The war between the Duat Kingdom has begun. Attacks are coming from all sides and the Duat Kingdom has proven to be a powerful force. However, the people and wizards of Fiore are not going to give up without a fight. However, the Duat Kingdom continues to prove to be too much.

"Unbelievable..." Levi said as he dropped to the ground. He and his friends in Lamia Scale tried taking on Terran, but they were all beaten and Terran didn't seem to have a single scratch. "He was able to beat us in almost no time. How can that be?"

"As is the power of The Ten. I'm afraid there isn't anyone that can stand against us." Terran said. The Ten are truly a terrifying force. They appear to be unstoppable, but if Fiore is going to win this war, and if the world is going to survive, they must be defeated.

...

Sasha

Sasha was faced with one of The Ten as well. She faced against Airin, the same member that was able to bring Erza to her knees. She knows very well as to what she's up against, but she has to fight. So she charged at him with a pair of swords and went on the attack. She swung her blades around, but Airin avoided each attack. When she swung at him, he dropped down and swung his leg at her. Sasha crossed her blades and blocked his attack, but Airin balanced himself with his hand and used his spare leg to strike her in the gut. Sasha slid back, but she held her ground.

"Not bad." Airin said. Sasha jumped in the air and tried to attack him again, but Airin jumped out of the way and got behind her. He tried to strike her again, but Sasha jumped out of the way. "You appear to be quite the fighter."

'I've got to be careful.' Sasha thought as she started to run circles around him. 'I don't know when he'll use the same spell he used on Erza or know of any indication as to when he'll use it. My only chance is to make sure he doesn't get one!' She went at him again, but he stepped to the side and avoided her. Sasha acted quickly and changed her swords for her Twin Busters. "Take this!" She aimed right at him and blasted at point-blank range. Sasha moved away from the explosion, but she kept her guard up.

"You can move pretty well." Airin said as he stepped through the smoke. Sasha saw that he had a barrier of air around him and shielded himself from the attack. "You're quite the skillful fighter. You're movements are done quite well and not a single one was waisted. You just needed to move a little faster."

"I'm not too worried about that." Sasha said as she got moving again. She kept trying to shoot him, but Airin jumped in the air and avoided her attacks. He launched a shot of air and it blasted near Sasha, but Sasha rolled against the ground and got back up. Airin landed down and just stood there.

"Trying to keep yourself moving?" Airin said. "It seems that you're trying to prevent me from doing something. I think I know what is. You're aware of my spell, aren't you? The same one that was used against Erza." Sasha widened her eyes and that was all he needed. "I was right."

"So what?" Sasha said as she requipped and pulled out her gatling gun. She fired at him, but Airin ducked down and moved around as she avoided her attacks. He jumped in the air and landed on her weapon as she knocked it out of her hands. He spun around and gave her a strong kick as she was knocked down.

"So you're cautious of my spell." Airin said. "I noticed your guild emblem and knew you had to have been aware of my spell that I used against Erza as soon as I identified myself. You're so cautious of it, here it comes."

"No!" Sasha said, but it was too late.

"Pressura Mutatio." Airin used the same spell that he used on Erza. The air pressure around Sasha changed and everything was different. The first thing she noticed was the ground moving around like ocean waves. It also seemed like everything around her turned black.

"Damn it. He got me after all." Sasha said.

"Correct." Airin said as he appeared to be floating in the air. "This is an extremely difficult spell to master, but once you do master it, there is practically no way to defend yourself from it. I practically control all that happens with what you see. Even time itself has no relevance here. In fact, I'm only getting started." The land flattened out and spikes came out of the ground. Even though Sasha knew what she was seeing wasn't real, she still did her best to avoid them.

'I have to be extremely careful.' Sasha thought. 'None of this is real. It's all in my head, but my brain will believe it to feel real. I don't even know what I'm doing in the real world.' More spikes launch from the ground, spikes coming from the spikes. Sasha was doing her best to avoid everything thrown at her.

"It's pointless to try and run." Airin said. All the spikes launched into the air and Sasha watched them. She saw the spikes break into millions of shuriken and they all rained down on her. Sasha crossed her arms and was trying her best to block them out. She was trying to endure it, but the pain felt real.

'It's not real. It's all in my mind.' Sasha thought as she tried to hold on. 'I've got to try and block it out. Ignore what I'm seeing and try to regain my focus.'

"It's pointless to defend yourself." Airin said. "Once you're caught in this spell, you can't escape."

'I can't imagine what Erza must have went through. She said she felt like she was like this for a week, but only a few seconds actually passed. Even my sense of time is messed up.' Sasha thought.

"Try as much you like, but there is no blocking this spell." Airin said. Sasha could feel the shuriken moving and they tried to get deeper into her skin. "I control practically everything that goes on in this spell. Nothing around you is real, but you believe that it is. That is actually what we all believe in some form. When we can't see something to know it's real, we believe that it is. We believe in the things we can't see to be real. Everyone has something like that in some form, no matter how skeptic the ideal might be."

"You are aware that what you're doing with Ankhselam is to take those beliefs and destroy them, right?" Sasha said.

"Yes. I'm well aware of that, but it must be done." Airin said. "My spell is a great example of what that kind of thinking can do. It can cause pain and take it's toll on us."

"And you think the best way to fix all that is to destroy the world as we know it?" Sasha said. "There's no way in hell any of my friends or I are going to let that!" She found the strength and caused the shuriken to shoot off her body. "You might be messing with my head, but it's still MY head!" She ran straight at Airin, but it seemed like she wasn't getting any closer.

"Just wait. Your mind will be torn to shreds that you will never recover." Airin said as the land was reforming into something terrifying. All this was really happening just in Sasha's mind. As it was, Airin just across from her real body and hardly any time has really passed. 'Not bad.' He thought. 'She's enduring what I'm throwing at her mind quite well like Erza did. This is only the second time this has happened. Most can't handle what I do to them when I use this spell. Either I'm getting soft or Fairy Tail really is a tough enemy. Still, I must end this.' Airin was going to add the finishing touches to finish Sasha.

"Forgetting something?" Airin was caught off guard as he heard a voice and saw Sasha got electrocuted.

"What the hell?!" Airin said.

"Behind you." Airin turned around and was met with a palm strike to the face and he was knocked down. The one who did it was none other than Rin.

"That girl..." Airin said as he remembered he blasted her earlier. "I thought I already took you out."

"Sasha, are you okay?" Rin asked.

"Yeah." Sasha said as she took deep breaths. "That spell of his made me think a couple days passed, but I'm still good. Thanks, Rin."

"Wait. What the hell is going on?" Airin questioned.

"I figured out how your spell works." Sasha said with Airin caught off guard. "You see, this was all part of my plan. I knew you were around here and I filled Rin in."

...

Flashback

"Yikes. That sounds like a scary spell." Rin said as Sasha told her about Airin's power. This all happened just a few minutes before Airin attacked the two of them.

"Yeah. Even Erza could barely take him." Sasha said.

"So what are we going to do? If we get caught in that spell, sounds like we're in real trouble." Rin said.

"I have an idea." Sasha said and told her the plan. It was a little crazy, but it was their best chance.

End of Flashback.

...

"It was only a theory, but it worked." Sasha said. "I figured if I was injured in reality, it would snap me out of your spell. I knew you would use that same spell you used on Erza. So I came up with a few precautions."

"You didn't really think you took me down that easily, did you?" Rin said. "While you were so focused on Sasha, I just needed to wait for the right moment to strike. You let your guard down and that was a big mistake."

"You actually injured yourself to counter my spell?! you had this all planned?!" Airin said.

"That's right." Sasha said. "I also figured that spell of yours takes a lot of concentration. If I could distract you, your spell would lose it's hold on me. I just needed someone to help me if it turned out I did get caught. Rin only pretended to be taken out until it happened."

"That sounds impressive, but it's all for naught." Airin said.

"We'll see about that. Rin! Aim for the pads on his ears!" Sasha called.

"Right!" Rin said as she pulled out a couple cards and tossed them at him. They hit the pads on his ears and knocked them right off. As soon as they were knocked off, the sounds from all the fighting flooded his ears. He held his ears and screamed in agony.

"I knew it. I thought those things looked weird and I see what they were really for, not just for appearance." Sasha said. "Looks like you have sensitive ears. All the noise must be driving you mad." Airin tried to block out the sounds, but it was too much for him.

"I...can't...take it!" Airin said.

"Girl, your instincts are on point. You found his weaknesses and nailed it." Rin said.

"Now to end this." Sasha said.

"Right!" Rin said as she was the first to attack. Airin saw her coming and took her attacks as she landed each strike.

'I can't focus.' Airin thought. He can't focus on the fight because all the loud noises affected him greatly. Sasha was the next to attack as she pulled out a pair of twin swords and slashed against him. Airin was getting his butt kicked and he couldn't stop it.

"This ends now!" Sasha claimed as she turned back to him and pulled out her Magic Bazooka. She aimed it right at him and fired. Airin was shot straight to the air and an explosion went off with Airin taking great damage. Thanks to Sasha, one of The Ten has finally fallen.
