Hello there! (General Kenobi! :V)
So hello again for the next chapter of my fanfic. I hope you are doing great!
Sorry for being late again. Was busy yesterday at work, so I couldn't finish of editting this chapter (I gave them a final read and small edit when I'm about to post it.), so sorry if it took a while.
No Soundtrack, because I'm lazy.
Not much to say, other that I hope you like it :D
Chapter 41: The Chronicles of Reed, pt2.
His eyes slowly opened up to the light that was hitting his eyes, and he immediately felt his back was cold.
"Damn, my back is so cold…"
"Ah, finally you are awake, human."
Turning to his side, he could only see… a pair of large breasts.
"Uh…"
"My face is up here, human."
He immediately looked up, and he could see the glaring red eyes of his companion… the dark sorceress, Exia.
"Liked what you see, human?" asked Exia mischievously, making sure that her breasts jumped a little when she moved.
"Fuck off. You know I don't like large tits like yours. And my name is Reed. Use it." Said the annoyed human.
"Ah, cocky, aren't you? You think just because you have 3 Blue Eyes and strange powers, you can order me?"
"Shouldn't you be afraid that I have 3 Blue Eyes?"
"Ha! Not at all! I can fight them, even though they ARE powerful beasts. Besides, I have my ways, thanks to an object that Lord Exus gave me. With that, the dragons will be no problem to me."
Reed looked at Exia, and immediately saw she wasn't lying. He looked around and saw he was inside a tent, a big one, enough for probably 3 more people. He just sighed, trying to calm down.
"Whatever." Said Reed, as he slowly got up, but once again, he felt the cold. Looking at the bed he was resting on…and saw with anger what it was made of. "Why the hell is my bed made with ice?! No wonder my back is so cold!"
"Hah! Just a small gift from Xioné. She said you'll like it." Said Exia, smiling maliciously, knowing well Reed HATES cold.
"Fuck you! I know she did it on purpose to annoy me!"
"And it worked, I see."
Reed grunted in annoyance, as he stood up from the bed. However, because of the cold of the bed, his legs were numb, and so he lost his foot, falling forward…and landing face first directly on Exia's large breasts.
"Oh? Didn't you said you didn't like tits like mine, human?" asked Exia with malice.
"Fuck off!" Exclaimed Reed, very flustered about it, as he walked back out of Exia's chest. "I just slipped, my legs are numb."
"Sure, that is what all males do. Be grateful I don't burn your face off. Consider it a gift of mine."
"What gift?"
"The sensation of my breasts on your face. Maybe it will change your mind."
"Fuck. Off!"
"My, you are grumpy today, human."
"You will be if you wake up in a block of ice!" exclaimed Reed in frustration, before taking some breaths to calm himself. "By the way, were is that ice queen?"
"Oh, she is preparing the army for the attack."
"What?"
"Oh, you have been missing SO MUCH, human."
"…how long was I asleep?" asked Reed in confusion.
"About 5 or 6 days."
"WHAT?! How?!"
"You gave almost all your life to Lord Obelisk and you ask me WHY you were out for almost a week? I am surprised you are even ALIVE!"
"…so…what happened?"
Exia crossed her arms over her chest and she grunted a little, as she began to explain what he needed to know.
"We lost all the Heartless during the battle in Balm City, so we had to go back to Exus castle." Exia said, shivering a little at the memory. "Lord Exus was NOT pleased, I must say, but he has forgiven us because he knew a battle between two gods would likely destroy our forces. Besides, all the dead people on the city will make good Heartless to replenish some of them."
"But … we lost thousands in the attack." Said Reed.
"Yes, but we could still create more. Lord Exus is summoning them from the other side."
"What other side?"
"He is working on something special, human. You will know about it later. The point is that after that, he ordered us to get to the Sage of Fire."
"Oh yeah, that one in the Shiranui Clan, right?"
"That is not it."
"Uh?"
"The Shiranui Clan doesn't have the Sage of Fire. It seems it was a lie."
"How did you know?"
"We had a spy in their ranks, someone who I captured some weeks ago and gave him to Hades so he can mind control him."
"Ah, I see. So who is he?"
"You will meet him later. For now, you should get ready. We will attack their city tomorrow."
"I see, I see. What else happened?"
"Nothing much. We went to Exus castle, rest for a day, and then went here to prepare for the attack. We had to carry your sorry ass with us, since you were knock out."
"Just us three and an army of Heartless?"
"No…this time, we have some help."
"Who?"
"You will see." Said Exia, as she began walking out the tent. "Come, I'll show you."
The sexy sorceress walked out the tent, swinging her hips even more than usual, something Reed noticed.
"Stupid witch." He said, as he walked out of the tent, following her. "One day, I'll go all SeeD on your ass."
As he got out of the tent, he noticed an intense heat in the ambient. He saw they were on a place close to the mountains, with one side blocked by mountains, another by a dense forest except for a narrow passage between the forest and the mountains, and what was once a larg and green praire was now full of dry and dead plants, probably caused by the intense heat.
"Where are we?" asked Reed, as he walked towards Exia.
"We are approximately 20 kilometers East from where the Fire Temple is, close to the entrance to the Valley of the Red Eyes." Answered the sorceress, confusing Reed. "We used the corridor there to bypass the Forest of Illusion, but we had to go WAY south from Balm City."
"So close to the Fire Temple?"
"Exactly. The Shiranui Clan has a city extremely close to the Fire Temple. The Valley of the Red Eyes is like a giant desert surrounded by mountains in a crecent moon shape. The only entrance to the valley is blocked by the city of the Shiranui. If we want to access the Fire Temple, we need to get control of this city."
"And why don't we go to the Fire Temple directly?"
"Not only it's still not the time to enter the Temple, as it still has its shield, but the Shiranui have a fortress near the temple too, so we have to get rid of them. Besides, we need to find the Fire Sage before that. Since this place is so close to the Temple, we need to neutralize her."
"You mean convert her to our side, right?"
"Exactly!"
"Alright, so what is the plan?"
"We will invade the city of the Shiranui Clan."
"So…how big is this city?"
Exia snapped her fingers, and an orb or magical energy. It showed a scene, a large city of Japanese style, protected by a large and imposing wall. It has two main entrances, one to the north and one south. The one on the south goes directly to a valley behind the city…a large valley surrounded by tall mountains. The city itself worked as this valley's entrance, so no army could enter the valley because the city was in their way…and the city was walled.
The walls were big, although made of wood. Still, they had a layer of stone, so setting them on fire wouldn't be easy. The big and scarped mountains don't help, as they couldn't put anything over it to attack from the top. Also, the city has many, MANY watch towers to protect the city and the walls. Another thing is was looked like a thin energy shield arround the city.
"Seems like an imposing city." Said Reed with intrigue.
"Indeed." Exia answered. "It's one of the biggest, non-capital cities in the world. It's called Kyushu-Ho, and it's famous for its weapons."
"Weapons? Why is that?"
"The Shiranui clan is famous because they are actually Zombies that can make weapons using the spirits of the world, and some spirits."
"Weapons made of spirits, eh? You think they can destroy the Heartless?"
"That is why we are going to attack them. They were one of the clans that were against Lord Exus 2000 years ago, and so we have to eliminate them if we want to conquer this continent easier."
"So what? Should I attack them with my Blue Eyes? Attack them from the sky?"
"Ha! Well, you could do that, although they are allied to a race known as the Mayahaski, spirits of great power. Even though the three Blue Eyes can defeat them, then you'll have to face the might of the Shiranui Clan, and I don't think you alone will be able to beat them."
"That is why I have you as my ally…right?"
"Ha! Of course, you idiot! But we want to attack them so they are destroyed immediately. Besides, I will need your Blue Eyes for…another being."
"What do you mean?" asked Reed with confusion.
"Oh, you will know it when we see him…the guardian of the Fire Temple."
"Guardian?"
"Yes. We need to destroy the Shiranui clan and FAST, before the Guardian awakens and tries to attack us. If we do so, we will succeed."
"So...why don't you just summon a bunch of Heartless from below their feet like you did to those other towns?"
"It won't work this time." said Exia, pointing at the dome of energy arround the city. "See that shield? It's a magical shield put by the Shiranui themselves to keep their city cool, and its made of Spirits, so it will DRASTICALLY reduce the number of Heartless I can summon on the city at once. They will be easily defeated by the Shiranui."
"So what are you going to do?"
"The shield stops me from summoning Heartless inside...but it doesn't protect them from Heartless coming from the OUTSIDE." said Exia maliciously. "I want you to use one of your Big White Dragons to open a hole on their wall, so that the Heartless can be summoned en masse inside their city."
"So…that's the plan then? It's only you, me, and the Ice Queen, plus a bunch of Heartless?"
"Ah, that is why I said we have some help now. You see, Ha Des, one of the other Generals, almost second in command of Lord Exus, has his own henchmen, that he gave them to us so we can attack them."
"And who are they?"
"You want to see them?" asked Exia with malice. "Alright then! Come, servants of Ha Des!"
Suddently, the whole place became darker, like if there was a sudden eclipse. Then, five shadows emerged from the floor, just in front of Exia, creating portals that emerged some dark smoke. Then, five figures emerged from those portals. They were tall, probably over 2 meters tall with ease, and they were…skeletons, wearing armor and weapons. Reed recognized immediately.
"Archfiends?!" asked Reed in surprise.
"Oh? So you know them, human?" asked Exia with malice.
Of course Reed knew them. He fought against several decks back on Earth that used those monsters. He can even recognize them easily. There were 5 Archfiends: Darkbishop, InfernalQueen, Shadowknight, Vilepawn and finally, Terrorking Archfiends. They were powerful, as he could feel a powerful dark aura coming from them.
They immediately saw Exia and kneeled in her presence.
"You called us, lady Exia?" asked the Terrorking Archfiend, the leader of the 5 of them.
"Yes, I did." Said Exia. "The human here wanted to see who will help us in our battle against the Shiranui Clan, so I called you all here to do so."
The 5 Archfiends then stood up and turned to look at Reed. Their eyes were full of anger and hate, something that kind of surprised him. However, he couldn't decide if that hate was towards him or if they always are like that.
"So…this is one of the humans, eh?" asked the Vilepawn Archfiend, a demon whose right arm was a sword attached to his bone, and his left one was a shield with 3 razor blades. He approached Reed and looked at him directly. "He looks so fragile and weak. I bet I could cut his head in two with my blade with no problem." He said, as he approached his blade to Reed's neck, slowly, to touch his skin.
Reed saw this as a treat, and he immediately displayed some of his aura in anger. The Archfiend was kind of take back at the aura levels of the human…but he was mostly taken back at the sudden translucent image of the head of a Blue Eyes White Dragon that appeared in front of Reed's body, and roared at it. The Archfiend took a step back in surprise and some fear at the image of the Blue Eyes, causing his companions to laugh.
"I wouldn't mess up with him if I were you." Said Exia with malice. "He has three Blue Eyes and Lord Obelisk under his command. If you treat him, one of the Blue Eyes will eat you alive…or death? I don't know with you, guys."
"Ah, so you are the one who took control of the three Blue Eyes and of Lord Obelisk, eh?" asked another Archfiend, this time being the Bishop one. "Interesting. My name is Malakar, Bishop of the Archfiends."
"Name is Vorder, Shadowknight of the Archfiends." Expressed another one of the Archfiends, this one having also a sword and shield like Vilespawn, but his skin was blue and so was his very abundant hair, that moved with the wind.
"I am the Infernal Queen Archfiend Hellezar." Said the woman of the 5 demons, her glaring red eyes piercing Reed's soul.
Seeing the others presenting themselves, the Vilespawn Archfiend just grunted in anger, before giving in.
"Name is Zaladur, Vilespawn Archfiend."
"And I am their leader." Said the tallest of them all. "Terrorking Archfiend Kaozor."
Reed raised an eyebrow.
"All of your names end in R." commented the human.
"Oh, you noticed?" asked Exia. "It's a tradition of Archfiends to have a name that end with R."
"I…see." Reed commented, before looking at the demons. "Name is Reed, Master of the Blue Eyes and Lord Obelisk. Human from planet Earth."
"Is this world of yours similar to this one?" asked Hellezar, the queen, with intrigue.
"In all of its green and blue glory."
"Do you have crystals like us?" asked Vorder, the knight of the Archfiends.
"No, we don't. Our planet is strong enough to not depend on some crystals like this one."
"Interesting…" said the Bishop, named Malakar. "I want to go and see this world of yours…and see what it would look in darkness."
"Just don't underestimate us humans. We may be weak of body, but our weapons can talk about us."
"We will see…"
"Enough." Said the King, silencing both. "Miss Exia, I sure hope you didn't summoned us only to introduce us to this human."
"Of course not, Vorder." Said Exia. "By now, Xioné must be on her way back."
"You called?"
The group turned to look at the young ice user, who just jumped down from a couple of rocks nearby. Reed looked at her in anger, something she noticed.
"Hey, human! Liked the bed I made for you?" asked Xioné with malice, causing Reed to get angrier, to the point of breathing fire…
…literally.
'Well…that was new…' Reed though when he realized what he just did.
"Oh boy, didn't knew you could breathe fire, human." Said Exia with intrigue.
"…me neither."
"Anyway…" said Xioné, trying to ignore that. "I have the report."
"Excellent!" exclaimed Exia. "Now, human, I will explain the plan."
Exia began to explain what they were going to do. Reed heard all of it and, while he didn't like most of it, he agree it will be an interesting take. After all, if everything else fails, they could always call the dragons…or even Obelisk.
He just smiled.
Kyushu-Ho, the great city of the Shiranui Clan, was one of the biggest non-Capital cities in the world. Its Japanese architecture and the large size of it made it one of the most beautiful too. Protecting the great city was the great wall, that has resisted attacks of even Exus' armies several hundreds years ago.
In the middle of the city rest the Grand Palace, a large building where the emperor of the city rest. It was the most protected part of the city, with another inner wall and several towers to attack anyone who dares to try and attack it.
It was a normal day, as the sun was raising on the east over the mountains. The heat was insufferable, because of their close proximity to the Fire Crystal. However, thanks to a spell made by several ice mages, the city was protected by a shield that reduced the temperature inside it to a more tolerable level. That being said, they had to leave their farms that were outside the city walls, as the heat was so high they began to burst in flames. They had food for a few more weeks, but if the situation continues, they will have to evacuate…and they don't want that, obviously.
The guards at the north entrance were looking at the outside of the city, only seeing the fires that the heat of the Fire Crystal were causing in the forest nearby, and they couldn't do anything because if they get out, they will suffer from the heat too. Thankfully, they were undead fire beings, so they will not be as affected by the heat…but their buildings will. At least the shield of ice energy they have is working.
It was then that one of them noticed something in the sky: a shiny white bird flying towards them. He asked himself if he was seeing things, but when others noticed it, he knew he wasn't going crazy. The bird was getting bigger, and bigger…until they noticed it wasn't a bird… it was a…
"DRAGON!"
The alarm was sound. In the sky, a giant dragon was flying towards them… and not any dragon.
It was a Blue Eyes.
"Alright, Doppel! Destroy that wall!" Exclaimed Reed, riding on the Blue Eyes' neck. "BURST STREAM!"
The White Dragon opened his mouth and released a powerful beam of energy towards the door, several hundred meters below them. Even if it was from far away, his aim was precise, and it's beam impacted in the middle of the giant door, causing it to explode. Still releasing it's energy, the Blue Eyes moved it's head, so the beam can move too and with it, destroyed the towers and other defenses close to the entrance.
Almost immediately, from the rest of the towers, archers began to shoot their arrows towards the Blue Eyes. Those were not simple arrows, but enchanted ones, as they flew faster and had some strange aura around it. Sure, the skin of a Blue Eyes was very resistant, and he could take some arrow shots with ease, but Reed will not risk it.
"Door's open! Your turn, Exia!" exclaimed Reed, as the Blue Eyes began to fly over the city, trying to stay out of the way of the arrows.
The soldiers of the city continued firing arrows to the sky, trying to hit the Blue Eyes. However, thanks to the hole in the wall, the enchanted shield that covered the city now had a hole on it.
And so, the Darkness can get in.
Suddently, several shadows began to emerge from the floor, and their yellow eyes looked at their preys.
"The creatures of darkness!" exclaimed one of the soldiers, looking at the Heartless who were jumping towards them. "To arms!"
The Soldiers took out their enhanced weapons and began fighting against the Heartless, face them in battle. Their weapons DID were better at fighting the Heartless, as they were enchanted with spiritual energies. Still, they were SO MANY Heartless, so they slowly began entering the city using sheer numbers, overwhelming the defenders.
They did not give up, though.
Three persons fought more than everyone else, all of them using typical Japanese clothing.
One was a samurai, blue/purple hair tied with a long ponytail, and he used a long blue flame sword. He was a Shiranui Spectralsword.
Another was a woman, long purple hair, wearing along Japanese dress, large breasts and wielding a double blade weapon that shinnied with energy. She was a Shiranui Skillsaga Supremacy.
The last one was a monk of sorts, with long brown hair and wielding a monk staff. He was a Shiranui Solitarie.
The three were fighting with determination, cutting many Heartless around them. The archers were shooting arrows from the towers, helping them in the battle. However, they were suddenly surrounded.
"Curses! They are so many!" exclaimed the Spectralsword Shiranui, the samurai. "Lady Miyoko, leave the rest to us! You flee to the Palace!"
"Not a chance, Hideyoshi." Said the woman, the Skillsaga Supremacy. "I won't leave you nor Musashi to face these shadow demons!"
"I appreciate the feelings, Lady Miyoko." Commented the last man, the Shiranui Solitarie. "But Hideyoshi is right. You should leave to the palace. Our job is to protect you, my lady."
"Well, I'm not going anywhere. This is my city, and I will defend her from all evil!"
"Well said, princess!"
Suddenly, the three samurai saw a portal of darkness opening in the floor, and from them emerged, not Heartless, but 5 skeletal figures, all of them with imposing dark auras. One of the samurais, the Shiranui Solitarie, the monk of the three, recognize them instantly.
"It can't be! Archfiends!" he exclaimed in surprise.
"Greetings, Samurais!" exclaimed the Bishop Archfiend Malakar, taking a step forward. "We are the Archfiends, and now, we will conquer your city in the name of our Lord Exus! Kneel!"
"Never!" exclaimed Hideyoshi, the Shiranui Spectalsword, who jumped towards him, his sword ready to slash him. However, Vorder, the Shadowknight Archfiend, immediately appeared in front of him and impaled the swordsman with his arm blade, killing him instantly.
"Hideyoshi!" exclaimed Miyoko, the Skillsaga Supremacy, in horror.
"Then your city will burn… in the name of Lord Exus!" exclaimed Malakar in anger.
The five Archfiends began approaching the two Shiranui soldiers, before jumping on them.
…in their last battle.
In another part of the city, more Shiranui soldiers were fighting against the Heartless, trying to keep them at bay. The battle was going well for them… until suddenly, some of them began to froze solid from the legs up to the head, being turned into a block of ice completely. The rest of the soldiers turned to look at who was the newcomer, and they saw a twin tailed blue haired woman on top of the roof of a nearby house.
"Hello, everyone!" exclaimed Xioné with some malice. Some of the soldiers recognize her.
"The Sage of Ice! She is with the enemy!" exclaimed a Soldier, before he was frozen solid by Xioné's powerful icy wind.
"That is right, boy!" said Xioné, as she reappeared behind the frozen soldier. "Now, you will all become part of Exus army!"
"NEVER!" Exclaimed one of the soldiers, as the rest pointed their swords and spears towards Xioné. "We will die fighting than to serve that tyrant!"
"Suit yourselves!" Xioné exclaimed, as she summoned her snowflake chakrams on her hands. "Come!"
The soldiers jumped towards her, but Xioné just smiled. However, before those soldiers could hit her, they were all vaporized by a blue energy beam coming from the sky. The force of the impact caused Xioné to be pushed back a few meters, and when she recovered, she noticed someone falling from the sky, and landing in front of her.
"You own me one, ice princess." Said Reed, as the Blue Eyes he was riding flew and destroyed a couple of towers with his energy beam.
"You idiot!" exclaimed Xioné in anger. "You ALMOST hit me!"
"Oops! My bad. It was NOT my intention to do so." Reed said, obviously lying, smiling smugly while looking in another direction. This caused Xioné to get even more angry.
"Is this about the ice bed? You should have thanked me!"
"Thank you for what?!"
"Because of that, you managed to feel Miss Exia's breasts! No other mortal would be able to do that and LIVE to tell the tale, so you should be grateful!"
"Who do you think I am?! My cousin Alan?! I DON'T like large brea-…wait, how do you know about that?"
"I kind off can use my own ice to 'see' what is happening on the other side for a few moments. It was an interesting accident." Said Xioné with some mischievous. "Also…you have a nice butt."
"Fuck off! And you still own me one."
"I didn't need your help! I could have beat them easily!"
"Oh, but we will NEVER know, right?"
It was then that more soldiers appeared from the alleys, and began surrounding them, all of them wielding swords or spears.
"You! Surrender!" exclaimed one of the samurai soldiers. At this, Reed smiled with malice.
"This is where the fun begins!" He said, before summoning his Gunblade. "Let's go! Race you to the Palace!"
"You are on, human!" Exclaimed Xioné. "But no dragons!"
"Deal!"
With that, both dashed forward and immediately killed several of those samurai, starting a battle against the rest, and to see who will be able to reach the palace first.
The battle continued for an hour, and the Heartless and Archfiend forces were getting deep in the city, burning everything inside it. Eventually, they managed to reach the wall that surrounded the Palace itself, an impenetrable fortress with many towers surrounding it. It also has a magical shield that protected the Palace from above, so no one could ever try and enter from the sky, and if they tried to do so, and manage to bypass the shield, the archers in the towers would kill them. It was a fortress that no one will be able to penetrate.
…but even the mightiest of walls and shields would be no match for the might of three Blue Eyes White Dragons…and when the archers saw three of them in the invading army, they knew it was their end.
"BURST STREAM!"
On Reed's command, the three Blue Eyes unleashed their powerful breath weapons, and hit the mighty gate of the fortress. Even with all the enchantments that reinforced the gate, it was no match for three Blue Eyes, and so the gate was blown up, along with a portion of the wall. The Samurai inside the fortress could only see how, from the dust cloud created by the explosion, the sexy sorceress Exia walked out, and behind her were Reed, Xioné, and the five Archfiends, along with a wall of Heartless behind them. Exia looked at the palace, a large Japanese-style building, and smiled.
"Alright, kiddos, I'll take care of the inside." Said the sorceress. "You all take care of the outside. Kill the rest!"
"Yes, miss Exia!" exclaimed everyone, as they dashed from the gate and into the Samurais, continued to fight.
Exia just smiled, and she just began walking towards the palace. Some guards tried to stop her, but they were tackled by Heartless, leaving her path mostly free.
Inside the Palace, the leader, a Shiranui Shogunsaga, was preparing to make a final stance. He had long white hair and some exotic Japanese clothes, showing its high rank. He was wielding two mystic blades on his hands, and looked at the door with determination.
He was with many other samurai inside the throne room, but there were two in particular that were different from the others: a high rank male Shiranui Samurai, and a Shiranui Squire, a quite busty female rookie who was besides the Samurai. The first one wield a mystic sword, while the second one wield a 'normal' spear. Both of them had red hair.
"Do not fear, my apprentice." Said the Samurai. "We will stand our ground and protect the Shogun."
"Yes, Master Daichi." Said the Squire, holding her spear firmly. "I won't fail you."
"Chisato, if I were to fail in here, you need to…"
"No, Master Daichi. I will fight by your side, until the end!" exclaimed the girl, named Chisato, looking at her master with determination.
"Daichi, Chisato!" exclaimed the Shogun Shiranui, calling both of their attention.
"Yes, Lord Hayato?" asked both of them, turning to look at their leader.
"This will be a hard battle." Said the Shogun, named Hayato. "And we will probably won't survive. I just want to say…I am honored to be fighting by the side of my apprentice, and the apprentice of my apprentice."
"It's an honor to fight alongside you, Master Hayato." Expressed the samurai Daichi, kneeling before his Master.
"I don't know who they are, but we will show them the Shiranui Clan is no one to mess up with!" exclaimed the female, Chisato, with determination.
The Shogun smiled, looking at the determination of the young one. This is what he was fighting for: to see the young ones, the future of their clan, not having any doubt in their hearts.
Suddently, the Shogun turned to look at the door, and he frowned.
"They are here…"
Suddently, the door exploded, causing chaos and confusion inside the throne room. As the dust settled, they revealed the curvaceous figure of the Sorceress Exia, as she walked in the throne room.
"Ah, the Shiranui Shogun, I suppose." She said, looking at the whitehaired man, near his throne. The rest of the samurais inside the room quickly surrounded her, but she just looked at them in anger. "OUT OF MY WAY, YOU INSECTS!"
She summoned several dark lightning bolts from the tip of her fingers, and they struck all the samurais closer to her, killing them instantly. She then created a burst of energy around her, creating an explosion that send the rest of the samurai flying across the room, leaving her path free.
"Insolent!" said the elite Samurai Daichi, as he prepared to battle. However, the Shogun put a hand in front of him to stop him, and he walked in front of them.
"Who are you, witch?" asked the Shogun Hayato.
"Oh my, I am hurt you don't know me." Said the sexy sorceress. "I am Exia, one of the Generals of Lord Exus, who came here to conquer this city!"
"Exus?!" Exclaimed Hayato in surprise. "So he decided to attack the city?"
"It sucks for you, actually, because our objective is the Fire Temple…and your city is just in the way…so it will have to be burned!"
"Like I will let you!" exclaimed Hayato, holding both his swords and burning his aura. "I won't hold out just because you are a woman! Prepare yourself!"
Exia just smiled in arrogance.
"I do have to admit, a battle against you would be really difficult." Said Exia. "The rumors say that the Leader of the Shiranui clan is someone who is so strong that he could face a Blue Eyes and survive. If the rumors are true, fighting you will be really…difficult."
"So you are going to back down?" asked Hayato, as he took a step forward. "Are you going to flee?"
"Oh, not at all! I am sure if we fought, I will still be the winner. After all, I have dark powers given to me by Lord Exus himself. However, that won't be necessary."
"What? Why is that?"
"Because, as that human said before…" said Exia with malice. "…you are already dead."
"What?!"
-SLASH!-
A piercing pain appeared on his chest, as Hayato looked down in surprise, only to see… a blade going through his chest.
A blade he knew…
"D-Daichi…why?" asked Hayato, as he turned his head back to see his own apprentice, looking at him with malice.
"You were vulnerable, Master." Said Daichi, his voice now more monotone, and his eyes empty, but showing some anger. "You showed me to NEVER let my guard down no matter with who, and yet…you did."
"M-Master Daichi! What are you doing?!" asked Chisato in horror.
"I am just letting the way open…for my new master."
Daichi took the sword out of Hayato, and the older man fell on the ground.
"Daichi…you betrayed us…?" said the fallen Shogun, as blood keep slipping out of his chest…just like his life.
"Oh, that was my doing." Said Exia, as she walked by and got in front of the Shogun, and besides Daichi. "I will take pity of you, since you are dying. Remember when your student went out for an exploration with a group of six people, but he was the only one to return?"
"He was…fighting the…dark beings…"
"Ah, yes, he did. However, during that moment, I killed all of his companions, but took him for a little trip…to Lord Exus' Castle."
"W-what?!"
"Indeed, and in there, Lord Exus explained his plan to your apprentice. He wasn't convinced but Lord Exus can be…VERY convincing." Said Exia, as she summoned some darkness in her hand, implying Exus used darkness on him to corrupt the samurai.
"I saw the light, the truth of Lord Exus." Said Daichi, standing besides Exia. "I don't fear the darkness like you all do. I will bring peace to this world, in the name of Lord Exus!"
Hayato looked at the ground, finally understanding what happened.
"I see. Exus brainwashed you. His magic was so strong that our own sages and monks didn't detected it."
"Indeed." Said Exia with malice. "And Daichi told us all about the city's defenses, and of the weapons you use. You would have been the only problem but…I just needed to play my cards right."
"I…see…" said Hayato.
"This is the end, Master." Said Daichi. "The city is taken. Lord Exus won."
"No…no he hasn't. As long as there are people to face him… Exus will lose."
"But you won't be able to see it, old man."
"Maybe no, but the future generation will fight him. They will defeat him, and finally…we will…have…pe...a…ce…"
And with that, the light of the Shogun disappeared.
…the city has truly fallen.
"He is dead." Said Daichi, not showing any remorse. "It's over."
"No…no it isn't." said Exia, turning to look at the other person in the room. "There is still…one Shiranui left."
Daichi turned to look to his right, and saw Exia was right, as the only person left in there was…his own apprentice.
Chisato saw all of this in shock. Her Master has just killed HIS Master and leader of the clan. He was being possessed by dark magic, as she knew her Master would NEVER betray his people. But the one in front of her was not her Master.
…he was being controlled.
"Take care of her." Said Exia, as she began walking out. "I have other matters to attend."
And with that, both Master and Apprentice were left alone.
"Master Daichi! Please, tell me this is not true!" exclaimed Chisato in desperation, as tears began to fall from her eyes.
He just looked at her with the same empty eyes he saw his Master with when he killed him.
"Please! Master Daichi!"
Seconds looked like hours to her, as she waited for an answer…ANY answer.
Then, he smiled, and it filled her with hope…
"Chisato…prepare to die…"
…hope that was crushed immediately, as he dashed towards her, sword ready to strike her.
Only her screams could be heard from the inside…as she was the last Shiranui on the Palace that was alive…
Outside of the Palace, Exia looked to her companions and the job they did.
They were the only ones alive.
"Well done, everyone." Said Exia, as she walked down the stairs of the Palace.
"You made it seem like this was harder than it was, witch." Commented Reed, as he cleared his Gunblade of the blood it had. "This was pretty easy."
"Oh no, human. This is only the beginning."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, we HAD to beat the Shiranui clan before the other two powers arrive here to face us."
"Two…powers?"
"Yes: The Sage of Fire AND the Guardian of the Temple. They will be here soon; thanks to all the damage we have done." Said Exia, before she felt…something.
She turned to look at where the gate of the inner wall was supposed to be before it was blown up by the Blue eyes a few minutes ago. In there, she saw…some figures that just entered the inner wall.
"And one of those powers… is here." Said Exia with malice.
Reed turned to look at them, and his eyes grew in size.
"No way…" said the human. "…are they the…?"
"Elemental Hero Clan."
Reed couldn't believe what he was seeing. In front of them were the Elemental Heroes, the monsters that Jaden Yuki used in the anime…along with other Elemental Heroes he does NOT know. He could see Avian, Burstinatrix, Bubbleman, Clayman, Sparkman and others he did not recognize. To say he was surprised was not enough.
"What the HELL are the Elemental Heroes in here?! Is this their city?!" asked Reed in confusion. Exia just laughed.
"Oh no, their 'city' is actually more to the north of the continent, several hundred kilometers from here, on the extreme north part of this continent."
"Then why are they here?!"
"Because one of their members is the Sage of Fire."
"What?!" asked Reed in surprise…before centering in one of the female heroes. "Don't tell me…"
"That Burstinatrix there…she is the Sage of Fire." Said Exia, pointing at the dark haired woman in red spandex.
"And why are THEY here?"
"Because the Fire Crystal is weakening, you moron! The Sage of Fire sensed it, so they made the pilgrim to get in here. We HAD to attack now and destroy the Shiranui Clan before the Elemental Heroes arrived, or else our battle would have been extremely hard, because you DON'T underestimate Elemental Heroes AT ALL. They have strange powers."
"Like what?"
"They can fuse with each other and create an even stronger hero once they have enough combat energy, so you will have to face an even harder battle the more it extends."
"Damn! So if we attacked a few hours later…"
"We would have faced the Shiranui AND Elemental Heroes at the same time. With our strength, we would have to use the BIG guns, aka, Lord Obelisk."
"I see." Said Reed, getting in guard. "So we shall face them in battle, right?"
"Not you, kiddo!" Expressed Exia, smiling mischievously. "You will face ANOTHER enemy."
"Who?"
Suddenly, the ground began to shake intensely. Some of the buildings damaged during the battle began to crumble and, far away, in the center of the valley where the Fire Temple resided, a volcano erupted, sending a powerful column of lava into the air.
"Him." Said Exia, pointing at the volcano.
Reed looked at the Volcano and, while very far away, like 40 or 50 kilometers away, he could still see…something, emerging from the lava.
A dragon…a dark dragon…
"Wait… is that…"
"The Guardian of the Fire Temple: The Red Eyes Black Dragon."
As Exia just said, the figure that emerged from the column of lava was indeed a Red Eyes Black Dragon, the main monster of Joey Wheeler from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime, and one of the three main favorite monsters. As a dragon, Reed also liked the Red Eyes, but he was more into the Blue Eyes series, so he didn´t mind. He also smiled.
"A Red Eyes? Really?" asked Reed. "Please! A Blue Eyes can easily beat him. If this is the menace that you were saying…"
"Do not underestimate him, human!" Exia exclaimed, shutting Reed out. "He is no ordinary Red Eyes. He was one of the ones that sealed Lord Exus away! He has become stronger, sleeping in that Volcano for millennia! And he has achieved a new, more powerful form."
"What?!" Asked Reed in surprise…before he felt the Red Eyes powerful aura increase even more.
Turning back, the Red Eyes Black Dragon was slowly…absorbing the lava from the volcano that hit its body. The heated rock joined with his body as it began to change shape and size, turning increasingly red, as his aura increased too. After a few seconds, his transformation was complete, and he emitted a powerful roar that, even far away, they could feel it, as it shook the windows in the city. When Reed saw its new form, he was in shock.
"No way!" he exclaimed. "Is that…a Meteor Black Dragon?! No…it looks…different."
"He has evolved into a Meteor Black COMET Dragon, human." Said Exia. "HE is the one who you should take care of."
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! That monster is way more powerful than a Blue Eyes?!"
"Well, you have THREE of them, not? Sure you can think of something, 'Dragon Master'." Said Exia with malice, causing Reed to look at her with anger.
"Why you…?!"
"Concentrate, human! We will fight the Elemental Heroes. You fight the Red Eyes. I'll see you on the Fire Temple."
"I will go full SeeD on your ass once we finish this, witch!" Exclaimed Reed, before he looked into the sky. "DOPPEL!"
Suddenly, a Blue Eyes White Dragon flew over him, and Reed just jumped on his back, before the dragon began to fly up and reunite with the other two Blue Eyes. Once together, they flew south, towards the volcano, towards the evolved Red Eyes…that was flying directly towards them.
And they meet in the middle, creating a large explosion that shook the whole valley. As others tried to keep themselves standing, Exia just smiled.
"I never asked him what he meant by going all 'SeeD' on me. Oh well, if he survives, I will ask him." Said the Sorceress, before looking at the Heroes. "So…shall we begin?"
The Heroes looked at each other…before running towards Exia and her forces, starting the battle that will decide the fate of the Fire Temple…and the Fire Crystal itself.

Author Notes:
AND DONE!
Well, what do you think? I decided to add the Reed chapter to break a little of the monotony. Besides, it works because this happens between the two days of training.
Oh yeah, Archfiends are now part of the evil side. I mean, I can't keep adding good guys if I don't add bad ones, right? You will know more of them later.
So yeah, the Shiranui clan is gone. Reduced to atoms. Even if I named some girls and said the size of their breasts, that doesn't mean they will live. I just say it because you need to imagine it...even if I suck at describing them, at least you know how big they are :V
Oh yeah! The Elemental Heroes are here! To be fair, I REALLY had no idea who the Sage of Fire would be. I had no fire monster that was no spellcaster that I liked, so I had to ask a friend of mine, and he said Burstinatrix. I...don't like the Elemental Heroes, but I suppose I can use them. So they arrived just in time to see the city burn...well, that sucks. Will they survive?
Alright, everyone, November is almost here. It will be exactly 1 year since I started posting this fic in here, so for this month, and probably December, we'll be back to the 1 chapter per week format, so next chapter will be next week. After that, we'll see if I can continue this way for the rest of the months for next year.
Also you can leave a comment in here, even if it's anonymous if you don't have an account. Feel free to say what you want about the fic (insults will be deleted, though. I need constructive criticism). Now, I know I have problems with my english, but any criticism is welcome, as long as it's fair. I try to keep getting better.
Anyway, I hope you liked it, and see ya next time!
