With Nau'ur's arrival Vestara was finally able to receive proper treatment, she wasted no time setting her up with an I.v. for blood, saline nutrients and a morphine drip to help speed her recovery. While Tallisibeth was happy at this turnout she couldn't help but find the display of Vestara with numerous tubes stabbing into her quite macabre. Whilst Nau'ur worked on treating and examining her Tallisibeth watched carefully, still intent on monitoring the young woman's recovery, all the while she herself was watched by her son.
After a short while Tallisibeth leaned closer to her son to speak silently to him. "You could have told me it was your sister that was coming. It would have helped to know it was someone I trusted."
"Well I thought about it, but given how keen you were about me getting total strangers involved I could help but feel there would be some apprehension in involving family. Especially given how discreet she had to be getting everything she needed. Also I didn't want to get slapped again."
"Heh, I suppose that's fair. Still should have told me."
Shortly afterwards Nau'ur noticed her mother watching and paused from what she was doing to address her.
"I've been made to understand that this young girls well being is of importance to you, but I cannot have you hovering over me like a Vornskr waiting to pounce."
"I do apologize if I am making you uncomfortable, but this is something I need to see through if you don't mind."
"I DO mind. I know what you look like when you're exhausted or overworked. And quite frankly you don't look well."
"A fact that I apologize for. But-"
"BUT, my darling stupid brother brought a gored young woman in your home dragging blood everywhere after you've spent years trying to get the image of dead children out of your head. I KNOW. Okay, I know. I understand all the reason's it's so important for you that she live. And I understand why you need to see it. But you help no one driving yourself into an early grave trying to help someone else."
"I under-"
"NOPE! Nononono. She has blood, nutrients and pain medication all steadily flowing into her. I have given her broad spectrum antibiotics, I've changed her stitching, applied topical medicine to the infected areas, and given the more serious injuries bacta injections. There is quite literally nothing more to do than wait and see. Which is MY job now. I as her doctor, will monitor her vitals, her heart-rate, her pulse, everything. YOU get some rest!"
"Sometimes I regret raising you to be so stubborn."
"I'm also stubborn enough to have ready a syringe of tranquilizer strong enough to drop a mythosaur for the event that you keep arguing!"
Tallisibeth opened her mouth to try and continue arguing but Nau'ur anticipating this produced a large syringe full of a clear liquid with a rather intimidatingly large gauge needle. Admitting defeat Tallisibeth shook her head and left the room chuckling.
Varin gave a great beaming smile towards his sister. "Thank you, I've been trying to get her to-"
"You wanna thank me, then use your kriffing head every once and a while."
"I'm...I'm sorry?"
"Did you ever stop and wonder why this bork's with her head so much?"
"You just said-"
"I said you brought home a gored young woman, and she has been trying to get those kind of images out of her head. Both of which are true. But did you consider the circumstances?"
"I'm not fully sure I catch your meaning."
"I mean, you thundering dumbass, is YOU were there too. YOU! What do you think would have happened if the one who got drug through the door with their guts hanging out had been YOU?!"
"I'm well aware of her concern towards me, we were just speaking of that and-"
Nau'ur threw her hands up to cut him off once again. " ' . I don't care how you justify this. Maybe you thought everything was going great, nothing wrong was happening. And I'm sure you had a reason for being haphazard. Maybe you and those you work with are fine throwing caution to the wind. But we, your family aren't. How do you think mom would feel if you died?" Nau'ur was now punching Veran's arm between sentences. "Especially given how bad she's been since dad died! How do you think she would feel? How do you think I would feel? Or Kote?! Or Ka'rta?!"
"ENOUGH! I have had this conversation several times with Mother, in fact that's what we were doing when you got here. I realize the haste in which I have been acting has been dangerous. But you both spend so much time criticizing me on how my actions affect our family, you fail to mention the affect all of this has had on other families! We are well beyond the luxury of time, this isn't an excuse THIS IS REALITY! For years houses, clans, and families have been torn apart, and for all our promises to fix it we have accomplished nothing, ABSOLUTELY KRIFFING NOTHING! And now that we have a way to fix it, other parties have started working against us. I would love to stop and plan and think about every little thing I'm going to do every Fraking day, but that window has closed, things are falling apart down here, and something needs to be done before we cross the point where nothing can be done at all even with a cure! You want me to admit i have been reckless? FINE, I admit it. You want me to say I've been stupid? Fine you get that too. But before you or anyone else start criticizing me, then for the love of all that is holy, sacred , and cherished give me a kriffing alternative! Otherwise Shut the hell up and help!"
Veran stormed out of the room before Nau'ur could respond, not that she knew what to say anyway. He wasn't wrong, for all their worrying, they didn't have an acceptable alternative. Maybe yelling just made them feel better, taking perhaps comfort in the fact that they could still yell at him.

As for Vestara herself, amidst her sleep she found herself adrift in the most peculiar dream, seeing images of worlds she knew and worlds she had never visited, yet somehow was so certain they were real. She saw people living their own domestic and if not mundane lives yet felt as though their actions were to some degree relevant. She saw events that seemed to span decades, with faces that grew increasingly familiar to her.
She felt as though this dream, these images were a vision of sort, after all this wouldn't be the first time someone glimpsed events of another time through the force, what puzzled her however was why she was having it at all, though she felt, nay knew, there had to be some relevance she could not gleam it.
Through out its course she saw multiple concurrent events from what she counted to be at least four different individuals, though never seeing more than two at once. Though still she found the whole experience overly stimulating.
When the dream first began, illuminating a darkness that shrouded her mind, she felt warmth, heat as the surrounding air seemed to become dry. After a brief spell of flash blindness as light overtook the surrounding she could see she now stood in on a desertous planet, though she wasn't sure how she knew the desert spanned the whole planet. Pale sand covered everything, refracting light from what she would later discover to be twin suns in the sky, before her stood a town built of stone matching the surrounding sand, on the edges there were buildings built into the side of a nearby mountain. The particular area she found herself in seemed to be a bazaar, within which she saw numerous people of various races selling a multitude of different wares, all in all it looked very disorganized to her. She found herself walking through the bazaar though she had no control of where she went, and with all the various people and the deafening noises she wasn't sure what she was supposed to be seeing.
In another part of her mind Vestara found herself on a different world, one lush, vibrant and green. Forests and large bodies of water blanketed the planet. The city she found herself standing in had tall structures composed of an almost bronze colored stone resembling clay, each with large teal domed shaped roofs. The atmosphere felt different than the desert planet, there everyone seemed to be in a hurry, a million things seemed to happen at once, but on this world everyone seemed calm and composed everyone had somewhere to be but they didn't seem to be in so much of a rush or making a panic out of it, a stark contrast.
In both worlds she found herself walking through a city her body guiding itself. she assumed there was something or someone she needed to see, and for some reason it was important to see it all at once.
On the desert planet she stopped inside a small shop filled wall to wall of various parts of machinery, behind the shop seemed to be a junkyard filled with even larger machinery. The store seemed to be attended to by two humans, a grown woman with brown hair and a small boy with dirty blonde hair. The two received orders from a curious flying creature Vestara wasn't familiar with, it was a mostly blue, with a bulbous body, a bald head, very thin limbs and remained aloft in the air by rapidly flapping wings. She examined their demeanor and divined several things from them, first being the woman and child were clearly family, and they were quite possibly slaves, with the strange creature being their owner. As they tended to the shop and its wares the creature sat there barking orders at them in a gruff voice, that very shortly annoyed Vestara. Although she soon realized that as hard as she tried she couldn't actually understand what they were saying.
Back on the vibrant planet she walked into a large structure, which given it's placement in the city, and it's overall design, she assumed was important. Within a young brunette girl attended to by several male adult figure, whom given the very prim and proper way they dressed she assumed they were aristocratic or politicians. Or both. Before them stood a small crowd of girls the same age as the other, and strangely enough very similar features, but somehow she knew none of them were related, one by one they were asked to stand near the girl in front of them, those who seemed to resemble her the most stayed, those who didn't left the room. Eventually leaving four young women who resembled the other, whom given the respectful manner in which she was addressed, and that some even bowed to her, signified she was someone of great importance.
The vision took her through what felt like years of these two individuals lives, the brunette haired girl and the blonde haired boy. The boy lived a mundane life of servitude, and podracing strangely enough. While the girl who now seemed to be royalty, faced political challenges. She also took note that the young girl wore very extravagant outfits, that quite frankly Vestara found far, FAR too gaudy if not tacky, and full facial makeup. And that every so often one of the maidens who attended her would switch places with her, wearing strange outfits, while she dressed as a servant. She soon realized the purpose of their strange attire was to obscure and physical discrepancies between them, allowing the other maidens to act as body doubles. It raised the question of just how dangerous her life was that such steps were necessary.
Vestara saw the woman forced to leave her planet by conflict accompanied by two men she could clearly tell were Jedi, as well as an all too familiar astromech droid. The woman's journey took her to the same desert planet Vestara was already seeing, causing the vision to converge on itself. The girls ship was damaged and needed replacement parts, so she (disguised as a servant) and the older of the two Jedi, set out to retrieve them during which time she and the boy met and seemed to become close. Eventually they left the world, and through events she did not understand the boy left with them. The boy and the girl became entrapped in several of the same conflicts, before finally parting ways, the girl returning to politics, and the boy becoming a Jedi padawan under the tutelage of the younger Jedi who accompanied the young woman.
What seemed like a decades worth of events passed before her eye, intergalactic conflict and Jedi training. Various events that surrounded these two for years straight, though Vestara still failed to see the point. She did however note that as they got older the two seemed eerily familiar.
Eventually after the decade passed the two crossed paths again, this time the boy, now grown into a man, protected the woman, now a member of the Senate. While Vestara still could not hear what anyone spoke of and was left without any true context she could understand what she saw before her. Conflict grew, and despite all parties best attempts war seemed on the horizon. And despite several of their own tragic losses the boy continued to protect the girl. A fondness she had seen in them towards each other during their youth grew into open affection in their adulthood, though Vestara knew romance was forbidden in the original Jedi Order, so she understood when she saw them acting secretively about their relationship.
War broke out between an army of droids and an army of identical soldiers, leading Vestara to guess she was witnessing the 'Clone Wars' she had heard of, giving her a time-frame of when this vision is taking place. At the dawn of the war the couple married in secret, accompanied by R2-D2, which lead Vestara to humorously ponder what all Master Skywalkers droid had witnessed. For the next three years the two hid their marriage with a degree of difficulty. The Jedi all served as commanding officers in the war, the blonde haired boy being no exception, whilst the entire senate seemed to be trying to hold the galaxy together in the midst of worsening instability, the girl being no exception either.
During years of war the boy saw good people die, something that seemed to harden him, while the senator endured several assassination attempts, a few resulting in her body doubles dying, something Vestara could see never stopped haunting her.
During the war the boy grew more and more violent, at one point she saw him execute a Sith she recalled Ship identifying as Darth Tyrannus, after he had cut off his own hands. Vestara could recognize an all too familiar darkness growing in him, Something that didn't seem to go completely unnoticed by his master, whom he seemed to enjoy a sibling like relationship. Battles came and went as Vestara saw the entirety of the war, at least what these two individuals had witnessed of it, play out before her.
The longer the dream stretched on the more Vestara asked the constant question 'why'? Why was the force showing her this? What was the point? There had to be one, she thought. But she saw so much but couldn't hear anything, and couldn't guess what was she supposed to remember.
The tone of the vision shifted when as Vestara saw the young woman's belly growing, and she knew this wasn't just her putting on weight. She was pregnant, though her husband seemed happy, she could also see fear in him, fear of losing that which he now had.
This fear drove him into the company of an elderly member of the Senate, a man Vestara could feel great darkness in, rivaled only by what she felt in Abeloth. She knew not what they spoke of, but could tell the elderly mans words had an effect on the boy, later the boy came to the politicians office, the corpses of several Jedi were strewn about the room, while the elderly man fought the sole remaining Jedi in the room, a tall, bald, dark skinned man wielding a violet blade. All the while the elderly mans own visage had changed, leading Vestara to recognize him as Darth Sidious. Despite clearly knowing who the man was the boy saved Palpatine, before kneeling before him. To this end Vestara could only guess this boy was the Vader that Ship spoke of.
Following his acceptance as Palpatines new apprentice Vader made his way to the Jedi Temple with a contingent of Clone Troopers, there they slaughtered all they came across, be they men women or children. His wife was ignorant of what had occurred, but could still see the flames consuming the Jedi Temple, and watched in horror. "So this was how Order 66 began?" She silently thought to herself.
While the carnage ensued the Senator watched as Palpatine earned sympathy and cheers from others, no doubt portraying himself as a hapless victim, she could tell he had the whole Senate hanging on his every word.
At his masters command Vader slaughtered many people on many planets before being confronted by his wife, who seemed to beg and plead for him to stop, only for him to strangle her through the force, Vestara now didn't like how this vision was unfolding, and wished to look away, but couldn't. After all, this was all in her head.
She saw Vader's former Jedi master appeared to stop him from murdering his wife, before the two engaged in a particularly violent battle, a battle that went on endlessly with neither surpassing the other. Eventually the Jedi gained an advantage and in a moment the battle came to an end, Vader on the ground devoid of all but one limb next to a literal river of lava that burned his body, as his master wept at what he had become, taking his lightsaber and leaving him to a grisly fate.
The Senator, Vader's wife was rushed to a medical center in a literal asteroid field, despite her not having suffered too great an injury from her husbands anger Vestara could tell she was dying, she knew the signs of a person losing strength and fading away. Vader's Jedi master, a small green Jedi with pointy ears and a tall dark haired politician, a senator perhaps, she had seen over the years working with Vaders wife, so much she felt it safe to assume them friends, all watched as she gave birth.
While the Senator gave birth, Vestara saw Vader rescued from the side of the river of lava by Sidious and his men, placed into a medical capsule and rushed to a nearby planet for treatment, Vestara watched in both horror and disgust as he was, quite brutally, outfitted with a full set of new prosthetic limbs, and encased in a black suit to shield his now burnt and misshapen skin, with a breathing apparatus and various other medical and life-support tools installed, as well as a ventilator positioned directly in front of his face, and protected by an almost iconic round helmet Vestara had seen in the images Ship showed her.
What nauseated her the most was Vader was conscious the entire time and didn't seem to be sedated at all, ultimately having seen what his transformation entailed Vestara concluded simply letting him die would have been more humane.
Back at the Senator, Vestara witnessed the her successfully give birth to twins, though Vestara could not make out the gender, before passing away. The two Jedi and the politician deliberated, likely over what to do with the children, before after a long tense conversation, parting ways. The green jedi leaving for parts unknown, Vaders teacher leaving with one child, and the politician leaving with the other.
Vestara now found her vision focusing on these twins, instead of Vader and his wife, the first born returned to the desert planet Vader came from and placed in the care of his extended family, whom Vestara had seen him previously socialize with.
The younger twin was taken to a world Vestara did not recognize. Vibrant and green, with tall regal structures, not unlike the child's mother came from.
She now watched the twins lives unfold before, the older who she now identified as a blonde haired boy, like his father, lived and worked in a moisture farm, with his foster family displaying an almost overprotective nature towards him.
The second twin, a brunette haired girl, like her mother, lived a life of luxury eventually getting into politics herself.
The similarities between the children's lives and their parents made Vestara chuckle. As the years drew on and the children grew, Vestara began to recognize the quite clearly and knew who they were now. Though not as old, wrinkled, or stern as they were now, she could clearly recognize the children as Luke Skywalker, and his sister Leia Organa Solo in their youth. She now understood what she was seeing, she was witnessing their family history, but still could not grasp why.

Before the vision drew on too long into the twins lives, she found everything going blank, before another bright light enveloped her vision. Slowly an image was coming onto view, a bedroom perhaps, she heard a steady beeping she recognized from a heart monitor, and then suddenly realized she felt sore all over, before also realizing she seemed to be in a bed.
"Wait...am I awake now?"
Using all the strength she had she tilted her head to the side catching the sight of an adult woman, who bore more than a striking resemblance to Scout. She tried to speak but found herself too exhausted to do so. Luckily however the woman looked up from the pad she was reading an spotted her staring.
"Ah, awake now are you? Mother and Veran will be pleased. I'm Nau'ur, I'm the doctor who has been treating you. Tallisibeth is my mother." As she introduced herself she went about the usual medical exam, flashing a light in her eyes, and having her follow her finger as she waved it back and forth, etc, etc. All of which Vestara found quite annoying. Pleased with the results she had gotten Nau'ur promptly motioned she would return, before hastily leaving the room. In her absence Vestara once again tried moving, but noticed her body to be stiff, likely from having lay still for so long, by the time she managed to actually sit herself up she heard the door open, looking up she saw Nau'ur return with Scout behind her, who seemed genuinely happy with Vestara's waking. It was a curious feeling, someone actually being happy to see her well, very few had displayed this in her life, most just criticizing her shortcomings. The sight of someone smiling at her well being still felt foreign, but no less pleasant.
Vestara worked up an aching smile as Tallisibeth sat down next to her, Vestara had many questions concerning the vision she just had and was eager to learn what had happened in her absence.

A/N So obviously this chapter gives a very half-assed summary of the prequel trilogy, but from Vestara's outward perspective, and with very little context given to her. There is an actual reason this was done which I had hoped to address but ran out of space, I prefer my chapters be 6 to 6 and a half pages long.
The reason she saw everything she did will be addressed in the next chapter.
Also something I forgot to mention in the last chapter, Nau'ur, Kote, and Ka'rta are the names of Tallisibeth's remaining children besides Veran.
