Hi everybody!

Thanks to the two readers who left reviews!

One of them said that there were grammar/spelling mistakes in the last chapter but I checked and used the search tool on word to see if I accidentally put in random words but I didn't. I might not have checked well enough or maybe the reviewer accidentally misread something? I'm not sure…

On to the chapter…

Annabeth sat outside the principal's office.

Rachel was currently in there to give her side of what happened.

From experience, Annabeth could guess that only lies were going to come out of her mouth.

Annabeth had had to change out of her sweater because of how heavily coated it was in paint.

Because she didn't have another spare change, she had to borrow a hoodie from someone.

Moments later, Rachel walked out of the room.

The redhead shot a smirk at Annabeth.

"Your turn."

Annabeth took a breath and walked in.

The principals office wasn't a large or heavily decorated room.

It was painted with a few coats of white and on one wall there were a few pictures of students who had surpassed the schools goals.

As she walked past them she saw that one student was called Achilles.

She sat in a plastic chair opposite the principal, Chiron Brunner.

While he was their history teacher, he was also the school principal. History was just something he enjoyed teaching.

A mahogany desk sat between them, one made by a skilled craftsman.

On it were an assortment of items.

Stacks of paper. Random pens and pencils. A monitor and key board. And an apple. Probably his breakfast.

Mr Brunner looked at Annabeth from across the table.

He was brown haired and had brown eyes as well.

He sort of emanated a sense of wisdom which made Annabeth slightly unsure of what to make of him.

While wisdom was a powerful thing that some would be afraid of it was also something that she herself felt comfortable with.

The headmaster finally began to speak.

"So Miss Chase. I believe that you were one of two participants in a paint fight. I have heard Miss Green's perspective and now I would like to hear yours if you wouldn't mind." He leaned back. "Enlighten me."

So she did.

She explained their grudge against one another that began with the day at the skate park and ended with their mini paint war. She didn't include what happened the night of the dance however because she didn't want to drag her friends into this train wreck.

"I see." Mr Brunner finally said when she had finished. "While your version of what happened today has a stark contrast to what Miss Green has claimed, I feel as if you are telling the truth. Miss Green has been involved in multiple different issues in the past so what you have said does seem the more likely option. And from what I have read from your former school records is that you are not one to pick a fight."

Annabeth grimaced. She was lucky that her terrible mistake in the past didn't involve her old school, otherwise it could have affected her future more than it already had.

"Thank you for being honest today." He said to her. "I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and I will do my best to change your schedule, so that nothing like this can happen again. However if it does, I need you to try to stop yourself from retaliating no matter how hard you are provoked. That way, anyone who tries to pick a fight with you becomes discouraged."

"Thank you for believing in me." Annabeth said to him.

He nodded at her – a sign that she was dismissed.

After her art lesson, Annabeth had had a maths one but due to her being sent to the office, the hour had been wasted.

It was break time so Annabeth went to join her friends on the rooftop garden.

On the roof.

Annabeth finally finished climbing the stairs.

There were several of them and she was desperately out of breath.

She urged herself to continue walking and reach her friends,

When she did she collapsed onto a chair and grabbed a water bottle that Piper offered to her.

She greedily drank from it as the rest of her friends all made themselves more comfortable.

"Okay so maybe not the most ideal place for us to hang out," Piper began. "But at least we know that no one will be able to mess this place up without being severely punished as it is the garden clubs property."

"Thanks for that ray of positivity beauty queen." Leo said. "But what does it matter since everything else is probably going to change or become a wreck now that Luke is dying to rule the school?"

"Speaking of change," Thalia added. "Annabeth why are you wearing a hoodie when you were wearing a sweater earlier?"

"I got into a fight." The blonde replied. "Rachel spilled paint all over me on purpose during art and then I retaliated and she acted again. After that we were both sent to the principal. I spent the whole of 2nd period sat outside his office and the inside it explaining what happened."

They all rolled their eyes.

Classic Rachel.

Causing trouble for Annabeth and making her school life harder than it already was.

Percy squeezed her hand. "Well at least you didn't get into any more trouble with Mr B. Luckily you were sent to him and not Mr D."

Mr Dionysus was the Vice Principal.

"Yeah," she agreed.

From what her friends had told her, he was not the most lenient person ever.

"How were your lessons?" Annabeth asked her friends.

"In wood shop I made a ship." Leo said proudly.

"He named it the Argo II." Calypso added. "After the original Argo from Greek times."

"I totally rocked in Archery." Thalia grinned.

They all took extra-curricular lessons at some point in the week and Thalia's was archery.

"And I completely demolished everyone in Politics and Debate." Piper said.

Piper was an amazing diplomat. She was incredibly convincing. It was like she had a super power. It wouldn't be a surprise if she became the President of the United States sometime in the near future.

The bell rang.

"Guess climbing those stairs wasted our time." Katie said.

"Let's sit in the cafeteria at lunch." Connor said being the strategist. "Maybe Luke forgot about our table over the past couple weeks." He suggested hopefully.

They all sighed and ran to get to to their lessons.
