At the President's office, the President walked back and fourth, feeling troubled with thoughts about the latest news about Eggman. "Eggman Escapes. The press will have a field day! And I don't blame them. We nab the world's greatest menace, and let him slip right through our fingers. How could this have happened?!" He stopped pacing and stared ahead. "We just have to do whatever it takes to find him!" He said aloud. "He's out there somewhere, dreaming up another scheme to take over the world! We have to capture him before he strikes again!"
"I think it's got to be your number one priority, sir." Topaz suddenly said, standing near the doorway. The President smiled at her. "Topaz!"
"He's probably hiding under a rock, with the rest of the worms." Rouge the Bat said, crossing her arms.
"Hello, Rouge." The President said, smiling at the bat by the window.
"Do you have any idea where Eggman might be, sir?" Topaz asked the President.
"No, but we have agents everywhere looking high and low for him."
...
Mr. Stewart stood alone in an ally, holding a pair of spy goggles. "This won't be easy." He mumbled to himself. "Eggman could be anywhere!" He leaned in closer with his goggles, sighing a little.
...
"If you two could track down Eggman and put him out of business, you can name your own reward!"
"Really?" Rouge asked.
"Gold, diamonds, rubies, whatever you want!"
"I love them all." Rouge smirked. "They're bright and beautiful. Like me!" She chuckled.
"Oh, brother." Topaz muttered from the doorway.
The President just looked serious. "Just find Eggman!" He ordered.
...
After school, Penny, Kat, Francis, Helen, Chris, and Danny walked out of school together. Danny pushed Helen in her wheelchair as they walked and talked about the school day.
"I wonder what adventure Sonic's having today." Chris suddenly said.
"He sure is lucky!" Helen smiled up at Chris, Kat, and Penny. "Sonic gets to travel all around and having fun and helping people!"
"Don't forget about Silver." Penny grinned. "He is Sonic's partner, after all!"
"Oh, yeah!" Francis grinned at Penny. "Now who could forget about him?"
"Chris? Penny? Did either Sonic or Silver tell you where they were running off to today?" Danny asked.
"Penny asked Sonic, and I asked Silver." Chris grinned.
"You did?" Francis asked, excitement in her voice. Chris nodded. "Yeah. They both said they'd no where they were going when they got there!"
"That's kinda funny!" Helen giggled.
"That's Sonic and Silver." Penny smiled. And Helen giggled.
"They are always up for adventure." Kat said. "I wonder what Hiro's doing right now..."
"Hi, Penny and Chris!" The familiar soft voice of Cream the Rabbit and the chaoing of her chao friend Cheese suddenly came from across the road. Penny grinned happily at the little bunny, and she waved to them. Ermel was with them as well.
"Cream! Cheese! Emerl!" Penny waved at them.
"Hi!" Kat called happily, waving at the bunny, robot, and the little chao.
"Hey you guys!" Chris grinned at them. "I didn't expect to see you down here!"
...
"Cheese and I wanted to give Emerl a tour of the neighborhood. Next we're planning to show him the park!" Cream explained as they walked down the trail together.
Chris smiled at his friends. "Penny, Cream, and Cheese found this robot in my yard, and now he's staying at our house, too!"
"That's cool!" Helen said, smiling at Emerl. Emerl sheepishly scratched his head.
"Hi, Emerl!" Kat waved a tiny bit at the robot. "I don't believe we met yet."
The robot slowly waved his hand in the same motion that Kat did.
"There's Mr. Stewart!" Francis suddenly said, pointing ahead. Penny glanced up ahead and saw their former teacher doing something strange. He was standing by a huge, round hollow tree.
...
"Hmmm." Mr. Stewart mumbled to himself as he stood near the tree. "I wonder. This tree is huge, and if the trunk is hollow, Eggman could be hiding inside." He took out a spy stethoscope and started listening closely in the tree.
For a moment, nothing.
But a moment later, Decoe and Bocoe, Eggman's robot henchmen, actually jumped from the tree and ran off, yelling.
"THEY'RE ON OUR TRAIL!" Decoe cried.
"WE MUST WARN DR. EGGMAN!" Bocoe yelped.
"HEY!" Mr. Stewart yelled. He started to take off...
"Mr. Stewart?" The voice of his former students stopped him immediately. He looked behind the tree to see Danny, Kat, Francis, Helen, Penny, Chris, Cream, Cheese, and Ermel watching curiously. Mr. Stewart panicked and tried hiding behind the hollow tree, but the kids walked up to him with curiosity.
"What's wrong, Mr. Stewart?" Chris asked.
"Are you playing hide and seek with somebody?" Helen asked.
"I think he's a little too old to be playing hide and seek." Penny pointed out to Helen.
"Oh. Right." Helen said. "Good point."
Mr. Stewart thought quick and pulled out his spy binoculars. "No, I'm bird watching." He said quickly and uneasily.
"Hey, let me see!" Danny raced up and took the binoculars-which were a pare of spy binoculars-from Mr. Stewart's hand. To his surprise, from the little hill they were standing on, he could see all the way into the city.
"Whoa!" Danny breathed. "You can see everything with these!"
"Danny," Francis said. "Let me try!" Danny was about to hand them to Francis, when a familiar person caught his eyes.
"Hey. That's Dr. Eggman!" Danny gasped.
Mr. Stewart jumped.
"Looks like he's buying a book." Danny continued.
"Really?!" Kat and Chris asked at the same time.
"What type of book?" Penny asked in curiosity.
"My turn!" Mr. Stewart took the binoculars away from Danny and zoomed in. "It IS him..." He muttered.
"AWESOME!" Francis grinned. "If we hurry, we can catch him!"
The other kids cheered in agreement.
"NO!" Mr. Stewart cried. "You can't! Capturing Dr. Eggman is too dangerous! That's a job for the police. I'll phone the authorities and let them know. You kids should go home immediately! Do not go after Dr. Eggman, understand? Don't even think about trying it! Okay?"
"I think Mr. Stewart is right that we should all head home." Cream suddenly pipped up.
"Are you sure?" Penny asked in disappointment.
"I was hopping for some sort of adventure today." Kat mumbled.
"I think we should go." Chris sighed.
The kids told Mr. Stewart their goodbyes and headed off towards their homes.
When they were gone, Mr. Stewart pulled his binoculars out again. "I'll tail Dr. Eggman and try to figure out what his next move is!"
Mr. Stewart watched the whole thing through the spy binoculars. Eggman walk to the curb of the road, and lift his foot in the air, since his hands were full of books. "Yo! Taxi!" Eggman ordered. The taxi cab drove up. Mr. Stewart let out a panic yelp and dove into his car. However, before he even put the keys in the car, Chris, Penny, Danny, Kat, Francis, Helen, Emerl, Cream, and Cheese laughed as they hopped in the back seat. Penny sat in the front seat next to Mr. Stewart.
"HEY!" Mr. Stewart yelped at them. "WHAT DO YOU KIDS THINK YOU'RE DOING HERE?!" He was sweat dropping. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE ALL GOING HOME!"
"You can drive us all home." Kat smirked. "After we catch Dr. Eggman, of course."
"It's only fair." Penny grinned from the front seat.
Mr. Stewart groaned in defeat. "Great..." He mumbled.
He drove off.
...
Over at the Thorndyke mansion, Sonic sat relaxing on the rooftop.
"Sonic!"
Sonic opened his eyes.
"SONIC!"
The blue hedgehog looked down from the rooftop to see Chuck standing there, his face full of worry. "I couldn't find Silver, so I decided to ask you. Do you know if Penny or Chris had anything special to do after school today?" He asked. "They haven't arrived back home yet! Cream, Cheese are also missing!"
At that, Sonic zoomed off.
"I hope they're okay." Chuck said, his face lined with worry.
...
Mr. Stewart, Penny, Danny, Francis, Kat, Cream, Cheese, and Emerl had continued their drive after Dr. Eggman. Penny leaned forward in the front seat as she kept her eyes on the taxi Eggman was in.
"The taxi's pulling over!" Danny announced.
He was right. Penny watched as Dr. Eggman's taxi screeched to a stop in front of a building in an old ally. Mr. Stewart stopped his car in a safe distance. They watched in silence as Eggman hopped out.
"Where's he going...?" Chris muttered from the back.
When the taxi pulled away, however, everyone besides Mr. Stewart gasped in shock when they realized that Eggman was no where to be found.
"He got out..." Penny muttered. "But he disappeared!"
"There are no fire escapes in this ally, and I don't see any doors." Francis said.
"Me neither." Kat said. "Where could he have gone?"
Mr. Stewart frowned. He got to his knees, and the kids watched with curiosity as he pulled out some type of stethoscope that they had never seen before. He placed the cuff of the equipment to the ground.
"What are you doing, Mr. Stewart?" Penny asked curiously. Mr. Stewart said nothing as he listened closely for a moment. Finally, he heard someone walking from underground. He stood up. "Eggman's underground!" He announced.
"WHAT?!" Chris gasped.
"Underground?!" Kat asked.
"How fast did he get there?!" Penny wondered in curiosity. She watched as Mr. Stewart pointed to a stairs leading to sewer water. "There!"
Soon, Penny found herself yelling in fright along with Kat, Chris, Danny, Francis, Helen, Cream, Cheese, and Emerl as Mr. Stewart drove his car down the staircase leading to the sewers. Penny shrieked and clung to the window of the car and her seat belt as the car landed in the water. Thinking quick, Mr. Stewart transformed his car into boat mode. Penny and the other passengers cheered in excitement.
They had drove for a while when Penny heard Danny scream in the back.
"What's the matter, Danny?" Penny asked, looking to the back. Danny was looking so freaked out, and he slowly pointed right at Penny's seat. "THERE'S A LIZARD IN THE CAR!" He screamed.
"Where?" Francis, Penny, and Helen asked.
Danny frantically lifted his finger to the head of Penny's seat. "Th-there!"
Helen, Francis, Kat, and Penny looked to where he was pointing. "Awww!" The girls cooed. Penny gently picked up the lizard in her hands and gently tossed it off.
Danny sighed in relief, sitting back in between Francis and Helen. "Danny, you don't really believe that harmless little lizard was going to hurt you?" Helen asked.
Danny glanced at her. "You're not scared of lizards?"
"Nope!" She grinned. "I catch them all the time!"
"Oh, really?" Danny asked like he didn't believe her.
Kat nodded. "She catches snakes and bugs too!"
Penny giggled as Danny cringed at the thought of Helen patting a spiky purple caterpillar, giggling. He scooted away from Helen.
"You must be crazy!" He said, his eyes wide.
"You're a baby!" Helen scolded.
"That's enough." Mr. Stewart scolded the kids. "This is no time to start an argument. Remember, we came to stop Eggman."
Penny smiled at Cream, Cheese, and Emerl. Cream and Cheese were giggling, while Emerl the Robot was sitting there well behaved. Suddenly, Chris leaned forward in his seat and let out a startled yell. "AHH!"
Penny looked ahead, and her eyes widened to see Dr. Eggman floating ahead of them in his Egg Mobile. She held on tight to the car as Mr. Stewart pressed on the pedal, and zoomed after the doctor. Penny gasped a little when Dr. Eggman turned around, smirking at them.
"Faster, Mr. Stewart!" Danny said excitedly as everyone yelled in excitement. "Don't let him get away!"
Eggman turned around again to see Mr. Stewart and the others chasing him in a car not too far behind. "I'll stop them with my network!" He smirked, and pressed a button. Penny, Mr. Stewart, and everyone else let out a startled yell as the net landed on top of them.
...
While that frightening moment was happening, Rouge and Topaz were taking a quick desert break in a nearby fancy restaurant. Rouge hummed as she took a bite out of her vanilla ice cream.
"How's your desert?" Topaz asked as she took a bite out of hers as well.
"Dreamy." Rouge smiled.
A gush of wind rustled right past them.
"Instead of eating, we should be looking for Eggman." Topaz reminded Rouge. Rouge smiled. "I'm sure he'll turn up sooner." She promised. "Eggman's too full of himself to stay out of the spotlight long."
Topaz nodded in agreement. "That's true." She hummed. She felt a strong breeze around her, and Topaz looked up. "It's certainty has gotten breezy. You don't suppose it's Sonic, do you?"
Rouge smirked, taking another spoonful of ice cream. "I'm sure it's him! I wonder what he's up to."
Sonic swooped past them again, and Rouge called out to him. "Sonic!"
Sonic zoomed to a stop in front of them.
"Why are you whipping around like a tornado?" The bat asked him curiously. Sonic looked serious. "I'm looking for Penny and Chris." He explained.
"How come?" Topaz asked curiously.
"They never came home from school!" Sonic continued. "Cream and Cheese are missing, too!"
Rouge smiled at him. "If you happen to run into Eggman, let us know!"
Sonic smirked back, chuckling. He gave the girls a nod before zooming off again.
Topaz and Rouge went back to their desert. "I think I'll have some coffee." Rouge said after a moment. Topaz smiled down at her. "Yeah, me too!"
...
Once again, Penny had been captured by Eggman. But to her relief, she wasn't alone this time. She was surrounded by Mr. Stewart, who she suspected was a spy, and her younger brother, Chris, and Kat, Cream, Cheese, Ermel, Danny, Francis, and Helen. They were all together in a cell.
Eggman laughed as he stared at his group of prisoners.
"Excuse me?" Helen suddenly asked. "How come you're carrying around all those books?"
Eggman smirked at her. "I'm doing some research for my new attack plan!"
"What do you plan on doing?" Chris asked the doctor curiously.
"It's going to be big!" Eggman caught himself and jumped back. "You shouldn't be so nosy, kid! Especially when you're trapped in the sewer!"
"Doctor Eggman!" Decoe and Bocoe called as they walked up to their boss. Decoe held a black box in his hands. Eggman growled at his robots. "What do you two bolt-heads want?"
"Look!" Decoe opened the case and dropped its items on the floor. "We found this inside the car!"
Mr. Stewart gave a startled yelp, and Penny stared at her former teacher with suspicion.
Bocoe looked up at Mr. Stewart and pointed at him. "It must belong to him!" He said accusingly.
"Oh! Uh..." Mr. Stewart stuttered. Now he was in trouble.
"Why do you have this equipment?" Bocoe continued. "Are you a spy?!"
"O-of course not!" Mr. Stewart panicked.
Eggman sneered at the former teacher. "Then what are you so nervous about?"
Danny smirked at Francis. "I thought spies where supposed to be cool, not wimpy."
"I know!" Francis said. "Try to imagine Mr. Stewart as a spy!"
Mr. Stewart looked so panicked, Penny thought he might pass out. Luckily he didn't. Eggman stared at Mr. Stewart. "Professional spies stay cool under pressure." Eggman pointed out. "He's shaking like a goldfish in a shark tank!" He turned to the rest of the prisoners. "Sorry to leave you, but I have to go prepare my next mind-blowing attack! Toodaloo!"
Eggman left, and Mr. Stewart let out a sigh of relief.
"Why do you look so relieved?!" Decoe asked. "Maybe he is a spy after all!"
Mr. Stewart jumped. He tried to think of a good excuse. "I'm a school teacher!" He said.
"It's true!" Helen said, standing up for their teacher. "He used to be our teacher, until he got transferred."
Mr. Stewart looked even more relieved. "There. You see?"
Penny smiled at Decoe and Bocoe. "Hey, why not tell us what Dr. Eggman's next brilliant attack is, and when it's happening? What's he building this time?"
"Yeah!" Kat said. "I'm dying with curiosity over here!"
"You will not get any information out of us!" Decoe growled.
"We will never talk!" Bocoe added. "Because Dr. Eggman never tells us anything!"
Both robots started to cry. "We get no respect!"
"And no time off, either!" Decoe said. Penny looked at both robots sympathetically. They were both crying. Wow. Working for Dr. Eggman must be tough.
"We'd better go dry our tears before we rust!" Bocoe whimpered, and he and Decoe walked away, crying.
"Those two should get their bolts tightened." Mr. Stewart sighed. Penny nodded. Cream tugged at Penny, and Penny looked down at the little rabbit girl. "We should try to get out while nobody's guarding us!" Cream suggested.
Penny nodded. "What do we do, Mr. Stewart?" She asked politely. Mr. Stewart walked up to Penny. "Penny, may I?" He asked, and retrieved a single hair clip from Penny's hair. The kids watched with curiosity as Mr. Stewart picked the lock, and the door suddenly swung open.
The kids gasped with delight.
"Who would've thought my hair clip would be the hero this time..." Penny whispered to the other kids, who giggled in response.
"SHH!" Mr. Stewart shushed the kids, and that got them to quiet down.
"Come." Mr. Stewart said. "We have to move fast!"
...
Mr. Stewart led them down the hall of the sewers. Chris turned to Francis. "Wouldn't it be cool if it turned out that Mr. Stewart really is a spy?"
Francis smirked at him. "In your dreams!"
Soon, they appeared with a door that was marked with the number one.
"I guess we're trapped." Kat said.
"Not yet." Mr. Stewart said, and he walked over to the door. "Let me show you a little chemistry experiment." He told the kids. He pulled out two bottles. "When I mix the acid in the blue bottle, with the chemical solution in the brown bottle, the reaction is very interesting." He ran back to the kids to block them from the explosion. "Now stay back!"
Penny shielded her eyes when the mixed formulas exploded, and the door opened.
"You did it!" Danny cheered.
They took off running once again. Mr. Stewart taking the lead, with Emerl the Robot following after him. Danny, Kat, Francis, Chris, Cream, and Cheese followed them as well, and Penny pushed Helen in her wheelchair. They were doing well when they stopped in front of a second door.
They were trapped once again.
...
Mr. Stewart plugged his laptop in the wall next to the door. He bent down near his laptop and started typing. "The only way to open this electronic lock is to find the password." After a few moments, he smiled. "Got it!" But paused when the face of Eggman appeared on the screen.
"Eggman?" Mr. Stewart mumbled.
"So all you have to do is type in Eggman to open the door?" Chris asked curiously. Mr. Stewart shook his head. "No, Chris. That would be too easy. Something's not right."
"Why not?" Helen asked.
"It's a trap!" He answered. He imagined himself typing in the password, and then the door exploding afterward. He panicked. He turned around to look at the awaiting kids behind them. "I can't take the chance and put the kids in danger." He thought.
"We'll have to get this door open another way!" Mr. Stewart told the rest of his students.
"But how?" Penny asked worriedly.
"Maybe we should try knocking!" Chris grinned at his friends.
"It would be easy to get out if we could only reach Sonic!" Penny muttered, hugging herself nervously. Chris nodded at his older sister. She was right. The two siblings started to look around for something that would send a message to Sonic. Something caught Penny's eyes and she poked her brother. "Chris, look up!" She said, pointing above her.
Chris looked up, and his eyes widened. "Hey, look! Bokkun!" He pointed to the little black messenger bot who was napping on the roof of the sewer door.
"He must know how to get us out of here!" Cream said.
Penny smirked a bit, and leaned over to Helen to whisper something in the girl's ear. Helen smiled, and nodded. She got into an acting pose, and clasped her hands. "I don't know how she does it, but Ella makes the most delicious apple pies in the world!"
Bokkun opened his eyes a bit at the words "apple pie".
Penny smirked. "You haven't had apple pie until you tasted Ella's apple pie!"
"APPLE PIE?!" Bokkun was suddenly fully awake, and the little robot quickly looked down to Penny, hope in his eyes. "Can I have some?!" He gasped, drooling with hunger.
"You can only taste Ella's apple pie if you go to Penny and Chris's house!" Kat smiled down to him. Chris nodded. "Go tell Ella you saw me and Penny here and that I said she should give you some pie!"
"You bet I will!" Bokkun cheered, and walked away, cheering. "WOO-HOO! APPLE PIE! HERE I COME!"
Penny smiled. "If he tells Ella we're here, then she'll let Sonic know, too!"
Helen smiled at her. "And he'll come save us!"
"That's right!" Chris grinned at her.
...
Bokkun opened the manhole cover, groaning in excitement at the thought of having Ella's apple pie. "Apple pie..." The little robot said excitedly. "Apple pie!" He stood up and looked around. "Which way now?" He gave a startled yelp when Sonic zoomed right past him. Sonic quickly sped back, stopping in front of the robot, who was spinning around dizzily. "Hiya, Bokkun." Sonic smirked. "Where are you going?"
"I saw Penny and Chris in the sewers and he sent me into his house for some apple pie!"
"Sewer?!" Sonic's eyes widened. He looked over to the manhole cover. "I didn't think to looking underground!" He hopped into the sewers. "Eggman's probably there." He turned to Bokkun. "Would you get a message for Topaz and Rouge for me, Pal?"
"NO!" Bokkun said stubbornly.
Sonic smirked knowingly. "If you like Ella's pies, you'll love her strawberry shortcake."
"STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE?!" Bokkun cried excitedly. He drooled even more at the thought of the delicious cake. "Will she make me one?!" The little robot pleaded.
Sonic smirked. "Only if you deliver my message!"
...
"Mmm." Topaz said as she bit into her chocolate desert. "The chocolate is even tastier than the vanilla."
"Delicious." Rouge nodded in agreement.
Bokkun suddenly flew down in front of them. "I have a message for you two from Sonic!" He announced.
"Hu?" Both agents asked in confusion.
"He's in the sewers!" Bokkun continued.
"The sewers?!" Topaz asked, confusion in her voice.
...
Penny, Kat, Chris, Danny, and Francis tried to break down the door together by punching it. Mr. Stewart shook his head. "It's no use." He said. "You're just wasting your energy!" He pushed his glasses up and muttered, "We have to think of something else..."
"There's no escape!" A familiar voice interrupted them. The sound of metal hitting the walls filled the escapee's ears, and they turned around to see Eggman in some sort of robotic spider ship.
"Eggman!" Penny, Chris, Kat, Danny, and Francis cried together.
Eggman snickered. "My Egg Spider will soon have you insects wrapped up in a web of misery!"
Mr. Stewart stepped in front of his students. "Back off!" He warned.
Eggman sneered at them. "Let's nix this nerd!" He raised the robot's claws at them, and Penny yelped behind Mr. Stewart, and braced herself.
But the hit didn't come. The sound of an object smashing and panicked yelling from Eggman and his goons filled Penny's ears, and Penny looked up to see Eggman's Egg Spider on the ground. Sonic hopped in front of Penny and the others.
"Sonic!" They cried happily.
Eggman growled in frustration. "BLAST YOU!" He yelled, and swung one of the robot's claws at Sonic, but the blue hedgehog managed to smash it with his head at ease. However, the second time, the blue speedster wasn't lucky enough. Penny's eyes widened with fright as the claw smashed Sonic in the wall, and held him there.
"SONIC!" Penny shrieked.
Hearing Penny yell his name, Sonic struggled harder to get out. Eggman snickered.
"HANG ON, SONIC!" A familiar feminine voice called out. Sonic looked down to see Topaz and Rouge running towards the group, along with Silver at their side. Rouge and Silver took a leap in the air.
Rouge did a spin kick, yelling, "SCREW KICK!" With a grunt, she freed the claw that held Sonic in place. "Thanks!" He called to her.
Emerl's blue eyes glowed a little. Cream and Penny looked at the robot curiously.
Silver used his psychokinesis powers to smash at the bot.
"I've had it with those hogs!" Eggman roared, unleashing his missiles. "FIRE!" He shot at the Mobians, but Rouge, Silver, and Sonic managed to dodge them with ease.
"Copy Rouge, Emerl!" Cream ordered, and Emerl copied Rouge's abilities with ease. The robot did a high spin in the air and smashed into the second door, startling Penny. Cream looked stunned as well. "Emerl broke down the door..." She muttered in wonder.
Emerl turned around and gave Eggman a spin kick right through the machine, and everyone took that chance to run out. "This way, everybody!" Mr. Stewart yelled. "We have to hurry!"
Eggman, as usual, survived the attack and was now in his Eggmobile. He looked down at Sonic and Silver. "Sonic. Silver. I always knew you were sewer rats!"
The hedgehogs growled at Eggman in response.
Eggman smirked. "'Till next time!" He laughed. He pressed a button on his mobile, but the mobile was so battered up that it exploded. Thankfully, Penny, Sonic, and the others walked out, coughing due to the chemicals. "Everybody okay?" Sonic asked.
"I think so..." Penny coughed. Sonic patted her back, though he was coughing as well.
"I'm good!" Kat called in between coughs.
"Everyone's accounted for." Mr. Stewart said. "Thanks, Sonic and Silver.
...
Finally, they made it home. "Ella?" Penny weakly called. Her throat was still sore from the coughing. "We're home."
Ella walked up to the group. "Thank goodness you're back." She said. "I was so worried. Your poor friend has been waiting hours for you to come home!"
Penny, Chris, Cream, and Cheese gave a yelp of surprise. Silver just looked confused, until his eyes drifted to Bokkun.
Yup, there was Bokkun, eating the strawberry shortcake and apple pie right in front of him. The little black robot had a huge smile on his face as he chowed down on his treats.
Sonic looked startled for a moment, and then he burst out laughing.
