Author's Note: Hey guys, I know I'm a day late, but I just felt lazy yesterday. Had to work late so I slept most of the day. Even the title of this chapter is lazy, had to stay up late to finish this, though this chapter is super short and I wasn't all there, but next week I will be, so enjoy this one.

Chapter 41: Post Battle Regroup

"This….This is crazy!" Fairy Godmother said walking back and forward.

Quincy, Chad, their friends and all the judges, including Fairy Godmother were still in the ballroom discussing the battle that just took place. Jane was just finished explaining everything that happened this weekend to her mother, who was still having a hard time to process this information.

"My own daughter has superpowers from the comic I once trapped that menacing villain in." She added. "I should've known something like this would've happened."

"It was my fault, I should've left it with you for safekeeping." Stan Lee said.

"Neither of you knew this would've happened." Ben said.

"And it's lucky we got the powers when we did, otherwise, Mordo would've tore this place apart." Mal said.

"We're just lucky no one got hurt." Eliza said.

"Of course if that green maniac hadn't use you for summon those rock things, we could've prevent that." Audrey says glaring at her.

"Hey, I didn't know he was even there, and in case you forgotten, I helped you." Eliza said.

"Yeah, helped us fixing you mistake!" Audrey said.

The two girls were about to fight, but Quincy stopped it in time when he yells…

"Enough!"

Fire was forming around him and his eyes were glowing a fiery orange. That shut the girls up immediately with their eyes wide open.

"There's a guy in a ugly green hood, a crazy pirate ninja and big rock creatures running lose in this city god knows where and you two are trying to get in a cat fight! Whatever beef y'all have needs to be squashed real quick or we're all doomed!"

Audrey and Eliza had sorrow expression on their faces.

"Now shake hands and say you're sorry." Quincy said after the flames disappeared.

But they looked away with sour looks on their faces.

"I said SHAKE AND APOLIGIZE!" Flames came back bigger.

Freaked out, the two girls shook a hands nervously.

"Sorry!" They said to each other quickly.

"Wow, I'm glad I'm not making him mad right now." Ally whispers to Jordan.

"How could you even try to?" Jordan whispered back.

"Ok, so what are we gonna do?" Chad asks.

"We need to figure out what Mordo'a next move is." Mal said.

"And how are we supposed to do that? It's not like we can read his mind." Aziz said.

Eliza clears her throat which made everyone look at her with realization.

"Oh, right." Aziz said.

"Eliza, can you even reach that far?" Jay asks her.

"I can try, I just have to filter out all the other voices." Eliza said. "I can probably look into his memories to get some clues."

"But won't he know that your trying to get in his head?" Mal asks.

"I can be very sneaking, he won't even see, or hear me coming."

"Alright, do your thing." Ben said.

Eliza takes a deep breath and puts her fingers from both hands to her head. She concentrates on the voices from 5 to 15 miles away. Voices were heard, but she manages to quiet most of them already. She then heard a familiar voice and goes in deeper. Suddenly, pictures of memories started to flood in, but she zeroes in on yesterday.

The image shows up as Mordo gets the comic he was released from in his hand.

"What's it for?" CJ asks.

"I'm going to get something and let's just say it's going to need to charge." Mordo said.

Mordo was holding his hand above the comic and says a spell while moving his hand around. An object came out of the comic and it was floating until he grabs it.

"That looks interesting." CJ said.

"It does, doesn't it?" Mordo said.

"Is this what you need to conquer Auradon?"

"Yes." Mordo grins evilly. "And they'll bow to me and my new power, hahahahahahahahaha!"

Eliza came to when she got out of Mordo's head.

"Woah!" Eliza said.

"What did you see?" Ben asked.

"A memory from yesterday." Eliza said. "He wanted to get something and he pulled it out of the comic."

"The comic?!" They all said.

"I thought that was destroyed." Doug said.

"Looks like it survived and it still has magic in it." Eliza said.

"What was it he pulled out?" Fairy Godmother asked.

"I don't know, looked like some kind of gem or an artifact, I didn't get a good look."

"Hmm, whatever it is, it still can't be good." Mal said.

"Did you see anything that'll help us find them?" Ben asks.

"From what I saw, it looked like they were in an abandoned building." Eliza said.

"There shouldn't be too many of those around downtown, I'll start looking up what buildings are closed." Carlos said getting his phone out.

"And while he does that, we need a plan for how to stop him." Ben said.

"I can make another case, but we also need to trap him in that comic again." Fairy Godmother said.

"It might be difficult since he got help this time." Evie said.

"So we'll just distract them then." Herkie said.

"You make it sound like it'll be easy!" Freddie said.

"But we still gotta find them." Mal said.

"Hey, found a few buildings, four, maybe five of them." Carlos said.

"Alright, we should split into teams and scope the buildings out." Ben said.

"Aye aye, captain." Chad said.

Ben chuckles at that.

"Alright, while Fairy Godmother gets everything ready, let's go send Mordo back where he came from." Ben said.

Author's Note: So that was the end of that chapter, they got a plan, a certain one time is in play on Mordo's side and abandoned buildings to check out. How will this play out? Next out next week and Have a Wicked Day!
