Thankyou everyone for your reviews, it means a lot and I'm so glad people are still enjoying and reading the updates. I haven't been able to think of anything new with the newest story I started but I feel like I'm on a roll with this one so I'm going to try get as many chapters out as I can while my creativeness is flowing.

Yep definitely pregnant. Only the four times she'd been up vomiting very well proved that. She'd had a little bit of morning sickness with Lily but nothing like this.

She sat on the cold tiles in front of the toilet bowl, she heard a quiet tap on the door and then it opened up, "How you feeling?"

"I don't miss this part." Erin forced a chuckle.

He knelt behind her and massaged her shoulders, "Do you want to come back to bed? It's still quite early."

"Yeah let's try get a couple more hours sleep."

Jay helped her up off the ground and led her to bed, she got comfy under the covers and Jay snuggled in behind her touching her stomach with his hand, "I still can't believe your pregnant."

"Well get use to it and also I'm just apologising in advance for any hormonal outbursts."

"Nothing I can't handle Lindsay."

Few hours later Erin woke up to find an empty bed. She sighed and rolled out of it, chucking on her dressing gown she wondered downstairs.

She smiled when she saw Jay bopping around singing with Lily in the kitchen making pancakes. She smiled and approached them, "Morning you guys."

"Morning mummy, say morning Lil bear." Jay smiled as he turned the radio down and placed Lily on the ground.

"Mummy! Cuddles mummy?" Lily said running over to her mother, Erin immediately picked her up and chucked her in the air.

"Woah easy Er."

She shot Jay a back off look, "Jay just because I'm pre...you know, doesn't mean I can continue how I am around Lily, it's perfectly fine."

Jay raised his eyebrow confused as to why she didn't say pregnant, but then he clicked. She didn't want people to know just yet and Lily repeated absolutely everything she was hearing these days, "Okay sorry. Anyway what times the appointment?"

They were going to see the obstetrician today, find out how far along Erin was and make sure they had a healthy baby. Erin assumed she was six weeks, it had been a week since she took the test and she was a week late.

"2 o'clock."

Jay nodded, "Should we be telling Hank yet? Get you put on desk duty?"

"Jay I can work until my vest doesn't fit anymore."

Jay straightened his posture, Erin could tell he wasn't happy with that, "Erin I don't think that's..."

She cut him off, "Jay please don't, we will listen to what the doctor says and then we can go from there. But I did it with Lily and it was fine."

"Sure." He said bluntly.

"I have breakfast with Bunny so I should get her ready and head off."

"Oh okay then. Made pancakes for no reason then?"

"Jay I did tell you the other day, sorry."

"Guess it's just been a busy couple days, I will take these into work." He shrugged.

"Say bye daddy."

"Bye bye daddy." Lily said as Jay kissed her chubby cheeks.

"See you at 2." Erin said giving Jay a quick kiss on the cheek to try ease the tenseness.

Things with Bunny had been going really well, the had their fortnightly 'family' dinners, but every now and then Bunny would ring and organise another catch up. She kept asking to have some time alone with Lily but Jay and Erin both didn't trust her enough for that yet, even though she saved their daughter.

"Nana?" Lily questioned her mum as she was pulled out of her car seat.

"Yes Lil we are going to see Nana. God your getting so big princess."

"Mummy?"

"Yes sweetheart."

"See Daddy?"

"We will later." Erin smiled.

"Pwomise?"

Erin laughed and put Lily in the pram, "Yes hunny I promise."

She walked into the cafe and sat down where Bunny was sitting, "Hey mum."

"Hey Erin, hey sweetheart!" Bunny said tickling Lily's stomach.

"How are you?"

"Good things are well." Bunny smiled, she picked Lily up and sat her on her lap.

Erin noticed some bruising up her arm, "Mum your arms? Who did this to you?"

She shrugged it off, "Oh no, it's nothing got my arm jammed moving some boxes the other day."

Erin frowned but nodded, she wasn't going to pry. They ate breakfast and didn't speak about it, Erin also wanted to tell her mother she was pregnant again and that Jay was coddling her a little too much but it was too early she had to keep it under wraps.

Bunny walked Erin out to her car with Lily on her hip, "I really am so proud of your Erin, your a great mother. A better one then I ever was that's for sure."

Erin smiled uncomfortable, "Guess it just made me want to really succeed in it no offence."

"It's fine baby. Anyway I have to get going. See you on Sunday night for dinner?"

"Yep, see you then. Bye mum."

"Bye nana." Lily waved.

Erin drove to pick Jay up from work, she wasn't sure what excuse Jay had used but she was just glad he could come with her for this and she could tell how happy he was to be here this time round.

She walked into the district following her very distracted daughter. Lily was going through the 'wants to be friends with everyone stage' so every person or cop that walked Lily got so excited.

"Is that Lily Halstead I see?" Trudy said poking her head over the front desk.

"Trudeeeee!" Lily squeaked excitedly.

"Hi sweet girl," Trudy smiled, "Why are you not at work today?"

"Uh had to sort a few things out and thought this girl needed a day to spend with mummy." Erin lied, like she lied to Hank.

Trudy gave her a confused look, "Sure. Anyway they all just got back from a crime scene, why don't you head up."

"Thanks Trudy."

"Yep sure." Trudy nodded pretending she believed the detective then waved to Lily.

Erin followed Lily up the stairs and smiled when she saw her run up to all her Auntie and Uncles. She was so loved.

"Hey babe, you ready?" Jay said shaking her from her thoughts.

"Yep let's go. Come on Lil."

"No mummy, I stay." Lily said clinging to Adam.

Adam chuckled and Erin sighed, "No sweetheart we have to go, come on."

"No!" She said crossing her arms with sass.

"Lillian Nadia Camille Halstead." Jay said sternly, he wasn't going to play his daughters little game, not today.

Everyone turned to Jay and were surprised by his serious tone. Adam looked down to Lily who dropped her bottom lip but slid off his lap and walked over to her mother.

Jay sighed and looked towards Adam who was giving him a shocked look, "Now I'm the bad cop. You wait Adam, it's so great to have arguments with someone who plays with their food."

"Your scary." Adam said as he watched the little girl get lifted into Erin's arms and completely ignore her father.

"Bye Adam." Jay chuckled.

On the way to the doctors Jay looked over to Erin and squeezed her hand, "How was bunny?"

"Good besides..." Erin stopped mid sentence, she didn't exactly want to tell Jay what she say, she knew exactly how he'd react and it would probably be worse because he has been in a over protective mood ever since he found out she was pregnant.

Jay waited for a couple seconds but could tell Erin was going into her 'Lindsay shutdown mode,' "Er?"

"Uh what? Sorry."

"What happened?"

"She had bruises up her arm. I mean it's probably nothing, she said it was nothing and she seemed normal but I don't know. I'm not buying it."

"So you didn't ask how it happened?"

"She said she got it jammed moving boxes or something." She shrugged.

"But you don't believe that?"

"Do you?"

Jay shook his head, "Not really. Well we are seeing her for dinner on Sunday aren't we?" Erin nodded, "Then we can see how she is then? Maybe you can figure out if somethings going on."

"Okay. Anyway what was the excuse you used to get out of work early?"

"In other words 'Jay did you tell Hank I'm pregnant? Because I didn't want to tell him until I'm in the second trimester,'" Erin shot him a annoyed look, "I told him we had to get our flu shots."

"Right..." she paused, "Jay can you please support me when I say I want to wait to tell anyone? I promise I'm not going to put this baby in danger, you have to trust me."

"Okay I'm sorry. I have been acting like an overprotective asshole. I'm sorry."

"Yeah but your my overprotective asshole." She smiled and rubbed her hand through his stubble.

Erin and Jay were sitting patiently in-front of the doctors desk, Jay reached over and rubbed his thumbs over her hand, "You okay?"

She smiled, "I'm so much more then okay babe."

The door opened and a lady walked in, "Mr and Mrs Halstead?" They nodded happily, "It's nice to meet you, I'm Dr Nina Proudman."

She sat down and went through all the necessary questions, Erin's health, previous pregnancy, what she did for work, if she was on any medications or had any medical problems, then she ran multiple tests which all come back how they should.

Then it was time to see their baby and get them a due date they could count down to, "Erin if you just want to roll up your shirt."

"Yep I know the drill." Erin rolled up her shirt then Jay grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly.

"Now let's see this baby shall we?" The couple nodded and waited, then after a couple seconds of waiting the whole room was taken over by the noise of the baby's heart beating, "There we are. Nice strong heartbeat, just what we like to hear."

Jays eyes tested up, "Wow."

Erin bought his hand up and kissed it, "Pretty amazing huh?"

"It really is something else that's for sure."

Nina kept moving the ultrasound around, she then smiled and looked over at the couple, "Erin how far along again did you say you thought you were? Six weeks?"

"Yeah I think so," Erin looked at her confused and worried, "Is everything okay?"

"Yes everything is perfect but your baby here is measuring at about nine weeks, so abit further along then you thought."

"Oh really? Wow. I had a period in that time so I didn't think...I probably had a few drinks in that time too." Erin said disappointed in herself.

"It's fine Erin, you have a very healthy baby here. Sometimes a period can happen early on in pregnancy's which is probably why your were thrown off." Nina reassured her.

"Okay, okay." Erin nodded.

"So because Erin's a little further along then we thought, what happens with work?" Jay asked.

Nina smiled and packed away the machine then handed Erin a paper towel to wipe the gel off, "At the moment baby is pretty safe and secure in the womb, but I understand your job is quite full on?"

"It can be." Erin answered.

"At the moment I don't see any reason to put you on desk duty but I do what you to be more careful. Then we can reassess when your at twelve weeks." Nina said.

Jay sighed but nodded, "Thanks doc."

"My pleasure. Now I will see you two in three weeks."

Thankfully Jay didn't have to go back to work, so they decided to go to the park with Zeus and Lily then head home and snuggle on the lounge.

"Daddy? Pwease can we watch fwozen?" Lily said as she showed Jay the Frozen dvd.

Jay forced a smile, "What about ice age?"

Lily shook her head and shoved the DVD into his hands, "Daddy fwozen."

"Yes daddy frozen." Erin chuckled as she sat down on the lounge. The last month they had watched Frozen on repeat and she could tell Jay was going insane.

"I could pretty much recite this word for word you know," Jay said as he put the DVD in, Erin continued to laugh as Lily snuggled into her side and Zeus tucked himself near her feet, "Don't laugh Erin, it's not healthy."

"Okay I'm sorry. Look she will be asleep in no time, so I will put her to B.E.D," Erin said spelling the word out, "Then we can watch whatever you want. Or I mean we could do something else..."

She started tracing her fingers up Jays leg to his most sensitive part that made him weak at her touch, he cleared his throat, "Babe come on, not right now."

"Later then." She winked.

"These pregnancy hormones are going to be full on aren't they?"

Erin nodded, "Let's just say I had to take advantage of all the alone time I had when I was pregnant with Lily which was a lot. But now I have you...so you know what that means."

"She needs to hurry up and go to sleep, your killing me." Jay said feeling every bone in his body ache with desire.

"Press play then."
