Damion now faced off against Hazel. He was far more powerful than the man, of course, but freshly coming back from the dead left him weaker than normal and Hazel's rage was enough to close the distance between them. They were now locked together, grappling for control, but Hazel was pushing forward, causing Damion to slide back despite his best attempts to keep himself rooted. And the fact Hazel had injected himself with fire and lightning dust that was now shocking Damion didn't hel. "Damn, Ozpin! What did you do to piss this guy off so bad?!" Damion questioned.

Hazel looked over Damion's shoulder at the farm boy possessed by a wizard. "You never told them, did you!? Well tell them now, Ozpin!" Hazel shouted.

"H-her name was Gretchen. She was Hazel's sister. She wished to be a Huntress and lost her life in a training exercise." Oscar explained.

This caused the resurrected vampire to glare at the hulking man before him. "You... You're a failure." He snapped suddenly pushing back, causing Hazel to stumble back and leaving him open for a punch to the chest that sent him skidding back.

"What?!" Hazel demanded, quickly getting angry with what Damion just said.

"You're a failure as a brother. The fact she died tells me you didn't take the time to prepare her for the dangers she would face. And now that she's dead, not only do you spit on her her memory by fighting the people she fought for and wanted to defend, but you disgrace everything she stood for by allying yourself with the forces that more than likely killed her. You failed your sister and you failed her memory." Damion told him.

"You don't know what you're talking about! I'll make you choke on those words!" Hazel screamed, rushing in. He threw a fist forward, but it was easily met with Damion's fist, surrounded by darkness, which forced his back. He threw his other fist forward, only for the action to be repeated. The two of them then threw a barrage of punches, before Damion broke through his defenses and hit him with several bone-crushing hits, before he forced him back.

He was about to advance on the man again, before noticing Yang on the losing end with Mercury and Emerald. "Yang!" He snapped, about to rush in for her, but Hazel recovered and grabbed him in a bear hug from behind, crushing him, electrocuting and burning him all at once.

Mercury knocked Yang down with a kick to the head, bringing her to her hands and knees. "This is too easy. And heck, half of them are either too weak to fight or down for the count. You think you can handle this? I'm gonna finish some of them off." Mercury declared, walking towards where I was laying and dying.

"Go ahead. Like you said, it's almost too easy." Emerald said, making illusions of herself to overwhelm Yang, before she attacked.

Ren noticed Mercury coming towards them and prepared to fend him off. "Stay back! You won't touch them!" He snapped, rushing in and trading blows with Mercury.

Jaune looked up at Mercury approaching, before looking back down to me. "Sai, please! You have to get up! It can't end like this! You just got Pyrrha back! And Nora's having your baby right now! You have to be there for them! We need you! We can't do it without you!" He pleaded.

Suddenly, the sound of a baby crying could be heard, Jaune and Draco looking towards the tent Saphyra made to see Nora now holding a child wrapped up in a pink blanket, a few strands of peach-colored hair on her head. Nora then looked to Pyrrha. "Pyrrha, please. Take me to Sai. He has to see this." Nora told her. Pyrrha was unsure at first, but soon nodded, picking up her teammate and carrying her over to me. "Look, Sai... It's our baby. A little girl. Our little Sora Don't you wanna see her? Come on... Open your eyes." She pleaded, holding our child closer to me, only a few inches from my face, uncaring that my face was currently that of a demon. The little girl managed to pull her arms out of the blanket and put both hands on my face, trying to get my attention.

"Please, Sai! Get up! It wasn't supposed to be like this! We can't lose anyone else! We can't lose you." Jaune pleaded.

"Sai... Please..." Pyrrha cried. Suddenly, they all felt a bright light and looked to see Jaune's hands, which he held over some of my wounds, were glowing and those wounds were healing. "The wounds... They're healing. Jaune... It's your semblance!" Pyrrha told him happily.

"I can't believe it..." Jaune said happily.

Then suddenly, Ruby woke up. "W-what happened?" She asked.

Draco popped up beside her. "Oh, hey Rubes! Plot synopsis, you used your silver eyes, Emerald knocked you out, but Cinder still got hurt, Sai protected his kid from the silver eyes, kid thanked him by almost murdering him, now we're kind of outnumbered because you two went down and Nora was having her kid, so most of us were on defense. But now you're up and she had the kid, which means we're all back on offense!" Draco shouted, before rushing in at Hazel. "Dynamic Entry!" He declared, landing a double flying kick on the massive brute, causing him to let go of Damion as he was sent flying.

"Nice timing." Damion said as he got back to his feet.

As that happened, Weiss flew past Mercury and swiped his legs out from under him, before attacking Emerald, who was forcing Yang to fight an illusion of her mother. "Done daydreaming yet?" She asked.

"Very funny." Yang huffed, but smirked.

Ruby looked around and smiled to see everyone working together and winning once more, looking to Lionheart up top, still fighting with Qrow, before she shot the headmaster in his shoulder, forcing him to run.

"Coward!" Phoenix snapped at him, before looking back at Saphyra and blocking an attack from her.

Ruby smirked at the headmaster's retreat, before looking back to Jaune, Nora and Pyrrha. "You guys got Sai and the baby?" She asked.

"Of course. I lost him once. I won't lose him again." Pyrrha said, readying her weapons, which Saphyra had recreated for her before fighting Phoenix.

Ruby smiled at this and ran back to join her team. Nora smiled at this and looked to our daughter. "It's gonna be okay, sweetie. Daddy's gonna get up any minute. I know it." She told her, to which she let out a coo and touched my face again. And this time, I felt the warmness and started to smile, my eyes fluttering a bit in an attempt to open.

In the sub-levels of the academy, Raven and Cinder moved towards the vault slowly and cautiously. Raven no longer had Vernal as her decoy for the Spring Maiden powers. One wrong move and Cinder could easily take her. On the other hand, her guard was clearly up and Cinder was also being apprehensive about fighting a Maiden who likely had just as much, if not more control over her powers than she did. They reached the halfway point, before Cinder stopped and smirked. "This is where I have to stop. Only the presence of the Spring Maiden opens the door. And who knows if the presence of anyone else might stop the process. We can't take that risk, surely you understand." Cinder explained.

"Fine..." Raven agreed, turning to face Cinder and walking backward towards the vault, hand still at the ready on her sword.

She soon reached the vault door and placed a hand upon it, but something wasn't right. "You have to be facing the vault, Raven. That's simply how it was designed." Cinder called back to her.

"Damn." Raven cursed under her breath at this, turning to face the vault. But of course, the instant she did that, Cinder suddenly shot out her new hybrid Grimm/Demon arm at her, intent on stealing the powers. However, Raven suddenly changed into her bird form, narrowly avoiding the attack, before changing back to her human form, slicing at the monstrous appendage, but Cinder narrowly pulled it back at the last second. "You couldn't simply wait until I was in the process of opening the door, could you? You're impatient and predictable. And that's why you'll lose!" She declared, putting her hand on her sword again.

"Fine. I could've given you an easy way out. But I guess a meal's always better when you work for it." Cinder declared, making a pair of swords to fight with.
