Supernatural AU
It was another day at Barden high as kids arrived for school early in the morning. Student after student got to school either by bus or by driving, slowly as the parking lot filled with kids all standing by their cars, arrived Chloe Beale with her group. The group that included her best friend Aubrey, Amy, CR and lastly the outcast of the group, Stacie. Stacie was viewed as the outcast because unlike the others she didn't care for the popularity or attention, she just cared about good grades and being a good person. Truth be told she only hung out with the group because she'd known them since elementary school, and they all lived in the same neighborhood.
As they parked and walked out the car everyone turned their attention to the loud rumbling sound of an engine pulling into the parking lot.
"I swear her cars get louder and louder every day." Aubrey said annoyed.
"Her cars make more sound than she does." Amy commented.
Every student turned their attention towards the all black Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 that was pulling into a parking space. Once the car shut off and the engine died down, the owner of the car stepped out along with her passenger.
The driver stepped out wearing black skinny jeans, black tank top, black leather jacket and black combat boots.
The passenger stepped out wearing black skinny jeans, a red sweatshirt and black sneakers.
The two said something to one another before they made their way towards the school entrance.
As they walked by, Stacie and the driver of the car made eye contact with each other and Stacie could swear the girl gave her a small smile.
"Does anyone even know their names?" CR asked.
Everyone shook their heads except for Stacie.
"Beca and Emily." Stacie answered.
"How do you even know?" Chloe asked.
Stacie looked back to the group "I asked." She shrugged.
"And they told you?" Aubrey asked.
Stacie nodded "Yeah the taller one is actually extremely sweet. The shorter one isn't big on talking, it's funny actually how opposite they are." Stacie answered.
The rest of the group stared at Stacie confused as to how and when she actually talked to them. As far as they knew, no one had ever talked to those two or even heard them speak.
"Well ok then, let's just get this day over so the weekend can start." Chloe said as she walked towards the school entrance.
Later on, in the day it was now third period, the last period before lunch. Stacie found herself seated in the back of her history class, the one class she never enjoyed. She took out her binder with a sigh as she was the only one without a partner next to her.
"Stacie, right?" Came a sweet but shy voice.
Stacie looked up and to her right "Yeah and your Emily." Stacie smiled.
Emily nodded "You remembered?" She asked.
Stacie smiled "Of course I did. Why wouldn't I?"
"Not many people do. Guess I don't talk much for people." Emily said, "Is the seat taken?" She asked.
Stacie shook her head "Please be my guest." She spoke.
"Thank you." Emily smiled as she sat down.
"If you don't mind me asking, why are you so quiet? Is it because your shy?" Stacie asked.
Emily shook her head "No it's not that. It's just Beca says it's for the best to just keep a low profile."
"Why's that?" Stacie asked curiously.
"Uhh she's not too keen on trusting people so you know." Emily answered hesitantly.
"And you just go with it?" Stacie asked.
Emily sighed "She has her reasons and it's not my place to say why. I follow her and listen to her because she saved me in so many ways, I honestly wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. So, the least I could do is respect her and listen." Emily answered.
Now Stacie was as curious as ever, but she knew better then to push and pry. She knew when to respect people's privacy and let them be. After all she just wanted to get to know them better since they only every talked to one another.
"I respect that. Just know that you have a friend in me even if we don't really know each other. The both of you do, I know I'm just a stranger to you guys, but I'd like to get to know the two of you." Stacie smiled.
"I'd love that, Beca on the other hand might need some convincing." Emily chuckled.
"She'll grow to love me. I'm a people person." Stacie joked with a wink causing the other girl to laugh.
After the bell ring signaling it was time for lunch, the two girls packed up and walked towards the cafeteria together.
"Hey why don't you follow me, and I'll introduce you to Beca?" Emily asked.
"Will she be cool with that? I don't want to make things weird." Stacie asked.
Emily smiled "She'll listen to me."
Stacie nodded and the two made their way out to the courtyard from the cafeteria and walked to a table in the back of the courtyard. Beca was already their snacking on some chips when the two girls arrived.
"Hey Becs." Emily said cheerfully.
Beca looked up and noticed that Emily wasn't alone.
"Em?" Beca questioned.
Emily smiled "Oh right, this is Stacie. Stacie this is Beca."
Stacie smiled and waved "Hi, nice to meet you."
Beca nodded her head "Pleasure."
"Sorry about her, she's not really talkative until you get to know her." Emily said leaning close to Stacie's ear.
"I heard that you know." Beca said giving Emily a knowing look.
Emily groaned "Of course you did."
"Wow, you must have great hearing to hear that." Stacie said shocked considering they were a good distance away from the girl and how low Emily whispered into her ear.
"You have no idea." Beca chuckled before she noticed both girls were still standing.
"You two going to sit or what?" Beca asked raising her brows.
"Are you sure it's ok?" Stacie asked.
Beca looked towards Emily and gave her look.
Stacie stared at the two as they appeared to be having a silent conversation amongst themselves. She saw as Emily gave Beca a smile and nod.
"Be our guest. If Emily says your ok, then by all means." Beca said gesturing to the table.
Stacie sat down across from Beca as Emily sat down next to Beca.
"So, did you two just move here?" Stacie asked.
"Yeah, we tend to move a lot due to our parents." Beca answered.
"What do they do if you don't mind me asking?" Stacie said.
"They both work for the same company, but they work for the board so whenever there's a new building opening, they run it until everything gets situated." Beca answered.
"It must suck having to move frequently." Stacie said.
Beca shrugged "Yeah but it has a major perk which is being able to visit and live in so many different states."
The three girls spent the rest of lunch talking and getting to know one another. All things considered it went well with Stacie wanting to get to know the pair even more. There was just something about them that she found so intriguing. Not to mention she found Beca to be pretty dam attractive.
"Hey where we're you during lunch?" Chloe asked as they all met up in the parking lot after school ended.
"Oh, I spent it with Beca and Emily." Stacie answered.
"Hold on, you sat down and talked to them for an hour and a half?" CR asked.
Stacie nodded "Yeah why is that so shocking?"
"Because they don't talk. They just sit there in silence, it's creepy as hell if you ask me." Aubrey said.
"Shut up Aubrey, there actually nice and friendly when you get to know them". Stacie said a bit on the defensive side.
"Ok calm down legs." Amy said.
As they were all talking, Beca and Emily made it to Beca's car.
"So?" Emily asked.
"What?" Beca asked.
"Come on. Stacie, what'd you think?" Emily asked.
Beca shrugged "She's cool, I still don't know her, but she doesn't seem like the others." Beca answered.
"You like her." Emily smirked.
Beca looked at her like she grew a third head "What?" She asked.
"You like her, and you know it. I can tell by how you were when you saw her." Emily said.
Beca shook her head "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Right of course." Emily nodded.
Beca opened the driver door and was about to get in when a voice called out to them.
"Emily, Beca!" Stacie said loudly as she approached them.
"Hey Stacie." Emily smiled.
"Hey." Beca said.
Stacie stood by the hood and gave a quick smile as she reached for a piece of paper and wrote something down handing it over to Emily since she's talked to her more.
"Here's my number for you two. Just in case you need a friend or if you need help with homework. I'm always available if needed." Stacie smiled.
Emily took the piece of paper with a smile "Thank you, we appreciate the kind gesture. If we need help or feel like hanging out, we'll definitely hit you up."
"Yeah, trust me you'll be hearing from her real soon." Beca said before getting into the car.
Once Emily and Stacie exchanged a few more words, Emily got in and the two girls were off towards there house.
Later on, at night it was currently 10pm and the girls decided to take a stroll around the town. They were walking down the sidewalk passing different stores and gas stations when they noticed a familiar figure.
"Hey isn't that Stacie?" Emily asked nodding towards the girl across the street.
Beca followed her line of sight and nodded "Yeah, what's she doing all alone at this time?" Beca thought out loud.
"I don't know." Emily said confused as to why she'd be alone and walking.
Beca had a feeling they should keep an eye on her and nine times out of ten when she had this feeling, something would always happen. Despite not really knowing the girl she still wanted to ensure her safety.
"Em you stay on this side and I'll follow behind her. You know the drill." Beca said.
"Got it." Emily said as Beca crossed the street and made her way to the other side.
Beca kept her distance and followed Stacie while Emily shadowed them on the other side of the street. They walked a couple more blocks until Stacie made a turn down a back alley towards an opening that led to the woods. Back stayed in the shadows of the alley way as Emily came to a stop next to her.
"What's she doing?" Emily said quietly.
"Looks like kids are having a bonfire." Beca answered.
"Well, what now?" Emily asked.
"I'm staying and keeping an eye out. I got another one of my feelings." Beca said.
Emily nodded and knew what usually occurred when that would happen.
"Alright so what's the plan?" Emily asked.
"Stick to the shadows." Beca said as she headed right.
Emily headed left and the two stayed hidden keeping an eye out for any unusual event.
An hour later as kids started to slowly leave, Stacie was once again alone. Beca observed and noticed one particular girl that caught her eye. The girl had blood red hair and eyes that would change colors from bright green to an almost dark yellow. Beca noticed how the girl would keep on looking at Stacie throughout the gathering but never once talked to her. She found the girls movements to be odd so when Stacie started to walk away and she followed, Beca made sure to trail behind.
Emily noticed this as well and split off similar to how they were earlier. Once Stacie took a different alleyway to cut through the neighborhood, she heard a growl come from in front of her. She stopped and saw two pairs of glowing red eyes that froze her.
Beca heard the growl and cursed under her breath "Shit, I knew it."
Emily also heard the growl "Oh come on." She groaned.
Stacie started to back up slowly but as she did the pair of red eyes kept getting closer.
Beca quickly acted and dashed in front of Stacie.
Emily followed her actions and dashed next to Beca.
"Well why am I not surprised to see you two here?" A voice called out as two glowing yellow eyes appeared next to the pair of red ones.
"The fuck are you doing here Alexia?" Beca asked angrily.
"Why isn't it obvious? Hunting you dear sister of mine." Alexia said.
"By stalking innocent teenagers?" Beca asked.
"Well, I knew you were around, so I had to draw you out." Alexia said.
"What's the plan?" Emily asked.
"Whatever you come up with won't work." Alexia said finally stepping out of the shadows.
When she did, they all heard a gasp come from behind them as Stacie's eye landed on the owner of the red glowing eyes.
"What is that? Who are you?" Stacie asked frightened.
Beca turned around and faced Stacie "Beca?"
"Hey Stacie. Look I know you got a lot of questions but for now, I need you to find safety. Now go." Beca said sternly.
Stacie nodded and quickly took off.
Alexia let out a whistle "Thorn, fetch." She demanded which caused Thorn to go after Stacie.
"Em, protect Stacie at all costs. I'll deal with her." Beca ordered.
Emily nodded and took off after Stacie and Thorn.
