"Half-blood"
- Aster discovers that what happened in 'Pooka Jack' wasn't a glitch and Jack can shapeshift from human to pooka and back without the potions.
- The first time it happens Jack missed it.
- He and Aster were relaxing under a tree, when a butterfly tried to land on his nose, making Jack sneeze and shapeshift, shocking the hell out of his father.
- Thirty seconds later, when the kid sneezes again and shifts back, Aster is still gaping.
- He blames everything on stress, insomnia and North's eggnog and doesn't mention anything to Jack. The next day, he managed to convince himself he imagined the whole thing.
- Everything changes at the next Guardian meeting when Jack sneezes again.
ROTG
"Death never forgets"
- The Guardians end up having to speak with the Spirit of Death.
- Lia jumps in front of Axel not taking her eyes off of Death and Jack hides behind Aster.
- Jack and Axel avoid looking in the direction of the Spirit.
ROTG
"The Immortal Games AU"
- Jack and Kai's relationship is similar, but not entirely the same.
- Inspired by 'Pixie Hollow Games', where Kai would be Rumble and Jack will be Glimmer.
- The Games are the only time of the year where the two of them put aside their rivalry and mostly ignore each other. The games are every five years and the Winter team won the least 4 games (the ones Jack played).
- No team ever won five games in a row.
ROTG
"Nightmare 2"
- Aster's nightmare this time.
- Something along the lines of Jack getting hurt/killed and blaming him, with a glimpse of Sara at the end screaming at him and then dying.
- It would however end up sweet with Jack coming in his room to wake him up and then snuggling the rest of the night.
ROTG
"Special"
- Tangled crossover
- Jack is the only seasonal ever made by the Moon instead of Mother Nature, which is why he gets a couple of extra powers.
- The first one (canon) where he can make someone smile with just one snowflake.
- And the second one is healing. He discovered it when he was with Fynn and Lia and she sang him a song she remembered from her grandmother. They're walking and Fynn's holding him in his arms and his hair starts to glow, turning a soft blue. The black eye Fynn had disappears.
- He can heal animals and plants, too. But he can't heal himself.
- There's an incident where a spirit hears the song and thinks he could steal some of the power for himself. He cuts a small strand of his hair while he's sleeping. It turns brown and loses the power.
- Jack doesn't sing out loud unless it's a life or death situation.
- Some seasonals know he can heal; they just don't know how. Most still think it's a rumor.
- The Spirit World doesn't know. Fynn doesn't want them to. Doesn't even like the seasonals knowing.
- The spring sprites that know are jealous. They tell everyone that it's not true every time it comes up.
- Aster is confused when the plants in the Warren start growing ridiculously fast. It's been years since he last used magic on them.
- The ones he was convinced they've been dead for a couple of months now couldn't be healthier.
ROTG
"The truth hurts AU"
- Jack doesn't find out Aster is his dad.
- The missing stone is affecting the seasonals a little more visibly, so when he finds North and Aster his hair is half brown and his eyes are slowly turning green.
- He tries to play the whole thing down, but the two Guardians are still alarmed.
- Lia and Axel come when he fails to meet up with them in time and Jack used the distraction to fly out the window.
- The two seasonals prepare to go after him and the Guardians look ready to follow with or without permission, but then Axel stiffens and gasps, dropping to his knees. Half of his wine colored hair turns blonde. Sweat drips from his brow, he's paler than before.
- Lia curses and barks a don't you dare move at Axel and a stay with him at the Guardians, then rushes out the window yelling Jack's name.
- Aster runs after her towards the snowbank Jack crashed-landed in.
- Only three strands of hair are still white, his eyes barely have any blue in them, his skin is grey, making him look dead.
- Fear creeps into Aster as he realizes Jack isn't moving.
ROTG
"Sara AU"
- Aster and Sara are at the peak of their relationship. The spring spirits haven't talked with Aster yet and everything is perfect.
- Then Sara dies saving a little girl, and drowns in the lake.
- Mother Nature gets to her first and brings her back as a wind spirit, but she wakes up without any memories.
- Two days later Aster finds out she died and is devastated.
- He doesn't find out she's a spirit until 130 years later when the two of them literally ran into each other, giving Aster the shock of his life.
- He finally gets her to listen to him and Tooth helps with the memories, they get back together and get married and have Jack.
- Nine years later, Pitch shows up and lures them on an island. In the following battle Sara gets killed and Jack gets thrown in the sea and drowns.
- The Man in the Moon turns him into a winter spirit and the rest follows more or less the 'What if' chapters.
ROTG
"What the future holds"
- In 1634 one of North's spell books locks the Guardians in a room and shows them glimpses of the future.
- They think they're seeing only one future, but the future isn't set in stone which is why they're seeing possible futures of all the AUs and more.
Conon (Jack and Aster finding out after the movie)
'What if Au' (Sara and Aster get married and have Jack, Sara and Jack die and 300 years later the moon names Jack a Guardian)
'Sara Au'
- Aster thinks he marries a badass mortal woman and has an incredible shapeshifting son. Then the moon turns her into a wind sprite and gives Jack winter powers.
- He's seeing Sara and Jack joking and singing and fighting and the stuff they get away with is ridiculous. Standing up for everyone, arguing with authority, conning people, winning everything, saving anyone.
- He's seeing an older Aster, looking exactly the same and different at the same time.
- He's still arguing with North but now there's a small pooka that falls in his hands from nowhere and Aster doesn't even stop talking.
- 'Whatever it is I did, I have proof I didn't do it.'
- There's a short scene where Jack is biting his lip and just goes "Grounded?" like he's answering a question. Aster doesn't even blink. "Forever."
- A silver haired Sara shaking her head at Aster, amused. 'I can wait to see how you handle the teen years.'
- 'Can I go, too?' 'After I'm dead. Plus three days – to make sure I'm dead.'
- Another scene has Aster opening and closing his mouth a few times before just going "How?!" and Jack shrugging "We found him buried in a tomb in an Aztec temple in Mexico, ... underneath a church in the middle of a town ... that was destroyed by an earth quake." "You told me you went to visit Val." "And we were! In - In Mexico..."
- The Guardians surveying a scene. Everything is tense for about ten seconds before Jack proclaims "I'll go!" and jumps forward. Aster catches him by the back of his hoodie without even looking in his direction.
- All three of them bicker constantly, and it's hilarious and filled with nicknames, and Aster has a family.
- The four Guardians are seeing a mash up of good segments from all possible futures.
- And then the scene changes and Jack's not moving.
ROTG
"Arrow"
- The Guardians are fighting Pitch.
- A Nightmare managed to knock Jack's staff out of his hand and ropes tied around his legs to keep him in place so Pitch can shoot a special arrow at him.
- Aster jumps in front of him and the arrow grazes his arm.
- Pitch smirks at them and disappears.
- The next day Aster starts acting weird. Snapping and growling and snarling at everyone, including Jack.
- The cut on his arm isn't healing – it's turning black and the fur around turns into a dark grey.
- Things escalate until his eyes turn black and he feels like he fainted except he's still on his feet in the same room in the Warren, except at the other end of it. Then his vision clears and Jack's on the ground with his back in the corner and his hair is even messier than usual. His hoodie has claw marks in it, his left wrist looks sprained and he's got a split lip.
- Aster's instincts kick in and he rushes forward, only to stop dead in his tracks because Jack flinched. He feels blood on his hand dripping on the floor and he can't look away from the cut on Jack's cheek.
- He taps his foot on the ground and watches the kid jump up trying to avoid the tunnel as he yelled for him to stop. Jack still falls through, screaming the whole way to the Pole – about how he was fine, how they'll fix it together.
- It makes Aster's dread and horror grow, because this wasn't some random kid – this was Jack – Sara's kid.
- If it happened before Jack wouldn't have said anything. He would have gotten closer. To try to help.
- Because he knew his dad would ship him as far as possible once he knew.
- Aster sealed off the Warren.
- Pitch gets through and Aster eyes turn black.
- There's a fight and Pitch sneaks up from behind and stabs Jack. Aster snaps out of it and almost rips Pitch apart.
- Jack blacked out, but healed enough a few days later to wake up.
- Aster promises to never kick him out again.
ROTG
"Songbird"
- Valentin (the Spirit of Valentine's day) was asked to handle the music for the annual Spirit's 4th of July party, but in his head there's not enough time to prepare the perfect show.
- The stress turns him into a workaholic perfectionist making the spirits that agreed to sing and be recorded flee after one song.
- Jack, who inherited his mother's incredible voice, owes Val a favor and gets stuck recording song after song until he loses his voice.
- He spends the following week trying not to speak in the hopes of getting better and trying not to let it show how terrifying the thought of never singing again is. Of losing the one connection he had with his mother.
(Inspired by 'I am Hannah, hear me croak')
Or it could be something like "The little mermaid" where Jack trades his voice for one piece of the stone or something to buy them some time.
ROTG
"Regret"
- Fynn dies.
- Jack and Lia mourn.
- Aster finds out Fynn tried to convince the kid to come with him, shortly after Jack started living in the Warren.
- The kid refused and now he's feeling guilty for not trying harder to help him.
(Loosely based on 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Last Olympian' when Luke tries to convince Annabeth to help him escape Cronos, by running away with him, and she refuses.)
ROTG
"Poison 2"
- Jack wakes up, but he can't remember Aster.
- His memories of the last months spend with the rest of the Guardians are blurry, too.
- The time he spent cuddling with his father in the Warren? He thinks he spent it alone in a snow bank in Antarctica.
- Watching North's new toy train fly around his office? He thinks he was there on Seasonal business and the old Guardian got distracted. He doesn't remember Aster being next to him at all.
- There is no recollection of the battle of Burgess what-so-ever.
- Aster feels like he's going to be sick. This Jack barely even looks at him and when he does, it's filled with annoyance and distrust. He knows of the Easter Bunny and that he's supposedly mad at him over the blizzard of '68.
- North and Sandy try to calm down Aster.
- Tooth, Axel and Lia talk with Jack, trying to get him to remember without outright telling him what he forgot.
- At one point, the kit gets fed up with all the whispers and the fussing. 'You know what? I'll come back when you're finished.' And makes a move to fly out.
- It snaps Aster in action.
Let me know what you think.
