Abby makes her way outside stretching intaking the fresh air. She looks around sees her grandchildren are playing with Ark children. Laughter coming out of her grandchildren. She smiles and awes at them. Abby scans the area for her daughter and Lexa. She walks over to them and awes at that peacefulness.
"Can we help you, Abbi?" Lexa announced, being hyper-aware of her surroundings.
"Just taking in how peaceful you both look, under the tree and Clarke guarded within your arms. I've never seen her so in love with someone other than her father." Abby explained, looking at her daughter so content.
"As you know, we're soul mates. I'll do everything in my power to give her everything and anything she wants." Lexa said, opening her eyes looking down at Clarke.
"Even if she asks to be nightblood too?" Abby is hesitant at her own question.
"Are you saying you know how to make nightblood?" Lexa asked, looking up at Abbi.
"If that's what my daughter wants, to be like you three. I'll do that for her, but will you willing to give me blood samples so I could create it?" Abby asked Lexa again.
"If that's what she wants, I will gladly give you blood samples. Our blood can resist high levels of radiation and we heal faster than normal people with red blood. If we were ever to be bonded together, generally it's between two nightbloods. But it would have to be Klark's choice, not mine. I will never force it on her to be like us." Lexa explained looking back down at the sleeping Klark.
"Bonded? As in a marriage?" Abby questioned.
"In a sense, yes. Our cultures are different. Bonding to the grounders is more diplomatic. I'll explain it to you later when your daughter isn't sleeping in my lap." Lexa said, not wanting Klark to wake up in the middle of the discussion, that she plans on doing someday.
"Okay, we'll still need to continue trades with the boat people. When Clarke's motherly senses took a turn. Also, lunch is ready. The children would want to eat soon to recharge their energy to play some more." Abby said, looking back at the children playing. Noticing they're getting tired.
"And a nap for Madi too. Before she starts to get cranky. She gets that from Klark." Lexa said, looking over at her children.
"Clarke was a lot of trouble trying to put her down for a nap after a meal when she was younger." Abby mentioned.
Lexa lightly shakes Clarke's shoulder to wake her up. Clarke stirs in her place, stretches, and yawns. Almost hitting Lexa behind her with arms frailing during her stretching.
"Hey, watch where you are swinging your arms." Lexa commented, bobbing and weaving from her lover's arms.
"It's okay you can take it." Clarke retorted, standing up, stretching out her legs.
"Let's gather the children, Abbi said that lunch is ready." Lexa mentioned also stands up stretching her numb legs, for sitting too long.
"Madi! Aden! Time to eat!" Octavia shouted, across the way getting their attention.
Both Madi and Aden turn their heads at their Aunt and sees their mothers are awake again. They sprint towards them, Madi holding her hands up for Leksa to pick her up. Lexa picks her up, in her arms and they start walking back into Ark.
The alarm goes off in Bellamy's quarters. Echo grabs her knife ready to attack. Bellamy rolls over into Echo, putting his hand on her thigh.
"Relax, it's just an alarm. Lunch is ready." Bellamy explained, nuzzling his nose in the back of Echo's neck.
"We should get up then. I'm hungry after this morning's attempted murder on Heda and sex with you." Echo said, rolling over facing him, running her fingers down his chest to his toned abs.
"Hmmm, keep that up, I'll have you for lunch instead" Bellamy mentioned, kissed her, then pulls away. Pulling the bedsheets off him onto her, swinging his legs to the side of the bed. Feeling pain in his shoulder.
"Shit...I forgot about this." He commented, looking at the bandage.
"Let me change that before we go." Echo said, sitting up grabbing the bandages off the end table beside the bed.
Echo gets up wrapping the bedsheet around her, kneels in front of Bellamy, taking the old bandage off and replacing it with a new one. Bellamy pulls Echo off the floor onto his lap to straddle him, he kisses her then trailing kisses down her neck and exposed collarbone. Echo pulls away from him and gets off him. Putting on her clothes.
"I'm hungry for some real food. Or whatever food Skaikru provides." Echo commented, holstering her knife to her hip.
"Fine." Bellamy mentioned, getting up and gets dressed they leave his quarters together.
Everyone has gathered in the mess hall, Madi sitting in between Lexa and Clarke. Aden in between Clarke and Lincoln. Octavia beside Lincoln. Ivan, Sean, Zaan sit on the other side of Heda. They all sit with backs against the wall, so they could see who is coming into the entryway and they could see who's still giving them dirty looks from across the room.
Echo and Bellamy finally join everyone in the mess hall. Madi's eyes light up and leave her seat running to her new uncle. She raises her arms in the air for him to pick her up. Bellamy picks her up on his good side not to strain his injury.
"Uncle Bell! Will you sit with us?! Pleaseeeee?" Madi asked, giving him her adorable eyes that he can't say no to.
"Sure Kid, whatever you say. I'm going to sit next to my sister. Is that alright with you?" Bellamy replied, asking her permission where he's going to sit.
"Okay!" Madi yelled, all happily.
Bellamy places Madi, back down in between Heda and Clarke, then moves down the row sitting next to his sister, and Echo sits next to him.
"Echo? Anything you would like to share?" Lexa asked, looking down the row of people at her.
"Nothing that I could find, Heda. After the incident with that squirrely Jasper guy. Everything is calm, but we shouldn't take it too lightly. We never know what's headed our way." Echo said, giving Heda a sitrep.
Abby, Kane, Monty, and Harper hands out meal trays to everyone at the table. They sit across from everyone else so they could talk.
"Where's Raven?" Bellamy asked, digging into his meal.
"Probably, getting her photos together to show Clarke and Heda." Octavia commented, shrugging her shoulders eating her meal.
"What photos?" Clarke asked, looking at her friend.
"You'll see, soon enough." Echo mentioned with a smirk on her face.
"I don't know if, I should be scared or not." Clarke mumbled, in between each bite.
Raven finally strolls into the mess hall. Sits down in front of them with a huge smile on her face.
"What is it?" Clarke asked, both her and Lexa staring at her.
"I have a surprise for you both." Raven mentioned.
"I'm waiting." Lexa said, feeling the meal she just ate turning.
Raven laid out a series of photos of them.
Lexa and Clarke pick them up and just marvels over them.
"Raven, these are beautiful." Clarke mentioned, looking at the photo of all four of them sleeping under the tree.
"I wanted to capture these moments. We don't see them often. We don't see you both often either. Knowing you're both at the Capitol ruling. We'll feel thankful, it took a long journey for all of us to get to this point. Those that come after us will be able to relive the eventful days." Raven explained.
