out the door. "Seth, stay in range. I need to talk to J and Paul, then I'm going to talk to you."

Seth nodded and left as well, staying nearby.

"What's on your mind, Sam?" Jared asked him as he sat on the edge of the couch.

"Bella suggested Seth stay with her when it's time." Sam told them.

"He protected me during the newborn battle in the other timeline, and he was the one to kill Riley by himself." I added.

"As much as I want it to be one of us that stays with Bella, we're the best of the pack. We can't sideline the alpha, beta, or the best fighter." Paul told them honestly, surprisingly without any cockiness. He was right, too.

"I agree. Seth is too young to be out there anyway. We can't let the kid get hurt. If Bella trusts him, then I'm in." Jared told them both as well.

"All in agreement for Seth staying with Bella when the time comes?" Sam asked and both of them nodded. He turned to Paul. "Go grab him."

Paul ran outside and came back in a minute later with Seth trailing behind.

"I'm not in trouble, am I?" Seth asked innocently, looking like he'd been taken to the principal's office.

"No honey, you're not in any trouble." I reassured him.

"Kinda the opposite, pup." Paul told him, standing up straight with his arms crossed.

"Seth, when it's time for the fight with the newborns, we want you here with Bella to keep her safe." Sam told him directly and I watched as his eyes opened wide.

"We're trusting you with the most important people in our lives, bro." Jared told him pointedly. "Bella trusts you too."

"You really want it to be me who is guarding Bella?" Seth asked with hesitation, but excitement.

"Yes, Seth. Will you do it?" Sam asked him.

"Of course! I can do that! I promise I won't let you down, any of you." Seth replied happily before turning to me. "I promise I'll keep you and the babies safe, Bella."

"I know you will, Seth." I told him with a smile.

"Alright, pup, go home and work on your homework." Paul told Seth and we watched as he ran out the door. Then both of their eyes turned to me.

"So how long have you been having these 'practice contractions'?" Jared asked me curiously and I rolled my eyes.

"Seriously guys, it's completely normal. You can look it up or ask Sue. They just feel like cramps. Trust me, when it's the real thing, I'll know." I told them honestly, almost annoyed.

"You know we're just worried about you, princess. You've had way too much stress during this pregnancy already and with it being twins…. Listen, things are getting more stressful again. We all love you and we just want the three of you safe." Paul told me and I felt myself tearing up.

"I love all of you too." I cried as I sat forward as far as I could and put my hands to my face. "I've been trying to be so strong for the pack and I just keep breaking down. I'm sure all of you are annoyed with me just crying all the time."

Sam kneeled down in front of me and brought my hands away from my face.

"Bella, none of us are annoyed with you. Honey, you're pregnant. It comes with the territory. Right now we're in a high stress environment and that makes it worse. If there was any way that we could take the stress away, or even send you down to stay with your mom until the babies are born where it would be safe, we would." Sam told me, but the only thing I heard was the end.

"You want to send me away?" I whispered, halfway panicked.

"No! Bella, we wouldn't ever want to send you away. What Sam meant was that you would be safer away from here, but all of us know that we couldn't ever do that. None of us want to miss a single thing, even the crying." Jared said to me as he knelt by the side of the chair and brushed the hair out of my face.

"Why don't we give B something else to focus on while all this stressful shit is going on?" Paul suggested, and piqued my curiosity.

"What are you thinking?" Sam asked him.

"We still haven't got the babies' room set up or picked out names. We can get the furniture done and B can order whatever else we need online or get some things from the shops around the res. Sue is making blankets for both of the babies. It keeps her mind off of things and it's something we need to get done anyways." Paul said.

I really liked that idea. I had been thinking about getting the nursery done and picking out names for a while and he was right, it would take my mind off of things for a little bit and it would definitely help my nesting instinct I currently had.

"It would be nice to have names for our son and daughter." Sam replied.

"At least we already know their last name will be Uley, so that's a start." Jared responded with a smirk.

"You know, I was thinking about that." All of their eyes focused on me with confused expressions. "These two will definitely be Uley's. Sam is their father. Maybe I'm thinking a bit too far ahead, considering I haven't even had these two yet, but I think I'd like to have a child with each of you, and let them carry on your last names and bloodlines as well."

Both Jared and Paul turned to me with unreadable expressions. Sam and I had talked about it awhile back and he was completely okay with it.

"You'd really do that for us?" Paul asked, unbelieving.

"Yeah, I would. Jare and I have briefly talked about it before, and Sam and I talked about too. I think four of us can handle four kids, don't you?" I told Paul with a smile. He pulled me up out of the chair and hugged me to his chest.

"I love you so much, Bella." He whispered in my ear.

"I love you too, Paul."
