Total Simaniac: Thanks for the review. Yes, I feel a little bad for Sierra. But I need some antagonists. I will have to compensate her in another story.

I want to be Famous.

None of the teams noticed the flag falling from the top of the stage and hitting the ground until the speakers were turned off by the staff and the host's excited voice filled the room.

"IT'S OVER! The blue flag has fallen, Black Unicorn are the winners of the War of the bands! BLACK UNICORN WIN! They are THE BEST BAND of CANADA!" shouted an excited Topher.

Heather fell on her knees, but even if they lost, she was smiling. Harold ran to her side to comfort her.

Across them, the Black unicorn stood there without cheering, still processing their victory. Then Cody ran and hugged Ella, then Trent hugged both of them, then Duncan and finally B joining them in a big and joyful hug. They won. After all the 7 weeks of challenges, they were the winners.

"Thanks, H-tonics, you did a great performance, but there could be only one winner in this war. But before they go, let's give H-Bomb, Q-Bee, Boss B-rdo, The Circumstance, and Dr. E-vil a big hand. You guys rock, and we hope to hear more of you," exclaimed Topher, clapping, as the public cheered wildly.

Max was the first to leave the stage grumbling about how stupid the viewers were. He didn't want the rest of his bandmates to notice he was crying. Beardo and Mike didn't care and were crying, while Harold helped Heather to stand up.

"Don't cry, show some dignity," said Heather frowning angry, even if tears were also rolling across her cheeks.

Harold embraced her by the shoulders and waved at the crowd before going out of the stage, the public cheering loudly as they went away.

Ella looked at them, tears coming to her eyes. It was easy for her to relate because they did their best, just like her friends.

"Don't cry for them, Ella, be proud that this time we end on top. Next time we may not be so lucky," said Trent putting his hand gently on her shoulder.

"What are you saying, Elvis? We're the best! Let them come a hundred times, and we'll beat them a hundred and one," bragged Duncan, smirking. "Ella let's go," the delinquent suddenly took her hand and ran to the main stage. The rest of the band followed them.

"And here comes the Black Unicorn! Watch the excitement in their faces as they come to this stage," said Topher, holding a microphone and standing next to the band.

On the stage was Ella, with Cody, Duncan, Trent and B behind her. In front of them was Topher with Chris and Lindsay at his side.

"And tell us, what does it feel to be the Winner of the War of the bands?" asked Topher, holding the microphone at Ella.

"Je suis très heureux…[1]" replied Ella in a broken voice, smiling while crying. She had to stop answering the question, overwhelmed by the emotions.

Cody hugged her by the shoulders while Trent took the question.

"We're so happy to win this competition, and we want to thank our families, our friends, and our fans that support us. thank you," said Trent, the public cheering loudly.

Ella, still crying, took the microphone, "mère, tu avais raison, les rêves deviennent réalité,[2]" her gradmother and aunt were smiling and crying just like her petite princesse.

"And Ella is right, dreams really come true, and with your victory, you also won 100,000 dollars. What will you do with the money?" asked the host holding the microphone at B.

The silent man smiled, took the mic, and moved it (also moving Topher's arm) toward Duncan, who raised a side of his unibrow.

"We'll use it in sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Woooo- Hey!" Duncan began to reply excitedly, then he was smacked in the head by B, who took the microphone again and dragged Topher toward Cody.

"Thanks, B. We plan to use it to finance our musical project and to try to record our first album. We love to make music together and want to keep doing it for a long time," answered Cody smiling. B, Ella, and Trent nodding and Duncan shrugging.

Topher walked to the front of the stage and faced the public. "That would be awesome when you release your first album, I'll be on the first line to buy it." While he talked, Lindsay walked toward the band holding a giant paper check.

"And now, her hotness herself is giving the band their prize of 100,000 dollars," Topher announced, as she gave the check to the five bandmates while the staff made some photographs.

"With this is official, Black Unicorn, you're the BEST JUVENILE BAND IN CANADA," shouted the young host, the public cheering loudly while they waved. It was like a dream for the band. Their families and friends, former opponents and fans, all were cheering loudly. It was their night.

After two minutes of cheering, it began to fall white and golden confetti from the roof. A spotlight illuminated the band.

"And what better way to end this War than with a performance from the winners? Ladies, and gentlemen, they are Black Unicorn," exclaimed Topher, as the staff entered onto the stage and gave the surprised musicians their instruments.

Duncan and Trent chose electric guitars and Cody his bass, B sat at the drums, and Ella took the microphone. They didn't need to speak. They knew which song to play.

Trent began playing, the B join, then Duncan and Cody, and finally Ella. The song was 'Living the Dream,' the one Trent composed when he met Ella, and their first song performed together as the Black Unicorn.

The song about a girl who gave up her youthful dreams and decides to pursue them again took an entirely new meaning as they won the competition. They are now living their new dream.

As the performance hit the climax with Duncan's guitar solo, a giant version of the Black unicorn's yellow flag was lowered from the ceiling, covering all the stage background.

The public started to clap and chant the band name. Even Justin was cheering loudly at the band for the first time.

As they finished, the bandmembers began to wave and thank the audience, as Ella made a pair of curtsies.

Topher went back to the stage, trying to talk over the cheering of the audience. "That was awesome, really awesome! They're Black Unicorn, the Best juvenile band in Canada."

"I'm Topher Secrest, and this was the War of the Bands. Thanks for joining us during this time. This war is over, but life continues, so please continue supporting these young bands. Thanks for watching, good night and see you next time."

War of the bands, The End

"FOR THE BEST IN CANADA, CHEERS!" All the presents cheered loudly, the sound of cups, cans, and bins clinking around the room, mixed with the guests' yells and laughs in the not so improvised party.

It was the biggest party in Justin's house they ever had. They had to move some of the furniture to the basement to make space for the guests. Cody was talking with Sam, Noah, Emma, Sammy, and Dakota about their awesome victory in the War of the Bands.

Trent was with Gwen, Marylin, Dawn, and Sierra on a corner. Ella was on the sofa chatting with Sky, Bridgette, Courtney, and Kitty. In the Kitchen, Geoff, Duncan, DJ, Brody, and Dave were having a drinking contest that will not end well for at least 2 of the participants.

And in the middle of the living room, some couples were dancing, including B and Scarlett, Izzy and Owen, Ennui and Crimson, and Justin and Eva.

"And tell us Cody, what are your plans for the future?" asked Emma after he finished telling them the story of their final song.

"Well, we'll try to record our first album. Topher told us that they'll offer us a record deal in a few days as part of the prize," replied Cody, smiling proudly.

Sammy looked at him with wide eyes. "So you'll try to go pro instead of going to college?"

Cody shook his head. "No, Trent and I'll study music major at the University of Toronto. And Ella and B will finish high school. The idea is recording and studying at the same time. Or at least we will try to do it."

"Buff, sound like a lot of extra work," said Noah with a pained expression.

The brunette guy looked at Ella with a tender expression. "Don't worry, we'll only keep doing what we love to do, and all will work."

"Wait," interrupted Sam, raising an eyebrow, "THAT B didn't end high school yet?" He was surprised because the drummer was really smart.

Cody chuckled nervously. "Well, he's still 17 years old, after all."

All the presents looked at him with wide eyes. This meant that B was younger than Cody.

"Then he had quite a hard life. I don't want to meet him when he is -*ouch*" Started Noah, before being elbowed by Emma. That scowled at him.

All the presents laughed and continued talking about the future.

Meanwhile, Trent's group was talking about the past.

"I'm so happy that you and Harold are on good terms again," said Sierra, "and I'm sure all the drama brothers' fans are also happy."

"We had our differences. At least in my mind, Harold was like some kind of enemy. But after he wished us good luck in the first round, I realize that it was more in my mind than in reality. He just wanted to explore his talent in a different way," explained Trent, rubbing his neck.

Marylin elbowed Trent with a mischievous smile. "And that last song, it sounds like it was composed just for you guys-"

"Marylin, Trent composed that song inspired by his band. So it was made for them," replied Gwen sighing at her friend's antics.

"Oh wow! That's why it was so appropriate. I felt some kind of dark fate connection between them and the song. So that's why, um-hum," replied the pink-haired goth, nodding.

Dawn shook her head, smiling tenderly. "That's a lie. You can only feel positive energy flowing from that song."

"Don't mess with me, shorty. I'm cursed by the ancient ones. I know when I sense a dark connection," replied Marylin looking with contempt at the blond animal lover.

Dawn puffed her cheeks and clenched her hands into fists, "I can't believe there is someone more unpleasant and rude than Duncan. But now I see the world is wider than I thought."

"You goths aren't supposed to be laconic and stoic?" whispered Sierra to Gwen while Trent laughed at the argument.

"Marylin's the exception that proves the rule," replied Gwen rolling her eyes, "and Trent, did you think about what we were talking about before?"

The green-eyed guitarist looked at Ella and sighed. "Sorry Gwen. These days were too hectic. Please wait for me just a bit more."

Gwen blushed and looked down a moment, nodding. She had already made her mind. Now she only had to wait and see if Marylin's prediction comes true.

In the kitchen, the guys were a little more than tipsy. Brody was finishing a liter of beer in one go as the rest cheered.

"Wow, Brody, you're the man, dude," said Geoff hugging him.

"I don't know Geoff, if I was so cool, I would get a pretty girlfriend like your dudette," replied Brody sighing. He was very drunk.

Geoff patted him in the back. "Man, that's not true. You only haven't found the right girl."

"And also, man, you shouldn't ask the girls to go out with you after dancing with them only one time, man," replied DJ nodding. So far, Brody was rejected by at least 4 girls in the past parties.

"And maybe try to remember her names correctly before asking them out?" added Dave, who was also getting drunk.

Brody patted Dave hard in the back. "Eh? But that wasn't what Geoff did to get Bridge."

"Maybe hearing Geoff's tips is the first thing you should change," said Duncan, snickering.

"Not cool, man. I'm no way a ladies' man, but I did great with my sweetie pie," replied Geoff, who went to Duncan's side, staggering while walking.

Duncan smirked, putting a hand on Geoff's shoulder. "Man, if Bridge wasn't the kindest girl in the world, she wouldn't be dating you. Remember the cupid surprise?"

"How would I know her mother would be the first to enter her apartment while I was dressed as cupid?" rebuked Geoff blushing in embarrassment.

Dj shook his head. "Maybe if you were at least dating, the situation would have been less awkward."

"HEY! I trespassed into her apartment that day to ask her to be my girlfriend," replied Geoff. The rest of the guys laughed.

Duncan patted his friend's shoulder and then walked toward Dave, putting his arm across the Indian guy's shoulder.

"Now Daniel, I need to ask you something," Duncan walked, taking Dave away from the group.

"Ehm, my name's Dave," replied the Indian guy raising an eyebrow.

"You play with Princess and also dated Ella. If you have to choose one, which one would be?" asked Duncan looking menacingly at Dave.

Dave chuckled, "That's too easy-" Duncan raised an eyebrow because it was NOT easy.

"-just choose the one you don't want to miss anymore." The Indian guy made a small smile, looking at the delinquent eyes.

Duncan blinked and then laughed loudly. "Wow, that was deep, useless, but deep," replied the delinquent, patting Dave so hard that he knocked the poor guy down.

"But thanks, now I know my answer," Duncan smirked as usual while helping Dave to stand up again.

"The question is which one deserves to be punished with you as their boyfriend," said Dave under his breath, his back still hurt him.

On the dance floor, most of the couples had already stopped dancing. Only Izzy, Owen, B, and Scarlett had enough stamina to keep going. But after the last song, the latter two also stopped, going to the table to pick something to drink.

"After expending some time interacting with you, my analysis concludes that you aren't only a human with a vast set of skills and talents but also your silent behavior doesn't come from shyness, but for a personal conviction that you don't need to express your thoughts verbally," said Scarlett as B served two glasses of punch.

B smiled at her and wobble rhythmically left and right while giving Scarlett her glass.

"With that body gesture, you mean my perception was almost accurate but not precise. It is curious how my analysis improves after spending some moments socializing with you. Maybe it's the ethylic content in my blood, but my brain secretes more endorphins when I'm with you. I would be interested in spending more time studying this phenomenon, if you agree, of course," said the redhead blushing as much as her hair.

B also blushed and scratched his cheek. Scarlett was a great girl, and at this moment, even if he wanted to speak, he was without words.

And on the sofa, the girls were also chatting and laughing.

"Ella, you were so beautiful, and your voice was simply beautiful," said Sky, her eyes sparkling.

Ella blushed, covering her cheeks with her hands. "Oh, you are too kind Sky, I was not that good. I had the fortune of performing with a wonderful band. Without them, I would never have a chance."

"That's not true. You're also a great singer on your own," said Kitty, smirking, "but anyway, tell us, who is the fortunate one?"

Ella tilted her head and blinked a few times.

The young Asian girl blushed and made an impish smile. "C'mon, who of them is the one you like? Is there any one of them you would like to date? They're all so handsome."

"Oh, mon dieu[1], I do not know. They are all so thoughtful and good-hearted," replied Ella blushing.

"But they seem all interested in you," insisted Kitty, not hiding her excitement. "There is none of them that you like?"

"Kitty, stop, that's a private matter between Ella and the boys," Courtney interrupted her, glaring daggers at Emma's sister.

Ella was grateful to Courtney. She really was too flustered to answer the question.

"But Ella, as private as that matter is, you may want to take a step forward now. It's not fair to keep them waiting," said the Latin girl looking at her eyes.

The fairy princess never realized that, but it was true. If she kept hesitating, none of them could move forward. She must make her decision clear for their sake.

"Thanks, Miss Courtney. I'll take your advice at heart," Ella put her hands over her heart as she replied.

"Please Ella, just call me Courtney," replied the Latin girl.

The rest of the party was fun and loud, like the others. But for Ella, it also was the moment she decided to meet her prince and tell him her true feelings.

It was on Sunday, Ella took her phone, she wrote the message to see him at noon to tell him her answer. She was nervous, but it was her decision. After confessing her feelings for him, they, together, will tell the rest of the band.

Trent was writing his new song in his room. The victory gave him a lot of inspiration to compose. He was waiting for Ella's call, but even if he wasn't the one, he would be happy with just keep listening to her singing his songs.

Duncan was lying on his bed, looking at some photos on his mobile. Some were of Ella, and some of Courtney. He was so sure of his decision, but now, at the last moment, he had second thoughts. He hoped she would call soon. He needed to know her feelings.

Cody was cleaning the instruments in the basement. They would be rehearsing this afternoon, and they needed to be in their best shape. He was waiting for Ella's call, but even if he wasn't the one, he would be happy as long as she's happy. Even if it's Trent again the one that gets the girl.

B was repairing an old amplifier he had at home, it was burnt, but with some new pieces, it would be as good as new. He spent the weekend with his old gang. He wasn't sure who Ella would choose but only hoped her decision wouldn't break the band.

One of the phones rang, and the owner took the message. Ella will be waiting in the park. He made haste to arrive as soon as possible.

Ella was waiting with a tender smile as she saw him entering the park, all her doubts cleared. After today, she and her prince will be together at last. And fortunately, it didn't break the band. It made it stronger.

The awesome summer of the war of the bands may have ended, but as Topher said, life goes on.

Malibu: Geoff and Bridgette started living together in Toronto, and Brody stayed in Vancouver. They still plan to compete again against Cody's band. Bridgette became friends with Courtney, and they compose together. Geoff discovered his passion as a veterinarian helping DJ in the shelter. He still parties too many weekends with Duncan.

Psycho Hose Beast: The band dissolved, but they're still good friends. Owen and Noah sharing an apartment in Toronto. Talking about the big guy, Owen and Izzy are still dating, and they form a new group called The Explosivos, in which they play a mix of folklore and metal. Owen's also studying professional cooking at the university. Eva began to teach Justin how to play the drums. He's planning to become better before forming a band.

Spicey Gals: Amy and Sammy had been working on reconciling, Sammy apologized to Carrie, and they reformed the band after Sky left it. Amy still resent her sister, but at least call her Sammy and let her sing. Kitty began to learn how to play the keyboard to try to surpass her sister. Dakota began to date Sam in October. Surprisingly he and Amy had a great relationship, being Amy who encouraged Dakota to start dating him.

Dead Bodies: They're still playing together, even if some of them are studying or working. Reaper was studying physics and started dating Pixie corpse, who is working in a goth shop. Crimson joined the band as a keyboard and second guitar but is too shy to sing. With Ennui support, they're trying to get a scholarship to study in Iceland. Gwen is studying astronomy and has become the official leader of the band. Reaper suspects she's dating a non-Goth, but she avoids the subject every time. Marylin is still as crazy as always.

Princess Court: Dave and Sky left their bands and returned to Zombie attack, but Noah took Dave's place in the court. He and Emma started dating shortly after the show's end. Scarlett became a good friend of B, and some say that maybe she has a crush on him, but she denies it. Courtney started to learn to relax and control her temperament. She decided to drop from university and chase her dream of becoming a singer. She's dating and in a happy relationship.

Devil's Muse: To everyone's surprise, they didn't disband. Now they are a 5 man band, including Rock, Spud, Lorenzo, Chet, and Taylor. She's studying singing and trying harder to improve, but there will be some time before she can perform at the top level. Her mother's reputation took a hit, so she started working again from scratch, rebuilding her partners' trust. Jose and Alejandro are being judged for theft. Because Alejandro was a minor at the time, and he's cooperating is possible that he doesn't go to prison. Taylor and B visit him regularly.

H-tonics: Even if they ended in second, H-tonics gain great fame as an Acapella band and create a channel on youtube to promote their songs. The channel helped Max to make more friends, and Beardo became more open to other people. Mike told about his DID problem in a stream, receiving a lot of support from the public, so he started making videos to get attention over the at last, Heather agreed to make public his relationship with Zoey.

Talking of Heather, her relationship with Harold improves a lot after the show. They're an artistic power couple. Heather began to take the way to stardom at a more steady but relaxed pace. Harold rekindles his friendship with Cody, Trent, and Justin, even if they don't plan to play together again. After some weeks of getting fame with their channel, they got a recording contract with TDM (Total Drama Music).

Black Unicorn: After winning the prize, Total Drama Network gave them a recording contract with their Record Label Total Drama Music. Their first album, 'Fairy Dreams' hit number 10 on the charts. They use the prize money to help the band and get a place to practice outside of Cody's house. Trent, Cody, and Duncan (obligated by his friends) started the university, while B and Ella began their last semester of high school. Ella's still making music with them, something she loves, along with her boyfriend and friends.

They'll play in the Christmas Special of Total Drama Network, hosted by Topher, in which he'll make the announcement of a new reality show for next summer.

What surprises, challenges, and problems will face the band in the future, nobody knows, but they will deal with them as a group of friends that love to make music together.
