Shego sighed as she picked herself up off the floor. Kicked down by Kim Possible yet again. "Life isn't fair, Doc."
"But I did everything right this time! I didn't do a countdown, I didn't have a 'self-destruct' button, I –"
"Face it, you keep losing because you're not cut out for this. You're not a bad guy."
Drakken frowned. "Shego –"
She held up a single hand. Unlit, but Drakken flinched back all the same. "Just stop. I can't with your pouting right now." And before Drakken could say anything else, Shego stormed out of the room, her limp from her latest battle just visible.
As she stumbled to her room, Drakken surveyed the damage. A completely unusable doomsday device. A floor singed beyond repair. And a ferociously angry sidekick.
No, not even angry. Just … fed up. With him.
Drakken slammed his fists on the table. How dare she say he wasn't a bad guy? And as much as he wanted to play it off like he wasn't pained, he felt his heart constrict as he thought about her words.
