A heartbeat...

A pulse of the soul...

A small breath.

A young child monster's soul first instinct is to latch onto their parent's magic, to their soul. To feel their comfort, to feel safe, to feel their love. In return, the parent's magic and soul will do anything to keep their soulings safe. Feeding it, protecting it.

A heartbeat...

A pulse of the soul...

A small breath.

Sans and Papyrus had layed their new found son between them as they layed in the car bed. Their magic enveloping the child in a protective sheen. In any other situation, it would be the mother who would have sat between them as she held her newborn closer to her own soul. But for now, with their son and his underdeveloped soul, this was all they could do. Slowly letting the sheen of magic absorb into the small body.

A heartbeat...

A pulse of the soul...

A small breath.

The moment the child's health finally started to rise, the unthinkable happened. The magical sheen shattered. The house that was once silence was then filled with the screaming anguish of their son. "shit!"

"SANS WHAT HAPPENED!?"

"i don't know!" The brothers continued to panic as the young boy continued to scream. In Jasper's hysteria, he had tried to flee as he scrambled to jump out from the bed. Except Sans managed to get a hold of him, trying his best not to harm him. As he struggled to hold him, Papyrus was doing all he could to heal the child's soul. For the small soul was threatening to shatter right before their eyes. "no no no no no no- paps!"

"I'M TRYING!" And try he did. Jasper's soul stopped shattering and a single HP returned. With one final wail all the magic they had poured into the small boy pulsed out in a great shockwave that shook their very foundation.

A heartbeat, a soul pulse and a small ragged breath later, the shuddering of their home stopped. Hours had past since the whole ordeal and both brothers were wearing thin. Sans continued to comfort the small weeping child as Papyrus continued to heal his low health. None of them spoked as they were too afraid to scare the child. But Sans seeing how much his brother was struggling to keep up his magic, couldn't afford to let it continue. He had to do something, say anything before both Papyrus and the young boy collapse without any progress having been made. "...heya kid. f-feeling better?" At first Jasper didn't say anything and Sans assumed he didn't hear him at first. But before he could repeat himself, the young boy spoked. In a voice that both wavered and strained.

"You... You promised."

"what was that?"

"You promised... You promised!" Papyrus faltered for a second in his healing as the child gripped tighten on Sans shirt. Jasper looked up at Sans with a face filled with betrayal.

"promise? i...i don-"

"You promised! You said you wouldn't help my soul until we found Bonbon! You promised and you broke it!"

"Jasper i-"

"You promised and you broke it! I don't want to be fixed! Not without her! You knew this and you still-"

"Jasper!" Getting the boy's attention, Sans lowered his voice again. "i didn't make that promise. that moment we picked you up near the barrier is the first time we ever met." Jasper Daniel let those words sink in, his mind racing through his memories as he tried figuring out what had happened.

"WE WERE CHASING BONBON WHEN SOMETHING TOOK A HOLD OF HER AND PULLED HER AWAY TOWARDS THE BARRIER! NEXT THING WE KNEW, SHE SLIPPED FROM OUR GRASP AND THEN YOU APPEARED."

"Bonbon... was here..." Which could only mean that Jasper had did it. He had traveled across the parallel timeline. Looking away from the brothers, he could see the numerous spots of glitches that had spread throughout. The sound of chaos coming from outside as the townspeople avoided them. This was Bonbon's deteriorating timeline. He did it... after everything he did it and he still wasn't with his sister. Looking at the brothers who housed his sister, all he could see and hear was her soul shattering again and again. The brothers that failed to protect his sister, the brothers that let Bonbon feel pain over and over again.

Phantom pain he could still feel dance around his skin.

Before he crossed over, at the moment his sister was ripped away from his arms felt the pain she felt. Pain he wished she never felt. Pain he willed to take away from her. Pain that marked her body now etched into his own flesh. All of this because they had failed her.

He had failed her. Failed to protect her.

No matter what he tried to do, how hard Jasper tried, how much determination he had... how much hope he had. "It never works... it's never going to work... is it?"

"Jasper?" Fear spiked inside Sans's soul as he heard the small defeated voice coming out of the boy. A fear that grew when it looked as if Papyrus was struggling to heal the child's HP again.

"I'm never going- I'm never going to find her. I'm just going to keep failing...I'm never..."

"shh shh shh shh, it's okay kid. it's gonna be okay. don't cry."

"Why am I- w-why am I c-crying... i-i don't w-want to. I know... I know crying is not...it won't h-help...I c-can't stop. W-what's wrong with me-" The quiver of his voice, the words that fell from his lips, the despair that settled around him... All of it felt... familiar.

"Sans!" Papyrus harshly wispered, "His HP Is Dropping!"

"common squirt, there's nothing wrong with ya."

"E-verything is wrong with me. Everything everything!"

"shhh, shhh. Jasper calm down, it's gonna be okay."

Trapped

Alone

The sound of live wire crackling as it echoed through the empty corridors.

Cold and empty the tears of the shorter skeleton could be heard.

"OH, BROTHER, GLOW YOUR EYES! THAT'LL MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER!"

His brother's voice echoed through his skull of a time that was long forgotten. Gently taking hold of his son's face between his hands, he looked into those large tearful eyesockets. The white orbs, the light of magic that's in his brother's, in himself and even in Bonbon. How he failed to notice it when she was with him was beyond him. But seeing them now, filled with so much despair, he knew what he had to do. "Jasper... can you... glow your eyes?"

"W-what?"

"c'mon kid, glow your eyes. i bet it'll make ya feel better." Jasper stared for a moment before focusing. But instead of glowing, his eyes grew dimmer.

"I-I... I can't. It's not... it's not working..."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S NOT WORKING! JUST GLOW YOUR EYES!" Papyrus confused by his brother's claim, took hold of Sans's shoulder. Feeling his bones quake underneath the thin course green fabric.

" 'm trying and it's not working! i'm trying and it's not..."

"I can't... I can't glow anymore..."

"shhh shhh, Jasper calm down. you know you can-"

"I can't even glow anymore! That's how broken I am now!"

"Jasper don't say that, you're not broken!"

"How can you say that! Just look at me!" The boy continued to weep in his hands as his soul shined through. A wavering small soul that looked so fragile and strong at the same time. Red, blue and orange swirled frantically around its tiny vessel. It amazed him how something so frightening can still look so beautiful to him. Tearing his gaze away from the troubled soul, he looked back at those weeping eyes.

"i am looking at ya kid. and do you wanna know what i see?" Sans wiped away the small boys tears. "i see a strong brave little kid who traveled across timelines for his sister. a little boy with patience with determination... filled with so much hope. all this and i barely know ya. which you can thank your sister for. she always sounded so proud of ya when she talked about you. like you were her own personal hero." Jasper's eye lights dimly came back. "i see... i see my son and i know ya can glow. so, why don't ya show us how amazing ya can be. prove to us that the little munchkin was right." Even if the glow wasn't strong, it was the brightest thing Sans has ever seen. For Jasper's eyes glew both a light shade of blue and orange. "see... i knew ya could it."

With a small wet laugh, Jasper smiled sadly at them before softly falling back to sleep. Once his head fell down upon the pillow, Papyrus let out a shaky sigh. "I... I Thought- I Almost..."

"paps?"

"For A Moment, I Thought I Almost Lost It. I Couldn't Maintain It A-And... The Soul ..." His voice wavered as he stared at his gloved hands. "His... Soul..It Was Almost As If It Was Fighting Back And It Took Everything I Had To Keep It From Getting It Any Lower A-And Then He Said Those Things And I Started To Remember From That Time That We Were...And You Were And... And...You Also Said-"

"bro relax! let's not think about that."

"Sorry."

"why are you apologizing, you're the one healing him. i...i couldn't do anything."

"WHAT!?" As quickly as he screamed, both brothers started shushing each other, afraid that they would wake the sleeping child. Noticing that he didn't stir, they let out a quiet sigh. "Sans!" Papyrus whispered, "Of Course You Helped! If You Had Not Calmed Him Down Then I would Still Be Struggling To Heal Him!"

"...heh, thanks bro." even if all i did was repeat what you said to me long time ago. Sans brushed his phalange softly against the young boys cheeks, noticing the small tear drops that continued to fall. In the silence of the room, Sans could feel the wait of exhaustion weighing over his shoulders. What felt like weeks was compacted in just a day. But so many things happened in such a short span of time that he couldn't believe it. What started as a search for their tiny roommate turned into a huge chaotic mess throughout the Underground, the discovery of their tiny roommate's identity and now the arrival of Jasper Daniel. To think his day would end with him watching over his own underdeveloped child as he wept.

To not know what has become of his precious little munchkin.

"Sans."

"yeah bro?"

"Do You Mind If You Could Watch Over Him?"

"...what do you mean?"

"I... I'm Going To Step Out For A Bit." By how nervous and guilty he looked, Sans could tell that it wasn't going to be just a minute to get a breather kind of situation.

"paps?"

"I'm Going To Visit Asgore's Place For A Bit."

"wait paps, why are ya going there for?"

"I Need To Find Bonbon And Before You Say It, I Know That He Needs Us. But He Needs Her More. When I Was Healing His Soul, I Heard It. I Heard It Cry For Her." He wasn't sure if it was the fatigue but he never would have imagine his brother would do this. To leave someone that might need his help. What if the young boy's HP started to drop again? Sans wouldn't know what to do, for his healing ability wasn't even close to what his brother could do. If Jasper really needed them to find Bonbon then it should be him. Especially with how much magic Papyrus just spent. The very thought of being left alone with that kind of responsibility hovering him left his bones rattling. "Sans..."

"but i... i can't take care of him! what if he wakes up and i don't have enough magic to heal him!? i can't...i-"

"You Can Brother! I Know You Can And Do You Want To Know Why?" Papyrus hand rested on Sans's shoulder, settling his bones. "Because I Believe In You. Just How You Always Believed In Me."

"b-but...why me?"

"There Was Something Else I Found Out As I Healed Him. If I Stayed, I Know That I Would Be Able To Take Care Of Him And Keep Him Safe Because I Know I Am Great. But... But I... That's Not What He Needs. What He Needs Right Now Is Someone Like You." Sans was confused, why would the kid need him? When his brother was so much better suited for it. "I Know I'm Not All That Smart, Not Like How You Are. If He Awakens Then You'll Understand. So I'll Go And I Will Find Out What Happened To Bonbon."

Even though his bones were shaking, Papyrus stood tall as he walked out. Sans looked out the window, his eyes followed his brother make his way through the growing chaos. "The place is really hitting the fan huh." Sans turned around and saw Flowey by the corner.

"you... what are-"

"Don't know why, but I had to see if that annoying girl was okay. There's just something about her that I can't shake off. Like an annoying stray you can't shake off But I see that you bone heads really did lose her."

"we didn't-"

"Yeah yeah, save your excuses for someone who cares." Flowey sighed heavily and looked at the young boy sleeping form. A sleep so deep that Flowey knew that he wasn't getting up anytime soon. From his many run throughs he had noticed the small times Sans would go through his mini comas. The way he slept as if he was really just a pile of bones. "Look here trash bag this timeline is going down the drain fast and by the way that kid was looking around, he probably knows it too." Too many things were happening. To many things to worry about and Sans had no idea how to process all of it. "Don't need you shutting down just yet. Why don't you make yourself useful and see what's really happening in that pathetic excuse of a lab of yours."

"and leave the kid with you? i don't think so."

"I don't care for the kid's freaky soul so why would I do anything to him!? Just do what you can to keep all of us from collapsing and I'll call you if the new brat wakes up."

Sans didn't like it. The thought of leaving his defenceless child with a murdering plant didn't sit well with him. But seeing how this whole time he was doing just that with Bonbon, he didn't have room to say otherwise. With a heavy soul, he nodded at the flower. "take care of him for me...please..."

"It's not like I have anything better to do. Besides the brat might never let me hear the end of it." Resiging, he made his way towards the back of the house. A secret room that held a peculiar computer that should show him what was happening to the current timeline.

"OH MY GOD! ARE YOU ALL RIGHT!?" Papyrus said in surprise while hovering over a glitched spot. His gloved hand gripped onto the stripped shirt of a young monster who carried a small basket of blue bell flowers between his teeth.

"Mijer Papyruh! Oo, ank for say-ing me! I ought I wa going o fall!"

"YOU'RE QUIET WELCOME! EVEN IF I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU JUST SAID." Putting down the young monster down in a safer spot, he could feel his bones rattling with fatigue.

"Wow Mister! Are all those bones yours!" All around the area of Snowdin were numerous floating bones catching different monsters from falling into the numerous glitches that littered around.

"YES! I MEAN I COULDN'T J-"

"Oh my god! You're so cool!"

"THANK YOU! AS MUCH AS I WISH I COULD STAY AND TALK, THERE IS SOMEWHERE I HAVE TO BE."

"Okay! Good luck Mister Papyrus! I'm just gonna drop these off at your place for Bo-" The heroric giant didn't have time to listen. For the further he left Snowdin, the more he saw monsters in need. There were surely more monster who are in danger and as a Guard-in-training, he had a moral obligation to help his fellow Guardsmen.

But he choose not to. Even if he couldn't turn a blind eye towards those infront of him, he couldn't go out and search for those in need of help. For the only thing in his mind right now are the small children that turned his life upside down. Magic straining, he picked up the pace and launched himself through the Underground. "DON'T WORRY MY LITTLE ONES. FOR I'M THE GREAT PAPYRUS AND I'LL BECOME YOUR HERO! JUST WAIT FOR ME!"

In another timeline, Papyrus stood on the edge of the Underground while frantically calling out Jasper's name in hopes of hearing him. "JASPER!? JASPER DANIELS! PLEASE ANSWER ME! PLEASE!" Panic snared at his soul for his tiny son. He wished Sans was doing better in the current situation, but he wasn't. Kneeled to the ground, he was crying his soul out as he held Jasper's sister. The new commer's soul was blocked off which didn't help calm there's. Their souls weaped at the loss of their son. They couldn't save him. After everything, they let him slip through their fingers.

Bonbon snuggled in the arms of the crying blue jacket skeleton, she looked back and forth at the brothers. Seeing them so distraught stirred something inside her. She called out their names numerous times, but they wouldn't listen to her. During her time in the Underground, she never once saw them like this. Almost as if they lost someone they cared for. She hated seeing her friends so sad that soon something burst inside her.

"Bonbon, I know you don't want to use magic. But it's okay, who cares if your not good at it because I am here to be good at it for the both of us! So let it out whenever you want!"

Squirming out of Sans embrace, she packed up her headphones and sippy cup back into the bookbag. Standing in between both skeletons, she held out her hands and let the magic inside her flow through her fingertips. Bonbon could never managed to make her magic form into anything without her brother near by to help. So this time, she hoped that if she believed he was near, she would be able to do it. Eye's glowing bright, she screamed out with all her might, "Fuwafuwa no hone!"

Cotton like fluff magic floated out of the ground around the brothers. Twinkle of blue and orange lights floated along the cotton like magic. For a moment, the brothers stopped as they watched in wonder of the strange magic around them. Soon the cotton gathered together beside each of them forming a large fluffy bone. Eyesockets wide, they both stared at the large bones infront of them. Bafeled at what was happening, for a moment they forgot their grief. The bone shaped cottons just stood there which was not what they were supposed to do, which Bonbon let out a small annoying sigh. Walking towards Sans, she pushed the cushiny bone at him. "Gaaahhhhh!" She screamed before the bone puffed away. Annoyed, she ran towards the bone near Papyrus. Picking it up she repeatedly hit the large frozen skeleton with it until it too puffed away.

"...uh..."

"...EH?"

"Gaaaahhhh! Magic is too hard! How does brother do it! He could always make his magic do the coolest tricks." Bonbon really wanted to snap Sans and Papyrus out of their crises. She also really didn't like the look they gave her too as if they were strangers. At least for now they had stopped crying. Having had her special headphones earlier helped her concentrate a little more. So she thought back to what they had said earlier. "Time for some epic puzzle solving!" Grabbing a piece of paper and pencil from inside the bookbag, she kneeled down on the ground and started drawing. "1st, me and Jasper were in a spooky dark place. 2nd we saw Mr. Goopy Skeleton. 3rd Jasper got all sad when we disappeared. Then...hmmmm."

When her brother was trying to hold on to her, he was using his magic on her. She felt all warm happy even though she felt sad that her brother was crying. Looking at her hands, she could still faintly feel her brothers magic. Pulling up her sleeve she found that she didn't have any of her scars. "Waaaaa!" She looked everywhere and found that she didn't have a single one left. "Jasper! But whyyyy, they were so cool!" Letting out another little huff, she went back to her drawing. "4th, no fun Jasper took my scars. 5th, I saw Sans and Papy again. Hmmmm and then... oh! I saw big brothers bookbag and then..."

Bonbon thought and thought. Sticking out her tongue she rummaged through her brain. "Jasper's bookbag... Sans and Papyrus called me Jasper... not Bonbon...hmmmm." She stared at both of the confused skeletons. Something inside her head started to click. "Stare~" Getting up from the ground, she pointed at them. "Quick, what's the first present I gave you guys." They didn't respond. "Where did I take my first nap!? What did I ate for breakfast? Where did I hide the sticky note sock?!" They couldn't answer. "Hmmm..." Both of the brothers looked at each other, they wanted to tell her that they have never met her before. That they weren't the Sans and Papyrus they knew. That she in fact came from a different timeline. Seeing her having trouble figuring it out, they wanted to tell her but she looked at them again. "Does Jasper like to take naps?"

"...heh, are ya kidding? the kid doesn't know what taking a break means."

"EVEN THOUGH I AM QUIET PROUD OF HIS NONLAZY ATTITUDE, A YOUNG BOY SHOULD ALWAYS PASE THEMSELVES AS TO NOT WEAR THEMSELVES OUT."

"Hmmmm...they know Jasper but not me?" Bonbon asked herself. "What's his full name?" She asked as she turned to them.

"Jasper Daniels." "THE AMAZING JASPER DANIELS!"

With wide eyes, Bonbon stared at the brothers. She slapped her cheeks in shock as realization hit her, "Oh my god! My Sans and Papy brains got switched with Jasper's skelly bros!" Before they could correct her, she went back into the bookbag and retook out the headphones. "Phew! I used too much brain power." Headphones placed on her head, she looked at the brothers. "All I need to do is get Jasper back! He can help fix you two. Okay! Time for some floaty heart magic!" She patted her chest as she tried pulling out her soul. But nothing came out. Again and again she tried with no luck. She looked at the brothers, giving them large puppy eyes. "Help please?"

Papyrus walked towards her and kneeled infront of her. "I AM NOT QUITE SURE WHAT'S GOING ON. BUT IF THIS WOULD HELP BRING BACK JASPER, THEN I'LL ASSIST YOU HOWEVER I CAN." Papyrus gently pulled out her soul. What Sans and Papyrus saw before them was nothing alike the soul from their missing son. For a split second they believed if the young girl's soul was exposed, they would feel that kindred connection they had with Jasper. Both Bonbon and Jasper were twins but what they saw, their souls didn't reflect that. More so the reason for it was that something was covering hers. With her soul out, she looked at both brothers and told them not to catch her before falling onto the ground. Arms and legs spread out she let her eyeballs fade out leaving bright white orbs floating in her eyesockets. Blinking a couple of times, she opened her mouth.

"JASPER!JASPER DANIELS! OH BIG BROTHER! IT'S ME! BONBON! Hee hee! CAN YOU HEAR ME?" At this point, both brother should just become statues for the small girl was nothing like her brother. Constantly baffling them with her antics. Assuming that Bonbon didn't get anything from her attempts, she started massaging her chubby cheeks. "Okay! Time to amp up the magic!" Eye lights glowing a bright blue and orange hue, she let her magic dance across her body. Slowly her skin became more translucent as her body glowed. "Gaaahhh, still can't hear him." Dissipating her glowing skin completely left her in just her bare bones.

"... well would you look at that? guess she's-"

"SANS!" Papyrus warned.

"a bone-afide skeleton after all." Before Papyrus could express his distaste, Bonbon's giggles caught them off guard.

"Sans, no puns. I'm trying to make a 'bone' call with my brother using my soul." Clearing her throat, she called out Jasper's name once more. Both Sans and Papyrus found themselves suprised that they weren't pancking like they were before. Even without the same connection to the young girl soul as they had with Jasper, they still felt some kinship towards her. Be it those small adorable eyes that resembled Papyrus's or that large smile filled with so much happiness that Sans's own couldn't be compare. Both brothers sat near the young girl, keeping watch of her silly antics.

Her voice carried by her soul, following the tether that connected her to her brother, to her other half. Traveling across the parallel time-line, she reached the young boy in his deep slumber. "Big brother! I fooooound youuuuu! Oh no, you crashed... now what should I do? Oh I know! I'll sing you a song! Ahem..." Without her knowledge, her soul settled in-beat with her other half. Resonating into a familiar pattern.

Both Sans and Papyrus had gotten up from their seat and where now a few inches away from the little girl, starring down as she sang. "SANS..."

"yeah bro?"

"WHAT IS SHE SINGING?"

"i'm not sure... it sounds like font ...but older. heh, next thing we know she might tell us that she's just jumbling different words together."

"SHE'S... DIFFERENT. BUT NOT IN A BAD WAY, I MEAN-"

"i know what you mean. she gives off this good feel... almost as if saying that everything is going to be okay. i can see why the little squirt wanted to find her so bad."

"IF I HAD A YOUNGER SIBLING LIKE HER I WOULD BE WORRYING MYSELF HALF TO DEATH IF I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE SHE WAS!" This caused Sans to laugh out loud. "SERIOUSLY! SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE'S THE TYPE TO SLEEP IN RANDOM PLACES WITHOUT CARING WHAT'S AROUND HER! AT LEAST YOU HAVE THE DECENCY TO BE A LIGHTSLEEPER!"

"heh heh heh, i get what you mean. she seems like a hand full. guess that's why her brother is like that. something as pure as her, you gotta keep it close and protect it." They stayed silent for awhile, lost in the view of her covered soul. "they really are each other's half..."

"JUST LIKE US! FOR I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT YOU."

"same here..."

In the crumbling chaotic timeline, Flowey in his flowerpot sat near the comatose child. No matter how much he poked and prodded the kid, he didn't get a reaction from him. It amazed him to see someone who looked exactly like Bonbon. Even though Bonbon was a deep sleeper, she still reacted. Giggling or smiling as she mumbled in her random naps. But the kid infront of him looked too much that of a soulless human body. Through out the different timelines he had played with, there was a couple of time where he saw Sans in a familiar state.

In the darkest recesses of the reset, lied a couple of lost beings. The once-living filled with the darkness and madness the reset could create. Flowey recalled Sans calling it the void once. Which seems perfect if anyone asked him. In the void, he once met someone. But no matter how much he tried to remember he couldn't figure out who it was . He did remember all the things the figure had said to him. One of them being the cause of Sans's mini comas. Apparently eye glowing is essential to a skeletons well being. From what he saw earlier, the kid infront of him had problems with that.

There was something wrong with both of the twins. Disregarding the obvious fake soul of Bonbon's, he could assume their souls are in the same state. The undeveloped chaotic soul he saw Jasper pulled out earlier. When he was at Alphys's lab during the time she was creating him, he found some old journals. During the time the Underground was first sealed off, many monsters had lost there lives in both the war and in the despair of being trapped. Which left many young monsters without their parents. They developed mana-loss, the ever so creative Asgore came up with that name. He saw it couple of times with Bonbon, which freaked him out.

Papyrus, Sans, Undyne, most of Bonbon's friends saw it when it happened. A small form of it, when Bonbon didn't hear what they had said or when she didn't say anything in response. But no one saw it as bad as Flowey did. During their adventure, there were times Bonbon just stood there. Staring at nothing with a blank stare. Her mind completely lost. The image still scared him, for it felt as if the tiny girl would have sucked his soul into her own, if he had one. She resembled to one of those creepy haunted dolls humans were a fan of.

In the books, they called that mana-loss form as Stillness. From what he saw the interaction with the brothers and the kid infront of him, his type of mana-loss is more drastic. Asgore had called it Abyss. Where the child would lose their sense of sight, their hearing, their touch the ability to perseve anything around them. Almost as if they were falling down an abyss. Seeing the kid laying so still on the bed, he almost felt sorry for him. Not only is the lack of glowing causes him to have emotional troubles for being a skeleton monster but he also has to fight mana-loss.

Then out of the blue, the boy stirred and his soul appeared. The Soul gently spinned above his body as it rang. A small tune that twinkle as it spunned, mimicking an old music box. A heartbeat... a pulse of the soul... a small breath. Jasper's eyelids slowly opened and a small glow shone through.

Dotshlai dotshmi aishklai fanDon is blandisBotshil botstan dushin eitAndis klandis...

"What?" Jasper looked to his right where the flower stood. Blinking slowly as he took in the image of the fact the flower was inside a flower pot.

"Bon...bon..." smiling to himself he let his soul sink back into his chest. Groggily sitting up, he ruffled his hair and looked away from the flower. "Hey Bonbon..."

"Oh big brother! You're awake!"

"More or less..."

"You feel... happy and fuzzy! Hee hee!"

"I'm happy that you finally reached out to me. I was starting to think I was the only one trying."

"Oh no! I'm sorry! I...I get distracted."

"I know."

"Like a lot. Like a lot a lot."

"Hahaha, I know. It's okay. I'm happy now."

"Sorry."

"For what?"

"I disappeared and left you again."

"...not your fault." Jasper hugged his knees, looking to the side and seeing the confused look on the flower's face. He mouthed the word Bonbon and he could tell Flowey knew. Memory sharing could be handy in times like this or he would have forgotten why he wasn't putting his guard up being close to the murderous flower. "Hey Bonbon?"

"Yep!?"

"How are those bone brothers?" He didn't mean to leave them the way he did. Feeling guilty especially with how much they seemed to care for him.

"Ooohhh, hee hee hee. They were all crazy and freaking out but right now they're just staring at me." She giggled lightly, "they make a lot of faces at me. Sans! Papy! Jasper says hi!... Oh, that made them happy."

"Yeah, I got stuck with a bunch ofworry-warts. But yours aren't any better."

"What do you mean? My Papy and Sans are super cuddly!"

"Exactly. Nevermind, I'm here with your friend Flowey by the way."

"Eeeeee! Tell him I said Hi!"

"She says hi." Flowey sneered and looked away.

"Like I care!"

"He says hi."

"That doesn't sound like him."

"Okay, he said he doesn't care."

"Awwww, I miss him too!" Enjoying the shatter, Jasper looked around the room. From just were he sat he could see that Bonbon's timeline was bad. In the rate it's spreading, soon there would be no escaping the glitches. His wasn't filled with glitches, nothing compared to the one he was in. He wondered if Bonbon and himself could fix it. If their sudden appearance was the cause of it all. Thinking more about it, he guessed if that's the reason he couldn't reach his sister. If he was being too selfish. Only caring about saving his sister and returning home, all the while ignoring a whole Underground imprisoning countless monsters. "Bonbon?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you... Do you want to find me?"

"Yes! Then we can have fun together and see everything and play with everyone too!"

Jasper feeling resolved, he smiled to himself. Hoping off the bed, he grabbed the flower pot (much to the displeasure of a certain flower) and placed it ontop of his head. "Okay Bonbon! As the amazing Jasper Daniels, you will join me in fixing this glitchy mess. Let's find each other, help out the monsters and basically save the Underground! Woohoo!" He cheered.

"Hee hee hee, I don't get it but okay! Papy! Sans! Let's go save the Underground!"

"Oh wait, Bonbon have you heard of those voices recently? I haven't heard them since we switched."

"Nice and mean lady? No. Wait we switched? Hee hee hee wasn't it Papy and Sans's brains that got switched?"

Ignoring the last bit, Jasper with a reluctant Flowey and Bonbon with two confused skele-brothers, both groups started their search on how to reunite again. While they planned, Papyrus from the glitchy timeline grew closer to the furthest reaches of the Underground and Sans found more then he bargain for regarding the split timeline. The timelines in shambles, the disembodied spirits of both Frisks and Charas joined inside the void. Battling with two sets of memories, they stood before a looming entity. [Things are coming to an end. Does it not excite you?]

Far back in space and time, past multiple universes, Mama Frisk was caught between a rock and a hard place. "Frisk... i'm sorry. i couldn't protect you..." You braced yourself, waiting for the monster infront of you to do the first move. At the sound of a single orange tear drop hitting the floor, numerous bones were launched at the cell room. Metal bars crashed around you in the chaos of the destruction. Countless bones were sent along with one final blast of a blaster before the tall skeleton relented. In the rubble of the remains of the small shed, hidden by the dust you made your escape into the snow. You didn't get far before your assailant reappeared infront of you. "are you ready to have a bad time?" He gritted through his teeth. Hands glowing he launched you away until you hit your back against the Christmas lighted house. Not giving you time, he launched another blast. Body singed, you struggled through the blast and rolled away. The orange sweater clad skeleton walked towards you, his hands in his pockets as his left eyesocket flared a bright orange. "you humans are really something, ya know? couldn't let the poor thing stay in her little cell? ya just had to kill it, didn't ya? guess you can't judge one human and hope everyone else would be the same."

Feeling your hand empty, you looked back and found your hammer hidden beneath the rubble. Seeing where your attention was, he pulled up a wall of bones infront of the weapon which prevented you from getting it. "Hard way it is then." Getting up from the ground, the cold winter winds blew against your old red cloak. At the sound of the wind hitting the house, you launched yourself forward. Rows after rows of bones came after you as you weaved through them. Getting closer, he launched a set of Gaster blasters. Run, jump , run , jump. Before you could get any closer, he sent out blue bones. Taking one final leap you jumped high into the air using the side of the house to amplify your height. In the air, numerous platform bones came after you. Weaving through them as you descended you grew closer to him. In your landing, he stumbled back which you took your chance. Swiping your legs across his, he tumbled back. Before you could grab him, he shortcutted behind you. Quickly back kicking him caught him by surprised. Stumbling back, he shortcutted once more behind you and you again tried the same move. Instead of hitting him though, he caught your leg which you used and spunned your body around. Flipping both of you onto the ground, you once more tried to grab him, but he slipped behind you. Spinning faster then he could react you got up and launched out numerous small series of punches.

Starting to look more worried then the rage he was in, he failed to block all the moves. A small punch landing at his sternum caused him to double over which you used to side kick him onto the ground. Using the kick to momentum your body, you spunned your body and pinned him against the snowy ground before he could attack you once more. "Hey there Stretch. Why don't we calm down for a bit." Leaning closer to the side of his face you whispered out. "Think you could do that for me? Honey bone." Stretch blushed a bright orange at your words. Getting more flustered at how close your body was as he continued to struggle against your hold. "I didn't kill your friend. Knowing her, you know this isn't the first time she's done this." As the adrenaline settled he finally took the chance to see you. Body bruised singed and battered, you continued to straddle on top of him hands pinned down. His soul pulsed once then pulsed twice, reaching your own. His eyesockets widen in shock as something clicked inside him. The person in front of him, the human who appeared out of nowhere... the one he attacked was his soulmate.

Someone like him, someone who was too weak to protect anyone. Who couldn't change anything had a soulmate. A soulmate that he attacked and bruised. Who he could have killed. Guilt rang through him, giving his bone a small rattle. It would be just like him, to finally meet his soulmate in such a tragic matter. To be given something so special and to end up killing it before knowing how special it could have been. He tried to say anything, figure out a way to apologize but then someone came. "PAPY?!"

"Sans wait!" Stretch screamed but it was too late.

"HUMAN, GET OFF OF MY BROTHER!" Turning your soul blue, the short, blue bandanna wearing skeleton launched you into the air. Struggling through the magic, you knew what he must be going through. Seeing the shambles of the shed with the dead corpse of his friend underneath the rubble with the assumed murder on top of his brother. Looking down from above, you watched as large globs of light blue tears fell from his eyesockets. You crashlanded into their lives and caused such an uproar. Just like old time you suppose.

So much for a speed through. Was what you thought as you readied yourself for round 2. From the height you were currently at, you couldn't hear much as Stretch ran to his older brother. I know you don't like it, but Blue, I can not say your by far the most adorable. Stretch looked frantic as he tried to explain something to him. Whatever he said caused Blue to look at the magic that flowed from his outstretched arms. A click and a snap of a string, you felt the 4th pang in your soul. In shock and what seemed like realization, Blue released his magic and his hold on your soul. Falling fast, you brace yourself for the impact. Instead of the snowy ground, you landed in Stretches arms. "h-hey... are y-you okay?" You quickly moved away from him causing him to look like a kicked puppy. You couldn't afford to feel anything, to think anything at the moment. With your soul out in front of them would only become more problematic.

Looking away from him, you drew closer to Blue. Even though he still looked shock and nervous, his skull was a bright blue. Inferring that he must of felt your words of calling him adorable. "Put it back, Blue."

"I-I... HELLO HUMAN! I M-MEAN... I'M SO SORRY FOR... I DIDN'T KNOW-"

"Put it back, now."

"RIGHT!" He snapped his phalanges and your soul floated gently back into your chest. Without another word, you walked away from them. You didn't have enough energy to run at the moment as your soul started to rewind the more serious of the damages on your body. If the battles kept continuing like it's been going, you might need to refrain from using this skill. "WAIT! HUMAN...FRISK!" Hearing your name caused you to pause.

"F-frisk?!"

"I DIDN'T MEAN IT BUT WHEN YOUR SOUL WAS OUT, I SAW YOUR NAME!" You turned around to tell him if he could forget everything that happened. That you couldn't afford to waste anytime. But then suddenly you were wrapped in a warm hug. Your face smothered in orange fabric, the arm around your back and a hand on the back of your head. Surprised by the sudden action you stayed still as his body started to shake.

"Frisk? Frisk... i thought i lost you again. but you're here...and you're alive!" His voice quivered as his hug tighten you closer to him. Burying his skull near your neck, he started talking again. "i don't know how it happened. but i'm so glad y-your alive. to think that this whole time we... we were soulmates! guess that's why sans and i couldn't leave you alone. our souls knew it! even when we didn't!"

"honey, stay. stay with me. i know i'm a jealous skeleton and only want you to myself. i hate it how i get when i see the others with you. but please stay. p-please..."

You pushed him away, ignoring the hurt on his face as you stumbled to stay standing. The memories in your soul pestering you once more. "FRISK? DON'T YOU REMEMBER US? ALL THE TIMES WE SPENT TOGETHER? OR THE TIMES WE HELPED STOP YOU FROM HURTING OTHERS OR YOURSELF?" You stayed silent while backing away from him. "DON'T WORRY, FOR I AM THE MAGNIFICENT SANS! I'LL HELP YOU!"

"OH NO DON'T CRY! DEAR MAIDEN I PROMISE WHATEVER IT IS, IT'S GOING TO BE OKAY. STAY BY MY SIDE AND I'M SURE I CAN HELP YOU IN ANYWAY YOU NEED!"

"Thanks Blue. But I think you guys have the wrong idea. I'm not the Frisk you know."

"OF COURSE! YOU HAVE WAY MORE COLOR AND YOUR VOICE IS MUCH MORE PLEASING! N-NOT THAT I DID'NT LIKE YOUR VOICE BEFORE JUST THAT IT WAS...SPOOKY?"

"not sure what's with the whole get up, but i'm diggin the whole non-corpsey vibe." You could tell that Stretch was trying to act normal, but he must still feel guilty for trying to kill you. You kept telling yourself you couldn't get yourself involved. But those past memories kept haunting you, and the look of betrayal on Red's and Edge's face as you left. It would seem that you will always leave all of them with that same expression. With a defeated sigh, you walked towards Blue. Laying your hand on top of his skull, you patted him a couple of times before giving his cheeks a squeeze.

"Blue, I'm not the Frisk you know and I'm not the reincarnation or whatever of the Souless Frisk you know. But you could call me Mama Frisk if you wish," you continued squeezing his cheeks before stopping. "Gggggod you're such a cutie!" Patting his face away, you left him and directed your attention towards the the taller of the two. As you tried to reach up at him with your hand, he momentarily flinched. Expecting a slap, he shivered as he felt your warm hand lovingly caressed the side of his face. He looked so sweet even in his confused state, "Stretch, I'm not mad. I've been through worse. I can't blame you for acting the way you did." His hand layed on top of yours, keeping your hand firmly on his face. "Got a say, you were very cool back there." Dropping your hand, you made your way towards your forgotten hammer.

"I'M CONFUSED! IF YOU'RE NOT THE FRISK WE KNOW. THEN HOW DID YOU GET HERE? HOW COULD THERE BE TWO OF YOU...OR U-USED TO BE TWO..." Dusting off your hammer, you could hear his soft sniffling.

"Your ghost friend is going to be okay. Once I leave, she'll be back safe and sound."

"LEAVE!?"

"you're... leaving? is it bec- i'm sor-"

"I'm not mad, I just have pressing matter to attend to."

"THEN LET US HELP! THREE HEADS ARE BETTER THEN ONE! AND... AND THEN YOU CAN SEE HOW GOOD WE ARE AND... THEN YOU WON'T WANT TO LEAVE US."

"look, i-i know we got off the wrong foot here. but we can help ya." They must feel it. The urgency to leave this place. They're getting desperate to keep you close. You wonder for a moment if it's just skeletons that are like this, to be able to tug at your heart like it does. When Sans and Papyrus were no longer in your life, with your twins growing inside you, your heart kept pulling. You thought nothing of it but the heartache of not being with them. But then in some strange twist of events, you ended up in a house filled with them.

Your twins must have wanted to see them so badly that they brought you back to them. They weren't the ones you married but all the same, you fell for them. For each of them and they you. In return your heart and soul held a special space for them. So seeing them once more as they stood infront of you, was becoming heartbreakingly lonely. "I'm sorry but, I can't." You felt sorry for them, your presence was conflicting their soul. To have someone randomly come into their lives and have feelings that weren't there before. "I bet once I get out of here, you two will go back to how you were. Now be good boys for Mama Frisk, and stay here while I break that pesky barrier of yours."

You walked away from them with your determination burning once more inside your chest. A bright light that kept the two from following you. Once you were out of their sight, you quickly made your way through the Underground. Dodging battle axes you managed to find and tie up Temmie near Flowey village. Sneaking your way through, you kept yourself buried between the crowd of monsters. Holding tight onto the bound Temmie, you found your way to the boat ferry. But what awaited for you, left you without any words. Sitting on a bench reading a book located near the boat was non other then W.D Gaster. The tall skeleton wearing an orange turtleneck sweater with a blue vest. The sight of him stopped your heart.

"Well isn't this interesting." He calmly said as he put away his glasses. "A human all the way here. Hope my sons didn't cause you any trouble."

Sons?

"They are quite a pair but they're good boys." Getting up from his seat, he drew closer to you. "I must say..." he grabbed your hand and placed a skeleton kiss on your knuckles, "... disguise yourself all you want, but it could never hide the beauty of your soul, little twilight. " Trapped in his stare, you stood still before the tall skeleton. Your sin pinning your soul in a standstill, your heart louged in your throat as your blood heated your cheeks. You dirty sinner.
