Hey there! Bonus chapter for today so I hope that you guys enjoy! As always I love all of your reviews and you make me so happy you really really do. This is the chapter a lot of people were waiting for after all!

Naruto and Sakura made their way outside of the hotsprings and around to the back wall together, and crouched bent over with his back to them was a man with long spiky white hair wearing red and green. And even if it was only from the back Naruto was pretty sure she knew who the man was-based on the perverted giggling, the notepad he was holding and his hair and clothes.

She'd seen a picture of the man with team Minato, he'd been younger then but she'd be willing to bet anything that they were looking at Jiraiya. One of the Sannin.

She glanced at Sakura, who was glaring at the old man, and then she laid a hand on the pink haired girls shoulder to hold her back for just a second as she spoke up. "Hm, now what exactly are you doing? Peeking on the women's hotsprings."

"I'm doing research! Go away!"

"Pretty sure you were supposed to go straight

o the Hokage's office when you arrived-"

"Sensei can wait I have important work to do."

"What you mean perving?" Sakura demanded, "That's not important work-"

"He does write Kakashi-sensei's precious books." Naruto remarked, "Mom told me once."

"Ugh." Jiraiya didn't turn his head, "I heard Kakashi-kun had new students. Go away-"

"No way Ero Sennin-"

"What did you just call me?" the old man straightened up and turned, clearly about to start yelling, but he froze when his eyes landed on Naruto, who was giving him an innocent little grin, blue eyes shining with amusement as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I called you Ero Sennin, Ero Sennin, you got a problem with that?"

"You-you-"

"There's a reason the Hokage told you to come straight to his office Ero Sennin."

"W-what... who... how?" the man looked honestly stunned, and Naruto felt a rush of pity for him, stepping forward quickly, a soft smile on her lips.

"How about we go and see the Hokage and we can explain the situation." but the old man didn't move-and she realized that his warm brown eyes were shining with sudden tears, and he was moving forward, his hand cupping Naruto's cheek.

"Naruto?" the name was barely more than a breath, and Naruto gave a shaky smile, the emotion in his expression was moving to say the least.

"That's my name Ero Sennin."

Then his arms were wrapped around her tightly and his face was pressed into the top of her head. "How?"

"Let's go and see the Hokage." Naruto hugged him back, "Then I wanna get to know my godfather. It'd be pretty cool to be able to say I was trained by one of the Sannin."

"I thought you died." Jiraiya managed, "I thought you died and it was covered up by the orphanage."

"Not quite." Naruto gave a very small shrug, squirming out of his grip and grabbing his arm, "C'mon Ero Sennin. Let's go. Sakura-chan can you go and find my mom and Kakashi-sensei and ask her to meet us there?"

"Of course Naruto-chan." Sakura nodded quickly, darting off, and Naruto focused on the old man, taking in his face, the familiar red lines down his cheeks, the horned forehead protector on his head matching the one she'd seen in the photo.

"C'mon." Naruto gently started dragging the man along with her. "Let's go and see the Hokage."

"Right." yeah, yeah he was in shock.

Naruto had to tug him along with her, though thankfully when the lady at the desk of the tower saw Jiraiya she sent them straight up to the office, and when they reached the door Naruto rapped against it with her knuckles, rocking back on the balls of her feet anxiously-and a moment later it opened to reveal a tall man wearing a bear pattered Anbu mask-covered in pink and orange glitter.

Naruto's lips twitched despite her best efforts but she managed to stop it from becoming a full on smile, "We're here to see the Hokage?"

"Come in Naruto-chan." Hiruzen's voice came from inside, and the Anbu stepped aside as Naruto towed Jiraiya into the room-and the Hokage's eyes widened slightly at that before his gaze moved to the Anbu, "You may leave I shall wish to speak to my student and Naruto-chan privately."

Once the Anbu had left Naruto shoved Jiraiya into the chair opposite the old mans desk, and Hiruzen raised an eyebrow, "Jiraya-kun, are you okay?"

"How?" Jiraiya managed, his gaze flicking back to Naruto, almost with a hint of awe in his eyes, "Sensei you told me she just disappeared-"

"And I didn't lie to you Jiraiya-kun. Believe me I was as surprised as you are when she returned with Kakashi after team sevens first mission out of the village."

"What is going on here?"

"I was kidnapped." Naruto gave a small shrug, as if being kidnapped wasn't a big deal, "My mom found my kidnappers with me and rescued me but she couldn't exactly just come back here."

"Your mom?"

"Nohara Rin." Hiruzen gave a rather exhausted smile, "And yes Jiraiya, I am referring to that Nohara Rin. Minato's student, the one who-"

"Who Kakashi-kun told us all he killed?"

"In Kakashi-sensei's defence he believed she was dead."

"What the hell happened?"

"The Kiri shinobi who kidnapped her sealed Isobu the Sanbi into her and put a cursed seal tag on her heart." Naruto shrugged, "She comes back to Konoha and boom, rampaging Bijuu-" she saw Jiraiya's eyes widen.

"That's why she jumped in front of Kakashi's chidori, she realized it was some sort of trap."

"It took her a while to really learn what the trap was." Naruto shrugged, "And she had to worry about raising me on top of all that-she figured out who I was right away and there was a baby blanket with my name on so..."

"So she took you and raised you safely." Jiraiya's expression was one of pure relief, "You were safe and happy all this time?"

"Yep. She even trained me-mom's a perfect Jinchuriki and I will be too-the seal dad used on me was good but the more of Kurama-that's the Kyubi's name, the more of his Chakra I use the weaker it becomes and we don't want it breaking in case someone tries to take him away-"

"Wait." Jiraiya blinked, "You're saying you're not concerned about what the Kyubi would do if it broke-"

"Kurama. His name is Kurama." Naruto interrupted quickly, "He is a sentient being with feelings and a name and you need to respect that." there was fire in her voice, and Jiraiya blinked slowly.

"Are you.. friends, with Kurama?"

"Yes." Naruto nodded, "Took me a while but I got through his tough exterior. He won't leave me willingly."

"I..." Jiraiya shook his head slowly, "That is... Your mother never-"

"She never tried to befriend him. I did, I knew it could be done 'cause mom befriended Isobu."

"That's impressive." Jiraiya's voice was faint, "I may be in shock."

"I can't blame you Jiraiya-kun." Hiruzen chuckled.

"How did... how did this even happen how did you come back to Konoha?"

"My grandpa-well, honorary grandpa, he hired team seven to protect him... mom was away and she was always worried what would happen if people found out about me so I wasn't 'sposed to fight." Naruto shrugged, "That didn't work out so well, I ended up helping Sakura-chan train and I helped them fight off Zabuza-san and Haku-san and then mom came home and she showed up and kicked butt too."

"And then you returned to Konoha." Jiraiya was smiling, "You're alive and home."

"As far as most people know my family name is Nohara and mom is actually my mom."

"It seemed like a safe option." Hiruzen spoke up, "Certain people would likely want to try and use Naruto-chan because of her Jinchuriki status so for now at the very least we're keeping her true identity under wraps."

"How long will that last?" Jiraiya frowned, "Sensei she's the image of her parents."

"Yes, but luckily she's avoided many of the older Jounin until now and it's my hope that if they do realize they'll keep quiet. I'm afraid there's little else I can do without outright announcing the truth, and as much as I love our village I'm all too aware that there may be traitors who would go and tell Minato's old enemies."

"I don't like it."

"Neither do I Jiraiya-kun. But there's little else we can do."

"Hm." Jiraiya glanced at Naruto, "I want to train her."

"I'm certain Naruto-chan would like that."

"I would." Naruto grinned, "I've been doing my own personal training lately but it'd be awesome to train with you."

"Why isn't Kakashi-kun training you?"

"Because he's training Sasuke-kun."

"That your teammate?"

"Yep." Naruto nodded. "We're participating in the Chunin exams and Sasuke needs Kakashi-sensei more than I do. Mom's training Sakura-chan which leaves me to do it on my own-which is fine, honestly I've been working on a bunch of stuff myself anyway."

"Huh." Jiraiya grinned, "I bet there's a lot of stuff I can teach you! You could learn the Rasengan-"

"Know it."

"What?" Jiraiya blinked, "What do you mean you know it how could you know it?"

"Mom managed to figure out the basics behind it 'cause she saw dad use it so much and she helped me figure it out. I'm good with it. And Hirashin-"

"You can use the Hirashin?"

Naruto nodded, biting her thumb and swiping it over her wrist, pulling out a Hirashin Kunai, "Yep. Really well actually. And I'm great with seals."

"I.." Jiraiya blinked slowly, "And your chakra control must be pretty good to be able to do those." he pouted before brightening up, "I could let you sign the Toad summoning contract-"

"Oh Kami yes!" Naruto brightened up hugely, almost bouncing on the balls of her feet, "That would be the best thing ever!"

"Yes!" Jiraiya was grinning, clearly pleased that he'd found something he could help Naruto with.

"And maybe once I've got that down you could help me with my training. Mom said dad was trying to incorporate his wind chakra with the Rasengan-I've been making progress."

"You.." Jiraiya gaped at Naruto, "You're trying to finish the Rasengan?" his expression turned incredibly soft. "You really are like your parents y'know that?"

"Yeah." Naruto nodded, "I know I am. And I'm proud too."

"You're gonna be great kid." Jiraiya's hand landed on the top of Naruto's head, ruffling her hair slightly.

Then there was a knock on the door and Hiruzen chuckled, "I assume that would be Kakashi and Rin." he raised his voice, "Enter." and sure enough the two adults made their way into the room, Kakashi levelling Naruto with a glare.

"Before we talk about anything else Naruto-chan, why was that Anbu guard covered in glitter?"

"What makes you think it has anything to do with me Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto gave him an innocent look.

"Because I've also seen Hyuga Neji running around covered in the same glitter glue mixture. Also it's orange and pink which is yours and Sakura-chan's colors."

"Slander and lies." Naruto looked like butter wouldn't melt, and Jiraiya blinked.

"Wait... the Anbu who let us in was-"

"I did nothing, there's no proof, you can't punish us with no proof."

Kakashi sighed, tilting his head back and staring up at the ceiling as Rin laughed.

"Oh you are so your mothers daughter."

"She really is." Jiraiya agreed after a moment as Hiruzen shook his head.

"I think I shall pretend I heard none of that." he said firmly.

"Probably for the best Hokage-sama." Rin gave a wry smile, "Assume we were just asked to come here because of Jiraiya-sama's return?"

"Yep." Naruto nodded, "He's gonna train me?"

"That's great." Rin's smile was warm and indulgent, "Do you know what you'll do with her Jiraiya-sama, she already knows-"

"The Rasengan and Hirashin. I know." Jiraiya grinned, "So I'm going to teach her the most awesome jutsu of all! I'm going to teach her how to summon toads!"

"I can be liked dad." Naruto added proudly, "Wouldn't that be the coolest thing ever?"

"Of course it would." Rin smiled, "Jiraiya-sama, do you want to come over for dinner? We have a pretty full house but there's space for you. The only one there that doesn't know everything is Karin-chan."

"Who's Karin?"

"An Uzumaki who Naruto met during the exams." Kakashi spoke up, "She's pretty much moved in with them at this point."

"Sure. Sure I'll come to dinner." Jiraiya grinned, "I get to spend time with my goddaughter!"

"And I get to spend time with Ero Sennin!"

"Ero Sennin?" Rin raised an eyebrow, "I mean it's pretty fitting but why?"

"Because he's a pervert and Sakura-chan and I found him spying on the women hotsprings."

"Of course." Kakashi nodded, "Doing research."

"Sensei used to complain about that." Rin shook her head fondly, "Well, as long as you can behave yourself you can have dinner with us every night Jiraiya-sama."

"I'm glad to see that everyone is happy with the plans." Hiruzen spoke up, "Now if you could all get out of my office I should probably try and finish my paperwork." he sighed heavily, "A Kage's greatest enemy."

"Why's it a Kage's greatest enemy?" Naruto blinked, "I wouldn't have a problem with paperwork.

"Ah, but Naruto-chan there's just so much of it, the pile never shrinks and I don't have any free time because of it."

"B-but-" Naruto's brows furrowed, "But Sandaime-sama, you're super strong, couldn't you just summon a couple of shadow clones and order them to dispel if there's anything super important paperwork wise you need to know right away?"

That made Hiruzen blinked slowly, his face going slack as his mouth dropped open and Rin grabbed Naruto's arm.

"I think we should leave now." Rin sounded like she was stifling her laughter-Jiraiya wasn't even trying as he burst out laughing, and as they left the office Naruto's last glimpse of the old man was him slamming his head against his desk, and as the door shut Jiraiya grinned.

"Well Naruto-chan. I think you broke him."
