Survivor - Mexico (Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty)
Chapter 41 - Day 38
Well, here it is. The story is officially going to end at chapter 45, which will be the reunion show. But for right now, we have to get ready for the final immunity challenge and the first elimination round of this season. Chica, Funky Kong, Isabelle, and Plague Knight are all who are left at this point, while the other fourteen contestants are no longer in the running.
Pretty interesting journey. Like I said, a somewhat tame start due to the tribes being small for the entire pre-merge, but things really got interested at the merge. But now after all that has happened, the season is finally coming to an end. So I'll respond to this guest review here, and we'll get going! And wow, thanks for all the support from the last chapter, guys! Those are the most reviews I've gotten for one chapter thus far (my longest chapter so far for this story btw). Guess I really have kept you all waiting for a whole two months lol. But the good news is I only have four chapters left.
ninjazoom643: Seems like Funky Kong seems to have the most fans with Isabelle right behind. Though I'm actually not too surprised since they are the only two "likable" people left lol, in spite Plague Knight and Chica both having a bit of redemption in certain areas at different points.

FINALE - PART II
Fuerza
Night 37
Isabelle, Chica, Plague Knight, Funky Kong
-/-
With the second to last elimination round now being done and over with, the final four of the season was already determined. All that remained were an upcoming pizza chef, a mayor's assistant, a master alchemist, and a surfer monkey. Yes, it was a rather interesting combination of players to finish the season off. Now all they had to is to prevent themselves from getting eliminated at one more Tribal Council, and three of them would make it to day thirty-nine.
Yet no matter what, one person was about to get rather unlucky. Making it one day short of reaching the Final Tribal Council was never an easy pill to swallow.
Funky Kong, Chica, Plague Knight, and Isabelle were all sitting around the campfire after returning from the tribal.
"I think we should just take this time to congratulate ourselves, you know?" Isabelle spoke up. "We all did something that fourteen other people couldn't do. We're going to day thirty-eight and we're the final four remaining in the game."
"I'm completely psyched, man." Funky Kong sounded completely elated. "I've pinched myself every time I make it past a Tribal Council. Like, I didn't come out here expecting myself to make it this far, so this is just unbelievable!"
"I can't believe I'm still here, either." Chica agreed. "I feel like I was set to go home a long time ago, but here I am making it to day thirty-eight."
"I thought I was going home a long, long, long time ago..." She laughed which contained a mixture of humor and astonishment. "Of all people, who would have thought that Chica Candance would make it this far into the game? Like,... one more day and I'm going to the Final Tribal Council. ...But there's just one problem... I don't know if I'm even going there. Isabelle and Funky Kong just might wanna keep Plague Knight in just so they can tell everybody that they managed to keep all the Brains together. And I'm the only one who's not a Brain here. So if I'm right, that means I have no choice but to try to win the final immunity challenge... which I'm hoping is something that I could do, considering the fact that I've actually won before... Oh goodness..."
Knowing how much pressure she was under, she clapped her hands on the back of her head, lowering it in distress. "It's me against the world, now..."
To cool off, she decided to separate herself from the rest of the tribe, giving the other three competitors the perfect opportunity to speak.
"So..." Isabelle turned to Plague Knight. "You voted Panther out?"
"He was the biggest threat for all of us. And for my game, too." He defended. "Why be stupid? I can't let him win the final immunity challenge. I don't want big threats like him making it to the end."
"Yeah, I suppose that does make sense." She sighed in reply. "So I guess that's that. One more challenge to go..."
"So in the end, Plague did in fact voted for Panther. But it didn't matter because tonight was the last night I could play my idol, so Panther was screwed from the moment I won immunity. It was just a matter of whether Plague was on our side or not." Funky Kong explained. "But with him voting with Iz and I,... is he on our side for the rest of the game now? I mean, there's one Beauty left, and me and Iz ran out of reasons to vote for Plague Knight, so... he's most likely going to final three. Making our best argument is to convince Plague that there's no point of us turning against each other, since we do actually have the chance to have one tribe completely dominate the finals."
"Is there any way we could all vote together for just one last time?" Isabelle spoke again. "I mean, I know you're burned out of the both of us asking you this, but... all we have to do is to not let Chica win individual immunity. Do you think your name is going to be written down at tribal?"
"I highly doubt it." The alchemist disagreed almost immediately. "I'm probably going to the finals no matter what. Might as well start preparing my Final Tribal Council speech."
"Well," Funky snickered. "good luck. We don't have any pen and paper lying around... But,... in order for this to work, I don't mean to make myself sound like I'm the only one who can win challenges or nothin', but... I'm probably the biggest chance of keeping immunity away from Chica."
"Yeah, you are..." Isabelle nodded in agreement, lying down on her side, Kong deciding to lay on his side as well.
"Swear, man... if she wins immunity tomorrow, we're screwed over big time."
"Staying true to your word is hard in this game. So the fact that there could be an all Brain final three, after my alliance tried so hard to keep the Brains together is just great. Can't believe we might actually do it. Sure, we lost a couple of battles, but the Brains are close to winning the war. Just one more challenge, though. I really need to work hard this time. I mean, just what if Chica wins immunity? Worst case scenario, if she manages to pull this off,... either me or Funky Kong are going home..."
She sighed. "Well, even though realistically speaking, I'm the least likely person to win a challenge, but I can't say that I'm not determined to win no matter what it takes. I can do this."
Day 38
A rather bittersweet moment for the remaining four competitors of the show. It was going to be the very last challenge they had to compete in all in an attempt to win a million dollars. On one hand, afterwards, there would be no more challenges any of them had to worry about. Yet on the other side of the coin, since it was a television show the castaways always wanted to be a part of, the fact that the game was nearly ending saddened them. And the fact that it was the final immunity challenge told them that their Survivor experience was just about to be over, with one of them set to be the final boot of the season.
"Well, well, well..." Master Hand greeted the final four as they all walked and stood on the tribe mat. "Funky Kong, Isabelle, Plague Knight, Chica,... welcome to your final immunity challenge. You all have came to this point, doing what fourteen other contestants couldn't do, by you all making it to day thirty-eight on Survivor. Yet after the challenge, just one more person will be voted out tonight and will become the final member of the jury. As for the other three of you, you all will make it to day thirty-nine where you get to plead your case to the jury of why you are deserving to earn the title of Sole Survivor as well as the million dollar check that goes along with it."
They were all beaming with excitement will millions of thoughts emotions running through. Funky Kong even clapped his hands while Plague Knight jumped out of excitement.
"Yes, yes, yes!"
"Shall we get to it?"
"Yes!"
"Ready for it."
"I'm ready."
"Let's do this!"
"For today's challenge, you are going to stack letter blocks on a very wobbly platform. First person to spell Brain, Brawn, Beauty, wins immunity. That one person will be guaranteed a trip to the Final Tribal Council tomorrow night, where as one of you will be voted off to sit with the other seven members on that jury. I hope you all are ready. Let's get right to it."
-/-
"Alright, here we go. Big stakes. For immunity and a guaranteed spot at the Final Tribal Council. Survivors ready? ...GO!"
On top of the wooden boxes contained the letters of the three words the castaways needed to spell out. Chica, Isabelle, Plague Knight, and Funky Kong all began collecting the letters to the first word, 'Brain'.
"First you gotta see how many letters can you carry." Master Hand spoke. "Funky Kong the only one of the four to carry all five of his letters at once. 'Brain' will make up the first row, 'Brawn' will make the second, 'Beauty' will be last."
The challenge competitors began slowly spelling out the first word with one letter block at a time on the structure, all the while holding it in place to avoid any of them collapsing.
"Plague Knight's placed down his first three letters. Now he has to try and lock it in place, which is the tricky part. If all goes well, Plague will be able to lock his structure in place without any of his letters falling to the ground."
He had to use his foot to do so. But unfortunately, the third of three letters he placed down fell over.
"Plague Knight drops. He has to go back!"
Something told the castaways from that moment that maybe the challenge was not going to be as simple as it seemed.
Yet unlike the the mask wearing knight, Cosgrove managed to have a bit of luck.
"Isabelle manages to lock in her first three letters. She's now in the lead unless Funky Kong manages to lock in."
Even though two of his letter blocks fell to the ground, Funky Kong still managed to take the lead with the four that remained standing.
"And he does it! Funky Kong now in the lead. But he still has to head back!"
Chica Candance managed to lock in her first three letters in, heaving a major sigh of relief as a result.
"Okay, so far so good..."
"Chica, the one person who's not a Brain, has won immunity once. Isabelle and Funky Kong have both won immunity before." The host recalled. "Plague Knight, the only one that has yet to win a challenge. It would be perfect timing if he manages to win the most important one of all."
Plague Knight, Funky Kong, and Isabelle all came back with the remaining letters to finish the name of their own former tribe. The cloaked alchemist managed to be the first one finished with Kong right behind, both taking their time locking them in.
"...Funky Kong loses everything!"
He groaned in reaction.
"Now he has to go all the way back. Plague Knight's taking the lead now as he finishes his first word."
Isabelle managed to lock in two more letters. Yet to make her job more difficult, the 'N' in the first word was not stable enough.
"Here comes Chica again with the rest of the letters for her first word!"
And like Plague Knight, she was also successful at completing it, putting her in the lead with the Shovel Knight contestant.
"You've got to remain calm in a challenge like this. Be sure to be as careful as possible locking that structure in."
Plague Knight and Chica began to work on 'Brawn', the second of the three words needed to be completed. But for the former, he accidentally placed down his 'B' upside down and never thought about checking twice, locking it in as well as the letters 'R' and 'A'.
"Plague working a bit more quickly."
"Uh-oh... No!"
"Isabelle loses everything!" Master Hand called out. "Isabelle the only one that has yet to complete her first word."
Funky Kong decided to once again gather all of his letters for his second word to make up for the time he lost. However, upon gradually making his way back, the structure shook a bit too much, making all the letters from 'Brawn' collapse as well as the first letter of his first word while locking in.
And yes, he was one of those people that glanced up to the sky with eyes closed out of frustration.
Plague Knight and Chica in that order were both in the lead. The latter was simply a bit slower.
"Isabelle finally completes her first word. Chica and Plague Knight both a few letters away from finishing 'Brawn'."
"...What!?"
Although one was successful, the other was not.
"...Plague Knight loses almost everything! That puts Chica right in the lead by a large margin! She's heading back to collect pieces for her final word!"
"Oh my god..." She mumbled to herself after hearing that.
"Chica seems to be the target based off the last Tribal Council. Could she win her way to the end?"
Yet Funky Kong was not giving up. He quickly placed down the single letter needed to complete his first word, though he had make a second trip to gather up the letters for 'Brawn' again. This time he was more patient and calm. Even Isabelle was now back in it thanks to Plague Knight, nearly completing 'Brawn' herself.
Candance came with three of the five letters of 'Beauty', taking her time like the others.
"Chica going back to lock in. If all her blocks manages to stay standing, all she needs is two more blocks and she wins it."
In comparison, Plague Knight was simply starting over. But he was pulling off a Funky Kong at that point, managing to make an all in move by carrying all the letters of his first word at once. Yes for someone his size it was too much to carry, causing his struggle. He needed to work extremely carefully. However, it did not end up paying off. He was not even finished putting blocks down with the first couple already falling. Sure, he clearly was not going to give up, but it seemed that his efforts never mattered considering Chica's progress.
"Chica now back with her final letters for 'Beauty'. No rush at all..."
Upon placing them, she knew that there was no reason to not work slowly.
"Chica gradually making her way back to lock in her structure, only seconds away from winning that necklace... Can she do it?"
...
"...No! Chica drops two! Now she has to go all the way back! The door is still open but no one is even close to her except for Funky Kong who is just now working on his final word."
She nimbly came back to attempt at it again. Though thanks to moving too quickly, she accidentally bumped her structure and ended up losing absolutely everything.
"Disaster for Chica as all of her progress is now gone!"
The chicken immediately buried her face in her hands.
"Funky Kong's now in the lead and he has placing down the rest of his letters for 'Beauty'."
After carefully placing down the 'Y', it was now his turn to attempt to lock in for good. His body slowly shifting horizontally as he prepared to lock in his structure. But unfortunately, the Survivor Gods simply were not staring down on him at the time.
"And Funky Kong loses almost everything. The door is back open now, and Isabelle, who was taking her time the entire challenge is now in the lead with her now working on 'Beauty'. Plague Knight picking up the pace! He wants that necklace!"
As he was now working on his second word, Isabelle Cosgrove attempted to lock in. Though luck apparently was not with her as seven of her blocks from all over failed at balancing.
"Isabelle drops! She now has to go back."
At that point, in spite of Plague Knight somehow being in the lead again, it was basically anybody's challenge at that point.
The next few minutes was filled with many unsuccessful attempts with the castaways balancing letter blocks, locking in their structure, and at times even simply holding their blocks during their trip away from their starting post. Overall, it might as well have been teaching the castaways of why it was simply never a good idea to give up at anything in life no matter what.
It was now a three-way tie for first place between Chica, Plague Knight, and Funky Kong as all three of them were now working on their final word, Isabelle halfway to completing her second. Though soon after it was realized, Plague Knight dropped yet again.
"Chica and Funky Kong are both now placing letters for their final word. Yet nothing is clearly ever certain in this challenge. If both of them drop again, the door will be wide open once more."
Candance successfully placed down half of her letters for 'Beauty' and quickly dashed back to the start to pick up the rest of her letters. Although, one thing Funky Kong always did was carry all of his letters at once to do a word. And with him technically being in the lead, it appeared that his strategy was paying off.
"Funky Kong getting ready to lock back in! Can he do it without him dropping a single letter, or will Chica still have a chance? Let's see what happens this time..."
Slowly, but surely, he used his foot to lock in his structure.
"Funky Kong now racing back to the start!"
"FUNKY KONG WINS FINAL IMMUNITY!"
"Guaranteed a spot at the Final Tribal Council!"
"YES! YES, BABY!"
Jumping up and down full of excitement, he actually ripped off his tank top and threw it to the side.
"THANK YOU!"
Chica sighed and simply stayed where she was, Plague Knight dropping whatever letters he was holding and shook his head.
"That was hard..." He commented as he met with Master Hand halfway, who was already holding the necklace.
"It was quite dramatic..." Isabelle agreed, the master hooking Funky Kong's necklace on his neck.
"Alright, Funky Kong. Congratulations." He said. "You are guaranteed safety and will not be voted off at tonight's Tribal Council."
Upon realization that he managed to avoid elimination throughout the entire season, he out of the blue decided to hug Master Hand. Of course, since Master Hand never had an actual body, it was sort of awkward, and it took him by surprise.
"Okay, then!" He laughed it off. "Nobody has ever given me a hug before on Survivor!"
"I just can't believe it, man!"
"Well, you made it." The host of the season turned to face the non-winners of the challenge. "Funky Kong is officially safe from being voted off at tonight's Tribal Council. As for the rest of you, I am sure it was great thirty-eight day adventure for you. But sadly, that adventure will be cut just one day short of making it to the Final Tribal Council. I will see all of you tonight where one of the three of you will be the final member of our jury."
"I'm speechless... I'm... I'm going to the final three!" He spoke rather loudly. "Unbelievable, man! Just think about it. I'm making it to the very end where I was never voted off. I came out here to have a good time and this is the icing on the cake for me. I've done it! This is for all my dudes back at home, man. Dreams do come true. Now I get to spend the next twenty-four hours simply hanging out with the rest of my tribemates. ...Though one more person has to go home and I'll see who's going to final three with me. I can't celebrate this thing by myself!"
Fuerza
Day 38
Chica, Funky Kong, Isabelle, and Plague Knight were all now back at the Fuerza camp.
"And you ripped your tank top right off!" Isabelle laughed at the moment where Kong was confirmed his win. "Did you intend to do that?"
"Haha, not really." He denied hooking the necklace up on the branch. "I was just that excited knowing that I'm never going to be voted off. Sure I'm gonna be pretty much shirtless for the rest of this, but I've been out here for thirty-day eight days already. What's twenty-four more hours gonna do?"
"So Funky Kong is going to the final three." Isabelle stated. "Proud for him and all after all that we went through, but we both know that it was more about keeping immunity away from Chica because she's the last non-Brain left. The moment when we found out that Chica was literally seconds away from getting the necklace,... that scared me. After us working so hard to keep the Brains together, our plan would not have worked because of one more challenge. But Funky Kong managed to save the day. And I guess we don't have to worry about Plague Knight anymore. Me and Funky aren't planning to vote him off and he knows it. So he's going to the end. Maybe he'll calm down, now. But I gotta admit, I'm happy for him as well. Even though people didn't like how he acted, he managed to get to the end based off his underdog story. So I guess that's his closure."
"Aye, you know what they should do?" Funky Kong asked, being the fire starter for the day. "They should probably have something where we can honor everybody that got voted off, y'know what I'm sayin'? They should just take a couple minutes to let us honor every single person who's been voted off. ...Like a rite of passage, haha!"
"I see where you're going with it." Isabelle grinned in understanding, waving her legs back and forth from her place in the shelter. "After all, this experience is not just about us, but for everyone that competed. They deserve something as well... Maybe a good time would be for the first All Star season or something."
"All Star season?" He replied. "I know it's coming, but I just don't know when. But whenever it's gonna be, if they want me back, I'm not sayin' no. Even though I'm going to day thirty-nine, who would ever decline a game like this?"
"You would have to do with all the crazy strategizing, though..."
"Yeah, yeah, I know..." Funky sighed at that. "People will do anything to win Survivor. Just look at what happened. But hey, I can't deny all the good times I've had out here... in Mexico of all places. My cousin likes to strategize as well, but we both love adventure, so he'd probably wanna come back, too."
Plague Knight was seen putting his mask back on ignoring the entire conversation.
"Okay, okay, I'm ninety-nine percent likely going to final tribal at this point in the game. If Funky and Isabelle are willing to bring me to the end, why argue with them again? It's day thirty-nine and they need to bring somebody to the end. They want Chica to go home because we're Brain and she's not. But, you know? They just want all Brains to the end because they care a lot about making friends and keeping the team strong. But,... should people really care about that? ...Or should they care about who's deserving to win? Sure, thanks to Isabelle, my final three plan is all ruined, but I'm not giving up. I wanna win this thing."
As Chica was seen hanging her head down by the water, with one tap on the shoulder, she jumped in surprise.
"Huh!?"
"I need you to do something... Well,..." He glanced away for a brief moment. "I guess I can probably help you."
"Help me do what?"
"You have to practice your fire making skills."
"...For what?" She blinked in confusion.
"Because I said so! I'm not losing this game because of people thinking that it's all about keeping friends and family together, okay!?" He glared. "We are gonna vote together at Final Tribal Council. Since Funky Kong's immune, we are gonna write down Isabelle to force a tie, and to have you two compete in a firemaking challenge. Okay?"
"...What!?"
"Shhhhh!" He waved his arms everywhere. "Do you want them to hear you? Funky Kong's never gonna write her name down and if I tell him about it, I'll have to hear his mouth for the rest of the day. You have to stay in this game. Do you hear me?"
"...Well,... as long as you don't want me to go home, then I'll gladly stay here. It's just one more day after all..."
"Good. Let's find somewhere special so you can practice. I'll be on the lookout in case Isabelle or Funky Kong show up."
"...Oookay..." Candance did not know how to react. "I thought I was going home when I blew it at the final challenge, but Plague Knight in a mean way basically said that he doesn't want me to go home because Isabelle's a bigger threat for the final three. So he wants to ruin their plan and have the both of us write down Isabelle since Funky has immunity, which means that I have to make fire now. But Funky Kong of the four of us has the most experience. The rest of us have only made fire a couple of times. But I'm still quite horrible at it. I was finally able to make fire on like, day thirty and I cut my finger. I don't know when Isabelle made fire for the first time. But it was not as of late, so maybe with me practicing I might have the advantage..."
She was now using the flint that Plague Knight borrowed (stole) from the tools.
"...No! ...It's like this!"
"Oops. Sorry..."
"Keep practicing. We only have a couple hours left." He warned her. "Oh... I wish I made fire more. But most of the time when I came back to camp I was always thinking of ways to where I can survive the vote because I got tired of people coming after me and Specter all the time! I just didn't expect myself to be helping someone else that has to win the challenge!"
"Well, maybe it was meant to be this way since Specter and Jimmy did help you at different points where you needed them most..."
"Look, this is all about you, alright!?"
"Looks for the umpteenth time in this game, I'm in a position where I could go home, but I don't have to go home. That's pretty much my story out here since day one." Chica thought out loud. "But it's do or die for me at this point. I really could go home because of a firemaking challenge that I may or may not be able to do. But, you know what? I've gone this far in the game already. Why give up when I'm only one day away from finishing this thing? I might have had a hard time out here, but if I don't make it to the end, it's gonna be the one thing that I will regret for the rest of my life. I can't give up now..."
Tribal Council
Night 38
It may not have been the Final Tribal Council, but this tribal was still always one of the most important for a season. It was the tribal that decided who exactly was going to make it to the final day of the game. In other words, it was the second most important that was still meant to be taken seriously.
The four contestants each sat down in the four seats that remained at the tribal ceremony.
"We'll now bring in the members of our jury..."
And there, the jury members came one by one.
"Espio, Ryu, Golden, Specter Knight, Daisy, Incineroar, and Panther voted out at the last Tribal Council." Master Hand called out as Panther gave a smirk to the rest of the contestants, promptly sitting down on the jury bench.
"Alright." From there, the ritual begin. "Final four, here we are. What did you all think of the immunity challenge?"
All four of them talked as if it was one of the biggest, yet annoying things they ever did.
"Like I said, it was rather dramatic." Isabelle commented. "I believe what made it interesting is that everybody was in the lead at some point including myself, but then we all kept dropping our blocks every three seconds, making the challenge last way longer than we thought."
"That structure was just so... delicate." Plague Knight complained. "It's like one little touch it's all it takes for everything to just fall apart like that. You have to be absolutely perfect with it. I was in the lead with Chica in the beginning but I messed up."
"And Chica, you were in the lead at the beginning of the challenge." Master Hand pointed out. "You were this close to winning it at the end, but you made a slip, and it was downhill from there."
"Yeah..." She sighed with deep regret. "I should have been more careful. There were so many other chances that I could have won it, but it was topped off with Funky Kong winning because he's stronger than me. Of course he's going to carry more blocks than everybody else at one time. But then again, if I did everything right the first time, the challenge would have ended way earlier than it did. I'm already on the chopping block and I might go home tonight."
She heaved a rather heavy sigh.
"Isabelle, last Tribal Council, Chica was with Panther and you were with Funky Kong with Plague Knight in the middle. Plague decided to align with the Brains and vote Panther out. So if things didn't change between then and now, the three of you Brains will be at the end with Chica getting the final boot of the season. Are you three still tight?"
"Well, tight overall? It seems that way at this moment. Me and Funky Kong generally liked each other from the beginning as well as Golden and Espio, so we all voted together to get Jimmy Hopkins out. Plague Knight was on the outside and... the rest is history." She laughed, though Plague did not find it amusing at all. "But even though we intended to vote Plague Knight out at times, as the game went on, we were trying our best to keep him with us, and he was in the swing vote position not once, but twice, so it was solely up to him at those times to decided where to go, and last night, he chose to stay with us. So if all goes well, we might have an all Brain final three after tonight."
"What do you think about that, Funky Kong?" The host questioned.
"Well, no offense to anyone that was never on my old tribe or anything, but I guess having all Brains at the end would be pretty sweet. Not based on our perception, but because of our story together. Sure, even me and Isabelle were on different paths at one point, but in spite of all those differences between the three of us, we swept all of that under the rug and all we had to was to have one of us win final immunity, and today it happened to be me (which I'm still psyched about, by the way)."
"So Plague Knight, wanna explain why you voted Panther out in the first place? You were kind of being pulled left and right."
"Yes." He agreed a thousand percent. "For a second time, too. But I mean, look at him."
He smirked largely from his spot from the bench.
"Just because people like Funky Kong or Ryu are stronger than him does not mean that he still can't win. He's athletic, too. I would be the dumbest Survivor ever and I just let him win. Sure, anybody could have won today's challenge, but supposed that challenge was made to give strong physical players like him the advantage? I would never win something like that. He was already a threat, anyway. Why make my life even harder?"
"Okay, we get the point..." Specter Knight mumbled from the jury.
"So I guess you are still gonna be with Funky Kong and Isabelle for this final vote so that all three of you make it to the very end?"
"Well,... I guess in this game whether you like it or not, you kinda have to work with the people you have to just for the sake of your own game. I could have gone against these two last night, but I didn't and I have my own reasons. I mean, you don't have to really like anyone. But at the end of the day, you want to win, and you have to learn how to tolerate others and actually work with them.
"It's not always a matter of who likes who. It's about who do you have to work with to further your ownself." He went on. "If you don't do that, then you're a fool. In my world, I work with anyone who I have to just so that I increase my chances of winning a million dollars. Whether it was Jimmy, Specter Knight, or even Isabelle and Funky Kong. If you want to win, prove it."
"Alright, Chica. So I guess if those three are solid, then it seems like a 3-1 vote and you're on the jury."
"I'm afraid so. I don't exactly wanna go home, but I'm just the odd one out over here. Not like I can really do much, but everyone knows that Survivor is a numbers game. And if you don't have numbers, what are you gonna do? Rig the votes? You can't really do anything about it. All you can do is hope and pray to the Survivor Gods that something comes up."
"...Alright." Master Hand decided that it was a good moment to end the discussion. "I guess we can get to it. Funky Kong has the necklace and I'm pretty sure he doesn't wanna give it up."
"Haha, you're kidding me?" He chuckled.
"With that being said, only he is officially safe tonight. As for the rest of you, one of you is about to be voted out, just one day short of making it to day thirty-nine on Survivor. It is time, to, vote. Isabelle, you're up."
With the voting session commencing, Chica felt a large pit in her stomach, visibly showing her worry by staring at her feet.
"I'm sorry it'd have to come to this." She showed her vote to the camera, Chica's name in big letters. "I would do the same for you if you were on my tribe in the beginning. Best of luck."
Chica herself went up next to write down Cosgrove's name herself.
"Funky has immunity and I got to write down somebody. Plague Knight, all I gotta say is that you better not be lying to me..."
Once Plague Knight quickly cast his vote, Funky Kong placed his vote in the urn before making it back to his seat.
"Guess that was the last vote from me this season..." He mumbled under his breath.
"I'll go tally the votes..."
Plague Knight twiddled his thumbs as Chica began to grow even more nervous.
"I'll go read the votes." Master Hand spoke promptly after returning. "First vote..."
"Isabelle."
She and Funky Kong never thought too much of it. If anything it made sense since Funky already had the necklace at the time.
"Chica. One vote Chica, one vote Isabelle."
Golden was smiling thus far. Yet the other FNAF character was nearly about to jump out of her skin.
"Chica. Two votes Chica, one vote Isabelle, one vote left.
Plague Knight sat still in place, the others watching Master Hand retrieve the final vote from the urn, making Chica at that point tense up more than ever.
...
"...Isabelle."
! !
That shocked nearly everyone including the jurors.
"We have a tie. Two votes Isabelle, two votes Chica."
Funky Kong immediately shifted to Plague Knight, who did not look back. Chica actually sighed as Isabelle could not have believed it.
"He did do it after all..." muttered Ryu.
"So," Master Hand began to elaborate. "In a re-vote, the only people that could vote are Plague Knight and Funky Kong. Do you see a reason to re-vote, or are you two locked in?"
"I'm locked in." Funky Kong stated before shifting to the alchemist almost instantly.
"...I'm locked in, too." Plague Knight nodded.
"Ooh..." Incineroar grinned in excitement rubbing his hands together. "This is gonna be fun..."
"In that case, when we have a final four, the tiebreaker is in fact, the fire making challenge."
Isabelle Cosgrove immediately buried her head in her lap in shock. That was something neither she, nor Funky Kong expected at all.
"Chica's making fire." Panther said to Daisy who both smirked in interest.

"Alright, you each have a fire making kit."
The girls were each at a separate fire making station away from Plague Knight and Funky Kong. Isabelle's had a yellow flag, and Chica's had a blue flag.
"The rules are pretty simple." said the master. "You have to build a fire from the base of your fire making station. First person to build a fire that is high enough to burn through the rope earns their way to the final three and will live to see the final day in this game. Loser becomes the eighth and final member of our jury."
Funky Kong had a hand on his head in utter disbelief. Isabelle was in fact in danger of going home.
"You girls ready?"
"Yeah..."
"Yep..."
"Alright..." Master Hand gave the girls the okay. "Let's begin..."
Everyone watched as they both promptly grabbed their coconut husks, using the machete to cut part of it off and use it to start building a base.
"This should be something that you are both used to at this point... You two have been here for thirty-eight days. Building a fire should be one of your everyday skills out here in the wild in order to survive. This time, though, it is a matter of how fast you can make it. Now you have competition."
Both contestants went right away at shaving magnesium onto the coconut husk using their flint.
"Chica's going to be the first to try getting a spark..."
She was now striking away at her flint in an attempt to get something going, yet she had no luck. Isabelle decided to have a go at it herself.
Funky Kong might as well have kept his fingers crossed at the moment, yet he was too nervous and rather upset at Plague Knight. Though inside his mind, he was in fact praying, as well as some of the jurors, especially Golden and Espio.
...No flame. Thus, it was still anyone's game.
Within a few more seconds of striking the flint, there was luck for one of the females.
"Isabelle has a flame. She does have to make sure she keeps her fire going because coconut husks do burn quickly... And Isabelle's fire goes out."
Funky Kong gradually shook his head.
"Chica now having a go at it again."
Plague Knight leaned in a bit, but yet again, nothing."
"Isabelle has a flame once again... Gotta nurture it. This is what you do when you need to boil water and heat up food... And it seems to be staying this time."
"Start building it up..." Espio mumbled.
Now the Animal Crossing character began breaking small sticks to begin building a structure. Fire of course had a harder time burning through wood than coconut husk, which meant that it took a bit longer. It was good news, though, since it meant more time for Isabelle to keep it going.
"No luck coming from Chica, yet."
Plague chose to say nothing.
"Isabelle's flame is starting to grow as she's making a pile for it, now. However, the fire is leaning a little. She needs to make sure it actually goes up so that it can rise and start touching the rope."
In spite of her great efforts, Candance was having no luck at all.
"Now Isabelle's fire is starting to rise higher, very close to start touching that rope... Chica now has a flame."
Plague Knight's heart started to beat. Could the chicken somehow catch up? The smaller castaway was clearly in the lead.
"Gotta get it to stay."
She was careful to blow just enough for her flame to catch on, now hurrying to place down sticks for it to grow.
"Isabelle has one heck of a blaze, now. It is now starting to burn through that rope." His words were encouraging for Isabelle, yet they represented as a warning for Chica. "Isabelle's very close to see day thirty-nine. Chica's very close to officially becoming the eighth an final member of our jury."
It definitely might have been the last day Chica got to see the Fuerza camp.
Suddenly, the rope snapped and Isabelle's flag went up.
"Isabelle's done it! Isabelle has earned her way to the Final Tribal Council and will see day thirty-nine in this game."
The juror clapped as Plague Knight covered his mask in disappointment, Chica slowly began to shed tears in her defeat, letting whatever flame that remained burn slowly through the wood. Yet being a good sport, Isabelle warmly embraced her.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize. It's not your fault."
Yet in spite of Chica saying that, deep down she was hurting. No final tribal for her because she failed to beat Isabelle at fire.
They both returned to their seats.
"Isabelle, congratulations."
"Thank you, master." She responded, Funky Kong reaching his hand out to place it on her shoulder. "You now take the final spot at the Final Tribal Council where you will live to see day thirty-nine in Survivor with Plague Knight and Funky Kong, and you now have your chance to plead your case to the jury on why you deserve to win this game."
She began tearing up herself, covering her eyes with her hands. Just a minute ago she was scared to death that she had the chance of being eliminated, yet there was no reason to be scared anymore.
"Chica,... you had quite the thirty-eight days out here. What's going through your mind right now?" Master Hand asked out of curiosity.
"I..." She simply sighed. "I am just... actually g-glad that at least my fate was in my own h-hands. I could have a-actually been unanimously eliminated, but to know that I had j-just one more chance to stay in this game, then... at least it was up to me, myself, and I to stay out here."
"Alright, Chica. You have been eliminated. You become the fifteenth person voted out of this season, and you become the eighth and final member of our jury. I need you to grab your torch."
"Sure..."
Panther and Daisy eyed Chica all the way as she retrieved her torch to bring it over to Master Hand, Funky Kong now rubbing Isabelle's back, who was still emotional at what she had just done.
"Chica, the tribe has spoken."
She watched as her final fire was now put out.
Plague Knight's hand still remained on his hand. His mission was failed.
"Time for you to go."
She turned around to wave her final goodbyes as they all waved back, including a few of the jurors.
"Well, there we have it. That was the final elimination round in this game, and it ended off in a fire making challenge. But in the end, we still have an all Brain final three to finish this off. You all need to have a good night's sleep for your Final Tribal Council and tomorrow, day thirty-nine is all yours. Grab your torches, head back to camp."

4th Place: Chica
"Well, it took thirty-eight days for me to finally be removed from this. It was a wild rollercoaster ride for me. There were countless times where I thought to myself of being voted out multiple times, and I ended up being the very last one from my tribe and barely missing out on the final day here. I guess that's something I should be proud of. Though I didn't make it, I still learned a couple things about myself and now I have way more confidence in myself than what I had when I first got here."
SURVIVOR FINALE
"Well, she had a story of her own being out here. She was overwhelmed when the game started, but as time slowly progressed, it was as if she told herself she could do this. Chica has just been eliminated from the game, one day short of making it to the end. But now, we have an all, Brain, final, three. We are still not done yet. When we come back, we will see what Plague Knight, Funky Kong, and Isabelle have to say about themselves making it all the way to the very end before they reach their Final Tribal Council. It is the season finale of Survivor - Mexico (Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty)!"
(For the immunity challenge, it was going to be a brand new challenge that I would have had to make up, but I'm fresh out of ideas, so I ended up borrowing the idea from S35. Don't worry. Maybe there will be many new challenges for Survivor - Caribbean!)
I'm back again! And with the final elimination out of the way, the next chapter should be a breeze for me to write. This was my very first fire making challenge I had to write, so how did yall think I do? Oh yeah, we have an all Brain final three, now. So that's rather interesting.
Speaking of Caribbean, it's time to introduce the final castaway of the season, Springtrap from FNAF. (Yeah, anthropomorphic like the other FNAF characters from this series. I'm gonna have Kevin Davis as his real name for this, but "Springtrap" will be his nickname. He does not know about any of the other FNAF characters except for one that will probably be saved for another season)
So, there you have it: Ken, King K. Rool, Ridley, Kasawaki, Corrin, Sans, Springtrap, Robin, Yoshi, Chrom, Rodin, Mangle, Meta Knight, Vector, Banjo, Doc Louis, Charizard, Simon, and Joker all for Survivor - Caribbean. (Release date: Spring 2020.)
I encourage everyone to review! Next time we will see Funky Kong, Isabelle, and Plague Knight on day thirty-nine! (I promise I'll work on more Ponderosa chapters)
