Chapter 50
Death casually strolled through the halls of the Heroes Association. He paused every so often as he heard people talk and move along despite him standing there. No one really saw him, no one knew he was in the room. "There are perks to this form…" he said with a content grin on his face.
But today, he wished to visit the grandchildren.
Bad was finally out of the castle along with Garou, they took the kids with them to work and needless to say, chaos ensued!
"You can't be that strong,"
"But I am, you wish to test me?"
One such incident was between Magnus and Tank Top Master. Despite Magnus appearing to be nothing more than a ten year old child, he is confident in his own strength and power.
Tank Top Master is a calm gentleman however he was rather surprise to have a ten year old speak to him in such a way. "You wish to spar with me? Only if you are sure about that…"
Magnus was already cracking his knuckles. "Where do we go?"
"HOLD IT!"
Death paused as Amai Mask came down the hallway, at the same time he had two of the younger kids clinging to his legs and giggling about it. "Magnus, you know better! You are going to harm him too much if you spar!" he protested.
"Excuse me?" demanded Tank Top Master. "Are you underestimating me?"
Amai sighed. "No, I am not. I am just aware as to how strong these children are. You are confronting the second oldest son of Garou and Metal Bat," he explained.
Tank Top Master smirked. "I knew that, he looks too much like Garou!" he said and snickered. "But he is merely ten…"
Amai sighed. "Very well then, Magnus, please… don't harm him too much."
Magnus nodded. "I promise!" he said and asked Tank Top Master to led the way. The two walked off. Death smiled proudly as Amai turned to the kids on his legs. "Hehe, Uncle funny!" said the youngest daughter Zella.
"Yes, yes. I heard that before…"
"Uncle Amai, can we get a snack?" asked second youngest son Kaga.
"Sure, I suppose so… now where the hell are your fathers?" he muttered. He trudged down the hall with the two children. Death smirked.
"Perhaps I will let him live a while longer…"
"I didn't anticipate on you being here so soon…"
Death turned and smiled. Pig God lingered just behind him but had a grin of his own. "Oh I couldn't resist. I allowed Bad to rest up, and now I wish to see the grandbabies!" he said proudly.
Pig God rolled his eyes. "You truly wanted Bad to have a large family…"
"Indeed, look at them Pig God. They are smart, they are strong and they still listen to those around them most of the time…"
"I think that's more Zenko's doing than Bad or Garou…" he muttered.
"Besides that, I couldn't be happier. The other gods cannot stop talking about Bad, let alone realize how big of a family he has started. Gaia in particular is quite fascinated…"
"Also, I received word too… of the demi Brutus?" Pig God said in a curious tone. "Have you heard as well?"
Death nodded. "The deed is already done. He is severed from Gaia's power and connection to immortality. However this Brutus has been alive for some time, no doubt he has a few tricks up his sleeve."
"Yeah, I thought so too. However my main concern is that he will be after Bad for revenge."
"Let him try, Bad no longer has to show mercy to him." Death proclaimed.
Pig God paused as he looked to Death with great curiosity. "Do you have any regrets in chosing Bad?" he asked. "I know you adore him, however, after seeing him first hand…"
Death was about to speak until he heard Bad shout. "WHO THE FUCK DID AN AIR B&B REVIEW OF ME!" he shouted in anger. The two gods were curious to go down the hall to a rather large hub. Bad was on his phone when he saw what upset him so much.
"Oh? Are you open for reservations?" Puri Prisoner asked.
"GO TO HELL!" Bad shouted, but then caught Garou snickering. "YOU SON OF A BITCH, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"
The room began to fill with black smoke as Bad tried to catch Garou who began to use shadow movement to avoid him, the two were going all over the place. People were thrown back by accident, some tables and chairs were tossed about. Pig God sighed aloud as he turned back to Death. "No regrets huh?"
Death however smiled warmly. "None what so ever!" he said and giggled to the antics of his Shadow King. "In fact, I couldn't be happier."
